Thank you again to Bobbie B & Staff for a WONDERFUL stay and service to our wedding hotel block. Bobbie (Sales) was very helpful and kept in communication with us for over a year. We were able to have a great stay with 4 nights in their presidential suite. Everyone in our block said they had a relaxing stay as well.
Also, thank you for the recommendations you had for our family photos in the garden area! These pictures are going to look amazing. I cannot wait to see them all.

Barbara was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our wedding. I honestly don’t have a single complaint. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Birch River Grill and we also had our ceremony there as well. Everything was just perfect. Barbara made everything so easy for us and helped us in decisions that we were unsure about. She really put her heart into everything she did. We were very sad to say goodbye to her. The entire staff was so fantastic and accommodating and really made us feel special for having our wedding there. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for your wedding!!!! -

The doubletree staff was absolutely amazing! They made our wedding day so perfect! Our event coordinator Katrina was absolutely AMAZING!!! She was the reason we decided to go with the DoubleTree. We even had a few hiccups the days leading up to the wedding and she was right there trying to help the situation. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and calm for the big day. We only had our reception at the DoubleTree because we were getting married in a church. The catering staff was OUTSTANDING!!!! There was one woman in particular that really went above and beyond, we can't remember her name but we believe she would be considered the "Hostess"? She took care of the head table and she made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the reception. We found out the next day that she was there until 4 am taking care of all of our guests at the after party we had set up and then returned the next morning at 8 am to set up for the brunch we were hosting for all of the out of town guests. Overall, Katrina and the staff at the DoubleTree were absolutely amazing. They truly made our special day a dream come true! -

It was a pleasure working with the Doubletree staff for my 9/3/16 wedding! Katrina Loverde worked hard to ensure that no details were missed, and was a pleasure to work with. Bobbie Borowski handled my room block and helped ensure that all of my guests were accommodated. I truly appreciate the outstanding level of professionalism displayed by these ladies and the entire Doubletree staff. -

Katrina is the absolute best! She made our wedding run smoothly and was very open to our ideas. Bobbie went through all of the room reservations with us, and she made sure everything was correct. Everything was taken care of so we could fully enjoy our wedding! -

The Doubletree Arlington Heights was a great partner in planning our wedding. They were most helpful with working with me and our budget than any other venue where we inquired. The catering manager, Katrina, was always available to answer my many questions during the planning process, and they were flexible in the planning process to ensure that our day was what we wanted it to be. Their facility was recently renovated and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. Our out-of-town guests enjoyed the shopping and entertainment that the nearby Schaumburg area has to offer. We are still receiving rave reviews from our guests about how much fun they had at the wedding, and Doubletree was a big part of making that happen. -

Everything at the Doubletree Arlington Heights was wonderful! The day went exactly as planned and we did not have a single issue with anything. The food was wonderful and the staff was great, especially Katrina and Bobbie! People are still talking about how much fun they had! -

Everyone at the hotel was so incredibly helpful and kind. From Katrina to the people at the front desk and even the ones who sleazed up our mess at the end of the night. I do not think our wedding would have been as fantAstic as it was without the help of everyone that day. I am extremely grateful and satisfied with their work and dedication it really showed. -

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding than the double tree in Arlington Heights. The staff was very patient and knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding day! Katrina Loverde our coordinator was the best. She helped and assisted us with everything we needed. We will never forget the amazing wedding reception we had and it was all thanks to the staff at the doubletree! I recommend anyone to hold their reception there. -

We could not be happier with our decision to host our wedding at the Doubletree in Arlington Heights! Everyone at the hotel was so polite and accommodating, and Katrina, our coordinator, was absolutely incredible! She was so flexible and on top of things. As an added bonus she has a great eye and helped me with decor decisions. Any questions we had were answered promptly, and we never had to worry about a thing. The meals we served, peovised by the hotel, were delicious and our guests are still raving about our wedding! Everything was so beautiful and the whole process exceeded our expectations! -

After looking at several venues we selected DoubleTree Arlington Heights for our wedding reception (6.20.15). From the get go Katrina was a joy to work with. Katrina was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls, was great at providing suggestions, and was flexible and open to all of my crazy ideas for our travel themed wedding! I could gush about Katrina all day but onto the venue itself. The food was fantastic. The food tasting was delicious of course but how would that translate into a ~250 person wedding? The answer is delicious!!! The food was fantastic. The venue itself was recently redecorated and it's gorgeous. At every step of the way the staff (especially Katrina) went above and beyond to make our wedding special and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend DoubleTree Arlington Heights to someone looking for a wedding reception venue. -

I recently had a wedding reception at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago - Arlington Heights and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception venue. The service was impeccable and the social catering manager - Katrina Loverde was amazing to work with. She helped to make the day as easy and perfect as possible. I made several changes to the floor plan and she helped insure that everything would work. She took care of place cards, menus, napkin folds, favors, and other vendors to make sure they were where they needed to be. We had a Chinese Tea Ceremony before the reception and the DoubleTree accommodated that ceremony with no issues. My maid of honor was a little nervous before her speech so she was eating very slowly but the staff did not rush her and actually took her food and shifted it to smaller plates so that she could still fit all of her food at the table. A few of our guests were late and the staff showed them to their table and gave them their food as soon as they arrived. The bartenders did a great job with our signature drink the "razzle dazzle." Our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the food and the razzle dazzles were. We even had an after party at the Birch River Grill and it was the perfect wind down to the evening. We were given the presidential suite for 2 nights and the room and bathrooms were fantastic. We had the best experience there. -

I am really glad we choose the Doubletree in Arlington Heights. Their coordinator there, Barbara, is fantastic and extremely helpful through the planning process. The room really looked beautiful, and they were accommodating with many of the requests I had throughout the process. The price is similar to other hotels in the area, but I feel like you get many more options through this hotel then other in the area provided (longer bar, better food options). I also liked the option to have an after hours party in the bar. Being the only ball room there, it was really great that we were the only wedding that night at the hotel, and really the only event that they had to worry about. I am so glad we went with this venue. -

The Doubletree Hotel- Arlington Heights staff was wonderful and made our wedding day PERFECT!!!! Our guest booked roughly 40 rooms for the night of our wedding at a wonderful great price!!! Our guest are still raving about our beautiful wedding, and fabulous hotel service!! :) We have to give a BIG shout out to Vickie Boysen!!!! She was our event planner for our wedding!!! She goes over and beyond for her bride and grooms!!! She is like family to the both of us!!!! Her ideas are so creative and tries to save you money the best way possible for decorations!! :) Another BIG shout out to Bobbie Borowski!!! She took care of all the hotel rooms, booking, and shuttle service!! She attended our needs the best way possible!!! The Double Tree pulled through big time for our wedding! They did a fabulous job making sure every detail was done perfectly and up to my expectations. I had lots of details I wanted done exactly how I envisioned them and Gina, the wedding coordinator, and Mike, the banquet manager, made sure everything was just perfect! People raved about the way that the room look and that the food was fantastic. Gina is fabulous to work with giving great ideas and being extremely supportive throughout everything. Mike, the banquet manager, was also fabulous as he made sure the room and food was amazing and just what we were looking for.
Gina was so wonderful and met with us several times to get everything just right for our big day!
Our guests also loved their stay here and the staff was extremely accommodating throughout the whole process and throughout our wedding weekend.
If you are looking for a place that you are the only bride and are wanting a classy and comfortable feel the Double Tree Arlington Heights is perfect! -

As a wedding coordinator myself, I had pretty high standards for what I wanted our reception to look like and how things would run. The Doubletree absolutely exceeded my expectations and were so incredibly helpful during the whole planning process. We worked with Barbara, the catering manager, who always kept us well fed and happy when we came in for our meetings :) We wanted to have our reception at a hotel because it's all inclusive and didn't need to worry about renting things, working with a separate caterer, finding a baker, etc. We booked w/in 2 weeks of meeting with them initially and got seat covers for free as a signing bonus which made things look nicer. The price is a bit higher than a standard banquet hall, but we were willing to pay the extra bit for the added ease of simply being able to go upstairs (and getting the presidential suite included in our package) after the reception. The DT was able to replicate our vision for the reception perfectly. I had a lot of DIY things going on and the staff put in the extra effort to set everything up for us. The staff was also very professional and kind to all our guests. The best part of the reception was definitely the FOOD. We know when cooking for such mass quantities of people, the quality of food isn't always the best, but so many of our guests were so impressed by the food, which is all prepared on site. We had options for Asiago Chicken, Filet Mignon, and Eggplan Parmesan and everything was incredibly moist, flavorful, and all-in-all delicious. All of our communication prior to our wedding was prompt and they were able to accomodate just about all of our needs. We are 100% pleased with our reception and they provided a beautiful treat for my husband and I to come up to in the suite once the night was over. -

Katrina is a doll! She was super helpful. I originally had my wedding in Disney World in 2014. She was one of the many few individuals who understood what I wanted to do, celebrate my wedding with family who could not make it. Their minimum price was a little high for the number of guest, Karina worked her magic and brought the price down. She reminded us in advance for information we had to give her. Except to book our room block in advance. Less than 2 days before the reception I had to call a couple times trying to book rooms. Bobbie, who is part of booking, told us to stay at the hotel across the street from our reception. Yup I don't think so lady. She was super short and didn't have any sympathy for the situation. She basically was blaming us for not booking it on time. After much stress, they ended up "finding" rooms even though they said it was sold out. But a half hour before I called the hotel my Mother in law booked a room, so I was pretty pissed.
The night before we showed up at the hotel to set up the ballroom. We did everything ourselves from the centerpieces to the candy bar. Katrina kept checking in on us and helping when we needed it. When we went to the front desk to check in, they told us they had 2 rooms booked. We only needed 1 room for the night. My family and I were confused that originally they couldn't find us a room and all of a sudden there were 2 rooms for us.
Flash to the reception. Katrina lined everyone up for entrances. My only suggestion is to tell the bride and groom how to cut the cake and when to do it. Our video is funny since we both look way confused. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs. The food was amazing!! It is what everyone kept talking about. The bartender's was very nice. I did hear that when my dad walked by him, he had my dads beer ready to go! Kudos!
Overall the Hotel staff was okay, the food is amazing. Katrina is awesome. If it wasn't for meeting her, I might of not booked at this hotel. -

We had our wedding weekend room block at this hotel and used the shuttle to transport guests from the hotel to the banquet hall and back at the end of the night. Bobbie was pleasant to work with. I loved our suite that we were able to get. We even got champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a cheese plate from the hotel and free breakfast! The shuttle was on time as well. -

The Doubletree is a great venue if you are looking for a somewhere where your event will be the sole event taking place that night in their only ballroom. They set up most everything exactly as I described and were very flexible with last minute decisions like getting a backdrop and lighting the week of the wedding! You really can't beat the costs and the food was amazing. The only problems I ever had was that occasionally, I didn't get called or emailed back by the coordinator and had to constantly try calling until she responded. But she really pulled thru on the day of the wedding. -

Had a few bumps here. Katrina, the event coordinator mentioned in these reviews here, left very suddenly in the early spring. That's fine. It happens. But what should absolutely NOT happen is for the hotel to wait nearly a month to let the bride and groom know. We then had Julie step in, a new coordinator with years of wedding experience at country clubs and so much passion and excitement for our own wedding. As mad as I was about not being told sooner about Katrina, my first meeting with her went so well I had calmed down so much! Well fast forward to about two weeks ago I get a call from the hotel telling me that Julie will be taking an extended leave. So that was a week before the wedding, which I went into panic mode. But let me say that Barbra was fantastic! She stepped up and made the day so great and being thrown in to our wedding with such little notice! I cannot thank her enough! Also Bobbie! She was so patient with me!
Some things I was unsatisfied with:
Not being told Katrina left. That was total bulls***.
Katrina originally put in our contract to have the room block begin the day of the wedding. Guests were coming in the night before. Check in is only an hour before the ceremony would have started.
My matron of honor was in a wheel chair and there was no set area for a service elevator so we just had to keep sending the small elevator up and pray that the big one comes for her. Also her chair didn't fit through the door to my suite. Not very handicap accessible.

The food! My husband couldn't decide if he wanted the chicken marsala or the grilled salmon, so he ended up with a combo plate! My eggplant meal was the best eggplant I have ever had!
The servers! I am so upset I didn't get the name of the waitress who served my sweetheart table. She was fantastic! -

We used the DT for our room block and I was very disappointed with the planning process. We were told our block was full 2 months before our wedding, so I panicked and got another room block across the street at the Courtyard. Then, 2 weeks later, our coordinator Bobbie called us and told us that she could add more rooms to the block. It was just a lot of added stress to our wedding planning process since we had a large number of out of town guests and the accommodations were a big concern.
The weekend of the wedding went pretty smoothly, they did over charge us for our suite (we had 1 night free with 50 nights booked which they didn't give us until we contacted our coordinator) so that was a bit frustrating, but was easily resolved. -
