    This place is amazing! Nicole and her team did such a wonderful job of making our wedding something truly special. The wedding package they offer includes great linens, beautiful decor, uplighting, and I can't say enough about the food! I highly recommend using this venue for a worry free and affordable wedding experience. They include so many things that many other places we looked at charge extra for. Fabulous bridal suite, groom's ready room, and a wedding suite with champagne and special treats at the end of the night.

    Originally holding my wedding at a hotel wasn't my first choice but with having all of our friends and family from out of town it was the option that made sense. Now, I can't imagine getting married anywhere else and having it be more amazing. The way they are able to transform the banquet rooms to become so beautiful, magical and dreamlike is beyond my comprehension and truely art. But the best part of booking with Doubletree Brownstone was Nicole Dones. Without her I don't know how I would have managed planning a wedding. She is so kind, patient and understanding of every request. She was amazing when it came to coordinating the vision we had for the rooms, managing our room block and answering the millions of questions we had. For example, the night before the wedding we snuck down to look at the reception room and we realized the dance floor was smaller than we liked. I sent her a quick email (at 9pm!) and she responded immediately that it was no problem to adjust and sure enough next day it was perfect! Little touches like providing a bridal suite to get ready, bringing water and cookies up to us, providing us a room with water and hors d'oeuvres to enjoy after pictures and before we went into the reception, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our room at the end of the night is what made the day so special.
    The package they provide for the complete wedding is also what drew me to the hotel, such as including uplighting and linens. You get to go to CE Rental right down the street and choose from tons of linens.They were so nice quality and beautiful that my guests were amazed! I was even able to choose a purple sequin option for my cake table that was stunning. And finally the food was the icing on the cake. The food was absolutely phenomenal and multiple guests commented it was the best food they've had at a wedding. But best of all was how wonderful the serving staff and bartenders were- so kind and sweet. Book this place for your wedding!!!

    I cannot express in this email how impressed I was and continue to be with the work of you and your staff. You were so creative, but also fiscally aware of the needs of my wedding party and I. What a fabulous combination! The venue, the staff, the room accommodations and the food were all perfect! Even with one minor problem, we had you fixed it and made it all look so easy, but I know how much work went in to making this the perfect Wedding/Cocktail Hour/ Reception ever!

    Your professionalism, work ethic and dedication to ensure that I had the WEDDING of my dreams, did not go unnoticed and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.



    You did a fabulous job of planning, presenting, managing and keeping me on task during a difficult time of me grieving the loss of my mother. You took care of my every need and want, just like my mother would have if she were here.

    We chose this venue after visiting at least 10 others. Everything leading up to booking was just so easy. Great options and wonderful service. We work with Natasha who has been helpful. We had a little hiccup and she is flexible and understanding. We couldn't have chosen better!

    We absolutely loved the Double Tree for our wedding. We worked directly with the Catering Sales Manager Katelyn and she was absolutely wonderful. Anything that I needed throughout the entire wedding planning process she was there to help me with. Everyone that I communicated with there was very helpful, timely and professional. On the day of the wedding the even staff were wonderful and promptly provided everything that we needed or could ever want. The space was wonderful, the food was wonderful and everyone said that it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. I would gladly recommend this venue to anyone.

    This place is amazing and so is Katelyn Freeman. She made this process easy and painless. She is amazing and the staff as well as the service at Brownstone was amazing. My family and friends spoke so highly about the rooms and customer service at this hotel. The collaboration with CE Rentals is amazing, they had every color napkin and tablecloth you could ask for. The food was amazing and Chef was so nice and came and greeted us himself at our tasting. I love Doubletree and want to get married again just to do it all over. I have already recommended this place to a ton of people. Thank you Katelyn!

    Katelyn Freeman was our wedding coordinator at the Brownstone and she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with all aspects of our big day. The food was amazing, the staff was extremely polite and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about Katelyn and her staff, they truly made my wedding memorable and perfect!

    We had our wedding reception at the DoubleTree on May 30, 2015. We could not be more pleased with our selection of this venue. Specifically, we worked with Katelyn Freeman to plan our event. She is amazing! She pays great attention to detail, responds to emails quickly and truly made the process fun and easy. She really listens to your requests and helps make the event unique and special to fit your desires! When we went for a tour of the venue, they greeted us kindly and gave us a small bottle of champagne, two champagne glasses and warm chocolate chip cookies. Great first impression! The wedding package was all-inclusive: reception space including tables and chairs, dance floor, food, linens, set up, up-lighting, etc. You also receive a complimentary room the night of your wedding, but we chose to stay somewhere else, so my husband used the room the night before our wedding and stayed there with some of his groomsmen. DoubleTree does all of the set-up for you! You take in your materials the week of the wedding, go over how you would like things set up, and they take care of the rest! It was so nice to be able to know that it was in good hands and that all we had to do was show up on the wedding day. We did not have to buy centerpiece decorations, as we used materials that DoubleTree had including vases, jewels, candles, flowers, etc. All we had to do was buy a few more flowers and some floating candles. DoubleTree also provided utensils for the cake cutting and vases for the bride/bridesmaids flowers. DoubleTree truly thinks of the fine details of a wedding reception and takes care of all of those items. I wouldn't change a thing about our reception venue, decorations, etc. It was perfect thanks to DoubleTree and more specifically, Katelyn Freeman!

    My husband and I recently hosted our wedding reception at this location and everything was so smooth. Katelyn the sales and catering manager was great to work with and made sure everything was good to go. We worked a lot with her before the event and she went out of her way to make sure my husband and i were satisfied.

    The front desk was always friendly and nice, the rooms were clean and we didn't have any complaints from any of our guests staying there. The hotel was flexible to work with and didn't create and awkward restrictions.

    Overall i would definitely recommend this place for anyone else hosting an event in this area!

    We got married last Saturday and it was the BEST day of our lives! The venue was perfect and Katelyn Freeman was over the top amazing! It was beautiful and she was so easy to work with. That is really why we chose the venue. She was just so great. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. I would recommend the Brownstone, their food, rooms and Katelyn Freeman to anyone thinking about getting married!

    I have no hesitation about giving Double Tree 5 stars for our wedding as they were amazing!

    Katelyn Freeman was our contact at the hotel and she was absolutely the best. Quick to respond, open to crazy ideas (like getting married on the dance floor), and personalization of our package... she made the day go so smoothly and was a dream to work with! She met with us several times before the wedding and answered my many e-mail questions with no complaints!

    The food for our reception was great and I heard a lot of compliments from our guests. The linens that came with the package were gorgeous and was very easy to pick out and use. All of the staff who worked the event as servers, bartenders, etc were so nice to work with and so helpful to making the wedding day flow. The hotel has a closet of centerpiece items that we took advantage of and personalized as well.

    Our hotel room was also very nice and a perfect way to end the night!

    In the end, if I had to do my wedding over again- I wouldn't hesitate to use Double Tree and would do everything the same! They treated me like their most important customer and made my wedding day perfect!

    My husband and I were very pleased with The Double Tree Hilton and especially Katelyn (our catering sales manager)!! She was always very quick to get back with us when we had any questions regarding our reception. She was so friendly and easy to work with. She was so helpful with the planning and colors (linens) I told her I knew she would choose what looked best and it definitely did. My guests loved the colors and setup of decor :)

    Our reception was about 200 people and Katelyn made sure everything went smoothly and as a bride I never had to worry and knew she would make sure all the decorations were placed out and looked fabulous before the guest arrived! The food was amazing. The chef did an awesome job. We had so many compliments about the dinner and how much they loved it all, especially the homemade cheese ravioli's :) The bartenders did a great job as well and there was never any long waits at the bar for drinks!

    Travis and I were so busy with our guests and dancing during our reception that we didn't get much to eat...Katelyn made sure our complimentary suite had plenty of food waiting for us after the evening was over!

    Overall, we were extremely pleased with all the staff that worked with us and helped make our special evening one to remember. We had many out of state family and friends stay at the hotel. Derek was awesome and extremely friendly. He was very helpful with booking our family and friends rooms and helping Travis and Me out with anything we needed! We also made welcome bags for our guests as they arrived and the front desk were on top of handing them out :)

    I would definitely recommend Katelyn and the double tree hilton as a vendor! You will not be disappointed and they are very professional and they treat the bride and groom like they should be treated on their wedding day. We were the most important and well taken care of!

    My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at this location. It was AMAZING!

    Katelyn (catering and sales manager) was very helpful and responded to emails/calls quick! She helped us with decor, linens, menus and etc. I told Katelyn my vision and she truly made it happen! It was all that I dreamed of!

    Chef was great too. At the taste testing he made sure he had the recipes exactly right that we provide to him. The food was delicious! On the wedding day he even came out and served us and asked if everything was okay! We felt like movie stars!

    The honeymoon suite was nicely decorated and we had a very comfortable stay. Some other staff members took really good care of us too and they were Cynthia, Richard, and Natasha. We were so happy with everything! I highly recommend this hotel for a of your services!

    After searching and searching for wedding venues we decided to have our wedding ceremony at the Rose Garden (Raleigh Little Theatre) and the reception at the DoubleTree.

    What originally caught my attention was the personalized wedding suite included in the wedding package and the group discount for out-of-town guests (we had a lot of them). The prices are reasonable (let's face it guys, weddings are expensive) and the service is amazing.

    Katelyn really helped me find a good fit for both my budget and guest list. She was quick to respond to my emails and always had an answer for me. We had a few members of our wedding party that tried to reserve rooms past the group rate deadline, Derek was very helpful and willing to work with us to get the rooms.

    I found the online system to be easy to use and it was really helpful to use the guest list manager tool to check in on reservations (you can also download a spreadsheet of the guests, rooms, days, etc.).

    Katelyn helped me out with decorations and we were able to see the reception room setup the night before the wedding. I wanted to have disposable cameras at each of the tables and I made fabric flowers to use as centerpieces, my mom brought personalized bags of hershey's kisses. The staff setting up the reception did an amazing job fulfilling these requests.

    I fell in love with the folks at CE Rental. They are a linen rental shop downtown and the DoubleTree does all of their linens through them. So many beautiful fabrics to choose from and the type of fabric you get depends on the wedding package you choose with the DoubleTree. They are very friendly and will take care of you!

    The folks at the DoubleTree are very friendly too...and will definitely take care of you!

    Free cookies at the front desk. Totally amazing!

    Working with Natasha and the DoubleTree Raleigh Brownstone was an absolute pleasure. She always had a smile on her face and was willing to go above and beyond to accomodate our needs. The ballroom was absolutely stunning and exactly what we had in mind. The food and service was spot on. Natasha worked with us over the course of a year to make sure everything was perfect, and it was. The guest rooms were updated, comfortable and clean. Pricing is very clear and reasonable. This is a wonderful, convenient venue and we would highly recommend it...especially if you get to work with Natasha!

    We (the bride and groom) would definitely recommend this vendor/venue. From the first time we set foot in this hotel all the way up to our wedding day we were beyond pleased!!!! Staff was professional, friendly, courteous, and on top of the job. Food is awesome! Lets not forget the DoubleTree signature cookies. We couldnt have picked a better venue to host our ceremony and reception (definitely met our standards). Way to go DoubleTree Brownstone. I hope to work with you all in the future!

    My husband and I found this place by the Grace of God. We live 2 hours away from this location and it was difficult finding a place when we don't live in the area. Our Contact was Natasha - on of the Sales Managers. She was GREAT and she was able to accomodate every need we had - inlcuding our limited budget. This venue not only gives you a place to host your wedding reception or other event but we also got a suite for free just for giving them our business. AND we got a HUGE discount for our guest rooms for the weekend. I could not have made our special day as special as it was without the professionalism and superior service of this hotel staff. They were and are Phenomenal. Ask for a free (warm Choco Chip) cookie at the front desk. Superb! If you spend over 4k for a small to medium guest list, I'd be shocked.

    Heather was great to work with planning my wedding reception at the Doubletree. She was flexible and very easy to work with! The reception was definitely first class! The room was decorated beautifully, the food prepared by the chef was delicious, the morning breakfast buffet is delicious, the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable! A lot of the family came in from out of town and we received only positive comments from everyone!

    The catering staff at the hotel were amazing! We stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding, and gave them everything for the reception setup with instructions of what we wanted done. They went above and beyond for us! The decorations were so beautiful, and the food was amazing! We couldn't have asked for anything more!

    The staff there was great. It was very convenient as most of my guests were from out of town. The ceremony room and reception room looked great and anything I needed they accomodated. The food was very good and our suite that night was great as well. I would definitely recommend this venue

    The hotel staff was wonderful and worked with me when I changed my mind on something every week. During the reception, the staff stayed out of the way but was able to still do their jobs. The food was excellent and the fruit displays was awesome. I would recommned this venue for a bride looking to keep her budget low.

    We hosted our wedding reception at the Doubletree and worked with Katelyn and Derek throughout the process. They were both very helpful and quick to respond to phone calls and e-mails. The hotel's policies were a bit confusing at times, but both Katelyn and Derek were more than willing to explain things in detail and answer any questions that we may have had. There were a lot of things included with our package -- food, beverages, linens, decorations, and uplighting, to name a few. We had fun with our food tasting, and it was easy to select linens through CE Rental. We also received a complimentary suite for the night of the wedding. There were a handful of other weddings/receptions going on at the hotel the weekend of our wedding, which meant that the staff was quite busy and that available rooms were limited, but overall we are pleased with how everything turned out!

    My husband & I are very happy we chose to have our wedding reception at the DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh-Brownstone-University! In comparison to other venues, the Doubletree had so much more to offer - a great location, space to fit our 100 to 150 guests comfortably, catering, linens, lighting, etc. We had the pleasure of working with Katelyn Freeman, Catering Sales Manager. From the very beginning she was very professional & accommodating to our needs. She did an amazing job coordinating the whole event & ensured that everything went smoothly! In an effort to TRY & save some money on floral costs, my mom & I put together some DIY table centerpieces. It was important to us that the centerpieces looked exactly as we had planned & were spread out evenly among our guest tables along with the floral displays. We could not be happier with how beautiful everything turned out! We received so many compliments & I owe so much of that to Katelyn & the rest of the DoubleTree staff! For dinner, we had the chicken piccata, salmon, & prime rib carving station served buffet style. I was worried the food would get cold because we decided to go with buffet style, but I was so pleased on the day of the wedding. All of the food was warm, tasted great, & guests were able to eat as much as they wanted. It was very important to my husband & I that our guests have a great time & not worry about a thing, so for us an Open Bar was a must have! The only negative feedback I heard from family & friends is that they wished there had been 2 bartenders instead of 1 because they had to wait a long time to get a drink & they felt like they were missing out on other parts of the reception. Keep in mind, I had 100 to 150 guests at my reception & over half of them like to drink. All in all, the best day of my life turned into the best night of my life! My husband & I were able to have a worry-free GREAT time with the people in our lives that mean the most to us! It doesn't get any better than that!

    Doubletree-Brownstone was the perfect place for our wedding and reception! The entire staff was helpful from planning to actual execution of the wedding. Heather and Natasha were excellent to work with; they assisted us in planning the minor details of our big day and consistently stayed in contact with us from the time we signed the contract until after the wedding. Grace, banquet manager, and catering staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and was highly praised by our guests. When we did have a few issues, the staff at the front desk and managers quickly resolved the problems. The complimentary suites were spacious and very comfortable. Doubletree-Brownstone has a great reputation, and the ballrooms for our wedding were shared with another event. Initially we were worried about having the ballrooms set up on time; however, Grace and the banquet staff worked so efficiently to clean the ballrooms and set up for our reception, without any glitch. From beginning until end, the staff at Doubletree-Brownstone were there to help. We greatly appreciate everything they did for us and for our wedding. I would recommend Doubletree-Brownstone to anyone--wedding, birthday party, conference, and as a hotel stay. Thanks again!
