  The best wedding planner!

  The best wedding planning decision we made, hands down, was hiring DSE! We worked with Kelsey as our main planner and she was the best! Kelsey guided us through every detail, from finding the perfect venue to running the show on our wedding day. Kelsey has such attention to detail and organization, that nothing will fall through the cracks. She listened to our vision and truly brought it to life and then some with her creative eye. Kelsey has such a calming demeanor, she always put us at ease and found a solution when we had concerns. DSE also has great vendor connections and recommendations in the business, which was a huge help.
  
  When it came time for our wedding day, everything went so perfectly and smoothly. Kelsey and her team did an incredible job running everything in the background, always one step ahead and right there when we needed something. I had a blister and with the blink of an eye, Kelsey was there bandaging my toe with her first aid kit in hand. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how seamless everything was and how helpful Kelsey and her team were. Everything was truly perfect, we couldn't be happier.

  We worked with Jennifer at Downey Street Events. She was wonderful to work with. Has the best attitude when planning a wedding can be tough and was a superstar on the day of the wedding! You're in good hands here!

  If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further than Cassandra at Downey Street Events! Wow! She is the sweetest, most professional event planner I have ever worked with. Our wedding at The Fairmont, San Francisco was executed flawlessly due to Cassandra and her team of assistants. We received many compliments from our other vendors that she was a joy to work with and put everyone at ease on the big day. We booked her for day-of , month-of coordination services. Best money we spent! Cassandra was one of the first vendors to arrive and the last to leave, always with a smile on her face. I cannot say enough good things about her. If you would like to be a guest at your own wedding and not worry about the billions of details that go into executing a wedding--book her! Her calendar fills up fast so we were so fortunate to have booked her almost 20 months in advance. Thank you Cassandra for being our most perfect wedding coordinator!

  My husband and I were fortunate enough to work with Lauren leading up to our September 2013 wedding. I clicked with Lauren immediately. She is well organized, super knowledgeable, detail oriented, and tuned into her clients' needs! Hiring Lauren was really the best decision we made as she led us through a smooth planning process and perfect wedding day. Lauren connected us with many of our other vendors - including our DJ and hair and makeup - who we were also thrilled with and felt provided good value. Lauren was always conscious of our budget and never suggested expensive add-ons or things she knew we likely could not afford.
  
  Most importantly, during our wedding weekend (Lauren was on site for the rehearsal Friday and all day Saturday), Lauren was cool, calm, and collected, which helped us, our families, and guests to be the same. The 140 person wedding went off without a hitch and, even though she was orchestrating the entire thing, Lauren and her assistants were barely visible!
  
  Lastly, having Lauren on board really made us feel confident that we weren't forgetting or overlooking any major wedding detail and that we had our bases covered. I asked her endless, even random, questions, and she always had helpful advice and guidance. She added value at every turn!
  
  I would highly recommend Lauren for any wedding or event planning needs.

  I was someone who never thought she would use a wedding planner. I am now someone who would doesn't understand how someone gets through this, while remaining sane and happy, without one. Specifically, I highly recommend Lauren at Downey Street Events. She is seriously one of the the warmest, most nurturing and organized people I have ever meet. While I know (from a little bit of a less fortunate experience) that many planners are either organized or very sweet, it is much harder to find someone who is both. Lauren is that perfect blend of being laid back, sweet, supportive, flexible and SUPER organized. And that's exactly what I wanted, and what everyone should look for, in a wedding planner.
  
  We hired her as our month of coordinator and also as a design consultant earlier on. She was there to answer any questions, give advice, guide us to other fantastic vendors, and reassure both of us as well as my mom at one point. From the beginning, she gave us a flexible timeline of when we should aim to have certain things done by. It was very helpful to refer back to that from time to time and took the pressure off trying to do everything at once. If we didn't meet that time line, she would help us reorganize or give us a gentle nudge to get moving. And her day of time-line!!! That's a whole other review. Let's just say incredible.
  
  Once we found Lauren, wedding planning went from it's own special kind of terrible to actually being fun and exciting. It really made a big difference to have someone we trust and who has done this all a hundred times before. She is the exact person that we needed-- able to validate and calm any worries (real or imagined) while making everything not only seem manageable, but actually be manageable. Even our other vendors commented on how incredible she is to work with.
  
  Lauren listened to what we wanted, brought her own experience (from event planning in general, and design planning in particular) and really executed our perfect wedding. For anyone who knows me, they know I am a worrier and no one expected me to be calm on our wedding day. But I was. And so was my husband. In part, we were just excited to be getting married. And in part, it was knowing that Lauren was there, had everything set ahead of time and would handle anything that may come up that day.
  
  It was an amazing gift to be able to relax and enjoy our own wedding. Which is what it should be all about, right?!

  We loved working with DSEs - Emily helped make our last few weeks leading up to the wedding less stressful, and especially the day of the wedding. They helped us deal with last minute guest changes, wedding arches that wouldn't stay in place, telling everyone where to be and when, setting things up, keeping things moving - I didn't have to think about anything the day of the wedding. Emily did an excellent job keeping everything on schedule and making adjustments on-the-fly as things came-up. Love DSE - they'll help you enjoy every moment of your wedding day - let them take care of the details!

  Lauren is a dream-come-true. Patient, kind, diplomatic, and sophisticated beyond measure. She gets an A+ from my husband and me. She's the type of person that you always want to pick for your team.
  
  Let me start out by saying that we had a wedding in a really remote location - which made planning well ... difficult. But we couldn't pass up the venue - it was absolutely stunning. To her immense credit, Lauren handled any challenge the venue posed with grace and cunning. And, she completely "got' the reasons we chose this place and understood our aesthetic immediately. She was clever, extremely available and always helpful.
  
  Second, let me say that I am seriously an A type. To some, I am sure that this could come across as annoying.. but I never felt that Lauren was bothered by it. She understood why I was committed to making the details matter the day of. We worked very harmoniously together.
  
  As for day of execution, she was a ninja. Everything went off without so much as a hiccup. Without hesitation, it was the best day of my life and she played a very large role in making that happen for me.
  
  8.5 billion stars.
