We can’t say enough amazing things about Jo! From the very beginning, Jo was everything we could have hoped for in a photographer—engaging, charismatic, fun, and so easygoing. She instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, we had the best time taking photos with her leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day!
Jo captured every special moment leading up to our wedding, including our engagement shoot, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and the wedding day. All of our photos came out amazing. Every shot reflects the joy, love, and emotion of the day. She truly has a gift for capturing candid moments and the little details. Words can't actually fully describe how grateful my husband and I were to be able to work with Jo for our September 2024 wedding (and our engagement session before that). First of all, Jo traveled from Boston to a farm in VT, and not only did she and her wonderful assistant Janah keep our big families ahead of schedule with the family photos ahead of the ceremony, but they used their expertise to help direct us in the moment in a clear and fun way that made the experience a complete delight. Our guests couldn't stop raving about their professionalism and ability to pivot quickly and capture any moment. Jo shared the finished gallery with us much faster than anticipated, which was a wonderful surprise. She also has a really intuitive way of grouping the photos together so it makes it easy to look through, find your favorites, and share with others. Looking back on our gallery, we have hundreds of gorgeous photos spanning unforgettable candids to formals with families, all of which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. If you have the opportunity to work with Jo - don't think twice! You won't regret it. -

We absolutely loved working with Jo! From start to finish, Jo was quick/communicative, professional, and talented at her craft. We chose a package that included an engagement photo session, and we were immediately put at ease that we made the right decision. Working with Jo was truly a magical experience that exceeded all our expectations! Hiring her as our wedding photographer (8 hour package with second shooter) was the best decision. Her talent and incredible quality of work perfectly captures our day. She also managed and organized our many, many family members for the photo session seamlessly, even making that time enjoyable. Jo had incredible shot ideas and we're so thrilled with the full album she delivered, which was even early! She made us feel comfortable and responded well to our cues which was great. Working with Jo was one of THE best decisions we made for our wedding from start to finish. She captured our engagement shoot, a boudoir session (and kept this a secret from the groom), and our big day. Gorgeous lighting for fall / outdoor wedding
Jovani was a wonderful photographer to work with. From the beginning she was very open, warm, and willing to work with me on my wedding photography. My husband has a low tolerance for formal pictures and we both have large extended families to organize for photos. Jovani was excellent at keeping track of what group pictures we wanted, and helped us get most of them done before the ceremony so that afterwards we could just mingle with our guests. Most of all, the photos we got back (very quickly!) were STUNNING. The color and lighting was gorgeous and exactly the kind of golden hour, New England fall afternoon that I wanted. I would absolutely recommend her to my best friend. -

When I look back on my wedding experience and wedding planning experience, I say with absolute confidence, the most gratitude, and just the biggest sense of, ‘how lucky were we?!’ that hiring Jo / Bold as Love Studios as our photographer was the best decision we made. She is truly the whole package: phenomenal human being, amazing and consistent attention to detail, and her photos are STUNNING.
Going into the process of finding a photographer, I knew how important it was, and I also had no idea what to expect. I was overwhelmed. Should you really feel a personal connection? Can they really help as a wedding planning guide? Is this really one of the most important decisions? Let me tell you bluntly, YES, YES, and YES. But also, if you’re here, look no further. You have truly found the best in the business, full stop.
I vividly remember the first call my husband and I had with Jo as being so natural, relaxing, and fun. She made us excited about the process that was to come. Jo’s warmth, kindness, bubbly, fun-loving personality came through immediately and put us both at ease. She is so easy to talk to, and you know what else? She LOVES what she does. She LOVES her couples! We felt it immediately, her pure joy and passion for her wedding photography simply put her in a different league. But wait, there’s more, I’m not done. Jo’s attention to detail is, simply put, out of this world. She is a master at what she does! From the moment you send an inquiry form to her, she is with you every step of the way. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, the day itself can be overwhelming - if you hire Jo as your photographer, you can rest assured you will be taken care of to the utmost extent possible. She works with so many couples, but we never would have known! We always, always felt like her number one priority, she always kept us on track, and she always helped us manage whatever details we had questions on.
Finally, the final product. Your wedding photos. Jo’s work is stunning. She captured the love and joy felt on my wedding day in such an intimate, beautiful way. My wedding photos feel alive, I see both my truest self and my husband’s truest self in them, as well as all of our friends and family. I see love in a way I didn’t realize was possible to see shine through in a photograph. I reiterate that I truly believe hiring Jo was the best decision we made. If you are lucky enough that she is free on your date, I cannot recommend her highly enough. You will have the most beautiful wedding photos and a vendor partnership in which you can trust, relax, and have fun. I’m so excited for you!!!!!

So many to choose from!
Jo did such an amazing job photographing our wedding on 10/21! There are so many perfect photos that I don't know how I will ever choose a handful to print! Jo was so fun to be with throughout the whole day, and kept me calm. From the moment I met Jo on the phone, I knew that I wanted to work with her for our wedding. She is a true joy to work with, AND she is so incredibly talented! We opted for the engagement session, which I'm really glad we did because she helped us feel comfortable in front of a camera before our wedding. She had us laughing the entire time, and though we felt so awkward, she captured tons of really beautiful moments. Oh, and she also made a stellar recommendation for the location!
And then there was the wedding day. I couldn't have asked for a better person to spend the day with, and Jo's second photographer Amanda was also fun and professional like Jo. She kept us all on schedule for pictures that day, and again, just blew it out of the water with the photos. Not only did they come out perfect (the attention to detail, ability to capture moments beautifully), but she delivered them to us in record speed. SO IMPRESSED!
If we have another opportuntity to work with Jo, we definitely will. And we cannot recommend her enough for others who are looking for a very talented, super fun and energetic photographer to work with. -

Absolutely Perfect Photographer!!!
I cannot recommend Jo enough! She was absolutely AMAZING! When researching photographers, I noticed so many pictures were overexposed and very white, but Jo’s photos were natural and full of color! During our engagement session, Jo made us feel so comfortable and played music for us, and told us how we should pose! Our engagement session was so cloudy and ended up raining, so I was so nervous about how the pictures were going to come out, but they were truly breathtaking! Everyone who saw our engagement photos said that they were amazing! Jo was soo helpful with the planning process and provided us with a fantastic timeline! When it came to our wedding Jo and her assistant Amanda were incredible! They both have such great personalities and made us feel so special! The groomsmen took a sunglass picture, and one of the groomsmen forgot his sunglasses, and Amanda gave him hers! We received so many sneak peeks, and they were so amazing! We had an absolute blast with them, and we cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures! We HIGHLY recommend Bold As Love Studios!!! -

We Couldn't Be Happier with Our Choice!
We were thrilled to have Bold As Love Studios and its owner, Jo, as our wedding photographer! We had a fusion Pakistani wedding in June 2022. We searched for a very long time for the perfect photographer, and wanted someone with not only the technical skills, but the artistic vision and creativity to perfectly capture our special day. Jo and Bold As Love Studios not only met our expectations, they blew them out of the water!
We first used Jo for our engagement photographs and were impressed by not only the finished project, but how easy she is to work with. She gave us clear and simple directions for posing, backdrops, etc. - and this resulted in amazing photographs. It was the same when Jo shot our rehearsal dinner/mehendi ceremony and our wedding (for which she brought a second shooter).
When the big day came, the Bold As Love Studios team arrived promptly, and conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism. Jo put everyone in the wedding party at ease and everyone had fun shooting photos with her and the second shooter. They encouraged us, made us laugh and made my husband and I feel special and supported on our big day. You can really see this reflected in our photographs where everyone looks naturally happy and at ease.
The wedding photographs themselves turned out amazing. We had a variety of different shots (with Jo advising us on several shooting locations). The colors, poses and quality of the images was incredible. Jo has a very vibrant and dynamic photography style which matched perfectly with the theme of our wedding. We could not be happier with the end results.

The Absolute Best
I cannot recommend Jo enough! I had the pleasure of working with Jo in a couple of my friends' weddings before I was engaged and knew I had to work with her for my day, whenever that time came. My husband and I had no experience in front of a professional camera together and were quite nervous about it going into our engagement session. However, Jo popped on some music in the middle of the forrest, had us laughing the whole time and made us feel as comfortable as we could be. On our wedding day, Jo and her amazing assistant Amanda kept everyone on (actually ahead of) schedule and made sure we had every shot we wanted + some. We had the sneak peeks as soon as we were back from our honeymoon and we are obsessed! We can't wait to see the rest of them...and I can't wait to hopefully get to work with Jo again in the future! -

Amazingly talented!

Skilled photographer & awesome human — hire Jo!
When we first interviewed Jo, we still had other photographers to meet with, but we cancelled our other — we knew right away that she was going to be the perfect fit for us. We were choosing a photographer for our “post-covid” celebration, so not only were we already married, but we had already worked with another photographer. After our first mini celebration, we knew that it was going to be important to find a photographer who wasn’t just talented, but also had a great personality. We found both of those traits in Jo.
Jo was prompt in all communications and in her wedding day timelines. She helped us to figure out a schedule that would keep us on time, but still maintained an easy, go-with-the-flow vibe. As the bride, one of my big priorities was to enjoy the day with as little stress as possible, and Jo helped to make that dream a reality through her timeliness and her sense of humor. Jo truly kept us laughing and smiling all day.
Jo was an absolute pleasure to have photograph our wedding day. Not only did we come out of the experience with gorgeous photos that captured our day perfectly, but we had the joy of having Jo alongside us on our wedding day. We would recommend her in a heartbeat! -

Jo is Incredible!
Jo is not only a wonderful and special person, but also so incredibly talented. I spoke with her on the phone after she had been recommended to us by many other photographers, and I knew immediately she was the perfect fit for us. She makes you feel comfortable instantly with her warm, friendly nature, but she knows how to run the show and make your photos happen. Jo drove to a Rhode Island in a MONSOON for our engagement photos, it was a special place to us and she kept everything positive, fun, and the rain cleared enough for our photos. Flash forward to our wedding, Jo made me so comfortable, beautiful, relaxed and we got some stunning photos throughout the day. Let me start by saying: Jo is AMAZING!!! You will not regret booking her!!! She’s a GEM of a human being!!!
We reached out to Jo in 2019 when we were planning our summer 2020 wedding. From the beginning she was a pleasure to work with, kind, thoughtful, communicative, and helpful as we were planning the details of the wedding. Then of course, the pandemic happened and all of our plans were derailed. Jo was extremely flexible, understanding, patient, and worked with us while we were trying to figure out a new 2021 date (something that I, unfortunately, can’t say the same about other wedding vendors during this time). After we picked our new date and Jo was flexible and generous enough to still shoot, we decided last minute to still have a small ceremony that same summer. Again, Jo was totally on board with also shooting this smaller ceremony and hyped us up leading up to it.
For both the small 2020 ceremony and our big 2021 wedding, she was the absolute best. She has a way of making her couples feel extremely comfortable even if you’re generally camera shy. She is organized and helps keep you on track the day of the wedding while also making shooting photos so fun and joyful. The photos came out GORGEOUS and BREATHTAKING both times!!!! She also was quick with getting us our photos!! She really does an amazing job at capturing the moment and the love. You can tell she genuinely cares about her couples and is passionate about her work.

THE Best Photographer in the World
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jo (Bold as Love Studios). She is professional, positive, energetic, accommodating and beyond talented. During the planning process, she was incredibly patient with me while I worked through what I wanted. She was gracious when I couldn't make up my mind about some things, and gave me helpful suggestions. Jo is very communicative and responsive, and this eased so much of my anxiety about our wedding day. The day of the wedding, she was assertive yet gentle. She helped me corral everyone that I wanted photos with, which wasn't easy! I was so concerned about capturing little moments that I wanted to remember, and when I got all of my photos I was absolutely speechless. Jo captured SO many moments that I never thought I would be able to relive. I can't believe she was able to capture so much with just a photo. I have absolutely never felt so beautiful in my whole life. She got every angle just right so I looked my best, she got a photo of my husband right as he saw me walking down the aisle, she got my dad laughing at me when I started crying, she got everything I've ever wanted without me even knowing it! My husband and I agree that one of the best wedding decisions we made was hiring Jo of Bold As Love Studios. I met with a few different photographers, as I'm picky about photography style, and I wanted to make sure whoever we worked with had a personality that meshed with ours. What set Jo apart from another photographer with great style at a price I could afford was her warmth and enthusiasm. It felt like talking to a friend, and I knew she was someone who could help put us at ease since my husband and I are a little awkward.
Our engagement shoot was a great test run. Jo really listened to my ideas and had great ones of her own. My then fiance, who hadn't really seen the point of doing engagement pics, said afterwards, "That was actually fun!" And when we got our photos, we were thrilled with how great they looked and just how many Jo actually managed to take in just an hour!
Our wedding was rescheduled due to COVID-19, and we ended up having a microwedding in my parents' yard in September 2020, with the reception rescheduled for the next year. Jo was super flexible and helpful with this stressful process. Even though the day was a little hectic because we didn't have an event manager to run the show, she was calm, patient, and enthusiastic. When we got the rest of our photos back, we were so delighted with how many great shots she took and how beautifully she edited them. After looking through the album, my husband said that the photos made him really happy, and I agree.
The following year, Nov 2021, we finally had our reception. Jo was great about communicating ahead of time to review all the information about the photos, flow of the day, and who was who (since our bridal party and relatives were attending this time). She and her second shooter helped the day go smoothly and we got everything done in plenty of time. During the party they were able to get good shots without being pushy or intrusive. And there were so many great shots that it’s hard to decide what to frame! Jo also sent us the USB in a ridiculously pretty keepsake box.
So, bottom line: Do you want a photographer who will make you look great, help you feel comfortable, bring lots of energy, and provide great bang for your buck? Then Jo is your gal. We are so lucky that we got to work with her for all parts of this process and are glad that we partly decided on our rescheduled dates based on her availability. She was worth it! -

WHERE DO I START!?
We have been working with Jo for almost a year and a half at this point and she has been nothing short of absolutely AMAZING.
Jo's shooting and editing style is initially what drew us in but her creativity and wonderful personality hooked us from the first phone call.
Jo is bubbly, fun, creative, genuine, caring, hilarious, versatile, and will genuinely do anything it takes to make her couples/clients feel comfortable and capture exactly what they are looking for.
Plans for our special day changed a million times (COVID brides can feel us on this one) even on the day of (traffic and such made us 2 hours late) - Jo just went with the flow, offered her help in any way she could, was super patient and helped ease the stresses of the day.
She has become more like a friend than just a photographer since we began working with her. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone for all your photography needs! -

I absolutely LOVE Jo and her photography skills!! She's taken photos for our engagement and now our wedding. Which due to Covid had been downsized, but we love her so much she'll be at our "big" celebration next year!
She helps everyone feel comfortable which was so important for me when looking for a photographer. My husband is not the biggest fan of getting his pictures taken but after our engagement shoot, he told me he had actually enjoyed the shoot, which is huge and made me really happy!
Throughout our wedding she was supportive and encouraging even as plans changed again and again. The day of she was prepared and it was like having another friend in the room!
She brings life to the photo and you can see and feel the emotion behind each one. I love her humor and the way she understands you as an individual and couple. Highly recommend her and can't wait to work with her again next year! -

We did our engagement photoshoot with Jo on October 28 2019 in Newport, Rhode Island. I really wanted to do one part of this shoot with Indian traditional attire for which I was looking for a specific location. She was talking to us throughout the process and she managed to suggest us a perfect location. She was very patient to listen to all our ideas and suggest us with some other ideas regarding the photoshoot.
Working with her was nothing but a lot of fun. We enjoyed our time during the shoot. All the poses suggested by her were just so classy and naturally romantic. She took into consideration all our photoshoot ideas throughout. My fiance proposed to me during this photoshoot with Jo's help. She was always up for ideas and understood what it meant for us. She made our special day more special by capturing it so beautifully!
All the photos that she took were just the way we had imagined. They were very classy and professional. We were literally smiling while looking at all our pictures. We would love to work with Jo again. We just loved every bit of the shoot! Highly recommended! 🙂 -

DALB was an absolute joy to work with! From engagement session to wedding, everything was perfect. Jo and Janah were so kind and almost like a fly on the wall while taking photos. They gave direction when needed, but otherwise just captured us doing our thing.
Their packages are so fair, I feel like we’re getting a lot for what we paid for. That’s saying a lot considering a lot of Boston-area photographers cost an arm and a leg. Jo even recommended our videographer who was also awesome.
I’ll definitely be using DALB for future life events! -

Jo is a very professional photographer! reasonable price with excellent service! Our photos got accomplishment from our families and friend! She's very good at capturing these fleeting moments and we looked so natural in pictures- which is one the key point that makes a picture great! She's a very outgoing person , that makes our photo shooting full of fun and joy. so that we didn't feel shy at all when looking at the camera. I found her thru instagram # and I lover her style. and I believe an experienced photographer will have her own consistence style. so that I can be kind of sure what will my pictures be look like. Like I expected, we loooove our final edited picture and I highly recommended her! I def want her to take my pictures in future if I need a photographer! :) -

Amazing photographers!
Jo and her second shooter Jonah were amazing! They made all my jitters disappear on our big day! They were super laid back and very organized. They made sure we got all the pics we wanted. I wish I could get married again just to have them again!!! -

Jovani and her team are amazing! I worked with this company a year prior to wedding for an individual photo shoot (that my entire family went crazy over), so it was a no brainer that I would use Jo and her team for my wedding day! Jovani is extremely professional and detail oriented. Her biggest priority is capturing what you want to remember of your big day. Although she does seek a lot of input from you, she also is able to go with the flow and doesn’t need her hand held (and we can all agree that that is the last thing you want from a vendor at your wedding lol). Her excellence didn’t stop at the wedding. We received a sneak peak of our gallery about 4 days after the wedding. In addition, we had a preordered photo boxes that contain about 30 5x7 photos and a usb with all the photos from the wedding and Jo conveniently shipped them all over the country to our parents!! Needless to say, just stop your search and book Dream A Little Big for your event! ❤️ -

I found Dream a Little Big Photography on a whim while surfing craigslist - it was the happiest little accident I ever found. We were looking for a videographer for our wedding, and after viewing a few of the sample videos on youtube, I felt like they would be the right fit. Jovani (Jo) got back to me RIGHT AWAY and was so easy to work with. Her main goal was to get us what we were looking for, instead of trying to cram in what we wanted into a pre-determined package. Jo met with us over coffee and she is just such a warm presence. Her smile, kindness and love for what she does made the conversation fly by. She was so patient with me (I was that overly organized bride) and made me feel confident that everything was going to work out perfectly. A few weeks before the wedding, she jumped on a call with me on LABOR DAY and answered all of my questions. Her and her assistant Janah were just like one of the girls the whole time, we laughed and smiled and it just felt so right with the both of them there. We got our video back right on time, and I don't think it will ever not make me cry. It even made my Dad cry! Dream a Little Big Photography gave me the biggest gift I could ever have asked for. She was so professional, organized, and friendly, and she captured our day perfectly. She was open and easy to communicate with and she helped us plan timelines and create shotlists ahead of time so everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. I can't say enough good things about Jovani Rosborough, who works with such dedication and professionalism, taking in mind all of what the client has invisioned. My husband and I did our engagement session, pre engagement photos, and some pre reception photos with Jovani and she listened to what i had in my mind. I really wanted cherry blossoms during our engagement shoot, and she was able to help find us a beautiful location with the blossoming flowers and the pictures were beyond beautiful!! She even captured our proposal in the vedio. What I like the most about working with Jovani is that she literally helps you look your best with the posses and background scenery which you wouldn't think of or see it yourself. Also, if you come from a culture where certain elements are necessary to capture Jovani makes sure that it is included. In our case , for an Indian wedding photoshoot , Jovani so beautifully captured the henna on my hands and the colors of my dress. Jovani is so fun to work with, there is no uncomfortable or awkward feeling, she makes you feel at ease, super friendly and we have had some good laughs working with her. I would 100% recommend her , because she is genuine. Love her !! I will be doing many more photo sessions with her.

Jovani is pure magic!
From the moment we connected online, we instantly fell in love with Jovani's photography, her vibrant editing style and warm, fun personality. We knew immediately she was the perfect fit to capture our impromptu autumn wedding!
Working with Jovani felt like having a friend behind the camera. She made us feel so comfortable that we could completely relax and be our goofy, authentic selves. She was calm, cool and collected, directing us gently when needed and wrangled our families with ease for group photos. The way she captures movement is absolutely beautiful. The photos feel alive, natural, and so perfectly us.
We only booked Jo for three hours, yet she delivered a large gallery that feels so full. Every sweet, emotional moment from the ceremony, every tiny detail of the silly geese pie toppers and vintage décor, the happy tears and the laughter —it’s all there. Every single time we open the gallery we’re grinning ear to ear; it’s genuinely impossible to pick a favorite photo because we love them all so much!
We were also put at ease with how thorough and collaborative the whole process was. Her intake form allowed us to really communicate our story and connect with her about what details mattered most. She made the entire day an absolute breeze and turned what could have been a stressful part of wedding planning into pure excitement from our very first interaction to receiving the final gallery. Our whole album was delivered much faster than anticipated, which was an exciting surprise!
If you’re a couple who feels nervous about being photographed, Jovani is your person. She has an incredible gift for making everyone look and feel their best while staying authentic and carefree.

Working with Jovani was nothing short of wonderful. Trying to pick through a sea of photographers was definitely a challenge but after browsing Bold As Love's beautiful past work online and speaking to Jo on the phone I knew it would be a perfect fit. Jo was responsive, friendly, and collaborative every step of the way and delivered beautiful work. Taking family portraits the day of our wedding was definitely a challenge because our wedding party and family was larger than most and people kept disappearing or chatting amongst themselves. Despite these challenges Jo and her associate were patient and composed and still managed to capture all the shots on our (very long) shot list. I really appreciated when Jo was able to get a tricky first kiss shot we requested despite warning us that it may be impossible - we really loved her dedication to giving us exactly what we asked for! Aside from professionalism and expertise, Jo was comfortable, funny, and had great shot ideas on the fly that ended up being some of our favorite photographs. DEFINITELY recommend! -

Since our large Caribbean wedding had to be postponed because of COVID-19, my husband and I decided (somewhat last minute) to still keep our original wedding date by getting legally married with our immediate families in attendance on the roof of the Crane Estate in Ipswich. Jo was a pleasure to work with, and went above and beyond her photographer duties, especially on such a quick timeline.
Jo drove over an hour to do a venue walk-through with me a few weeks before our event, and suggested locations for solo photos, group photos, and even positioning for our rooftop ceremony- all of which were amazing suggestions, factoring in timing, ease of access, everything. The day of the event, Jo was a dream. Jo kept us on time, was calming (necessary for an anxious bride!!), and even worked with our officiant to position himself in the best spot for photos.
Even before seeing the results of her hard work, I would recommend her. But after receiving her photos, OH MY GOD. Perfection. It’s like her camera is a magnet for happiness. I cannot recommend Jo enough to you! -
