If I could give Dylan 1,000/5 stars, I would! He was consultative, prompt, kind, and took some of the best photos I've ever seen in my life. Every photo of my new husband and me belong on the cover of a magazine! I could not be happier with the beautiful photos; the moment was so perfectly captured. My best friend who attended the shoot told me that if she wasn't locked in to her existing contract, she would hire Dylan in an instant. Book him for your wedding, seriously!! -

We booked engagement photos by the beach. Dylan’s confidence & input helped us relax to create professional, candid photos. He gave insight to vendors & wedding business tips as we navigated a change in venue months before our date. The rates were reasonable & completely worth the value. His colleague Hugo provided amazing second perspective photos during our wedding. Dylan & Hugo captured all the perspectives we desired & had time to be creative artists as the light changed. We can't speak highly enough of Dylan (and Rachel)! Dylan did our engagement photos and just did our wedding this past weekend. Not only are the photos from our engagement session and the sneak peeks from our wedding everything we could have wanted and more, but working with Dylan was an amazing experience. He has a lot of expertise in spots at different venues, vendor recommendations, feedback on day of timelines, etc. Dylan gives lots of direction for poses and made us feel comfortable and confident. He kept us on task the day of our wedding. We didn't have a day of coordinator and honestly didn't feel like we needed one with how organized he was. You really can't pick a better photographer! -

We booked Dylan for our engagement and wedding photos and we cannot recommend him enough. He is exceptionally talented, an expert at what he does, and is truly a one of a kind photographer. His photos are absolutely breathtaking. We had less than ideal weather for our engagement shoot and he was still able to capture amazing photos for us. We had the pleasure of meeting his wife, Rachel, who was also the second photographer at our wedding. They were both so kind and pleasant to work with and our photos were STUNNING!!! Everything I wanted
Initially our wedding was going to be in Las Vegas, then my husband and I decided to have our wedding in Paso Robles, CA. I searched countless hours to find the perfect photographer and one day I came across Dylan Kyle Photography instagram page. I instantly fell in love with his photos, showed my husband, and we knew we needed him to be our photographer for our wedding day. Then our special day arrived and so did our photographer. I decided to have two photographers instead and that was the best decision I could have made. On the day of our wedding both bride and groom we’re under the weather. Dylan made sure we took our sunset photos as planned and refused to let the bride and groom miss out on any photo opportunities. During and after our wedding our guest complemented on our photographers and their attentiveness. The big day came and we received our photos from Dylan. I was lost for words and filled with emotions. I was able to relive my wedding day once again and forever will be when ever I look at our photos. Like every bride and groom we were not able to be everywhere at all times, but our photographers were. They captured moments we missed. Im very blessed that Dylan Kyle Photography not only went above and beyond with my expectations but also provided our wedding guests with great memories. We look forward working with Dylan Kyle Photography in the future and for all of our family events. Thank you Dylan for your amazing work, and loving what you do. My husband and I were searching for photographers for our wedding and when we came across Dylan Kyle's photos we knew that we wanted him to do our wedding photos. Our wedding was a dream and he was a dream to work with. Gorgeous Photos & Amazing Photographer!!
I hired Dylan for my wedding on October 8th, 2022 and if I could only use one word to describe Dylan and his work, it would be… Phenomenal! From day one he was quick to respond, professional and so fun to work with! Leading up to the wedding, he was super helpful with any questions I had about the timeline or what to expect. The day of the wedding, he was on time and everything ran so smoothly that I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing! He definitely knows what he is doing and caught everything in his photos that I didn’t want to miss and more. When I received my photos after only two months, every detail and guest was captured in such a beautiful way. It was so special to relive the big day all over again through his amazing work. A fond memory I will always have was when Dylan and his second shooter (Patrick) were capturing our sunset photos at the end of the day. We had so much fun with them and we were all making so many jokes. I believe that is what made those photos so much more fun and special to me, not to mention gorgeous too! Thank you Dylan for being apart of our special day and for capturing all of the most beautiful memories of our wedding! -

Dylan’s photos absolutely speak for themselves. Planning a wedding out of the area, I had to resort to mostly social media/online research when booking vendors and all of Dylan’s work was a far standout from the rest. He took did my husband and I’s engagement and wedding photos, and I have never received so many compliments! He is very straightforward and addressed all of my priorities and concerns. Dylan captured exactly what we needed and I couldn’t be more grateful. -

Absolute Perfection!
Dylan was absolutely phenomenal to work with! We had a small backyard wedding under a giant oak tree, and really wanted to incorporate that into both our engagement and wedding photos. Dylan is able to capture not only fabulous wedding photos, but also capture the beauty of the surrounding landscape. For both our engagement and wedding photos, he created stunning photos that played tribute to the meaning of the oak tree for us, and we will cherish them for a lifetime. Dylan is confident in what he does. He is friendly and professional. He had the entire wedding party relaxed when it came time for photos. I received 850 photos and there is not one bad photo. I am blown away. He captured my entire day from beginning to end. He included all the details for our romantic photos like the first look and sunset photos. He included the bay, the rock, the boats, meadow and eucalyptus trees. Even all the motion pictures at the reception are amazing! Morro Bay is significant place to us and captured all of it's beauty! I am so happy we went with Dylan. We will be booking him in the future for more photo shoots. I highly recommend. -

Dylan was absolutely amazing to work with and his photos are beyond beautiful. Planning a wedding in California while living in Chicago can be a bit daunting, especially during a pandemic, but Dylan was amazing to work with and I had no worries that our photos would be fantastic. The main reason we picked a winery to get married at during sunset was the awesome landscape and because of Dylan's background he captured everything and more. But beyond that he was so easy to work with, and was able to get my non-smiling father smile for a picture! Not an easy task! If you want some truly amazing photos for your wedding, hire Dylan immediately! We hired Dylan for both our engagement and wedding pictures. When I was researching photographers, I really wanted someone who could capture the beauty of the surrounding landscape as well as some great wedding photos. Dylan is exactly that person. Because he started off doing landscape photography, he is able to incorporate that experience to create some epic wedding pictures. My best description of it would be this: have you ever tried to take a picture of a gorgeous sunset/coastline and think "Man, this isn't as beautiful or cool on my phone as is it in person."? Well Dylan can bring that intensity to your picture and everyone can see just how amazing it really is. On top of that, Dylan is a very easy person to work with, and if you are an introvert and mellow people like myself and my husband are, you know how important that is. We hope to hire Dylan for future projects because we know it will be worth every penny and his work just keeps getting better and better! -

Absolutely Amazing
When I first saw Dylan’s work, I was astounded and overwhelmed by the color and beauty that he captures in his photography. I knew he had to be our wedding photographer. Dylan made the whole process easy and fun. Neither my husband or I, feel very comfortable in front of the camera but Dylan was able to guide and pose us effortlessly. We hired Dylan for our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we are thrilled with how they both turned out. He has a real talent for landscape photography, but also pays great attention to detail. We had a very unstructured wedding, a small ceremony on a hiking trail, and hadn’t given Dylan much instruction. He showed up for us, jumped right in there and took charge to make sure we got some special shots that we will be able to look back on and remember forever. We really appreciated his flexibility when working with us. Our family enjoyed working with him as well. We cannot recommend Dylan enough for any of your photography needs! -

Dylan is a fantastic photographer and my wife and I whole-heartedly recommend him for your wedding. We hired Dylan, pre-Covid for our wedding at Spanish Oaks Ranch in Santa Margarita, and despite having to postpone and reschedule, he was communicative and supportive throughout the whole process. He worked with us, and the rest of our vendors to make sure everything was lined up and ready for our celebration. Even though we had poor weather for our engagement photo session, Dylan was able to not only put together some fantastic shots, but really made us feel at ease and worked with us to create some very memorable images. Our wedding was no different. He and his assistant made sure all the shots we wanted were captured and did an amazing job of keeping us on schedule. Our "Golden Hour" sunset photos turned out perfectly, and we really appreciated Dylan's background in Landscape photography because you can really see he has an eye for the whole composition.
In summary, Dylan is communicative, thorough, and skilled. At no point did we have to worry about anything, and that's a huge bonus on a day where there is so much to think about. Five stars. Whole-heartedly recommend. Thanks Dylan! -

Incredible experience!
Dylan was so amazing to work with! We booked him for our wedding and engagement photos and were so happy we did so. He exceeded all our expectations! We met him for the first time during our engagement photos and he made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and gave us great tips to pose and look natural. He also has a lot of great recommendations of places or backgrounds that are perfect for professional photos. 2019 was hard for wedding planning due to COVID, but Dylan worked alongside us every step of the way. When it came to our wedding day, the pictures turned out stunning! But again, he made us feel so comfortable and I really appreciated how he managed to calmly wrangle around my difficult family to capture all the perfect moments that we wanted. He also helped keep us on time without rushing us - to ensure we captured everything. He truly cares about each one his clients and is someone I would recommend over and over again. I can’t wait to continue working with Dylan for the years to come beyond our wedding. -

Dylan was one of our favorite decisions we made for our wedding! First off, his eye for photography is, of course, amazing; as you can see in these gorgeous photos! One of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding was hiring Dylan. At the end of the day when it's all said and done, all that's left are your memories and the pictures. I will spend the rest of my life loving our pictures. I can't stop looking at them. He captures every moment perfectly. The light and colors in each picture are stunning, and each picture is delicate and beautiful. Not only are his pictures fabulous, Dylan is a pleasure to work with. Dylan is amazing and you should hire him!!
Like many couples in 2020, my husband and I had to change our plans due to the pandemic. We decided to be safe and do an intimate elopement in Morro Bay. It was a pretty informal event but you wouldn't know that with how the pictures came out! I am so happy we decided to hire Dylan!
Dylan was so helpful from the very first phone call. I could tell he knew what he was doing by the way he recommended spots in Morro Bay and talked about details that my husband and I didn't think about. He is the type of person that’s really easy to talk to. We felt pretty comfortable with him.
When our wedding day came, Dylan was so fun to work with! He is really funny. He got so many pictures of our families, both candid and posed. He was attentive to detail! He made sure heads and hands weren’t place awkwardly. When it was time to do bride and groom photos, I felt SO comfortable (I am that person who doesn’t like to take photos). But the best thing about Dylan’s talent is his ability to capture people and the landscape together. I wish I had better words to describe how our photos came out… They are just beautiful. He is such a talented photographer.
He captured one of the most important days of my life and I will be forever grateful. -

Absolutely Amazing!!
What a year it has been!! I never in my wildest dreams would have expected a pandemic to occur and the world to shut down but that’s exactly what happen! Dylan Kyle was absolutely SPECTACULAR! We booked Dylan last October before COVID was even a thing! As the months progressed, all of our wedding plans began to crumble and we were even forced to change venue weeks before the wedding. We were determined to still get married, whatever that day looked like, and Dylan was on board and so supportive! We are from AZ and planning our SLO destination wedding during COVID was definitely stressful, but Dylan helped in every way he possibly could to decrease that stress- he even helped find me an MUA! Our photos turned out so beautiful! (Chefs KISS)! He was flexible, professional, funny and extremely detailed! He literally thought of everything and even tried some cool experimental shots which made our day look even more like a fairytale! We couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out! Dylan took my wedding photos and he did an amazing job. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with, and worked with us when our wedding plans changed because of coronavirus. He took soo many amazing pictures that we cant even chose which ones to print out because they are all great. He captured every part of the wedding we asked for and did a great job editing them, especially considering the weather/skies were not what we were hoping for on our wedding day, but you cant even tell. Any bride who has planned/ or is currently planning a wedding during Covid knows the stress and uncertainty can sometimes be overwhelming beyond belief. Dylan was there for us every step of the way. Every couple would be lucky to have Dylan as a photographer. Not only is he an amazing photographer, he was incredibly flexible with all of our planning and rearranging locations, dates, times, etc. At one point during my wedding he even took the reins as part wedding coordinator and made sure everyone was being directed to the correct spots! It was so amazing to know we could rely on Dylan! He's also very very good at capturing the best moments. I will cherish these photos forever. Our wedding may not have turned out how we originally planned, but I believe it turned out even better than we could have imagined. Thanks to Dylan's work (and non photographer related help on the big day!) these pictures show proof of that. I excited for Dylan to be our photographer for many years to come. -

It took me a while to pick a photographer! Because I knew Dylan before, when he photographed beautiful outdoor landscapes, I knew he would be a great photographer who understands lighting for our outside wedding. This was very important to me when searching through all the options of photographers and not knowing exactly their level of experience. Not only were the outdoor pictures stunning that he took of our wedding, but so were the indoor at night!!! I was pleasantly surprised that even though we chose for him to work alone, he was able to capture so many different angles of our ceremony!
The pictures represent his wonderful eye for beautiful backdrops, creative angles and precious moments we will cherish forever. Did I mention he had us laughing and relaxed, having a blast?? 😜. Santa Barbara Wedding
Dylan did such an excellent job on our wedding photos at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. He arrived at our air bnb on-time and was ready to get started shooting candids of our family and kids. We had a very small wedding, so he took the time to make sure he took photos of everyone who was there as he waited for us to get ready for our first look.
His experience in landscape photography is what originally caught my attention. He used his experience in that genre to capture the unique beauty at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. I couldn't be more thrilled with the photos we received. We had a fun time shooting, it was natural and easy going. A true pro- highly recommend! -

Wow wow wow! Cannot say enough nice things about Dylan. He is extremely talented, and creative, as well as an overall awesome person. I feel he genuinely listened to what we wanted, and delivered exceptional photos for both our wedding and engagement. So glad we took a chance!
We are so happy we had Dylan take our wedding photos! My husband and I have been together almost 16 years, since we were teenagers. We just wanted a relaxing/intimate day with our closest family and friends, to celebrate with us. We booked Dylan about a year before our backyard wedding. I found him on Yelp and instantly fell in love with his work. He was mainly doing family shots, not too many weddings, but I loved how vibrant they were, and that is what we were looking for. I started following him on social media and it was so neat to watch his work progress, as he was booking more and more weddings! He was really easy to work with, and very flexible! We ended up cutting stuff out of our reception last minute, like our first dance and cake cutting, and he just went with the flow. Our pictures turned out amazing, and we got a lot of great shots of our family and friends, that we will cherish forever! -

We saw Dylan's work online and really liked his creativity in bringing people and landscapes together. We booked him for our wedding and the package included a mini engagement session. Since we were only in town for the weekend, we arranged the session with Dylan on Saturday at sunset. There was lots of rain in the forecast, and Dylan was flexible enough to happily reschedule us for Sunday. Unfortunately, it continued to rain on Sunday, but Dylan was still willing to work with us that day. The photos came out perfect--nice and bright despite the weather! I would definitely recommend Dylan and can't wait for him to photograph our wedding next April! -

There is nothing like watching a old friend grow to find their true talent. That’s exactly what Dylan did. Not only is he professional but it is like hiring a relative to join you on your special day. We decided to have a small wedding in pacific grove and he was the first choice for photography. We definitely were not disappointed. He spent sometime with both my husband and I at separate times while we got ready. (Told my husband he could be a male model which to this day I don’t hear the end of lol). Then we drove to the venue where he stayed and stole us away after for all the photos a bride dreams of. Thanks again Dylan. I’m so happy to be able to watch your incredible journey and proud to call you a friend. -

We honestly cannot remember how we found Dylan, but very glad that we did! We hired him for a small, intimate wedding in the SLO area. We highly recommend him! We loved the photos and he’s a great photographer!
We didn’t have a lot of time to plan for our wedding and we were so glad Dylan was available on our wedding date. We planned the wedding ourselves and he made wedding planning so much easier for us since we knew we hired a great photographer. He was very attentive to how we wanted our photos to look and we made sure he’d capture great moments during the ceremony and reception.
Fee:
Very reasonable and a very great deal! He accepted payment via Venmo since we lived far. I’m sure he takes other forms of payment.
On the day of:
He came on time, dressed appropriately and he was on top of it. He worked very well with the videographer too.
The best part:
The photos were available earlier than expected and we loved all of them!!!
I’ll be frank for a minute, for the brides: girl, he will make you look like a walking angel on you’re photos!!! I kid you not!! His editing skills are really good! He made me look like I lost inches in the right places (despite my attempts to dieting) and made me look naturally flawless. I’m making it sound like the wedding is all about the bride (it is, just kidding) but brides, you should really consider him!!!
He was able to capture photos that would make us relive the moments! When We showed our family and friends the photos, everyone couldn’t stop smiling. Thats what we wanted, to look at the photos and smile as we remember how fun it was. Zero complaints from us at all. The photos, honestly, exceeded our expectations!
We wanted digital copies of the photos only, but we think he offers tangible photos too. The files are huge, and great have great quality. We were able to print great quality photos for our album!

Incredible Shots, Wide-Range of Scenes
Dylan is an incredible photographer, and we couldn't be happier with the way our photos turned out! We initially were drawn to his ability to incorporate beautiful landscapes into traditional wedding photos, but were thrilled to see the range of scenes he was able to capture during our wedding. Bright beach house, dimly lit church, gardens, vineyards, golden hours, and the dance floor, Dylan captured memorable shots from every scene, from small details, to stunning, magazine-worthy perspectives.
