We used Eddie Deen's for our wedding reception. I was amazed at the quality of service and food! I really wanted breakfast for dinner as the meal at our wedding and they made it happen! They did chicken and waffles, a muffin bar, multiple breakfast meats, and delicious potatoes. All the food was delicious! They also brought a beautiful set up to serve the food! They were fast to respond, eay to work with, and very flexible as changes needed to happen. Everything was perfect and I would definitely recommend working with them for your wedding or event! -

You want someone you can trust and make your day so special beyond your imagination! Candace Williams is amazing! Candace is the wedding and Event Specialist at Edison's who takes any fears and concerns for your wedding and turns it into something magical. Along with Norman Stoker, Facility Manager at Edison's, I love these two people to the moon and back! The entire team at Edison's is wonderful and the food (especially the brisket) is the best in the world! I HIGHLY recommend Edison's. -

Edison's was the perfect location for our wedding! They provided everything that we needed to make our day special at a very affordable price. Candace Williams was absolutely perfect to work with. She responded to emails, phone calls, anything that I needed she made sure that we had everything we wanted to make our day special. Even when President Obama was downtown and prevented us from having our rehearsal at the venue, she came to where we were at my husband's Church to help us with our rehearsal. She made the experience even better and of course the venue was beautiful! My guests absolutely loved the ambiance of our wedding and the theme and how it all flowed together perfectly. The talk of the night was the food! Everyone raved about how it was the best wedding dinner they had ever eaten. We are still being asked about the catering! If I have another major event, Edison's will definitely always be an option! Thanks again Candace!

Eddie Deen was the catering company that provided the food for my wedding at Wisteria Place in Mesquite, Texas. Dinner was served buffet-style, was kept hot, and the food was delicious. The chicken parmesan was juicy and the lasagna didn't fall apart. The servers were very professional; all in all it was a great experience. -

Edison's was an amazing venue - large enough to hold all of the guests with plenty of space to dance and eat. We had our ceremony and reception at Edison's which was the best decision. On top of the venue, Candace was AMAZING! She answered all of my questions in a very timely manner, and was so helpful with any decisions that I needed to make. THIS IS MY 8TH YEAR AND I AM NEVER DISAPPOINTED. CAROLYN AND HER STAFF COME IN, SET UP AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. I RECEIVED COMMENTS FROM SOME OF NEW TENANTS THAT SAID THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN A BETTER LUNCHEON . MY LONG TERM TENANTS TELL ME TO NEVER CHANGE THE VENUE. FOOD, CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVERYTHING. If you are looking for a great space for a great price, look at Edison's. Candace was an absolute pro and we were really blown away when the big day came by how well everything came together. Every contact we had with Edison's or Eddie Deen's personnel was courteous and professional. My husband and I had some problems with our first venue and when we looked back at our experience with the first compared with Edison's, we were quickly grateful to have been able to make the change.
Some things that we thought were stand-out:
- The dance floor is 2 or 3 times bigger than most - basically 3 average sized floors in a row
- A lot of the things you might pay for in another venue are included - uplighting, linen choices, lounge furniture
- The space is flexible for different wedding sizes - not too large for smaller weddings - we had 80 and it was really perfect, but could have fit twice that
- The ceremony space works great if you want ceremony & reception in the same venue - it can be flipped into lounge or buffet

They catered our wedding with good old fashion BBQ. I am so picky about my food. The food they cooked and catered was absolutely one of the best BBQ dinners I have ever had in my life! Everyone loved the food!!

We attended the Arizona state football tailgate and I had the delightful experience of meeting one of your employees miss patsy. I told her how fantastic I thought the food and experience was and how impressed we were that your company was providing everything for 3,0000+ people! After reading your webpage I see that you have hosted thousands more with ease, grace and flavor.
We were with a group of twelve and each one of us raved about the delicious BBQ brisket and your many tasty side dishes. We had a blast! Your servers and table wait staff were so friendly and accommodating. It was such a pleasure and we were all so impressed with the service.
I wish the outcome of the football game could have been as memorable an experience for all of the asu families and fans.
Thank you again for such a great taste of Texas. We loved everything!

I had an AMAZING wedding at Edison's! Shana was a great event coordinator. She responded to all of my e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner and she made sure everything went smoothly on the BIG day. The venue was gorgeous and the food was soooo delicious! Debron and Norman made sure we were satisfied. All of the staff at Edison's were so friendly. I am so glad my husband and I chose Edison's for our wedding. Everything was PERFECT!!! -

We knew Edison's was perfect for our wedding from the first tour! It is elegant, modern, and romantic. The food was amazing and the staff so helpful! Shana helped me tremendously throughout the wedding process and on the day of I did not worry about anything having to be set up or in its place. This venue made our wedding vision come true. It was a perfect day at a perfect venue! Highly recommend. -

The venue was fantastic and we got a lot of compliments from our guest. Edison’s atmosphere has such a wonderful charm that hardly any additional decor is needed. The set up was elegant and the food was delicious. It was great having the catering, tables, chairs, linens, lighting, and the bar all at one place. It was less stressful and with everything included it felt like we got a great deal for the price. Shana was a pleasure to work with and had such a positive attitude. She was flexible, paid attention to details, professional, and was always quick to respond. She made the process easy and we never felt like we were inconveniencing her with our questions or changes. Overall, we loved it and felt lucky to found such a hidden treasure. -

Shana was amazing!! She took care of everything even some things that I didn't have to ask her for. The venue is beautiful and my daughters wedding reception was all we could have asked for and more. We had more guests than we thought show up and shana took care of it quickly with more tables and food!! I would highly recommend this facility and ms Shana Fluker to anyone!! Edison's was a pleasure to work with. They responded promptly to my concerns and needs. This venue has the total package and charm. I think it’s one of the best kept secrets in our area.
Sales coordinator, Shana, and floor manager, Norman, were helpful in any way they could. Both of them are knowledgeable, resourceful, and friendly and they got the job done.
I would also like to add that Edison’s wait staff was professional as well. This venue is a must see, and total package for any bride and groom or someone having a special event. I would highly recommend this place to others looking for venue in Downtown Dallas.
I am looking to bring more clients to this venue in the near future.

Lauren and Norman for really great to work with. Lauren helped in planning the event and helping plan a fabulous menu. The food was outstanding and everyone talked about how delicious it was. Norman was in charge the day and night of the wedding and he went above and beyond my expectations. Everything was beautiful and ready on time. The staff helped in anyway possible and always with a smile. My daughter's wedding was fabulous and we are so thankful to Edison's and their staff for a job well done. I would highly recommend Edison's to any future bride. -

Love, Love, Love Edison's Dallas. We had our February 11th ceremony and reception here. Not only is the venue gorgeous, the staff at Edison's is beyond accomodating. We booked the entire venue for our wedding, and it was perfect! The only somewhat negative thing I have to say is that we didn't have a food tasting before the wedding so we had no idea what the food tasted like. Definitely would recommend this venue to everyone, and already have! Thanks Edison's Dallas Staff!

I am SO happy that I had my wedding at Edison's. From the day I first e-mailed Lauren to ask her about pricing and availability, she was so friendly and always replied to my emails the following day, if not the same day. Throughout those months of planning, she was always so great answering all my questions. She is very detail-oriented and professional. At first I thought the cost of the venue would be too pricey for me, since I was on a somewhat tight budget, but they were willing to work with me on the price. We went with their heavy hors d'oeuvres menu, and they were pretty good. Plenty of food for all of our guests. For me, I thought the food itself wasn't the best thing about Edison's, it was more so the overall atmosphere. So many people came up to me at the wedding and commented specifically on what a cool venue it was. It was so perfect, because I knew all along that I wanted a modern, urban feel. EVERYWHERE else I looked (and I looked at tons of places in the DFW area) would mean lots of DIY decoration, which would have cost a lot of extra money, stress, and effort. The lighting and feel of the place has that already without having to decorate hardly at all. The staff did an amazing job at setting everything up and cleaning up at the end of the night. I also liked that it was downtown, but had a parking lot. Another place I had been considering would have required that guests park in a garage, and parking would cost us extra. At Edison's, that wasn't an issue. Thank you so much to Lauren, Brittany, Norman, and all the staff that helped make our wedding day perfect.

My memories of my wedding day are flawless and I owe that to the staff and wedding coordinators at Edison's. They were very helpful and great at answering my 500+ questions. They were also very quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns. I had so many complements on the wedding about how beautiful it was and how great the food was. The staff treated my guests great and Lauren and Brittany were so helpful getting everything taken care of the day of and made it where I nor my wedding party had to worry about anything the day of. We were also able to get ready in the building the day of and the staff was very hospitable checking on us serveral times throughout the day. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone based on the customer experience and quality I received. I was beyond impressed and satisfied! -

I held a fundraiser at Edison's this past week and it was amazing! Lauren, Brittney and their house manager, Norman are just incredible with which to work. They were accomodating, flexible and eager to make sure we were taken care of properly. They delivered on everthing promised. Having worked with them for almost nine months, I could not have asked for a better experience during the planning process and execution of the event. If you're looking for a venue, catering and staff that will not only make your planning a breeze, but will "wow" your clients and/or guests....call Lauren and Brittney. You'll be glad you did. -

Eddie Deen's is on the list of approved caterers at Hickory Street Annex (our wedding venue). We had tastings with several other caterers, but Eddie Deen's won hands down for the quality of their food and the price. The tasting was generous and we were able to try a lot of appetizers, meats, and sides. We were looking for laid back BBQ, but fancier ;) We decided on a menu of passed appetizers of bacon wrapped jalapenos and crostini with spinach artichoke dip and dinner of beef brisket, smoked chicken (both with BBQ sauce), loaded mashed potatoes, pinto beans, and rolls. The food really exceeded our expectations at the wedding! It was even better than the tasting and our guests were RAVING all night that it was the best brisket they'd ever had! The staff was super courteous and we were brought two huge plates of food during dinner. The linens, buffet, and table settings looked fantastic. We were even sent home that night with leftovers and cinnamon rolls for breakfast the next morning (or a late night snack in our case!). We worked with wedding/event specialist Shana Fluker and she was really helpful, professional, and available. She answered all my emails and questions with no problems. The contract and prices seemed very reasonable especially compared to some of the other caterers that were talked to. I would definitely recommend them! -

Shanna Fluker and Norman you both ROCK! 100% of the staff were very professional and well trained. Dallas Drapery did the "NO SHOW" I I would not recomend anyone every book them, Shanna and Norman did a better JOB than they could have done, so Brides beware, don't waste your money on draping. Our cake was UGH, but Eddison did not have anything to do with them the "The ICING" in Red Oak - don't waste your caske was awfull and not what we asked for!

Everyone at my mother's memorial was astounded at how tender the BBQ brisket was and how flavorful the chicken was. The potato salad, beans and cole slaw were perfect. This meal was a fabulous ending to a wonderful send off for Mom - she would have loved it! -

You should definitely book Edison's for your wedding venue!! They are very helpful and well run. Beautiful interior with exposed brick and duct work (not gaudy duct work though). Their AV specialists made the interior look great with lighting and my slideshow ran perfectly. The food was amazing. My guests told me it was some of the best wedding food they have ever eaten. Candace Williams was my coordinator and she is awesome! She made extensive notes and sent many versions of my quote/bill with every update I wanted listed out. She was incredible on the fly also when I forgot to add the bridal party dates to the head table (oops!). I asked her if we could add chairs and she made it happen. And this was RIGHT after our ceremony. Such flexibility too, want to meet on a Friday and spend 2 hours going over every detail? Done. Want to come over early on a Saturday and take pictures of the interior? Done. This place is just amazing. My day went perfectly and I couldn't imagine a better place to have had my wedding. Put Edison's on your short list of wedding venues, you will not be disappointed and I highly recommend Candace! -

We loved Edison's from the moment we saw it! Beautiful venue and a GREAT value for the price. It was wonderful to have the food, lighting, and bar all done in one place- much less stress on our plate! My only concern was the turnover in employees.... we went through 3 different coordinators in our 9 months of planning with them. Luckily our last coordinator, Shana, was an ANGEL! The day went off without a hitch because of her attention to detail. She really made it an enjoyable experience! -

The food was wonderful! We really wanted food that was familiar and they had it. They really can make up any menu you could think of. They also rought a lot of food. We used them for the reception and for the rehearsal dinner and both went beautifully. I highly recommend their services. -

We had an awesome wedding ceremony and reception here! I can't tell you how many people told me it was the best wedding they had ever been to! The food was great and there was plenty. Lauren really worked with us to get our menu just like we wanted. The only thing I will mention is when we first booked them there was a promise of new carpets and bridal and groom suites. I was a little disappointed this wasn't followed through with but we got to use one of the other rooms to get ready in and it was so dim in there I don't think anyone noticed the carpets. Just a minor thing but overall it was fabulous! -

The venue is amazing! Great lighting and modern design really makes it look chic and all my guests really loved the space. The waitstaff was really friendly and attentive which a big plus. The buffet was great, everyone loved it. The h'dourves were big hit!! The only thing my guests didn't like was that the fruit and cheese setup was taken up wayyyy to quick for them to enjoy, and a lot of fruit went to "waste" when it was paid for. (please ask to have it stay out longer-you are paying for it) Additional it did get a little to warm for my taste, however as soon as I spoke to the help it got taken care of. The staff and the whole venue vibe was amazing and if I were hosting another event it would definitely be at Edison, with a few minor changes. We pretty much knew Edison's was great when our friends were saying they would love to have they're wedding there. -

Britt was very helpful and worked very hard to provide the food quality we wanted while staying within our tight budget. The staff was dressed very nice and were very attentive to my husband & I - bringing us our plates etc. Many guests raved about the food. We went with a potato bar, pasta bar, carving station and passed appetizers. They also came through day of when we were short linens as we thought the venue was providing some. -

They have most of what you would need for set up available. Turn key for most everything you would need for an event is huge help for planning. Definitely will use them again. -

We used Eddie Deen's because we used their venue Edison's. The food was good, but not all of our guests got it! As the bride, I carried on blissfully unaware, but the next day, my mother told me about the snafu. I felt terrible that some of our guests left hungry. Unfortunately, it was too late.
When we called our coordinator, though, they were very apologetic. They made it right the best they could. -

The venue was great for the most part! My only complaint is that they originally told me we could have the rehearsal at 5:00, so I ordered and sent invitations and scheduled the rehearsal dinner all around that time. However, I found out a few days before the rehearsal that I had to have it at 3:00. It was a huge deal, I was just frustrated with the lack of professionalism; they should have informed me much earlier about this change. -

The food was really great! We did have some issues with running out of food, though. They were welcoming to work with, but a little pushy in not working with us well to get what we really wanted. They were often hard to get in contact with and did not quickly return phone calls. They worked with us on the price, but that was after a very high initial estimate. I'm not sure if I would actually tell someone else to use them. The food was really great, but we had enough other issues to make me a little cautious. -

We had our reception at Edison's and the venue itself is gorgeous. However,the quality of service we received from the wedding specialist was poor. My wedding specialist agreed to decorate the ballroom; however the centerpieces were horrible; it looked like the flowers were jammed into the vases with no care. I didn't have time to redo all the centerpieces so I just had to keep as is. The venue "ran" out of drinking glasses for my guests and brought out plastic cups (very tacky). The bar ran out of beer more than once. The bar was not stocked to our specifications which was a huge let down. The venue is a beautiful place; however the bad service is a huge disappointment. I was following Edison's on Facebook and I read how involved the specialist was with the other brides and wondered why she was not as helpful with my wedding. -

They never returned phone calls, emails or texts. They went way over budget and did not have enough food for the event! They were unprofessional, and had no idea what they were doing. They struggled through the entire event. My CEO was so upset and has made a point to tell everyone in the corporate world not to make the same mistake as we did by using this company! -

Be very careful of this cateror, as he has major issues paying the people that work for him. He may have spent a lot of money in the past doing good deads for those who need it, he did it at the cost to his own business and now refuses to pay for services that were done. Just be careful -
