One ocean made every dream come true, even after we had to reschedule a whole year due to COVID. Sarah, Toni, and the rest of the event staff are true professionals at what they do, and became like family to us! We were sad to no longer have a reason to see them anymore. They helped create our perfect day, and I would recommend getting married at one ocean to anyone!

Megan and the entire staff at One Ocean were amazing from start to finish. As a bride to be, I had no clue where to start but I knew that I didn’t want to hire an actual wedding planner. Thanks to One Ocean and Megan, I didn’t have to do that! Megan set me up with lists all of the vendors I needed and helped me every step of the way. One Ocean has an amazing partnership with Mugwump Productions, who handled all of my decor and flowers... which was a huge help! They met me on site at one ocean and worked on my proposal so it fit exactly in my budget- I’m talking 10 changes and every single one was met with enthusiasm and kindness- exactly what a stressed out bride to be needs!! (The flowers were gorgeous, by the way!) I absolutely loved how much of the details were handled “in-house” which made our wedding seamless. Once our big day arrived- Megan was there all day for me and was so kind. She made me feel like a princess and a friend! My family and friends raved about the wonderful service they all received while staying and attending our wedding at One Ocean. Every single staff member, from the valet to the front desk to the bartenders- were above and beyond my expectations. There’s no better feeling as a bride to look back at your wedding day and not want to change a single thing. I would choose One Ocean all over again if I had the chance!

Megan and the team at One Ocean were AMAZING! My day wouldn’t have been perfect if I went anywhere else. I can honestly say that if you’re in the market for a wedding venue, One Ocean display e elegance and excellence in everything they do!

Our One Ocean wedding experience was totally awesome. The venue is beach glamorous. We did a brunch theme and the scenery is the fanciest around. Megan G. is incredible to work with and so accommodating. I highly recommend staying in a suite to get ready. Our guests loved the veranda ceremony with a modern strings band and ocean view. The food is phenomenal!!! Everyone loved the oysters, grouper, omelet station and most of the moist chocolate bundt. I went with fancy full bunches of blue orchids and that looked fantastic in the ballroom! If you want a day of luxury - have your wedding here. You will get incredible photos on the winding staircase as well! I have too many amazing things to fit in this description! Spend the money and you will never forget your day!

One Ocean Venue is where fairly tales happen. Staff is professional, efficient and seamless. The staff provided us with an experience we won't ever forget! The personalization and the finishing touches come with an AMAZING VALUE! Everything was PERFECT- from the location, to the set up, our guests are still talking about the food and drinks!

All I can say is this place is amazing all the way around! Thank you for making our wedding day and night one to remember. Awesome food, hotel service and the spa was amazing! Everything was great. Can’t wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary!!

Absolutely in love! Everything was beautiful, perfectly orchestrated, tasty, fun, and better than imagined! Sure the rooms were pricey but you get nothing but the best and It's so worth it! The staff was excellent and we loved it!

Oh and so much is included it's food&beverage, cake, venue for both ceremony and reception, place to stay, and a few other things, so much was included!

One Ocean Resort was exactly what my fiance and I were looking for when we pictured our wedding venue. Not only is it a beautiful resort, it has a stunning and easily accessible beach. We LOVED the staff there as well. They made our day incredibly special and it was better than I'd ever pictured it would be. Their working relationship with Luxe Party Rentals made it extremely easy to get all of the ceremony/reception extras we wanted for the big day. Everything turned out perfectly thanks to Sara-Kate, Robin (our wedding coordinator who was included in the package), Toni and Jasmine. Thank you ladies for making our day extremely special!

Honestly, the only place to get married in Jacksonville. Many of our guests said that this place set the standard and that the food was the best wedding food they'd ever had! We got married a month ago and our family and friends are still raving about it!
Jamie pretty much catered to our every whim and made sure everything was perfect! The pastry chef even did a custom cake (Croquembouche) for us instead of a usual wedding cake - we loved it! Somehow with the stormy weather that weekend we managed to have a beautiful outdoor wedding!
Also, Bartender was absolutely fantastic and the banquet manager made sure we had extra everything at the last minute. One Ocean staff are top notch all around!

We chose One Ocean Resort for our wedding reception on 10.01.2016. We could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. With half our wedding guests flying in from out of town (total guest count of about 100 people), it was very important to my husband & I to host our wedding in a location where we actually hang out and where there were luxury accommodations, great service, and beautiful views to enjoy. One Ocean provided all of these things; our guests were so pampered during our wedding and their entire stay in the Jacksonville area. Jamie McCarthy (the catering manager we worked with) became more like a friend during the planning process, she had great ideas and experience to help us make decisions and present options the Resort could accommodate. This relationship became critical in the overall execution of the big day, she tailored everything to our style and vision. All that said, One Ocean was on the higher end of our budget - we spent about $19K including tax and gratuity - but it was absolutely worth the price to have such a high quality experience, caring staff, and beautiful setting for the day. If you're debating because of price, I would suggest considering the experience you want for the day when making your decision. I would spend it all over again. One Ocean truly facilitated the best day of our lives :-)

My husband and I booked our wedding in Jacksonville before we knew we would be moving to Nashville for his work. I was very apprehensive about planning a wedding from out-of-state, but the One Ocean staff made me feel great about the decision. I was born and raised in Jacksonville Beach and knew that One Ocean would be a great place to get married, but I they truly went above and beyond my expectations and I now believe it is the best place at the beach, in Jacksonville, and the Southeast for that matter! For example, we had a farewell brunch for our guests on the Sunday following the marriage and very few people had RSVP’d. I made an estimate that 70 would attend and we had more like 95 (at least) come. One Ocean accommodated our guests by flawlessly bringing out more food, tables, and chairs. I didn’t even know they did so until after the brunch was over! They did so much for us (and so much I probably didn’t even realize they did) and we couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you, thank you, thank you! #wortheverypenny

Loving setting, fantastic service and extraordinary culinary delight. Our rehearsal dinner was at One Ocean. We had people come in from all over including Floridians, D. C., California, Colorado, Georgia, New York, Switzerland and Germany. Everyone was delighted with the accommodations, atmosphere, and food. Sarah Seibers is the best at venue coordination. We will be back!

One Ocean definitely exceeded all of my expectations! I had my ceremony overlooking the ocean with the perfect amount of shade for the guests...it could not have been more beautiful or romantic!! The weather was a little hotter than normal, so I held the reception inside and it turned out to be just the right size for mingling and a dance floor. The food was absolutely wonderful and Wayne, our "docent" was there to make sure that we were never without a drink.
I cannot say enough about Sarah Seibers, the catering manager. My every request and change was met with a solution and out of all of my vendors she was by far the most competent and pleasant to work with. I wouldn't have changed a thing about my wedding at One Ocean!

One Ocean is the best place to have a wedding. My wedding day was literally perfect. The staff is so helpful and on top of everything. The venue is absolutly beautiful, it's right on the beach, it's a great place for pictures. They have a lot of cool things going on inside the resort as well for pictures. Sarah was our catering manager and nothing was left out, she was really on top of it. The food was excellent, the cake was beautiful and just how I wanted it. It was seriously perfect. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

One Ocean is a beautiful location and working with Sarah (the catering coordinator) made it even better! She really listened to everything we wanted and made sure that it happened. The food was DIVINE (everyone has told us how much they loved it!) the cake was delicious and our Jaguars grooms cake turned out great. I know Sarah does this all the time, but she really makes you feel special when you are working with her.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about One Ocean Resort! EVERYONE loved this place! Sarah and Stephanie were so easy to work with and so extremely responsive. We had a minor issue with flowers on the day of the wedding and Stephanie took care of it in minutes. The food for our reception was UNBELIEVABLE. Seriously...everyone was talking about the grouper and the scalloped potatoes after the wedding. We are so happy with chose to have our wedding at One Ocean...it was beautiful and the staff is just incredible. We could not thank them enough. If I had to do it over again, I would still have my wedding at One Ocean. Thank you!

One Ocean was the absolute best place that anyone could ever have a wedding in Florida! From the minute we arrived, everyone was pleasant, professional, and extremely accommodating to every one of our needs. They made us feel very comfortable every step of the way. We were working and planning our wedding with them while working in Afghanistan and they created a stress-free wedding for me! Between Stephanie Seltzer (wedding coordinator) and Sarah Siebers (banquet coordinator), they helped to ensure everything went perfectly and not to mention I felt like I was the only bride on the face of the Earth who wasn't stressed about their wedding ;-) They had an excellent 'plan B' for the rainy weather, they were very detailed and ensured that everything went as planned. Also, I never met the chef due to being overseas, but I have to give him credit for excellent food and a beautiful wedding cake!! Working with Robin Camp and the entire staff at One Ocean was a terrific experience. Our wedding was a wonderful experience to remember because of One Ocean.

We started out with a vision of our dream wedding, which didn't look much like a wedding at all. I wanted a short but sweet ceremony followed by a great party. One Ocean was able to provide a beautiful space on the outside Verandina that fit 100 guests perfectly. It was a great choice to do the ceremony and reception all in one space (no travel required). We chose an open bar and passed food (instead of a sit down dinner) and had 100 happy guests. The space was set up like a cocktail lounge and only needed a few small floral arrangements and tons of candles (huge savings). The staff was wonderful and the food and beverage was worth every penny. Also a million wonderful places for great photo ops.

The venue is breathtakingly gorgeous. The staff is impeccable, treating each guests like royalty from the moment they open your car door to the moment they bid you farewell. Robin Camp is the most wonderful Catering Sales Manager you could possibly ask for. She was our greatest asset, making sure everything was taken care of from the pre-planning to our last dance. This would not be a complete and accurate statement without commenting on the Chef whose presentation of our dinner was as impressive as the taste itself. I can not close without saying that the pastry chef worked magic on our cake.
The entire experience was simply perfect. I’d like for us to renew our vows annually…same time, same place, every year!

Robin was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Words can not express the joy and deep appreciation me and my new husband have for Robin and One Ocean's services. If you are getting married and considering using these services do not look any further. I am so serious you, your future spouse, family and friends will all be so pleased on this special day. I had 3 months to my wedding when my new husband and I changed our venue from the DC metro area to my hometown in Jacksonville Fl and from the 1st time I emailed Robin she was readily available. I can go on and on but the only sad part is that the wedding is over and I will not talk to Robin nearly everyday anymore. But please understand that you will never ever ever regret your decision to have your special event at One Ocean with the help of Robin Camp.

Our experience at One Ocean Resort Hotel and Spa was wonderful. They were very accomodating and willing to work with our budget. We put a wedding together there in 2 weeks. It came out beautiful. It was everything I could have asked for. They were very professional and helpful with the planning. We had a wonderful menu prepared for us and everyone was impressed with the quality of food and service. I would highly recommend using One Ocean Resort Hotel and Spa for any special occasion.

They did whatever I wanted. The day of the ceremony my bridesmaids demanded that they wash the windows in the room where my reception was and they happily complied. They also dusted and made sure everything was perfect.

My bridesmaids and my Mother went into the room ahead of time and made whatever changes they wanted (all they did was add rose petals to the tables).

Fred was my planner and he was very helpful.

We didn't eat that much because we were busy socializing, but what we did have was awesome and the feedback from our guests was great too.

I had a wonderful experience with One Ocean Resort! We had our destination wedding there in June 2011. It was difficult to plan a wedding in Florida from Texas, but Robin and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. All of the details were settled by the time we arrived and we were able to enjoy a few relaxing days before the wedding. On our wedding day, the weather was shaky, so we were given the option to use an inside room in the event it rained. The ceremony went off without a hitch (outside!) and the reception was lovely. The food and cake were awesome and well worth the price. Everything went wonderfully and exactly the way I envisioned! I highly recommend One Ocean to brides looking for a low stress, beautiful location for their beach wedding!

One Ocean and their staff were absolutely amazing on my wedding day. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and was set up beautifully. They made my customized chocolate wedding favors and my wedding cake was stunning. Simply the best experience I've ever had.

We had both our ceremony and a pre-ceremony reception at One Ocean. Sara and her team did an amazing job. From the catering to the set up all aspects were outstanding. The team moved moved the chairs for the ceremony several times as we dodged pre-event rain. The team also worked extremely well with my very exacting event coordinator and her decor team. Every person at One Ocean put their heart and soul into making my event the very best. I highly reccomend this venue.

We couldn't be happier with the service from One Ocean Resort. The food was absolutely fantastic, from the hors d'houvres, to dinner, to wedding cake... it was all a "10." Our guests enjoyed the venue of One Ocean and Atlantic Beach as well. We made the mistake of hiring a private wedding coordinator who fell far short of our expectations, and we owe a special thanks to Robin Camp who was very helpful/professional, and clearly went above and beyond to fill the void. Overall, the venue exceeded our loftiest expectations.

Robin and her team did a wonderful job for our reception. The dinner was delicious, staff courteous and attentive and the setting was beautiful.

One Ocean is hands down the best place for a beach wedding in the Jax/Neptune/Atlantic Beach area. The food is by far better than any caterer you'll find (believe me I did the leg work on this one).

We did a day wedding with a brunch reception and it was literally picture perfect. We didn't need a DJ given the format being during the day and it was still super fun! I was concerned it would be too casual given it's a buffet but all of our guests thought the food was delicious, including the cake which was gorgeous.

Rachel helped us coordinate everything and she could not have been better. Living out of state, that was valuable. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgable; she was respectful of our budget and helped brainstorm ways to add those little touches that make your wedding yours. She was doing things I didn't even know about that made it a magical day! She's sharp and smart and will get things done.

I have all good things to say about this place!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! It was beautifully decorated and went perfect with my cream/aqua wedding theme. The food and service was awesome and every staff member was extremely accommodating and professional. My only issue is that during the payment process, I had several payments to make and in the end, the person I did business with tried to add in hidden fees that mounted up to $7,000!!! I refused to pay that and it was not in my contract, but the overseer of O.O. straightened the whole thing out and I had the wedding reception of my dreams! My guests are still ranting and raving about the great tasting food and the high end luxurious feel of One Ocean!

Robin was great and wonderful to work with. My wedding day was amazing and I thank her so much for everything she has done. She responded to every email and even sent me emails making sure everything was going well. She would work with my schedule for meetings and reviewing things. The food was great, the cake was amazing. I think some things were a little pricey but I knew it going into it. The only thing I would say negative about One Ocean was the quest services, the following day, we had a few wedding quests complain that the service they received the following morning wasn't so great. Other than that, AMAZING! I can't say that it would have been the same without Robin and One Ocean!

Choosing this resort was a wonderful decision! It came highly recommended by friends of ours. My husband and I were very pleased with how nice the room was and how friendly the staff treated us. One Ocean Resort was a great place to end our special day. Thank you to all the staff for making the day perfect!

One Ocean is a gorgeous venue and was perfect for our beach ceremony. The staff is very friendly and helpful and made all of our guests feel welcomed. We are still getting rave reviews of the food that was served (we would recommend the tenderloin and swordfish!!). It was a very easy to process and plan our wedding with all of the help we received from One Ocean.

the start of my booking with one ocean was a bit rocky but when robin camp took over things became much easier. she was attentive and they worked well with us. the wedding was beautiful (but a bit hot...too bad we cant contol the weather!!) and i felt very well taken care of. the staff at the resort was SOO attentive and took care of every need that we had. they were wonderful and would do it there again if i had to do it all over again.

I had my wedding here in June. It was absolutely beautiful and everyone was so helpful. It is VERY expensive, so be ready for that, but the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Be mindful that they do go EXACTLY by what is on the contract, which isn't a BAD thing, just make sure you know what you're getting into. It was a beautiful wedding. Sarah, the catering and event manager is amazing!

One Ocean is absolutely beautiful and we are offering it as a potential location for our guests to stay. Unfortunately, they require the bride and groom to guarantee a very high percentage of rooms in order to offer a room block.

Our cake was included in the quote for catering with One Ocean and though it was delicious, it was really plain looking. We were disappointed in this as we explained what we wanted and the first thing we were told was that an extra charge would be applied for anything elaborate. Is color elaborate? I feel it must be as we did not pay extra and received a pretty plain white cake with flowers that were reused from another bakery set up (so nothing extra had to be done for our cake). I was really disappointed in this. My suggestion is to NOT leave instructions with the wedding coordinator and provide pictures/diagrams of exactly what you want because if you give vague instructions (Christmas, gift box, color) you might get a plain white cake with recycled little flowers that will be used for your punch of color.

The day of the event was wonderful. The staff that day was extremely nice and responsive to our needs. The lead-up to the wedding, however, was awful. The sales person did not follow up on anything, including booking our wedding and booking the rooms for the wedding party and events. When someone else took over, the bookings were complete but it was obvious that she did not care about my event at all. I did not receive a bill for anything, they simply charged my credit card about 5 times for various items, with no paper to back any of it up. Food is wonderful but be very careful about booking.....GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!

Robin Camp, the current coordinator, was extremely professional. It was the preceding two coordinators over our 12 month engagement that were rigid and inconsistent. Overall, however, beautiful location, excellent service, delicious food, and a fun environment for a wedding reception!

Staff was very friendly, upbeat and tried to compensate for their shortfalls. The hotel was going through renovations. This was just our Reception venue, not our ceremony also... though they do those too.

We didn't get what we were promised (gift basket in the room, etc) and for the money spent, I could've done better... but, it was alright.

We had our wedding at One Ocean. Sarah was very pleasant to work with throughout the process. She worked with our budget and created a custom menu based on our expectations. The food was great when we tested the menu, however, none of the items on the menu tasted the same on the day of the wedding. They had promised that they would pack our food for us and leave it in our room since we did not get to finish the food we grabbed at the buffet, but, they failed to do that. So, my husband and I did not get to enjoy our wedding food at all. They attempted to compensate by allowing us to order anything from their menu that night, however, our wedding menu items were not on that list.
Also they assured us that their bakery chef is capable of making any design we ask but the cake we got didn't match the pictures we had sent them as a reference. they had given our cake top to another bride and we received their cake during the mixup. Had that other bride not opened the cake the hotel boxed for us to eat on our anniversary we would have been oblivious to error until the following year! When we finally got our cake, we noticed that they had broken our cake toppers that were custom ordered. They also tried to charge us for a 150 dollar pet fee that we were not aware of when we first booked the venue. We chose this venue because they were willing to allow our dog at the wedding. But, they never disclosed that there would be a fee for that. They end up throwing away all our custom table items ( menu cards and table number) that we wanted to keep as memorandum from the wedding as well as the surplus of our 36 inch sparklers, the bucket we had them in, and the customized tags on each sparkler. In the end, we were monetarily compensated for the damages but we were disappointed that we even had to go through that ordeal in the first place.
Overall, it was okay and I would have given them 5 stars if they had not made the above mentioned mistakes.

Robin did a great job! Super-flexible, organized, and accommodating. She did not deliver the unity candle dome, and lighting our candle during the ceremony (embarrassing because the wind kept blowing out the candle). Make sure Bridal suite has enough lighting to do makeup!

This is a beautiful venue for the wedding ceremony and reception. The food was delicious! One thing that could be improved is having a plan for the bridal party right before the ceremony.

This venue was under construction when we had our wedding but we were informed of this and were given the opportunity to back out (we didn't). Arlene, the director of catering was very responsive and flexible, allowing us to change plans up until the night before at the rehearsal. Arlene acted as our wedding coordinator and helped to coordinate the timing of the ceremony since our officiant didn't feel it was his duty to do so. All of the staff were very accomodating and did a great job in making our day special!

One Ocean is a beautiful venue, however, working with them was such a frustrating experience that I could never recommend them to anyone. The wedding coordinator quit two months before my wedding, and I was told things by her during our initial that were not honored by the next coordinator I worked with. Furthermore, they charged my card twice when I asked them to use a different card. Nothing is really included: I spent thousands of dollars on tablecloths (not provided at all) and chairs (they only have chairs more appropriate for a business meeting than a wedding). They wanted me to make place cards indicating what each individual guest would eat- very difficult to accomplish, especially when you're inviting families and people don't specify which dish for which person. Everything was a challenge with them. Would not recommend at all. There are prettier places in Jacksonville with less hassle.

Literally 0 stars. Jamie at one ocean pretty much ruined our wedding. They started setting out decorations at 3pm and our wedding started at 5pm! It took her 6 months to get my husbands name right. She is clueless. My mother and I made labeled diagrams of what each table should look like (one centerpiece with a couple of votive candles scattered around) and she didn't even do it. It was horrible. And then she left the wedding at 8pm after telling our DJ it would be okay to light sparklers inside a tent. One of our guests went to the front desk to ask where to go for the Sheridan wedding and they sent them on a bus to the wrong wedding about 45 minutes away. Completely incompetent. Yes the venue is beautiful but the wedding coordinators and staff are horrible. They need to find a new wedding coordinator because Jamie is awful. She literally knew nothing and was clueless the whole time. Awful awful awful. Do NoT have your wedding here!!!!!!!

They had construction happening on the pool deck, witch part of my ballroom over looked & didn't even call to tell us about it ahead of time, they made guest pay for parking and they messed up the rooms of people that were staying there ... you know, like putting my champange in my parents room! It was not a good place, gave my mother & I both all kinds of worries, def go somewhere other than this!
