Earla Rocked Our Winter Wedding !!

My husband and I truly cannot say enough about Earla. Coming into this process we weren’t even sure if we wanted a wedding coordinator. But let me tell you- you owe it to yourself to get a wedding planner like Earla. Earla made it her job to take away every stressor Scott and I had. She was like this little fairy running around and solving all our problems. Earla was professional, creative, understood our vision, and truly made my dreams a reality. From having things like Bobby pins on hand, making sure I asked the venue all the right questions, connecting vendors to each other, and getting us from place to place during the wedding on time, Earla was perfect. I had so much fun at my wedding and it’s all thanks to Earla! 10/10 recommend to ease your mind during the planning process and especially on the big day!

Trout Wedding 5.3.25

Earla was a huge help throughout our entire wedding planning process. Earla checked in multiple times throughout our planning process and had checklists to keep me on track based on how far away from the big day we were. Her and Debbie attended our rehearsal and made sure it went smoothly. Earla arrived the day of the wedding and decorated our venue, set up the cookie table, and coordinated with all other vendors. She helped to make my very type A personality happy and relaxed.

Mother of the bride feedback

My daughter's wedding at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh was beyond perfect. This is truly in part due to Earla Marshall, who was the Wedding Planner. Earla assisted with all specifics and details from day one which helped my daughter reduce stress and be able to enjoy every moment leading up to her big day. Earla was extremely resourceful, very responsive, uber organized, and was very positive throughout the entire planning process. Especially on the day of the wedding, Earla assisted with ensuring that not only my daughter's experience was all that she had dreamed of yet she was very attentive to making sure myself as well as the bridesmaids and other wedding party were able to enjoy the day to the greatest extent as well. I would recommend Earla as a Wedding Planner and consultant without reservation for future brides and grooms!

Earla is so helpful and knowledgeable!

Earla was very helpful with every step of our wedding day success! She even went above and beyond, and actually fixed our entire seating chart the night before the wedding, because our place cards did not arrive on time. This was such a life saver! She helped prep, plan, and perfect our wedding day timeline, and helped execute it flawlessly! Her advice was always helpful and reasonable, while still respecting our opinions and wishes. She has tons of experience, that proved she was the best person to help us on our special day. We couldn’t have done it without her and I definitely recommend her for your special day as well!

Made the Wedding Day run Very Smoothly

We hired Earla as "Day of Coordinator." I found her help with my daughter's wedding day to be invaluable because she orchestrated the ceremony and all the people who were involved for us. We didn't have to worry because she kept an eye on everything that was happening. Earla also came to the rehearsal dinner (with a helper), which was held off-site. She explained everything to the large bridal party. She also worked with the vendors we hired and helped with the wedding venue set-up. Planning a wedding can be quite complex, so it's nice to be able to enjoy the day instead of worrying about the many details. I would recommend Earla; she is personable, helpful, and has lots of experience.

Earla is great!!

Earla is great and both my husband and I would recommend her to any couple! She was very helpful in securing our transportation and hotel block, and we had to switch things around a bit with both and she was very quick to reach back out to them without any trouble! On the day of our wedding, she saved the day by coming to our Airbnb and handing off the boutonnières for the groomsmen that were dropped off at our venue by mistake. On the day of the wedding, she was helpful in putting on all the boutonnières and she met with us a few times to go over details and give us some Things to think through that I wouldn’t have thought of myself. She was kind and professional to all of my wedding party, family members, and guests. She even offered to go out mid wedding to get me some eyelash glue (which I ended up deciding I didn’t need) but she came prepared with a wedding emergency kit for other necessities. Thank you Earla and her assistant Patti- you both ensured our wedding went smooth- and we had the best time!

Amazing! I will be referring all of my friends!

Earla did everything we asked and more! She was able to get us in with the venue we wanted and was very quick in her responses. She also sent over emails every few months to guide us on what we should be focused on during that time period. Highly recommend!

Exceptional Day-of Coordination

Earla and Debbie did an exceptional job as our day-of wedding coordinators! Earla was very communicative and helpful with addressing and planning day-of logistics that my husband and I didn't really consider. On our wedding day, she handled so many little details behind the scenes and we were amazed with everything that came together without us knowing, including handling shuttle issues, designing last-minute decoration changes, and assigning MCs for different parts of the reception. In addition, we especially appreciated how much she thought of us when asking if we wanted a quiet moment after the ceremony to be with each other. Thank you to Earla and Debbie for a fantastic wedding!

Excellent Wedding Coordinator Services

We recently held a wedding ceremony and reception with about 70 guests at Eden Hall, and we hired Earla Marshall of EFM Image Consultants for Wedding Coordinator services. We were planning the reception remotely from California during the pandemic, and were only able to visit the venue twice prior to the day of the event. Planning a wedding remotely is a challenge, but Earla met with us at the venue prior to the event, and also held numerous phone and video calls to discuss the details and make sure we were on track. She helped plan the logistics of the day, and offered advice about components to consider, including during the ceremony and reception, based on her experience with previous weddings. She also helped reassure us that she would make things run smoothly during the event. She gave us confidence and helped ease any anxiety we were feeling throughout the planning process. We were very comfortable working with her and felt that things were under control.

During the rehearsal, Earla and her assistant Debbie came to the venue for a final discussion about wedding day plans, to walk through the ceremony, and to iron out the last remaining details. They were kind enough to stay longer than planned to make sure everything was clear for the next day. Debbie even offered to help with the sound equipment so that one of our friends did not need to worry about this during the ceremony. We were so thankful for this unexpected help and it really put our minds at ease.

The day of the event, Earla and Debbie made sure the last remaining setup items were complete, and that things ran smoothly and according to schedule. Ahead of time, Earla said her goal was to handle any issues that might arise without us even noticing or worrying, and that was exactly what happened. Earla helped make sure the bride had time to hydrate and cool down, and Debbie helped with her bustle when it needed to be hand-stitched. Both Earla and Debbie were a professional, friendly and calming presence on the day of the wedding, and we feel confident recommending their services to others.

Earla is a Rock Star Coordinator

Let me preface my praise of Earla with a few facts:
1. The bride and groom live in California (the state, not California, PA) and the wedding venue and all guests are located in Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio
2. We were making plans “mid-covid” so much had to be done via e-mail, facetime and zoom meetings
3. My daughter (the bride) is a planner and very detail oriented

Planning a wedding celebration is no small fete, but trying to do it long distance in the middle of covid lockdowns makes it even more challenging. I had no idea how we were going to get everything planned. I encouraged my daughter to engage the services of a Day of Wedding Coordinator. Oh wow! am I glad she found Earla Marshall of EFM Image Consultants. Earla is wonderful. She kept us on track and made sure all of our planning paid off. When we were in doubt of anything Earla was able to offer suggestions and help us through our indecision and/or confusion. She shared her knowledge and experience in a lighthearted but professional manner, never bossy or condescending. On wedding day Earla and her assistant allowed us to focus on enjoying celebrating with our families and friends and not worrying about anything. It was the perfect celebration for the perfect couple overseen by the perfect coordinator, Earla Marshall!

Excellent Experience

Earla was the best thing to happen to my wedding! She helped us plan every step of the way and always kept us on track with the planning process as my wedding came closer and closer. Earla was a pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a wedding coordinator. She always answers your questions and concerns promptly, is organized and keeps you in the loop as to what is going on with vendors etc. The DJ for my daughter's wedding even said how wonderful she was to work with! Helpful day of coordination

When I first met Earla, she was personable and super informative. We entered a pandemic half way through planning and she still continued to help even though she knew her services would most likely not be needed (due to the 25 max guest list) . She helped ease the stresses of the wedding day even though she would not be there. I highly recommend her and would 100% hire her again if we decide to plan a larger reception later in the next year or 2. 💕

Very professional and helped us through the process of making the day run smoothly

Earla was very professional and coordinated all of the last minute details to make the day special. She was able to keep the bridal party and guests calm in the hot sun, when one of the shuttle buses got lost and delayed the ceremony for 45 minutes. The delay caused the rescheduling of the entire evening which and she made the reception run smoothly as she coordinated with the caterer and DJ.
Her years of experience and expertise guided us to make this important day go smoothly. We appreciated her counseling throughout the entire wedding planning process.

Our wedding looked amazing with all the diy decorations I made and Earla made it came to life. She seen my vision and new exactly how i wanted things. Everything this woman did was great. Day of Coordination

Earla was wonderful to work with! I’m so happy that we hired her to help us on the day of our wedding. I was planning the wedding 8 hours away so it was a bit stressful trying to get the day organized. Earla was extremely helpful getting the timeline down, booking the transportation and making sure all the details were covered. After the ceremony was over she organized my husband and I to have a couple minutes to ourselves which I will be forever grateful for. She made sure everything was taken care of and I highly recommend choosing her for your day. My only regret- not hiring her as a full time planner!! Thank you Earla!

Wonderful to work with--EFM

Earla and Allison were wonderful to work with, resulting in a beautiful wedding for our daughter that went flawlessly. It was our only daughters wedding so we were somewhat naive, however Earla was always a step ahead with what was needed. Several times I thought,'great idea or good thinking'. I believe EFM was the best value we received of all the services we hired for our daughter's special day.

Earla truly was my wedding fairy godmother! We hired her as our day-of coordinator and she really went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted. I was having trouble feeling like I needed to please everyone and make everything perfect. Earla was so kind, patient and helpful, and really made me feel at ease about our big day. She made sure to introduce herself to all of our vendors and to keep everyone on the same page as to the timeline and how we wanted the day to go. Earla was the most amazing coordinator! Not only was she professional, caring and energetic, she seemed to truly enjoy helping me make our wedding exactly what I dreamed it would be. Any time I needed help, she would ask me questions about what I wanted and guide me toward something I would personally love, rather than just toss out random ideas, or things that were popular with other brides.

She is highly recommended. No matter what sort of wedding you're having - from a small, quirky shindig to a lavish, giant affair, she will make sure everything is perfect and that your wedding is the one of your dreams.

Earla was absolutely amazing! She was available to us no matter what time of day or night it was. We had some major issues with our photographer, and she was on top of things to resolve the issue first thing in the morning, and sometimes until it was after dinner time. This went on for weeks before the wedding, and even AFTER the wedding she was still working with us to help make sure everything was finalized. She did everything she could to help us through any issues with planning. We planned our wedding from out of town, and she was great at finding local, quality vendors for our wedding. We met up with Earla the week before the wedding to finalize everything for the day of, and she was available to meet anytime and anywhere that was convenient for us. She SAVED the day by finding a new photographer for our wedding... a WEEK before our ceremony. She really put a lot of time and effort into solving the issues surrounding our photography. Earla and her sister, Betty, did an amazing job the day of our wedding organizing everything, and keeping us on track. I would definitely recommend EFM for wedding planning help!

Earla has a great personality and was a lot of fun to work with. My daughters wedding was the first one for us and we really didn't have a clue as to what we were doing. We had almost 300 guests and Earla had a lot of helpful suggestions to make things go smoothly. We did have a few little bumps the day of wedding but Earla was quick to fix them. Overall the Wedding and Reception were beautiful and we couldn't have done it without EFM. So grateful for her services and friendship!!! We still have two more children to get married someday and when the time comes we will definitely use EFM.

Backdrop/accent wall

Although I was unable to have my wedding due to COVID 19, EFM Images was great in getting back to me in a timely manner, very helpful in putting an idea together in a short period of time and was able to give great recommendations.

Earla and her team are extremely attentive and ready to help with anything you need. My wife and I had a very nontraditional wedding, which Earla was very flexable and understanding of. I would just say to let Earla and her team know upfront your vision so she can best help bring it to life and not leave room for guessing what you are looking for.

We hired Earla to assist with day of coordination for our reception at Five Fillies Farm. I was pretty organized and handled many details on my own, but Earla would check in monthly with a list of tasks I should be working on, this was helpful to make sure I was on track. We mainly needed Earla's assistance with ensuring the reception moved along on time, and the vendors were setup and ready when need be. Earla did have 2 additional staff which was helpful. I feel Earla and her staff did a nice job. I was hesitate with hiring a coordinator because they often get a reputation of being very pushy, Earla was for the most part the right amount of pushy, she kept things moving when they needed to, but knew when to back off. Earla and her team helped to take some of the day of pressure off. If your considering a coordinator I say go for it, it's less you have to think about or put on family or friends shoulders on your big day.

Didn’t seem to be quite ready to go with plan B when plan A fell through (had to move an outdoor wedding inside). Even though we talked about it and went over it the night before. Caused stress to the bride and groom that wasn’t necessary. Also kept asking me, the bride, questions that she should've been able to figure out without bothering me about things. Which is what we were told would happen, ‘the problems would be handled before you even know they are problems’, but that wasn’t entirely true with our experience.

Earla made things happen that I could not accomplish and helped make the day wonderful. However, her personal remarks concerning the relationship between bride and groom and her questioning the bridegrooms parents about their employment was totally out of line and really none of her concern. It caused us great embarrassment and we forced to apologize on her behalf.

Mixed Feelings

I still don’t quite know how I feel about Earla.

We talked on the phone a couple of times before my wedding (maybe 5), and I felt great after each session. She wasn’t the easiest to schedule with, for example : we scheduled then she texted me later to say “an associate was texting for her while she was driving and she needed to reschedule”, she was late a couple of times, things like that.

We had verbally discussed what I was looking for help with and she kept saying “just send me a specific list of tasks when you know what you need.” Even after me verbally sharing everything that I needed she told me that my list would be a $200+ upcharge because “she doesn’t help set up.” It was my understanding that day-of coordinators do help set up, but Earla wanted to upcharge for basic set up tasks. She did drop her price down to the starting price ($875) when we complained and brought up that we had only received 1 (out of 10 promised) consult and prep hours. She then refunded me part of the deposit instead of just billing the remainder? Then told me I was completely paid (not true, I owed her money). I corrected her twice before just sending her the correct amount.

I also was frustrated that she repeatedly asked for information that I had already given her (venue contact, my sibling’s email, etc)., kept forgetting details (like the fact that I didn’t have a bridal party, which she kept in the quote even though I corrected it multiple times), and didn’t reach out to my vendors the week before (as she had promised to do).

She was great during the rehearsal, but we had a few issues day-of. Some of our friends and family felt like she was rude, she disappeared after the ceremony (instead of dismissing tables as discussed), and most importantly a priceless handmade runner went missing under her care. When asked about it she offered multiple stories (a new one each time I pointed out that hers wasn’t possible). For example “I gave it to your mom” - my mom wasn’t there. Then it was “I gave it to your groom’s mom” -also not there. “I left it at the ceremony space” -no one saw it. “I had it in my van and moved it to the accommodations” 5 stories later and the runner was still missing, until the friend who made it reached out to let me know she had found it on the ground outside with the other ceremony decorations (that Earla had moved).

Torn on how to feel

When I hired Earla, I was so very excited about her. She was enthusiastic and our personalities meshed well. I heard from her frequently and was so glad to choose her to be a part of our day. Keep in mind that I hired her as a day of coordinator and her responsibilities included putting together a timeline and communicating it to vendors as well as the typical day of duties. As I had begun to hear from vendors and gather information, I’d send it to Earla (if it was relevant) to her job. After not hearing back from her about timeline questions I had, my photographer and i had made our own so we were able to communicate it to relevant parties (other vendors, the wedding party, etc). During the day of our wedding Earla and her assistant were helpful early in the day with set up and such. As the day went on, I began to hear complaints from my (very cooperative and supportive) wedding party that Earla was mean and stressful, and I had begun to feel that way myself. The most upsetting moment for me was a condescending and aggressive comment made by Earla about my maid of honor not rehearsing how to bustle my dress. I am a long distance bride (planned my wedding from 10 hours away) and didn’t see my maid of honor until the night before my wedding because of this. I was hurt by this comment and by the way she was treating the rest of my wedding party and vendors. I had also come to find out that Earla made up a timeline and sent it to our photographer at 4:30pm the day before the wedding and then was trying to bully the photographer about sticking to the timeline. If you have lackluster vendors and need a bulldog to push people around, I would recommend Earla. If you have excellent vendors like I did, i would not recommend hiring her at all. I am disappointed to say the very least.
