Magical experience

I have to try really hard to keep this short and sweet because or experience from the first email I sent to the day we checked out was beyond amazing. I was blown away with the hospitality of this venue. Loretta and Yesi are by far some of the sweetest most accommodating people I have ever met. As the bride, I did a lot of the communication alone but by the time my mom, fiance, and mother in law met Loretta and Yesi they couldn't help but love them too.
The bridal suite was breath-taking and spacious. The view of the intercoastal waterway and the ocean was amazing. The ceremony space, the reception space, the food, and the customer service are unmatched. We left so incredibly happy and hope to visit again soon.

Loretta and her team made our wedding dreams come true

Let’s be real, there are SO many beautiful hotels in south Florida that you can have your wedding at... but let me tell you why The Double Tree is the BEST. LORETTA AND HER TEAM. My husband and I are not pros when it comes to wedding planning. We honestly had no idea what we were doing but Loretta and her team guided us through the entire thing. It was like having a wedding planner included with our package. She always went above and beyond to make everything we wanted happen, and was always just one phone call away when you needed help/advice. I’m so happy I choose this venue for our special day. An amazing experience, we are happy the way everything turned out.

The decision that my wife and made to choose Doubletree Resort by Hilton turned out to be a wise choice. They treated us exceptionally well. The coordinator, Ms. Loretta is the best is what she does, she is competent, meticulous, and was a pleasure to work with. She went out her way to make sure our day was special, I have nothing but good things to say about the service. The hotel, the staff, the location were amazing. They made sure that everything went well, and we were extremely please. I would recommend this venue to every couple, you won’t regret it. They were 5 stars all the way around. We could never thank them enough, my wife and I had an amazing ceremony, and we owed it to Them.

Amazing, perfect, everything we wanted and more

Loretta H. and Yesi L. were two incredible wonderful planners, managers, and all of the above at the Double Tree. My now Husband and I booked this venue for our wedding on October 20th, 2018 when it was still considered the Crown Plaza. Thankfully, Loretta was still there for us even though the hotel had switched hands. Loretta 100% knows her stuff! I am not the best of planners, and being a Bride, with everything else that you have going on in the way of finding vendors and planning things to a T, Loretta and Yesi helped me to feel like the actual venue space was not something i needed to be concerned about. As for the space itself, my husband and I did get married in the church so we did not need the ceremony space, however that same area was used for the cocktail hour and it was perfect. Lots of room for our 108 guests, and the reception space was even more beautiful than the first time I saw it. Loretta and Yesi made sure to have everything set to our specifications and it was the most perfect and easy day. Thank you both for everything you have done for us. To all you Brides out there, this place knows what they are doing, don't think about it anymore, BOOK EM!!

Spectacular Choice

Having just had my daughter’s wedding at this venue, I can’t say enough spectacular comments about our experience. From our first meeting with Loretta Hardial in February 2018, to walking out the door at the end of our beautiful celebration on October 27, 2018, all the staff at the Doubletree in Hollywood deserve 10+ stars! The entire planning process with Loretta & Yesi were totally worry free. I strongly recommend making DoubleTree of Hollywood your choice in planning your next spectacular event! I promise, you won’t be disappointed.

On August 10, 2018 I had my dream wedding with my best friend. The Double Tree by Hilton took care of me and my wife. The staff was amazing and everyone was professional if you are looking for a venue I suggest the Double Tree by Hilton you will not be disappointed.

Our Wedding was on Friday, April 20th, 2018 at the Doubletree by Hilton, and we must say everything was beautiful. Coordinators Loretta and Yesi did everything possible to assure everything went smoothly. They assisted with brining the vision we had for our wedding day to life beyond what we could imagine or think. We were very impressed and pleased with their services and would highly recommend other friends and family members who are planning a wedding to choose the Doubletree by Hilton as their venue. Every single person at our wedding said it was a memorable experience and they had a great time. Thank you so much Loretta and Yesi for this wonderful experience we had on our wedding day.

The Crowne Plaza was the second venue I visited when we were looking at places for our wedding. Upon meeting with Loretta and seeing the venue, I didn't need to see another location. From the very beginning to the grand entrance at the reception, Loretta and her team were top notch. The ceremony location is in a great spot, other guests did not interfere. The reception space is gorgeous. The entire staff at the hotel treated my family excellent throughout the entire weekend. We plan on going back to the hotel to celebrate our one year anniversary next year!

Loretta Hardial and her team gave excellent service for my sisters wedding. She went over and beyond our needs to make that day perfect. She was available whenever we had any questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Ms. Hardial gave us 150% of her excellent service and we really appreciate her for her hard work. The reception tent was beautiful and the food was delicious, we had received great compliments for the wedding and it's turn out from our guest. Thank you Loretta and her team and a big thanks to the Chefs and everyone who contribute to making my sister wedding day so special. Thank you again. The Wedding Team here (Loretta=Amazing) will make sure your Special Day goes off without a hitch.. My original wedding date 09/09/17 was canceled due to Hurricane Irma.. I thought that The Crowne Plaza would give me trouble, with all of the changes that came about, boy was I wrong. They were able to change it to two weeks later, 09/23/17.. I was able to change my guest count, due to all the cancellations from guest.. They were even willing to let me switch to the The Crowne Plaza in my hometown if necessary.. I’m so happy I made the decision to book with them.. They (Loretta) laid out the Red Carpet...A+ 5⭐️ The highest accolade I could give, Loretta, Her Team & The Crowne Plaza Deserves.

LOCATION:
Most of my guest came from out of town, and they all stayed at the hotel. The pricing was reasonable and they were all comfortable. They absolutely loved the fact that everything was nearby, including a 24 hour Walmart that they could walk to whenever they needed anything. –not to mention the beach (across the street) restaurants, night life etc. My guests loved having the opportunity to vacation while sharing with my husband and I our special day.

WEDDING PLANNING TEAM:
They are all extremely professional, resourceful, responsive. Always available to give me ideas or help me with any questions in a timely manner. They both made the entire wedding planning process very smooth and helped me not become a Bridezilla.
VENUE:
The renovated event room is absolutely amazing, the decoration inside, specifically the chandeliers, added a touch of magic to our wedding. It was roomy enough to fit all 160 of my guest comfortably.
CATERING:
When choosing both the hors d’oeuvre as well as the meals, they had a lot of options to offer. The day of the wedding we got a lot of compliments from the guests that they liked the food.

Thank you Crown Plaza for making my wedding day a memorable one! One that I know I will never forget!

We held our 40th high school weekend reunion at this venue. The Director or Catering (Loretta) met with us several times throughout the year while we were planning and was so patient answering all of our "what if" questions..... She never tried to "hurry us" out of our meetings and wanted to make sure that we felt comfortable with every step and was very professional answering all of our questions...Every part of the weekend (poolside bar b q and sit down dinner) went exactly as planned. Very happy with the results and so were the guests.

Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach Resort gave me the wedding of my dreams. I have always been a loyal customer to Crowne Plaza Hotels, and the Hollywood Beach location is amazing and breathtaking. Right from the start, I knew they would be a great fit. Meeting Loretta and Lourdes and working with them on the wedding was so carefree and easy. They have tremendous knowledge and class, and are able to give you many pointers as to what works and what does not. In the end, our ten year vow renewal was an event to remember. From the recommendation of trusted vendors, to the setup, and ceremony everything smooth sailing. My guests raved about the venue and the food, especially the delicious hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. The entire hotel staff makes you feel like royalty (valet, concierge, dining...everyone). I wanted my wedding day to be easy and just wanted to get dressed and have my event. That's exactly what I got. The vendors and hotel work well together and their service is second to none. My husband and I feel like not only did we get a great value for our money (due to all the perks and things included), but we have also gained lifelong friends in Loretta and Lourdes. Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach is the ONLY place to have your wedding. You won't be disappointed.

Definitely book this venue! This hotel is beautiful and so are all the people that work at it. Lourdes was amazing. She was very accommodating and organized. The day of the wedding she helped me feel very at ease because she had everything under control. She even helped me out. The night of the wedding I left my veil. I thought that maybe someone had taken it. She was able to track it down and she even mailed it to me. The entire weekend that staff was so helpful and friendly. The honeymoon suite was amazing and had such a great view. The package we bought included two rooms the night before the wedding and the night of. They brought us champagne and snacks the day of. The food was incredible. All my guest said that it was the most enjoyable wedding that had been too. The price and location are great. My out of town guest were able to enjoy all the Hollywood has to offer. But the view for the ceremony was the best part. The pictures came out amazing. I am so happy that I had my wedding here.

My husband and I just got married at this venue on Saturday this past weekend. I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the initial meeting to planning was a piece of cake and felt so at ease. The day before we just dropped everything off and enjoyed time with our family that flew in from Chicago before walking into the most beautiful ceremony and reception area. Everyone at this hotel was great and new us all by name the whole time. I will definitely be back to just say hi and stay a weekend here!

Our daughter's wedding at the Crown Plaza Hollywood Beach Resort was our third time hosting a wedding for one of our children. This was by far the best venue and the most fun. Lourdes and Loretta were incredible. Loretta responded immediately to Gina's concerns and requests during the planning of the event. Lourdes was amazing all the way up to the day of the wedding taking care of every detail. I forgot my print out of the reading I was doing during the ceremony and called Lourdes in a panic on the way to the wedding. She had it ready for me when I arrived and even made sure the font was big enough for me to read. Mike was in charge of the event that evening and also took care of every detail to make Gina's wedding the best. The guests are still talking about this as the best wedding they have ever been to and, thanks to the staff at the Crown Plaza, Gina had the wedding of her dreams. Can't recommend this venue enough.

We were extremely pleased with the service and attention to detail given by the Sales Team for the wedding of my daughter. The planning was painless and the wedding went off without a hitch from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. The food was above par for "hotel wedding fare" and the reception area was very nice and right off the pool where the ceremony took place. In addition the recommended vendors for photography and DJ was great. Thank you for a wonderful event.

There is nothing negative to say about this venue. Loretta and Lourdes are the BEST in the business. They take care of everything and make wedding planning a breeze. Coming from Atlanta to do a "destination" wedding, I was so worried of how I could put together a wedding 600+ miles away. These ladies were my answer. They are organized, on top of everything, and extremely helpful. They are the sweetest duo. They put up with my thousands of calls and emails and always gave me dedicated time. The venue is super cute too. The location is great and makes for good pictures by the pool and intercostal. The FOOD was raved about for weeks after my wedding. Everyone has called to tell me the food was delicious and the service was EXTRAORDINARY! Everyone did an amazing job and the guests could feel their genuine care and passion for doing weddings. You also get a suite for the night prior to your wedding and wedding night. Your groom gets a room as well for the night before. Everyone in the hotel went out of their way to make us feel extra special. I was SO happy and do not regret choosing them. My guests have not stopped talking about it and I know thats a GREAT sign. I'm just going to describe our experience with this venue.
My experience with CPH Beach Resort was wonderful! I had the pleasure of getting married there in February of 2016 and I couldn’t have made a better choice! My (now) husband and I fell in love with this place while checking out wedding venues, CPH was recommended to us by a family member.

We wanted a ceremony under palm trees on a beach or near the water and CPH offered just that, instead, facing the intercoastal waterway. The menu had many delicious dishes and we chose the Mahi-Mahi, Chicken Marsala with the pecan salad, we also had an open bar for 5 hours (which is a part of the package!). Our package deal also came with a wedding cake, wedding suite (2 nights) + guest room, which was a blessing as we were truly on a budget. Even better, we were treated to room service and late check out in the wedding suite the night of the wedding. The wedding suite was beautiful and of a very nice size with a jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, dining area and a wrap around balcony.

At one point after signing our contract and putting down a deposit, we wanted to cancel because of financial issues, but the Wedding Director Loretta Hardy did her best to work with us because she didn’t want us to lose our deposit. I’m glad she put forward such an effort!

All in all, we can say that our wedding day was perfect as it had largely to do with Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach Resort and we recommend this venue to you!

If you are looking for an all-inclusive location where you can sit back and relax during your wedding weekend, the Crowne Plaza is the place! Lourdes was an incredible coordinator, helping us with all the details we wanted (and some we didn't think of!) to make our wedding day perfect - we didn't have to stress a single detail, everything was dealt with in the most professional manner so that Andrew and I could enjoy our wedding day to the fullest. We also hosted a rehearsal dinner reception the night before, which alleviated a ton of stress right before our big day. Finally, every single staff member at the Crowne Plaza was warm, kind, welcoming, and accommodating for us and our family that stayed at the hotel. It was an incredible weekend from start to finish, and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding weekend!

I don't even know where to being! Crowne plaza did an amazing job on our wedding! Our wedding was may 28th 2016 and I couldn't have asked for a better venue or wedding planners! Loretta and Lourdes did and amazing job and helped you every step of the way. As much as us brides bug them they never acted bothered! This venue includes so much in the package that makes it all worth it! The staff was very nice and polite. The suite that comes with the package is absolutely amazing with great views which is awesome for pictures! The food was amazing and so many guest told us that the food was great. Crowne plaza is the way to go!

Loretta, our event organizer, was very friendly and personable. From the beginning she was extremely helpful. And her assistant, Lourdes was great too. We are very happy we chose Crowne Plaza as our venue.

After deciding to have a destination wedding and visiting different venues throughout South Florida we decided on the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach. The Crowne Plaza gives you that destination wedding feel and it has a beautiful pool. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the lobby was very welcoming.

Loretta and her assistant Lourdes were absolutely awesome!!! They were professional, out going, and easy to work with. They responded to every email and phone call in a timely manner and never made you feel as if you were a bother.

Once the day was finally here, every idea and vision that we had was put together so beautifully. We highly recommend having your wedding at this venue.

Last but not least we would also like to thank the pool attendants Thomas and Beatriz and one of our bartenders who also was at the pool, Serge. They were always kind and willing to offer their assistance.

We recently got married at the Crowne Plaza on April 25 and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we met with the wedding coordinators Loretta and Lourdes we knew this was going to be the place. They both are very professional, friendly and accommodating. Through out the entire process they made sure everything ran smoothly and they made certain that all our wants and desires were met! The entire staff did an excellent job and everyone had a great time!

Our wedding was awesome thanks to Loretta and Lourdes!!! We couldn't have asked for better wedding coordinators. they helped us every step of the way. Lourdes was on top of everything, from getting my guest list ready to picking the colors for the wedding. I called a lot and emailed a lot (I tend to do this when nervous) and Lourdes responded to all my emails and responded to all my calls, she was amazing!! She even helped us after the wedding which i was so impressed as most coordinators fall off the earth once your event is over. My guests were very happy with the food and service. Even during the wedding, the hotel staff was great, checking for everything to run smoothly. We are so grateful that we picked the Crowne Plaza Hotel Hollywood Beach for our wedding as the place is beautiful, amazing view and awesome service.

Where do we even start? We are blown away at what a fantastic wedding we had at the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach. We booked a little over a year out with Loretta who made us really see the value in not only the location but also in the package we would receive when booking with them. We knew we made the right decision by booking here. So many things were included and taken care of from the linens and chairs to the cake and hotel room. Along the way we were guided by Lourdes who was so polite, patient and easy to work with. She was so thorough and made us feel so comfortable in our planning meeting 3 months prior to our wedding. Our tasting was absolutely delicious and the portions were generous and not your ordinary dishes. We were blown away by all of the food and could only hope that it would be that good come preparing it for 100+ guests. The week prior to the wedding, Lourdes was there for us every step of the way. They were flexible with us and eager to meet all of our needs. We checked into our room the day prior to our wedding and it was huge and beautiful, with great balconies overlooking the pool and intercoastal waterway, which was great for pictures. The fact that it was included in our package was one less thing to worry about. We felt like a king and queen. The bridesmaids had plenty of room to get ready in this room on the day of the wedding and the groomsmen had their own room to get ready in. Lourdes and Loretta were onsite on the day of our wedding and handled everything seamlessly. Unfortunately, we experienced bad weather on our wedding day and they were so quick to put plan B into action 2 hours before the wedding. Although we couldn't have our wedding outside as planned, the inside option still turned out beautifully and ran seamlessly because of their help. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments on how great our wedding was. We recommend the Crowne Plaza to anyone for the great service, location and value. Thank you x 10000

My husband and I could not have asked for a better team to help us with the celebration of our marriage. Every step of the way Loretta and Lourdes were there to answer questions and give substantive advise. We can honestly say that we have wonderful special memories from start to finish. There aren't enough words to express how thankful I am to have found them. We planned our wedding in three months with Loretta & Lourdes there guiding the way as if we had a year to plan. I could not be happier to have had my wedding at the Crowne Plaza! Loretta and Lourdes were amazing! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Crowne Plaza Hollywood hotel and staff! I would highly recommend this venue to my best friends! Loretta Hardial and her staff are supportive, flexible, and helpful throughout the entire process! Not only was the space perfect and beautiful, but Loretta made every part of the planning process easy, which made the wedding planning more enjoyable for me. She made the right decisions so I didn’t have to and everything turned out more beautiful and perfect then I ever thought it could be.
Our family and friends had an incredible time during their stay at the Crowne Plaza. I can't tell you how important their staff made me and my guest feel from the moment we walked in until we all left 4 days later.

We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all at the CP- Hollywood Beach and loved every minute of it! Loretta and Lourdes were great at communicating before the event and were very helpful the day of. We couldn't have asked for better service!
The area where the ceremony is held is near the pool (which worried me a bit) but it turned out lovely. Our photographer was able to capture stunning photos and you didn't hear a peep out of the patrons enjoying the sunshine. The CP did an excellent job setting up our chairs and decorations we needed for the ceremony. They also removed the chairs at lightening speed so they could set up the happy hour. There was no stop in the celebration!
The tent area for the reception was everything we wanted. Uplighting came with the package and they have any color you would ever want! Also the ceiling has draped tulle and white strings of lights. Beautiful! The area is very clean and also air conditioned!
Our choices for food and drinks were extensive! The catering department makes just about anything you would ever want. We had mahi mahi, stuffed chicken, and steak at our reception and all of it was lovely. For our rehearsal dinner we did a poolside tropical BBQ. Even the picky eaters said they loved the food and people couldn't stop going back for more!

If we had the chance to do it all again, I would not change a thing!

Loretta and Eric were terrific! They were like having a built in wedding planner and made the planning process so much easier. They gave me great tips and suggestions on decor, vendors and the menu. They were so helpful with everything and made me feel like their #1 bride. The venue was perfect for our wedding, there was nothing I would have changed! The venue is amazing!! The meetings director is SO sweet and HELPFUL! My side of the family is all from MA and OR, so I was here in FL to plan by myself. Their list of recommended vendors was a big help- Yummy cake and the DJ was awesome! I went on my own for photographer and regretted it, but that was my fault! From start to finish, the meetings director Teresa was able to help me pick and repick my napkins, she was there when I had an inkling of an idea for my centerpeices and went above and beyond to make sure they looked the way I wanted them to! The food was delish! We had a few in our party with lactose and gluten "issues" and the chef was willing and able to work with us so they were able to enjoy the day too! Can't say enough! Great team over there! It seemed pricey at first, but when I considered and priced out what they include and others don't- there was no question.

I ABSOLUTELY loved working with Pam and Teresa at the Crowne Plaza in Hollywood Beach Florida. They were EXTREMELY accommodating and worked with us through every nook and cranny of wedding planning. They were there for the rehearsal and the day of the wedding to provide any help that was needed. Champagne toast and assistance to make the processional and wedding through the reception seamless. It was wonderful to work with them. The bridal suite was perfect and the honeymoon suite was INCREDIBLE. They definitely went above and beyond with their services.

Okay I have to say that the crowne plaza hollywood beach was the best find ever. You can't really tell from the street so you have to go inside. It's just beautiful. Palm trees, infiniti pool, intercoastal, huge tent, great food, delicous drinks, etc. Pamela Presley who is the lady I worked with planning our wedding made planning so much fun. It's only been two weeks since the wedding and my husband and I can't wait to go there for dinner and drinks. The hotel hasn't been open that long so most people I tell about don't have a clue where it is. If you are looking for a place - just go and check it out you will fall in love. My guests who stayed there for the weekend keep on commenting on how nice the staff was. Oh another GREATTTTTTT thing is that they only have one BIG room so when you have your party- you can almost be 100% sure there won't be anything else going on that night.

We could not be happier in our decision to hold our daughter’s wedding at the Crowne Plaza. When planning our daughter’s wedding we knew we needed a venue that could accommodate our 35+ guests coming in from out of town. Our daughter knew she wanted her wedding ceremony on the water. We looked at other hotel venues, but decided on Crowne Plaza based on the location and beautiful facilities. I knew based on my initial phone call with Lourdes that Crowne Plaza was going to be our venue. She answered every question, no matter how simple it may have been, in detail. They were quick to respond to phone calls and emails. Lourdes and Loretta were both courteous, and extremely accommodating. They even provided suggestions, i.e. some sort of fan for the guests since it was an outside ceremony, in June, in Florida. Of course, the hotel provided infused water for those attending the ceremony. The venue and location of the ceremony were absolutely beautiful. Having the cocktail hour poolside was an elegant touch. With guests arriving from out of town, we needed a “home base” for everyone to meet and plan the day and evening activities. The lobby, pool area and Elements (restaurant/bar) were perfect. The entire staff at the Crowne Plaza (valets, bellhops, front desk, servers, bartenders and poolside DJ) were wonderful. Thank you all for making our daughter’s wedding weekend so special.

Beyond My Expectations

Hands down I would choose the Doubletree all over again! This is one of the most important days of your life. With the team that the Doubletree has, Loretta, Yesi, and Julia, you can't go wrong. I was so worried about everything: the food, my guests, most of which were out of town, and not having a wedding coordinator. TRUST and Believe this team handles it all with professionalism and a smile. I was definitely in good hands. My guests loved the food, from the appetizers to the meal and the treatment they received from the hotel staff, was exceptional. I received so many compliments. This venue is a hidden gem! I was so worried about the wedding being by the pool because of the people, the construction, and my wedding was on a holiday weekend. It was perfect and my pictures are amazing! The wedding, the reception, the bridal suite, the food, the staff, and my guests all made my wedding unforgettable. Thank you Loretta, Yesi and the Doubltree staff, my wedding was one of the best days of my life.

We loved working with Loretta and Lourdes for our wedding on 5/15/15. They are very professional and knowledgeable in the business. They helped us organize the event every step of the way and decorated exactly as we wanted the day of the event. The venue is beautiful and we got some gorgeous pictures by the pool and at sunset. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks great - upgrade your bar if you can!
DO NOT HIRE HECTOR AS YOU DJ no matter what the hotel advises and recommends. We wend with him and he did not even show up for our wedding, he send us a replacement the day before and the music they played was horrible. Hector is unprofessional and unreliable. Be extra careful and do not forget anything at the venue, they did not find the items our guests and we forgot in the hotel room and wedding location.

My son and fiance booked the Crowne Plaza for their wedding guests and my husband and I organized the welcome/rehearsal dinner there as well. But we live in New York so we had to do all the planning via phone and emails. Loretta, Lourdes and Delmar always answered my questions promptly and took care of all small details. I was anxious over a montage that I had prepared and they were well prepared and we did several viewings to make sure everything went well, and I was very pleased. I recommend holding your event at the Crowne Plaza and Loretta, Lourdes and Delmar will not disappoint.

Had such a wonderful experience! Loretta was very hands on throughout the whole process. The food was great! Many of my guests mentioned how much they enjoyed the food for cocktail hour and dinner as well.
For our wedding we were dealing with some weather issues but everything turned out great thanks to the staff willing to do whatever we needed done to make the venue be perfect!!! Thank you DoubleTree, Loretta and her assistant Yesi!!!!

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and Lourdes was excellent to work with! The bar tender was very friendly. The serving staff was good, but we were never formally introduced to the "buffet captain", so we did not know who was in charge. When the food looked low, the only person tending the buffet left to check on it and the Vegan meals that did not come. Then there was no one left tending to the guests/buffet. The food was very good and Lourdes was so helpful making the choices. We did order 4 Vegan meals the day before the party and we were told it was okay, but the meals did not come and they did not even make them until almost everyone was finished eating. One of the servers brought 3 meals and when I asked him about the 4th, he did not respond very professionally. He said, You only ordered 3, but I will get another one for you. The meals were not even made until we asked about them and they arrived about 15-20 minutes laters. They were very good, aside from being late. Lourdes was very accomodating with the bar and providing a particular type of beer my husband wanted. She was excellent in all aspects of our event! Thank you!!

My experience with the Crowne Plaza was great. Both Loretta and Lourdes are extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire wedding process. They made sure I did not leave out any details and reminded me along the way of things I needed to take care of (as wedding planners would). The cocktail hour by the pool outside with the bistro lighting is absolutely beautiful and will enchant your guests. The white tent as a reception space is equally as beautiful. The only suggestion I have is to make sure your guest list is no more than 150 to fit comfortably and have enough space to dance. Great venue and great price. My night was magical! I would like to thank Lourdes and Loretta for a Job well done. There professionalism exceeded our expectations. Our Wedding was the most beautiful, well organized and planned wedding. Everything from the coordination of the ceremony display, to the most elegant food display I have seen in a long time and the hotel accommodations was a smashing success. The reception was as jaw dropping as the ceremony and we had the greatest time of our lives. My wife was very happy and looking back at the Wedding videos we could not ask for anything more. My wedding was directed by Loretta Hardial at the Crowne Plaza Hollywood. She is amazing! My husband and I live in Jacksonville, FL and with a couple of trips to Ft. Lauderdale she helped us achieve a picture perfect wedding. Loretta showed a high quality of professionalism along with being very approachable and your able to reach her at her desk and she provides you with her personal number. Most of our communication was via email for the pre-planning but the closer the wedding date approached we spoke via phone and by visits. Personally, I find that down south has really poor customer service, it appears that everything is fast paced and businesses only care about money. However, i did not feel like that with Loretta and her staff. The food was amazing, the venue is beautiful, and the suite is spacious and clean! She has the BEST Wedding Packages in Hollywood, FL/ Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The only trouble I had with my wedding was that she recommended a DJ by the name Hector. He is very argumentative, he will call you a million times for a payment and when you call him he never answer and when he do he answers by saying "who is this? We got a package from him which included Photography, videography, dj and some uplighting for around $3,000. The video was nice, my wedding pictures were horrible. The first meeting with him is very pleasant then it's downhill after you pay the deposit and sign the contract! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS DJ. Since Loretta is so wonderful, she would manage my complaint towards him and rectify the issues. I was married 8/9/2014 and we just got the video 10/15/2014, yet he promised that he will have your photos and video 30 days after the ceremony….Yeah Right Wait For It!

But what really is upsetting to me is the fact that while I estimated 65 guests, only 54 showed up. That meant I had food prepared for 11 more people and the food went to waste, Now you want to feed someone else. It is frustrating to know that I paid for the food, it didn't even get offered to me or any other guest who may have wanted it, or boxed up for later. Furthermore, all the wedding cake that I paid for, where did that go? You see, I highly dislike the fact that my money spent was not of value to the venue. I was so overwhelmed and filled with joy that during the reception, I had no appetite. However, after the event ended, (which ended early my 1 hour and 30 minutes), I was hungry. The venue didn' t have enough Budwieser for my guests as that was the top beer of choice. Yet I paid for open bar. I didn't know there was a restriction on the event. When I spoke with the captain of the reception, when he came around for me to sign a paper, he was not helpful with explaining any of this. Clicking the recommendation circle below is kind of hard, after my experiece. However, I have to admit, Loretta is fantastic in what she does.

It was great!

I had a nice Peruvian-American little wedding (50 guests) with family and closest friends. My experience in general was great. Loretta, Yesi, and Julia helped me alot as I live in Peru and my wedding was in Miami and I was able to travel just a couple of times before the wedding. Price is average, but could include more things for the price they charge per person, like desserts. Also I recommend to modernize decoration, carpet, and dance floor; hopefully with the new Hyde building. Their preferred vendors are also very good, even though I felt they were kind of imposed. However, all this Peruvian family had a great time and Mr. and Mrs. Lorena and David Coz had a magical day. Suite is super nice!

I was an out of state bride, so I'm sure anyone could imagine how stressed I was at the thought of planning my wedding a plane ride away. My husband and I had flown to FL for a long weekend to venue search. We toured about 5 before making our final decision. However, the moment I walked into the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach, I knew it was the one. I was looking for something with a tropical feel/vibe and CP delivered.

The moment I walked into the lobby I immediately felt comfort. The hotel has a cozy/comfy feel and it has pretty modern amenities. Then, we met Loretta. She was AMAZING. She knew her stuff and made sure to assure me that everything would be under control. She has many connections in the wedding industry and she made me feel like there was nothing she couldn't accomplish. My husband and I had already made the decision that we were selecting CP, just for Loretta!

I had my entire wedding at the CP - ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I also urged all of my guests to stay at CP as well.

After signing the contract, it was official and I was SO ready to get started. This is when we got handed off to Lourdes. Lourdes works with Loretta and she too is amazing. However, I do wish Loretta was a bit more involved since she was the original reason we selected the CP.

I have no regrets with the choices we made. The hospitality provided by Lourdes was 10/10! She worked hard to make sure everything was to our standards. She never said no. She got everything done that was asked. She went above and beyond her duties and even served as my wedding coordinator.

The food was amazing. The staff was beyond polite. The package was all-inclusive and came with many perks - like a couples massage, free food and drinks, etc.

If I was to do it all over again, I would. My only edit would be to actually hire a wedding planner. While Lourdes was on top of everything and served as great day-of planner, my expectations were beyond what a day-of planner can do.

it had its up and downs

The Hotel was on a location we needed, we have a lot of family in Canada and out of town from both sides, so we figured we had to narrow the location to a hotel and not too far from the airport. We had a block for 10 rooms which they were all taken. The rate given to me, was more expensive than the rate online or online hotel vendors, I called to complain, and Loretta matched it (I still don;t understand why they couldn't beat that rate to being with) some people booked through other sites because the rate given to me wasn't all that. The rest went on fine, Lourdes was a sweetheart and always tried to help, Loretta we didn't deal much with her, its like she pushed to to Lourdes and after we signed she didn't have to do much with us, except when i had problems with his friend/vendor who she introduced us to hire for our pictures, music etc.. SHE VOUCHED for him, we should have not trusted her and do our own research, she just sold it to us like it would be easier to work with one of her vendors.
The food, it was good, obviously presentation was better the day of the tasting but maybe that's normal.
The hotel check in, we asked if our welcome bags could be given at check in (if they couldnt be delivered to the rooms) The bags WERE NOT given, i had to hear from people the night before, and then i would have to call reception constantly for them to give them out or deliver them, i thought that was not fair, considering how much they cost to produce and put together for out of town guests.
Overall, a good spot, decent food, super expensive drinks if you want to hold a get together and hang out by the pool, but the bridal suite was nice and roomy, enough space for everyone and make up vendors. Just a lil sad there weren't good spots for pictures, but that would be on the photographer the hotel convinced me to hire.

Please take my advice. I felt cheated and lied to, at the end of the day the whole thing turned out beautiful, but I had to fight for what I wanted. I was a very easy bride to please and they took advantage of that. I live in Chicago, so after closing the deal they never told me they were being bought and and going to undergo construction. 6 months later when I returned for the tasting, they told me they were being bought and and showed me the construction that started. Then a month and a half before the wedding she called to tell me that the area I wanted to do my ceremony was gone. I never felt like they were actually trying to help me, but just keep themselves out of trouble. 1 month later and I am still fighting them over room charges, they charged myself and the guests like we didn't have the blocked rooms with special pricing.
