I used them for my month of services and couldn't be happier! Even my bridal team has fabulous things to say about them! They kept me calm and collected on my big day even as things went wrong (it is inevitable) They handled so many things without me even noticing! Highly recommend for NY brides! -

Knowledgable, Responsive, Best Decision Ever Made
Tara is without a doubt the planner you have been looking for! I can not recommend her enough. Tl;dr - she knows her stuff (both big and small details), she is unbelievably responsive, and she is an all around amazing person to work with!
My (now) husband and I knew from our first phone call with Tara that she stood out. We had little to no idea where to start with wedding planning and knew we would need someone to really hold our hands through the process. We had interviewed with many different planners; what we appreciated most after our initial consultation was that she seemed easy to work with, transparent and trustworthy, and comfortable supporting us even though we had very little vision to start with. Needless to say, in the year+ that followed, she proved us right time and again!
There was some flexibility with including certain elements of the event (venue, rehearsal dinner, etc) in her package vs. doing them on our own, with associated cost savings (most other planners we talked to did not have this option, or at least did not tell us up front!). At no point did she try to “up-sell” us on details we could manage on our own, but once we had our top venue picked out, she still assisted with reviewing contracts and locking everything in.
It is no surprise that the number of potential vendors in NYC is overwhelming. Tara presented us with a manageable pool of potential options for each vendor (photography, hair/make-up, florals, etc) in a variety of styles, so we always felt like we were able to find one that suited our unique tastes. Needless to say, they were all top quality.
The amount of work she put in behind-the-scenes coordinating and communicating with our vendors can not be overstated. We picked a venue that has not historically done a lot of weddings, which can be a bit of a gamble in itself. Tara made sure everyone had all of the documentation and timelines they needed, that all of our decisions were communicated in a timely manner, and that we were staying on track with important milestones (when to send invitations, when to have the tasting completed with the caterer, when to have all of our vendors finalized). Every minute of the day felt smooth and effortless for us - she even made sure that all of our belongings made it back to our hotel so we could enjoy our after party right away. She went above and beyond for every. single. detail. that, if you haven’t planned a wedding before, you may not even think of.
But the number one takeaway I have after working with Tara is that we always felt like we were her number one priority - her responsiveness is unparalleled. Every text, email, or phone call was answered promptly; I swear I think she must have more hours in the day than the rest of us! While the usual pre-wedding jitters came up, she was always calm and collected, and just generally on top of it all.
Our wedding was the best day of our lives, thanks mostly to her beautiful work. She is not only amazing at what she does, but she is just an all around wonderful person to work with. I sincerely hope we get the chance to work with her again in the future! -

Perfect Wedding Day with Dream Makers
Tara and Raquel was amazing on the day of wedding. It was a great decision to hire them as a Day of Coordinator. They were able to go through every details with me before the wedding. On the day of wedding, they made everything easier and smoother. With so many things going on the day of wedding, I was so thankful to have them to help out small details and any requests that we had. I would recommend anyone to have Tara and Raquel for a perfect wedding day! -

Great experience

Above and Beyond!
Raquel and the Dream Makers Team were absolutely phenomenal. I thought I didn't need a DoC but my venue required it. There are so many out there that charge a ridiculous amount of money. We found Raquel through our venue, Dobbin St. She is incredible. She is one of the most organized and professional people I have ever met. She knows weddings. She went above and beyond to make our day so special. She got to know my fiance and I and made sure that every decision she made was in the best interest of our vision for the wedding. Raquel knew we were on a budget and made sure to do whatever she could to support that. As we watched the weather leading up to the wedding day we realized there was going to be a hurricane traveling up the coast and this put a huge wrench in our plans. Raquel was flexible, she planned ahead and made some gametime decisions for us and made it so we barely noticed that we couldn't have our ceremony on the roof. She had incredible relationships with all of our other vendors which made it so when we showed up on the day of our wedding, there was nothing for us to do. She made sure we ate, had fun and made sure that the day was about us. I cannot say enough about Raquel. She spent so much more time than she had to on making our wedding special. She is the best decision we made when planning for vendors. Thank you, Raquel!! -

Tact and diplomacy
It’s funny. When I got engaged back in January 2018, Tara (from Dreammakers) was the very first vendor I reserved. We didn’t need coordination through the actual City Hall wedding in November 2018, because we always had our eye on a big ceremony/reception at the first year anniversary mark in November 2019. I have to explain something. I’m a data scientist – which means I am fast, decisive, and organized. I would prefer to get everything paid for, sorted months in advance if that’s possible and I’ll often work so quickly, I’ll accidentally steamroll right over my vendors. From the get-go, I knew I needed help, not with the coordination but with diplomacy, tact, and negotiation. I emailed Tara and knew right away she was the one. She was able to describe to me the timeline, who we should chase and at what point. She was the equivalent of a marathoner coach, telling me at what point we should go full-steam ahead (my favorite speed), and what point we needed to lay off completely to give a little “implied pressure” to vendors who had the capacity to bend the rules for us. She worked with me, we formulated a strategy. I wanted an all-inclusive venue, as few vendors as possible, and above all, I wanted to leave by 9:30pm the night of. She had a spreadsheet system all laid out, and let me spin my wheels as much as I needed, micro-adjusting the tables, the names, the colors. It was great, she let me run out of steam, then we reigned it in together for the last week leading up to it. Day-of coordination, meant that I also met and worked with Raquel. While I was thoroughly impressed with both individuals, I was shocked and impressed when at the end of the night, a rather tipsy guest was trying to encourage me to take my wedding cake home. I didn’t want to because the hotel room fridge is small, and I genuinely eat minimal sugar. After saying quite nicely no a few times, Raquel finally put her foot down and said: The bride said no, her fridge is too small, ok? It was a small, but powerful presence and once again I was reminded of why I liked these two. Tact and diplomacy. A little power, shown at the right time, speaks volumes. Their work was ever professional, but I would say if you really want to know what sets them apart? It’s their ability to know when to press forth and when to back off. You need someone like this in your corner, especially in an industry which thinks anything “wedding” related deserves a 200% markup. I’ll return to them in the future for vow renewals, anniversaries, and hopefully, baby showers. -

One of the best investments we made for our wedding
If you’re looking for any kind of help with your wedding, from month-of planning to just day-of execution, stop looking and hire Tara’s team. As someone who has a few years’ worth of experience planning large events in New York City, I was looking for a day-of coordinator to help execute the plan and details that my fiancé and I had put together, so that our family and friends wouldn’t have to worry about them and could enjoy the day with us. After a great introductory phone conversation with Tara, I knew we’d found the right person. She has extensive wedding industry experience, and she and her team worked with our vendors to make our day flawless. We had a church ceremony and a reception in a different location, and everything - and I mean everything - was on time. Once you book your venue, it’s easy to forget that the venue is only expected to handle certain aspects of your wedding details, and depending on the level of service you’re getting, there are plenty of things that they may not be responsible for handling. Having a coordinator helps to ensure that all of your vendors are working well together, and Tara’s team was critical in doing just that for our big day. My fiancé and I both agreed that working with her was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding. -

Phenomenal day of coordination services!
I hired Dream Makers for day of coordination for my wedding this past April. Raquel was my coordinator and was phenomenal and vital to pulling off the day without any hitches. The Dream Makers team worked behind the scenes to make the actual day happen perfectly and because of this I was glad that my family and myself were able to enjoy the day fully without worrying about all the little details that the team saw to. There is a lot more that you get by hiring Dream Makers than just day of coordination! The meeting I had with Raquel beforehand at the venue was very helpful in ironing out a lot of details and in planning the day itself beforehand. Many people told me it was the best wedding they've been to and I could not have hoped for such a wonderful day without them. Thank you Raquel and the Dream Makers team! -

Amazing Day-of Services
The team at Dream Makers was excellent on the day of my wedding. I knew I wanted a day-of coordinator so I could focus on the big day and none of the issues that come up during a wedding. From the moment I reached out to Tara and her team I felt at ease. They were super courteous and professional. The day of the wedding they dealt with last minute changes like communicating with the venue to make sure the cocktail hour was moved inside due to rain, organizing a last minute food order for my bridal party pre-reception, and even dealing with decorations left behind at my ceremony. Because of Dream Makers I didn't have to worry about a single thing on my big day. -

We used Dream Makers for our wedding day of coordinator, and we cannot recommend them enough! We worked with Raquel for our wedding, and she was fantastic! Raquel was so organized, friendly, and professional. On our wedding day Raquel and her team anticipated all of our needs, and solved any issues that might have arisen without us ever knowing there was even a hiccup that occurred. Raquel made our wedding day completely full of ease for us. We literally had nothing to problem solve because Raquel took care of everything, and she made sure everything was flawless. Our wedding was perfect to us, and everyone had a fabulous time, and we know that this was in large part due to Raquel and her team's hard work that day. Nothing short of amazing!
I hired Dream Makers for my 6/22 wedding for Day of Coordinating and it was hands down the best decision I made besides agreeing to marry my husband LOL. Raquel was nothing short of amazing, and had every detail handled perfectly so I'd be able to enjoy my day much more relaxed and stress free. Her level of professionalism is absolutely unmatched, and she made sure everything went off without a hitch throughout the day. For any future bride I meet, I will 1000% be recommending Dream Makers. I was able to take in my special day and really be present, which is what Dream Makers was able to afford me by taking care of everything so well. Best decision i made regarding my wedding was hiring DreamMakers!
Raquel was the absolute best. the best thing about this company is the ability to customize what you would like them to do for your. We didn't need EVERYTHING as we had already booked a venue and most of our vendors but there were still many things that i was unsure of and needed guidance. We hired them for 'day of' and some extra planning stuff but to be honest, i don't know what the extra entailed. All i know is that for months before my wedding, whenever i reached out to Raquel, i was promptly answer d and taken care of without so much of a mention that i didnt pay for this particular service. Anything we needed at our wedding was handled. From sewing my husbands too large pants to making sure our guests got on the correct shuttle.... they were flawless. i can't say enough good things about them and highly recommend!! thank you for everything Raquel, Tara and EVERYONE at Dream Makers! -

We used dream makers as our month of/day of coordinator. We had a bad weather situation for our wedding day and a last minute vendor cancellation the day before that made us scramble to completely change the plan for our ceremony & cocktail hour. Raquel helped tremendously with all our last minute changes, and then also executed everything perfectly the day of. We didn't have to worry about a thing and it was so nice to feel confident that everything was going smoothly. That kind of feeling is invaluable on your wedding day! -

Dream Makers was the best choice for day of coordination
Tara and her team were amazing for the day of coordination for my wedding at The Central Park Boathouse. They were always five steps ahead and kept everything from first look to photos to the party running on time. In addition to being extremely responsive, organized, and extremely knowledgeable about the venue, Tara's prices were hard to beat. If I could give her 10 stars on value I would! -

Tara was absolutely terrific! I had complete confidence in her ability to manage our daughter's wedding. We had over 200 guests and 21 people in the bridal party. The venue required all vendors to be outsourced so there were quite a few moving parts! Tara coordinated every single detail flawlessly and the evening was perfect. I booked Dream Makers for our June wedding as DOC coordinators and couldn't be happier with the decision. I was really worried about finding the right match, especially because I was doing the planning leading up to the big day myself at a bare-bones venue (The Greenpoint Loft). Once I met Raquel in the weeks before the wedding, all of my worries were put to rest. Raquel and team were so amazing- from Raquel's responsiveness leading up to the big day, to every single detail day-of. They executed every single set-up, including a bunch of my DIY projects, with extreme attention to detail and care. I had my complete trust in the team, and I was not only not let down, but they far exceeded my expectations. I can't recommend Raquel and team enough- only wish I had another wedding as an excuse to hire them again! -

Tara and her team are simply amazing. She was the best resource during my wedding planning phase. Always so quick to respond to questions with helpful suggestions and great vendor connections. She gives you honest advice that isn't always what you want to hear, but is kind and understanding to help you through any problems you encounter. Being an organized person myself, it was comforting having someone with more experience that matched my way of thinking but could help fill in all the gaps. On the day of the wedding her team was nothing less than incredible there to direct everyone in the bridal party, the guests and my family. I also hired service staff through her and they were equally professional and highly skilled. Everyone was just so calm and quick with whatever they were doing. They make everything effortless so you have nothing left to do but enjoy yourself, which is exactly what I wanted. I literally don't have a single thing to complain about or suggestion to improve. The team of Dream makers was an extra insurance policy on our wedding day. Though the venue had a planner, we felt better having a day of coordinator. It turned out to be a great decision. Tara along with two of her assistants were so helpful in making sure everything went off without a hitch on our special day. They were attentive, detail oriented and so lovely to work with. Now I wasn't sure I was a believer in hiring a DOC at first, my wedding was small and I wasn't sure how much I would really benefit from the extra help, but I couldn't have been more wrong!! I truly got to enjoy my wedding without a care in the world because Tara took care of all the little things for me- coordinating with vendors, keeping track and handing out tips, making sure things went to the appropriate people, etc. Even before the wedding Tara was really on the ball, reaching out to my vendors and coordinating things I didn't even think of myself, but needed to get done! She was always super responsive and sweet... I'm so thankful I hired her. Your wedding day will go by so quickly, you want to enjoy every moment of it, not spending time running around handling the business end of things! Trust me, big or small wedding.. you will benefit from hiring Tara!! -

We were looking for someone to take care of all of the little details on the day of our wedding so that we wouldn't have to worry about a single thing, and Tara and Raquel were everything we needed in a Day of Coordinator. Many other vendors add on services that make it more like a Month of Coordinator and of course that's reflected in the price, but Tara delivers really all you need if you can handle everything else on your own. When we met for our Marathon meeting along with the event coordinator for our venue, I knew we had made the right decision. The coordinator for the venue was unprofessional and useless, but having Tara reassured me that everything was going to be okay. She took charge and represented our interests. She helped us develop a cohesive timeline that made sense considering the space. Tara even responded to us on a Sunday when we needed advice - our venue was trying to change the pricing on us last minute! Of course I'm not recommending calling her on a weekend but just to say she's responsive :) On our wedding day I could finally relax knowing Tara and Raquel had everything under control. Tara also just has a very calming vibe about her so I think that helps! They kept us on time and arranged all of our Day of Decor as we had specified. It was definitely one of the happiest days of my life and I know that was in part because we had Dream makers! -

Tara was absolutely amazing as our day-of coordinator. She really helped us turn the vision for our wedding into a reality. We could not have asked for a better day. She met with me before the wedding and helped figure out all of the logistics in advance. On the actual wedding day, she and her assistant made sure that everything ran exactly according to plan. -

I am so happy I hired Dream Makers as my day of wedding coordinators! I worked with Racquel on the day of and leading up to the wedding, who was very sweet, organized, and professional. I planned the wedding myself, but did not want to be the person in charge to field questions on the day of the wedding. Racquel was wonderful and worked with me in the months leading up to the wedding (once at the venue and several times over e-mail and one last phone call) to make sure the day went off without a hitch. No one bothered me on the day of the wedding and I know it's because of the hard work of Dream Makers! -

Halfway through my planning I realized it was necessary to have a day-of-coordinator help execute all the items that were planned for the big day! I spoke with a few day-of-coordinators and ultimately chose to move forward with Dream Makers due to Tara's expertise. She clearly knew what she was doing and offered a competitive price for her services as well. I knew moving forward with her that I was going to be in good hands!
Her assistant, Jordyn, and her really helped the entire day run smoothly. As soon as I showed up to get my hair and makeup done, Jordyn showed up and was there to help assist all other vendors get ready. I honestly couldn't imagine the day without him there to ensure everything was happening at the scheduled time I had listed on my timeline. In addition, both of them were very flexible and willing to work with last minute changes.
I'd highly recommend working with Tara and her team if you are planning most of your wedding and need a team to help things fall into place the day of! Because of them, my husband and I were able to have a blast at our own wedding and spend time with our family and friends rather than managing all the little things.

They were responsive leading up to the event and acted as the main point of contact on the day-of so my husband and I could focus on enjoying the day! When we first met with Tara, it was clear that she’s just the kind of take-no-shit (but do it kindly) woman that comprised my bridal party, so adding another powerful woman to the mix as our day-of coordinator was a no-brainer.
Did I ever think I’d have a coordinator for my wedding? Absolutely not. I was a DIY bride, and don’t like the fussy nonsense of weddings. But 4 months before ours, our original venue (that came w/ included coordination on-site) closed. Quickly scrambling to find a place that was not booked on that same Saturday (so we could keep the full vendor team we had already assembled), we booked a restaurant buyout at Fornino in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The owner and his team are incredibly competent, and gave us the experience of a lifetime, but they’re not wedding planners. If we were going to have this harborside pizza dream fulfilled, we were going to need a set of eyes and ears for the wedding. After losing one venue, we needed an insurance policy.
Tara set up our entire venue mostly according to the detailed map I had prepared, coordinated our vendors, and took all of the DIY elements and turned them into the beautiful, expressive, personalized day I had dreamt of. She wrangled the personalities, the design elements, and the vendors, checked in with me only when she absolutely had to, and kept everyone accountable and honest. During the evening, my mom leaned in and told me what a tight ship Tara was running. And knowing my mom, who’d talked me down many a wedding planning ledge, could enjoy it and not worry meant EVERYTHING. At the end of the night she had packed up everything. We picked it all up from the venue the next day, and it was put away with care and respect - she had even stowed the copy of my dad’s speech in the corner of a box!
Tara’s work meant that my husband and I (and everyone I love) could enjoy our wedding day. -

A fabulous Day Of Wedding Co-ordinator!!
Tara was a pleasure to work with and completely put our minds to rest that all would go smoothly on the big day. Nothing was too much trouble and Tara and her colleague Jordan were a pleasure to work with, and managed the day effortlessly.
We live in London and had an intimate wedding at The Waldorf Astoria, NYC followed by a wedding dinner at Hakassan. Tara made sure all the large and small details were taken care of, and didn't miss a beat.
We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Dream Makers.

Dream Makers was recommended to us by our photographers. We used them as our day of coordinators and hired them about a month before the wedding. It was the best decision we made! I never met Tara before the wedding due to the timing of when I hired her, but from day one she was on top of everything. I filled out spreadsheets to get all details set. We brought a lot of our own decorations in and her and her assistant Raquel made everything PERFECT. They set up all flowers, candles, and lanterns on top of getting guests in place and keeping with timeline. She was so on point with the timing and kept everything running so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Although the venue provided someone to help, Tara was absolutely necessary. I met her for the first day on my wedding and knew she was organized, tough and quick. -

Tara - I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for your help in coordinating my October 1st wedding day. The day was truly magical and far exceeded my expectations. After months of meticulous planning, selecting vendors and worrying about the slightest of details, I was so happy to have you on board on the actual ‘day’ in order to orchestrate events and ensure the execution of my vision. I have to say, you did not disappoint. While you and your assistant oversaw the set-up of the ceremony and reception and coordinated with the band and florist, I was allowed to enjoy the morning getting ready with my bridesmaids and mother inside the bridal suite. At the ceremony, you helped to keep things on schedule while also providing guidance for our wedding party processional. Back at the reception, you worked with the band and staff at the Village Club to keep the evening flowing without missing any of the ‘special moments’, including the parent dances, the toasts (which you so kindly videotaped) and the cake cutting. At the end of the night, you discreetly ensured that all of our vendors received the proper tips, negotiated extra time with our photographer, and you even helped to coordinate an additional shuttle bus to make sure that all of our guests were taken home safely. To have somebody on board to take care of all these details and to actually be able to be a guest at my own wedding was a priceless experience! I'm so glad that I hired Tara! I spoke with four different coordinators before deciding to hire Tara as my 'month of coordinator'. She didn't try to change my ideas or go above my budget which I really liked. She also knows The W Loft so well and knows what you need to do to hold a successful wedding at such a unique space. On the weekend of the wedding, she and her assistant were both very calm under pressure and extremely dependable. She ran the rehearsal the night before which made the wedding ceremony much less stressful and actually enjoyable! We had a very DIY wedding with many small details so I was a bit apprehensive in passing the torch to someone else, but I knew I would need help if I wanted to feel like a bride on our special day.. Tara and the Dream Makers team were awesome in making that a reality! Tara was always available and a great resource throughout the process. In such a stressful and hectic time, Tara's approachable disposition and 'can-do' attitude helped me hang-on to my sanity more than I can say. Handing over execution to Tara on the day of our wedding was seamless and I had every confidence in her handling all the remaining details as good, if not better, than I would have. During our event, Tara was great at taking the reins in working with our team of vendors (lots of moving parts) and putting out the inevitable fires that come up without alarming anyone, so that we and our guests could just enjoy the evening. Tara and her team were thorough, we were not left hanging, but Tara was very communicative and made sure everything was handled, start to finish, before she left. Tara is amazing! She helped me and my now-husband create the wedding of our dreams. We had already done a significant amount of planning (all the planning was done 50/50, yay for equality in relationships!) before contacting her, including booking vendors, deciding on decorations/theme, etc, and just needed someone to handle the nitty-gritty stuff on the day of. She was fantastic! She never tried to up-sell me on anything and went way above and beyond. She was familiar with our venue (The W Loft), and was quick to point out things that we wouldn't have thought of without her given her knowledge of the venue's quirks even before we booked her. The weeks leading up to the wedding, she was responsive, respectful, professional, and so helpful -- providing suggestions for additional help we may need, help with creating timeline, sending me deals she found online, all that stuff. After our first official meeting at our venue, I felt confident trusting her with our vision of our wedding. On the day of the wedding (which was such a blissful blur!), she was there early to set up the furniture and decor. Everything was set up perfectly! My husband (who was also helping to set up in the morning) says that he saw Tara handle every detail like a boss, and comments fondly about how her assistant painstakingly arranged flowers in our lanterns and how they tied the twine around our programs *just so*. She managed our parents and us (along with our nerves! haha) without any issues, and then stayed later than she needed to in order to help coordinate the clean-up. I can not say enough wonderful things about Tara and her assistant. We could not have gotten through this hectic process without her! Which is why she is the first person I'm reviewing on all of the sites I'm going to. -

Insurance for your wedding day
It's relatively obvious that you need a wedding planner / coordinator if you're getting married in a raw space. But when we booked our wedding at a venue that hosts events daily (i.e., the Central Park Boathouse), we questioned whether we needed any additional help, particularly because we're both organized and had wedding planning under control. Then I heard about the concept of a Day of Coordinator and knew that was exactly what we needed. You 100% do NOT want to be the point of contact for anyone or anything on your own wedding day, and you do NOT want to be the one solving any issues as they arrive (which they will).
Yeah, you could lean on friends or family for help, but do you really want your best friend sitting on the floor arranging flip flops in a basket on your wedding day or your parents helping break down decorations and collect personal items at the end of the night? No! Everybody should be enjoying themselves rather than worrying about tasks they've been assigned!
We spoke to a few different vendors for DOC services and chose Dream Makers as they were direct, their services were clear, there was no BS, and their pricing was very fair. And we are so thankful we did. From the moment we met her, Raquel was so professional, and we knew she'd have everything entirely under control. She acted as a great sounding board in those few weeks leading up to the wedding, flagging logistical details that we hadn't yet thought about. And on the wedding day, she took care of EVERYTHING. When I realized I'd left my veil at the hotel right before the ceremony, Raquel took care of it and before I knew it, my veil had been fetched from across the city. When my bridesmaid's dress strap broke right before she was set to walk down the aisle, Raquel handled it. I truly did not need to think about anything other than enjoying myself on the day. Think of a DOC as insurance for your wedding. It's 100% worth it, and we highly recommend Dream Makers. -

Tara was a total professional and I think she could coordinate a wedding with her eyes closed! By the time I arrived at the venue, everything was set and ready to go, which was a huge weight off my shoulders. It was a total relief having someone like her around to make sure everything was running smoothly.
The only reason I took one star was because some of the items weren't set according to the layout I had provided her. Not a huge deal in the end, and no guest would have had any clue, but I noticed (and it was kinda too late to make any adjustments at that point, so I told her it was fine)... She also left early, which was unexpected. Her assistant did stay, so we weren't left totally without support, but it caught me off guard to hear she had left. -

I hired Tara as my day of coordinator for my spring wedding at the Green Building in Brooklyn, and it was one one the best decisions I made. From our first meeting I could tell she was organized, experienced and professional. In other words, a dream to work with. The wedding day went off flawlessly thanks to her.
Her detailed spreadsheets helped keep me organized, and I was glad to hear she had worked with many of our vendors already. She also made great recommendations about things we hadn't thought of. And she listened to all my concerns and last minute emergencies, and made sure it wasn't a problem on the big day.
It's hard to relinquish control when planning such a big event, but I felt fully confident doing so with Tara. The venue looked amazing and the schedule stayed right on track. My wedding was perfect, and I have Tara to thank for making sure all the moving pieces went off without a hitch. I couldn't recommend hiring her enough. -

Raquel will have your back!
We hired Raquel at Dream Makers as our day of coordinator and had a great experience. She met with us at the venue for the first time and was totally on point. To be honest, that meeting was a real wake-up call. There were so many things she asked about that we hadn't even considered. She shared a check list with us that got us super organized.
On the day of the event she was a machine. There's really only so much you can do to prepare for an event like that, and on the day of, the last thing you want is to start freaking out because of some tiny thing that didn't go exactly as it was supposed to. Raquel handled everything seamlessly. And frankly, if there were any big mishaps, we had no idea. She had it covered! -

It was very easy woking with Tara! She really knows her stuff and we had total confidence in her to help build our raw space up at our outdoor wedding. Everything ran very smoothly and we had a great time! She is very prompt and on the ball. It's nice you can do various packages -- ideal for someone/a couple who have already done a lot of planning going into the wedding -

We don't recommend
We unfortunately can’t recommend using Dream Makers.
We had to postpone and then cancel our wedding because of the pandemic. All of our other vendors were amazing in how supportive and understanding they were in helping us through this difficult time, but we didn’t really feel the same for Dream Makers.
Our communications during the pandemic made us feel like they didn’t really care about how this awful process was affecting us.
When we had to cancel our initial date, we thought it was in poor taste that they wanted to revise our contract, asking us for more money up front, even though they already had a 50% deposit and had done zero work on our wedding. Their reasoning was that they needed us to help keep their business afloat with really no regard for how the pandemic affected us.
When our second date, 6 months later again forced us to cancel, we knew we couldn’t go through the heartache of postponing another time. So we had to make the tough decision to cancel the wedding we’d worked so hard to plan and looked forward to for years.
Ironically our only vendor that actually had an Act of God clause in our contract was Dream Makers…
“If an act of God…shall cause you to cancel your wedding; we will require payment only for the time spent planning your wedding.”
Even though the deposit was non-refundable we were hoping since they hadn’t done any work on our wedding, they would return the deposit.
There were other issues that contributed to why we were disappointed, but If you're planning the biggest day of your life, you want to know that the people responsible for taking care of you, care about you, but we just never felt like Dream Makers cared about us. -
