From the moment I became engaged, I knew that I wanted to host the reception at Drexelbrook. I have worked with them before on school events, and I knew they would see my vision. I did my due diligence and visited other venues, but once my parents, my fiancé, and his parents walked in, we knew that this was the one. One of the first things I loved is that we got so much more for the price, most venues offered 4 -5 appetizers, we had double - PLUS STATIONS! The dessert bar was top-tier - not just cake, but also ice cream, cannoli, and the list goes on. What Drexelbrook offered us in physical space, food, plates, napkins, etc, did not hold a torch to how myself, my fiance, and our families were treated. I know they do this for a living and, as I said before, I've worked with them on school events; however, from the moment I signed the contract, I felt as though I was the ONLY bride that establishment was working with in that moment. They understood what this event meant to me. This event was not only important to me as a bride, but also as a daughter trying to honor my mother and the vision she had for my wedding before she passed a few years ago. They eased every fear, walked me off every ledge, gave me patience, kindness, advice, guidance, and so much more. The day of my wedding when my fiance and I did the sneak peek of our reception room during cocktail hour, I could not hold tears back. Somehow they made my vision MORE beautiful than I could imagine. Again, throughout cocktail hour, first dances, speeches, dinner, dancing, and dessert, I felt like I was a princess and royalty. No favor was too big or too small, the entire staff smiled, laughed with us, and were genuinely happy for myself and my husband. I cannot sing their praises enough. I wish I could do it over again just so I could soak in the love, laughter, and fun of that night. Everyone talks about how stressful planning a wedding is, but I felt none of that in deal with Hannah, Kim, Domenick and the rest of the Drexelbrook staff. Thank you Drexelbrook for making every single thing I dreamed of for a wedding come true. You were all amazing and I will gladly sing your praises for years to come -

The 60th Surprise
The Drexelbrook Team led by Christina, Hannah and Fatima were OUTSTANDING, AMAZING, and FANTASTIC. The team went abive and beyond to accommodate my every request and need ensuring that my surprise event for my wife was a tremendous success. They treated me like family, took all the stress out of planning the event and provided a level of professionalism with great attention to detail that is rarely seen in today's times. They have a customer in life from me, my family and my friends. We all were very highly impressed, satisfied and receive great value for every dollar spent. You can trust this team, they will never let you down. I can't wait to work with them again.

Not only is the food 100/10 (it was a HUGE hit with our guests) but the service, flexibility, creative thinking & kindness of all the staff is amazing. We knew we wanted to work with the Drexelbrook when we got engaged back in the Summer of 2022, they were our first vendor booked. You cannot go wrong with The Drexelbrook! -

Just coming down from cloud 9 after hosting our daughter's wedding in the Mansion at the Drexelbrook. Everything went smoothly, thanks to Kim, Hannah and Domenick. They graciously accommodated every wish, even when we told them we wanted the bridesmaids to carry rescue puppies instead of flowers!! The service and food were excellent, with tons of plant-based options so that everyone felt well fed and loved, from cocktail hour to dinner and even dessert! Perhaps the best part was staying onsite at the Holiday Inn all weekend. We were able to host our rehearsal dinner on Friday night, have a fun glam party the morning of the wedding in our suite, host an after party after the wedding, and a farewell brunch on Sunday morning.....all without ever leaving the property! -

Working with Kim & Hannah was the icing on the cake to the beautiful rooms and venue. They were caring and flexible and truly concerned in making sure all my daughters dreams were met. We had to combine Jewish/Israel traditions with Italian traditions and in every request we made they were diligent to make certain each persons needs were met. The food, the atmosphere, the professionalism is all here. If I had to plan 100 weddings they would all be at Drexelbrook. In addition the Streetlights café and the rooms were an added bonus for family and friends. -

Where do I begin? First of all, planning a wedding during a pandemic is already stressful. Jeannie was on top of all the government announcements including indoor capacities. She knew when Governor Wolf was planning to announce updates and was aware of all CDC guidelines. I called her frequently (2-3 times per week) checking on capacity limits and she was so responsive to all my phone calls and emails. She ALWAYS made me feel like a top priority. Secondly, Drexelbrook started offering Brunch Weddings again and the entire experience was EVERYTHING I imagined.
Elegant Modern Ballrooms & Very Spacious
We originally planned to have an outdoor wedding on Drexelbrook’s West Terrace to have an indoor-outdoor wedding/reception. But considering August heat, we ended up having it indoors – and it was amazing! We had our 11 AM ceremony in the North Ballroom, cocktail hour in the Grand Lobby and our reception in the Center and South Ballroom. One word – perfect! The luxe surroundings set the tone for our classic wedding. The décor was already beautiful and with the uplighting, we didn’t need to add that much. The ceremony space was spacious and the florist Jeannie recommended (Eventricity) picked the perfect floral arrangements for both the ceremony and reception. We had ~150 guests and there was plenty of room for everyone to follow CDC guidelines. The dance floor was perfect and spacious for everyone to have a great time! The layout of the tables, dessert station, cake, gifts table, and our head table was perfect. We had a great view of everyone and the entire ballroom – such a memorable day!
Seamless Hotel-to-Venue collaboration
The night before, we had our rehearsal at the Drexelbrook and our rehearsal dinner at the attached Holiday Inn hotel. Ann B at the Holiday Inn staff were great. The food at the Holiday Inn was AMAZING and it was perfect since most of our bridal party and family were staying at the hotel. With a morning wedding, having the hotel attached to the venue was ideal. We were able to have our entire bridal party get ready in one location, take pictures, and walk over to the venue. We saved costs on transportation and eliminated a lot of stress. Jeannie and the Hotel staff all worked as a team to ensure our wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day went as planned. Ann B. at the Holiday Inn hotel made an awesome suggestion - since our reception ended around 4:30 pm, she recommended to keep the celebration going by booking the outdoor patio at the hotel’s restaurant Streetlight. Having our mini-“hotel after-party on the patio” was a great way to spend more time with our friends and family! Ann also suggested having a light breakfast delivered to our Bridal suite as we were getting our make-up done. Again, the seamless teamwork with Jeannie and the hotel staff was amazing!
Amazing cuisine – everyone is still talking about the food!
-Just yesterday one of my friends told me how much she enjoyed the food! Another friend was raving how good our signature drinks were – especially the Sangria. Brunch is one of my favorite meals and the batter dipped chicken & waffles, challah French toast, vegetable frittata, etc. were DELICIOUS! Chef Derrick did an AMAZING job. Drexelbrook also had the most amazing service staff. Everyone was so professional and really went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We had a designated attendant who made sure we had everything we needed – from food, to beverages, etc. I even misplaced my bouquet before the reception and the staff found it outside where we took pictures! Bottom line - their detailed organization eliminated A LOT of stress for us.
Jeannie’s superb organization, attention to detail and team spirit
I can’t say enough about working with Jeannie. Her professionalism and experience really put our minds at ease during the entire planning process. She was always prepared for every meeting and explained step-by-step what we should expect. She provided numerous recommendations and advice that we didn’t even consider. My wedding planners were able to collaborate with Jeannie to ensure our wedding was exactly how we envisioned. That speaks volumes to her extensive experience with weddings/events. Our original plan for the Lobby TV display fell through the day before our wedding, and she quickly arranged the tech team to make a wonderful display that greeted our guests. Even though we brought our own DJ, photographer, and wedding planner – she worked seamlessly with each one.
Our guests still talk about our wedding to this day! I HIGHLY recommend Jeannie, the Drexelbrook Staff and Holiday Inn for your wedding or special event! -

You can’t go wrong with Drexelbrook as the venue for your wedding! When we had to push our daughter’s wedding back a full year to July 2021 due to the pandemic, Kim Savino and her team were so accommodating and flexible. She went above and beyond to help us through a process that was totally foreign to us as this was our first child’s wedding. Kim is the consummate professional and she knows everyone in the wedding business. She was always available whenever we had a question or concern, and we had a lot of those as we tried to navigate this important event through the pandemic’s various shutdowns and restrictions.
Once the Big Day arrived, it was so seamless. She greeted us at the door and walked us through what to expect that evening. The ballroom was gorgeously decorated, the pin spots were perfectly placed, and the amber lighting was so beautiful. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail hour in the spacious lobby, and the staff throughout the night was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and everyone’s meal came out hot, not an easy task when serving 230+ guests.
Above all, Kim and the whole team at Drexelbrook gave our event great attention to detail. You didn’t feel like it was just another wedding reception they were putting on. You felt like it was the only wedding they would ever do. You’ll be treated like royalty. For example, my wife realized at the end of the cocktail hour that she had been so busy greeting our guests that she hadn’t even tried any of the terrific hors d'oeuvres. That’s all Kim needed to hear and miraculously a full plate appeared by my wife’s side.
Take it from two first-time Parents of the Bride: do yourself a favor and experience Drexelbrook. -

My husband and I had our postponed reception (thanks to Covid) and also a vow renewal and cocktail hour at Drexelbrook on 9/25/2021. It was just a few days after our first anniversary. While we never would have wished for our original plans to be impacted, we ended up having such an amazing day with probably less nerves/stress since we were already married. We started working with Drexelbrook (specifically Kim Savino) in August 2019 after we got engaged - and we continued working on our plans for over 2+ years. Due to the pandemic, we had to adjust our date and make many other changes along the way. And Drexelbrook couldn't have been more flexible and understanding. It definitely made a very stressful time a bit more manageable. Kim, and eventually Hannah and Jean (as we got closer to our date), were both so helpful in all aspects of the planning and final details. I would be remiss if I didn't mention our tasting, which was incredible! We got to bring our parents on both sides to the tasting, and the food was just all so delicious. As for our actual wedding celebration - everything went so, so well. We had a brief vow renewal in the North Ballroom, which was a perfect spot. Then, we had cocktail hour in the Grand Lobby. It's such an elegant space, and all of the appetizers and stations were incredible! We were able to bring in a musician to sing and play acoustic guitar for our brief ceremony and also cocktail hour, which gave a special touch. Our reception was perfect - all of our guests said how delicious the food was. And the portions! My husband had crab cakes and I had beef short rib - I have never seen such large portions at a wedding. The space itself is beautiful and modern. Very large dance floor, and the ballroom had more than enough room to accommodate our ~150 guests while still feeling very spacious - which was important since Covid is still very much here. All of the employees were so kind, helpful, and professional. Bill and Jason were our bridal captain team, and they kept us informed and happy throughout the evening. Once we walked into Drexelbrook that afternoon, we literally didn't feel like we had to worry about a thing - everything was in their very capable hands. Also, having a hotel onsite with the ability to hold an after party was huge! Overall, we can't recommend Drexelbrook enough. If you are looking for a place that makes the process easy (all-inclusive pricing, etc.) and also makes you feel like you're getting the value for the money you're spending - Drexelbrook is it. We had a really great experience all the way through. Thank you! -

We had our wedding reception at the Drexelbrook and there are so many wonderful things we can say about it!
Let’s start with the venue itself: gorgeous! The pictures we found online didn’t do it justice. It’s a beautiful, clean, and tastefully ornate facility. And it’s huge! During COVID, they were able to accommodate all of our guests (~200) comfortably and still follow state guidelines. The complimentary uplighting and table settings created a lovely ambience, and the layout was perfect. We had a live band who had plenty of space to work and the dance floor had ample space.
Next, the food: delicious! Honestly, wedding food has no business being this good. The flavors were amazing, from the hors d'oeuvres and stations to the main courses (they even were able to accommodate a custom sea bass dish we requested!) to the desserts. We’re still dreaming about the stuffed chicken and strip steak. There are so many options and they were very accommodating with food allergies, preferences, and intolerances. It’s hard to go wrong with all the choices. Also, the staff went out of their way to ensure that we were adequately fed and had time to ourselves! We can’t begin to tell you how clutch that was.
Then, the staff: helpful and accommodating! We had exactly 3 WEEKS to replan our reception as COVID forced the original reception out of Philadelphia, and everyone at the Drexelbrook did their best to make sure our “special day” was truly special. Christina, Anthony, Jeannie, and Bill hit the ground running and facilitated all of our last-minute needs. They responded quickly to our questions and didn’t balk at any reasonable requests. They had so many recommendations we didn’t even think of! They also worked so well with our vendors, making this as stress-free as possible!
Lastly, the quick turnaround: wow! While Pennsylvania was easing many event restrictions in March of 2021, Philadelphia did not follow suit. Our original reception venue very graciously allowed us out of the commitment to their venue, so we had a few days to find something else. After being very impressed with a tour of the facility, we landed on the Drexelbrook and they got to work immediately. Months of planning was able to be condensed in a few weeks. Our guests universally loved the venue and were shocked that all of it could be done in such a short period of time!
10/10 would recommend it for any event! -

If you are looking for a beautiful, inclusive, and just down right spectacular wedding venue then look no further! Also if you want a professional team that makes all of your wedding dreams come true then just click on the link and call Kim. My husband and I had to choose a different venue 2-3 months before our wedding because of the COVID restrictions in Philadelphia at our original venue. And then when we had to push our date back because of COVID, Kim immediately came to the rescue to provide us with alternative dates. She always made herself available to us when something with another vendor (particularly our original florist) went wrong. We had our original florist (NOT through DREXELBROOK) ghost us 2 weeks before our new wedding date and Kim immediately got us in contact with their professional list of florists and we had a consultation and all of our stresses gone within a business day. Kim and the team at Drexelbrook truly made our wedding day the PERFECT day despite covid and the wedding planning hiccups. Our guests absolutely LOVED the food and the beautiful ballroom. All of the staff were professional and even made sure we ate during our big day. If you are looking for a beautiful ballroom and a professional and attentive staff during your wedding day, do yourself a favor and call KIM!!! -

Kim & Everyone at Drexelbrook are just AMAZING!
Kim made the planning process so much easier! She is great at communicating with her brides and she made the evening run smoothly!
The food was to die for! Everyone kept saying how tasty their meals were! The wait staff, bartenders, and helpers were very professional. One of the women working even noticed my water glass was low, as I’m greeting guests at each and every table, and she refilled it for me! I mean how much more service can you get!
They helped make sure my husband had is jacket on for the cake cutting, made sure that we actually got to eat our meals, and constantly made sure we had a drink!
Overall, I was so thrilled with our wedding and everyone there made it perfect! Thank you so much to Kim and the Drexelbrook team! -

I never thought planning a wedding could be so simple. My point of contact was Christina Lyle from the time I reached out for a visit and she had never left my side. My wife and I toured the newly renovated facility and fell in love. We found the perfect ballroom to accommodate our small wedding and decided this was the place. Christina gave us a copy of vendors in every area to help ease our day, though we had already found many of our own which DrexelBrook was able to accommodate. Our tasting was so amazing you would have thought it was the wedding day! Fast forward to the day of the wedding.... we stayed at the beautiful Holiday Inn which was brand new and on the property. Everything was ready for us and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. A very beautiful day! Thank you so much! -

I can’t say enough about Drexelbrook and the experience me, my fiancé, parents and guests had. We worked with Anthony D’Angelo from the beginning and he was so knowledgeable and helpful. He guided us every step of the way and was so patient with all of our questions and anxiety. And the wedding was amazing. So many guests have raves about the ambiance, food, and service. And the new adjoining hotel is spectacular. I just hope to get invited to a wedding there sometime so I can enjoy it as a guest -

The food was over the top in quality and presentation, and Gene even added some special requests to our menu, creating a dish just for us. He also added a few favorites of his own as part of our package. The professionalism and seamlessness of the evening was overwhelming. We had a beach house wedding and it could not have been more elegant or memorable. Thank you so much to Gene and his staff for making our wedding epic!

The venue is lovely and I was immediately won over by their awesome packages. Jean has a real take charge attitude and she knows what she is doing. I was very comfortable with her and confident that she could execute my day according to my vision. I had friends that said you better get your own wedding planner. I told them that I was in good hands. Jean was very sharp, every conversation she remembered exactly what we discussed, what we modified, and she had taken great notes. She was quick to find my files and put her fingers on the information that we needed, completely organized. She gave me plenty of personal attention and was always available to quickly answer my calls via email and phone. Trust me she knows her stuff, let her do her thing and you will not be disappointed. Her suggestions and insight were extremely valuable. The entire experience was a dream come true from the beginning to the end. Drexelbook and Jean far exceeded my expectations. Anthony did a wonderful job making sure every detail was taken care of and, also, he offered suggestions when me and my husband were unsure.
Our wedding day was perfect with the help of Fatima. She was easy-going, offered suggestions along the way and took the time to make sure our needs and wants were addressed immediately. Thank you Anthony and Fatima for a GREAT job! Our day was perfect with the help of you and your staff!
