Mariah and staff are AWESOME!

We had our wedding at the DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte Center City, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything ran smoothly, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible coordinator, Mariah. She was organized, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was in place. Her staff was equally amazing—professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire day.

We had about 180 guests, and so many of them told us how impressed they were with the venue. The space was beautiful, the service was excellent, and everything felt seamless. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to Mariah and the entire team for making our wedding day unforgettable!

Wonderful experience!

Our wedding on Rooftop230 was phenomenal! It was such a beautiful view, and the service was unmatched. Many guests are still talking about how great the venue and food were. I’d definitely recommend working with the team because they were very accommodating to our multicultural wedding, and they always made sure that we were taken care of. We’d definitely recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have a stunning and memorable wedding!

Simply amazing!

We can’t speak highly enough about the entire team at the Holiday Inn Center City. Haley was nothing short of amazing the entire time I worked with her. The whole team there really makes you feel like they care about creating a magical day for you. The food is excellent. The venue stunning. And again the team took such amazing care of myself, my new husband, my family and my friends. From the moment we reached out all the way till the end we were met with quick responses, assistance and guidance, true professionalism, and amazing customer service. I highly highly recommend this venue!

Amazing!

Words can not express how thankful I am for their skill and thoughtfulness through the whole wedding planning process. You made something so complex appear seamless and easy. Thank you for making our wedding day the best day ever! Thank you for monitoring the rain clouds and moving us indoors. I had multiple guest comment that they thought moving venues downstairs was part of the plan and had no idea it was due to rain. Everything was so organized and perfect. The wait staff was phenomenal and so professional! All of our family and friends had the best time. I will recommend you to EVERYONE and ANYONE!!

Perfect Venue

We had our wedding in an October of 2022 and truly could not have asked for a better venue. Kayla helped us book and was accommodating and flexible, helping us plan for a rehearsal, wedding, and brunch at a great price for our budget. We had a lot of guests from out of town so being able to have all inclusive place was really important to us. Unfortunately, Kayla moved on in the months before our wedding but we were so lucky to have Jami in her place. We could not have asked for a better coordinator! She was integral in making our planning as low stress as possible. Not to mention she is such a genuine, kind and helpful person. They offered a menu tasting for us and 2 guests, where we met Chef Luca. His food was amazing! We opted for the ribeye and crab stuffed salmon and they were both a huge hit. We had our ceremony and reception on the rooftop which had recently been renovated and had a beautiful view of the city, especially at night. The day off went so smoothly and Jami handled all the food/beverage/set up so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Even months later, our guests still say it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! I truly could not recommend a better place for any event!

This hotel/team gets weddings!

This hotel gets weddings! Specifically, Laura Russell. Laura had every question answered before I asked and the details for our special day. As a same gender couple, we were unsure of the venue and the ceremony. Thankfully, we located this hotel on Zola and they made it magical. Special thanks to Haley Horton and Mariah Harris and their above and beyond level of professionalism, service, and compassion. The trio exceeded me and my spouse’s expectations!

Bougie on a budget

I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such an amazing venue. The entire experience was wonderful. The prices were super reasonable and they were very accommodating with my vision. We did not hire a day-of coordinator, but Laura Russell, the director of Catering, essentially filled that role without even being asked. She ensured the arrival of all vendors and that the wedding party and guests were being accommodated. She did all this while ensuring myself and then husband-to-be were being taken care of. The food was also amazing! Some of my friends still comment on how delicious it all was to this day and we got married in July 2022. Overall service provided went above and beyond what you pay for. I have 2 friends getting married soon and I am recommending this location or one of the sister locations to both of them!

The best weekend + experience!

As a planner, I will always recommend this venue after such a wonderful experience my couple had. This venue went above and beyond. My clients were one of the first weddings to have their event on their newly renovated rooftop space and WOW.

Guests are still raving about the food, the ambiance and the staff.

My clients had all of their out of town guests stay at the hotel, we had ceremony/reception and after party here and then we even had a send-off brunch the following day.

The team here worked with us on customizing our menu and vision. We had a rockstar team of vendors that pulled this event off and couldn't be more thrilled with how it came together.

The restaurant and bar onsite is run by a Chopped Champion, Luca Annunziata. The bar and restaurant was a great meeting point for all of our guests throughout the weekend pre/post events.

Everything We Wanted Plus More

All of the staff at the Holiday Inn were amazing. We contacted them just weeks before the wedding (due to our original location being cancelled). They understood how stressed we were and made everything simple. We came in for a tasting of the menu and were sold on using them for our wedding. The flexibility they offered and their ability to truly cater to our experience and preferences made them stand out. Other venues we contacted had restrictions, but Holiday Inn was able to accommodate all of our wishes. We really enjoyed being able to stay the night before as well as having a room the night of the wedding. We originally wanted a venue that our guests could sleep at so everything worked out in the end. Everyone received a group rate and our out of town friends were able to stay with us. The location is amazing. They are in the middle of downtown so we walked to restaurants and all of our out of town friends got to experience center city Charlotte. The actual wedding and reception was beautiful. We took advantage of having it on the rooftop with the reception downstairs in a larger room. We were nervous about the weather so they offered several locations as a backup, but everything worked out on the day of. We had a slight delay and deviated from the schedule. The team at the Holiday Inn worked with us to keep the show going and made everything run smoothly. I couldn't be happier how it turned out. The rooftop pictures on the roof are incredible and the finale sparkler pictures on the street are one of my favorite. Thank you to all of the staff at the Holiday Inn for making our day special!

Everything was beautiful!

My husband and I had our wedding on the rooftop rotunda & it was absolutely beautiful! The space was recently upgraded to include a nice green wall, which was perfect for photos. Our guests raved about how nice the staff was, and how amazing the food was! Kudos to the chef at Forchetta! The catering manager-Laura, was pleasant to work with, and made sure every detail was perfect. She worked closely with the vendors & coordinator to ensure our special day went smoothly. I would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Charlotte-Center City for your next event or stay!

Cureton Wedding

Could not have asked for better

This venue was so amazing I don’t think I could even find the right words. Laura and Mariah made my day so special. They always made sure we had everything we needed, and helped us before we knew we needed it! All the staff at the venue were amazing, from front desk to the waiters at dinner, just spectacular. Our families and bridal kept going on about how helpful Laura and Mariah was the whole day. The rooftop was beautiful and the greenery walls made for wonderful pictures. I cannot recommend this venue enough, i would give it 100 stars if I could.

Communication was very good. Molly and Kayla over delivered the day of my wedding! The best experience me ans my guest ever had.

From the very start, they do everything possible to accommodate you. Their vendor list is lacking nothing. Forchetta catered all my food the entire weekend and did not let me down at all. We had a meet and greet Friday evening for our out of town guest and wedding party. Saturday morning we had our rehearsal and brunch afterwards. Everyone loved the food. The bar is amazing too. Our rooftop wedding was perfect! We had about 120 attend our Sunday evening rooftop wedding. 82 people stayed for the reception which was also on the roof top. Our social hour was inside. We had two hor’derves with a cash bar for the social hour. We also had a great rate for our guest who had rooms for the weekend.

The price below includes hotel stay, two addition days cost for food Meet and Greet (22ppl), rehearsal brunch(20ppl) and wedding day (85ppl) accommodations. .

Amazing experience

Kayla and the crew at the HICC were amazing! They were very quick to respond to any questions we might have and replied to our emails and phone calls promptly. All staff that we came in contact with were professional and courteous and very sweet. The food was great and Kayla and her team did a great job decorating our reception space. I would highly recommend the HICC to anyone looking for a space in Charlotte.

Holiday Inn Center City was amazing

Nicole at HICC made everything that went along with planning the wedding feel like a breeze. She was patient, attentive, receptive and responsive. Not to mention one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met!! We also got to work with Kayla on the day of and she was just as amazing!! Best decision ever

There aren't enough good things I can say about this place. Nicole was so patient and caring throughout the entire process. No matter how many crazy questions I had (and there were a lot) or the amount of emails I sent, she answered them all gracefully and calmly. By the time our wedding happened, she felt like a friend that helped me plan the wedding of my dreams and no amount of words would be enough to say thank you. The wait staff the day of was attentive to make sure my husband and I always had water or a drink or whatever we needed. The food was AMAZING. People are still telling me how great it was. HIGHLY recommend this venue. It's a little pricier than other venues we looked at, but you get what you paid for -- and I'd definitely pay it again.

I'd pay to do it all over again... it was that PERFECT!

Check out the Holiday Inn if you're looking to celebrate your marriage with the following:

1. The most amazing and positive person to help you plan every detail from the rehearsal to the ceremony and reception to the farewell breakfast, Nicole is seriously the best, she always made a point to get back to us ASAP, and to help us figure out who we could contact and what we could do achieve our dream wedding. She went above and beyond for us and we are forever thankful.

2. The most amazing food, Chef Luca and his team were able to meet all of our dietary needs from gluten free to vegetarian to the meat lovers, his hors d'oeuvres were a huge hit during the cocktail hour, and everyone loved their meals. We did a seated dinner and no one complained about being hungry and not liking the food (and we have some picky eaters as friends)

3. The most amazing staff - from Nicole and her team to the Front Desk to the servers and bar tenders, everyone was polite and super accommodating, our guests were taken care of as if they were family, they made sure people had everything they needed and wanted

4. The most amazing preferred vendors - the Holiday Inn works with Ashley Bookout from Bookout Blooms, who was able to turn the Holiday Inn's roof top into the most picturesque space for a wedding ceremony.

What a great experience!

If you haven’t found your wedding and/ or reception venue, stop and check this place out. I promise you will not regret it. Wedding planning is stressful and I will hands down say our reception was the least stressful process all because of Nicole. Nicole always made sure we were comfortable with the decisions we made and didn’t have any questions. She always made herself accessible before we got married and the day of our wedding. I appreciate Nicole being detail-oriented, accommodating, and reaching out to our vendors the week of the wedding. My now husband and I decided to have our reception on the rooftop of holiday inn and I must say it was such a gorgeous evening! Nicole and her team made everything perfect, there was literally not one thing I would have changed. Not only was this venue spectacular but it was convenient to use their services for the food and bar portion of our reception. I have to add the food was absolutely divine and there was a good list of food options to choose from. Another thing that made this venue so great was the wedding packages. The prices were reasonable and it included many options. We appreciate Nicole and her team’s hard work in making our reception memorable with our family and friends!

This is your venue!

As a photographer, working with vendors can be tricky. However, Holiday Inn did an incredible job hosting our Kate Spade Wedding styled shoot. They made us feel right at home! There are so many rooms inside to host your ceremony and reception. They even have a gorgeous rooftop! I would highly recommend looking into HICC for your wedding day! They will take great care of you!

I seriously would not have been able to survive my planning process nor my Wedding day without Nicole!!! She’s absolutely amazing and worked with me and my husband with the price as well! Overall Wonderful

The wedding coordinators have truly outdone themselves. They work with you if you fall behind on payments or if you’re having a personal issue that has caused you to miss a payment. Communication is the key people. I love these ladies here & they have treated me like family. They have made everything that was impossible to accomplish to possible & I have accomplished it. Stress Free Experience!

I got married on 9/15/18, in the midst of a hurricane and the staff at the Holiday Inn Center City did everything in their power to make my big day great. So I didn't get the Rooftop wedding I really wanted. But I had a great time and had some truly awesome food. I would definitely recommend this venue for other weddings and events.

We had our wedding during the weekend when Hurricane Florence hit Charlotte. The staff at the Holiday Inn quickly responded when are church closed allowing us to use one of their rooms for our ceremony. Ashley Faulkenbery and Nicole Beally were absolutely fantastic and helped provide a terrific experience for us. I would highly recommend them. On top of the absolutely great event the food was fatatic as well. I am thrilled with how my wedding turned out especially due to the diversity of our circumstances. Highly recommend and a million thank you’s To the Holiday inn staff!!!

Our experience at the Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City was an AWESOME one. We got married Sept 2017 at the Holiday Inn Rooftop Siena. We did our ceremony and reception on the rooftop, it was beautiful! The weather was amazing and the scenery was amazing especially at night. The staff was great to work with, from the day we visited the venue (May 2016) until the end of the night of our wedding day. They were there every step of the way, answering all our questions and requests. Everything was perfect, they made the whole process 100% less stressful.

The food and bar was great. The menu had great options and lots of variety. We went with the open bar which was completely worth it, the bartender was amazing. All the guests loved her!

This is a great venue especially if you have a lot of out of town guests like us. Location is right in the middle of uptown, there's plenty of food, bars, and other entertainment for you guest to experience during their stay. Even the bar and restaurant in the Hotel is great!

Overall, if we could do it all over again. We wouldn't change a thing, best experience and service.

Thank you to ALL the Holiday Inn Staff (from the coordinators, front desk associates, servers, and to the bartenders) for making our special day unforgettable!

I had my wedding at the Holiday Inn Center City in October 2017. The staff, particularly Kat Wrona, were wonderful to us throughout each step of the process. They also helped with providing recommendations, which I was very grateful for. We also wanted a wedding where we could A) invite a lot of people, B) not go into debt, and C) have a nice-looking space. We had a brunch party in the ballroom and it was perfect for us. For those who are interested in more of an outdoor feel, the rooftop is beautiful. We got the best of both worlds, because we were able to take our wedding photos on the roof and party in the ballroom. The staff was very accommodating and everyone said that the food was very good. This venue is ideal for anyone who wants a nice wedding at a reasonable cost and doesn't want to have to deal with a thousand different vendors. All of the articles online that have tips for having a budget friendly wedding only work if you invite less than 50 people. If you want more than that, but don't want to go into massive debt, I can't recommend the Holiday Inn enough!

Kat was absolutely amazing. Going into the process we read other reviews about her being great and she was just that from start to finish. She went out of her way to accommodate and make sure we were happy during planning and on the wedding day. Her passion and professionalism is sharp. I would recommend working with Kat to anyone. Holiday inn city center has great wedding packages for any budget!! Great staff!

Kat assisted us throughout the entire wedding and was the maître de on our wedding day. She always treated us as if we were the only wedding which was extremely important to us both! The Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City is an amazing choice for a wedding if you would like a rooftop wedding!

When you think of the Holiday Inn you don't think of it being as grand as the one in Charlotte Center or even think to have your wedding there on the rooftop. My wife and I had just relocated from Florida and had already booked to have our wedding in Savannah. However with family being so close to us we opted to cut our losses and move our wedding to Charlotte. I had been searching for a venue for a few weeks and when I had called the Holiday Inn, our day was booked, so I was like there was not point of even going to go look at it. However once I spoke to Kat, I told my wife lets just go look and maybe if we liked we would move our date. When we got there Kat met us in the lobby gave us an amazing tour of the hotel. we were absolutely blown away especially on the rooftop. One side you can see the whole city line and the other side you can see the greenside. Best of both worlds. That Monday after we saw the venue . Kat called me with her pleasant voice, we booked that day with only 4 months to spare. Her communication is amazing

Kat, I just want to say a HUGE thank you for all that you did for our wedding! You did everything you could to make our wedding day smooth and perfect! My family and I did not have to worry about a single thing on our day, and it was so comforting to know that we were in good hands. When we walked into the reception, we all blown away by how incredible everything looked, and our guests were super impressed too! Not only did was everything perfectly, but you were there the whole day and night to make sure everything was spot on. Every time I needed something, Maria knew exactly where I had put it and went to get it for me. I cannot imagine working with anyone else and I am SO happy that we had your help! To everyone out there: I am so glad that Kat Wrona at the Holiday Inn Charlotte Center was part of our wedding, and you would be INSANE not to use them for your own wedding! Omg I’m not sure were to begin with this venue. Kat was so awesome!! Our wedding was 10-7-17.. was supposed to have been on the rooftop. Can you imagine your dream wedding being on the roof for you to be told it’s going to have to be moved in. I was hurt but Kat and her team including another vendor made it so beautiful on the inside. I had no idea of how it was going to turn out but they all worked together and did an amazing job!!

So I got married May 6th, 2017 here and had my ceremony and reception at The Holiday Inn Center City. I am a super anal person when planning any event I'm hosting. I was adamant about a couple of things and this venue came through 100%! The communication was great, the food was OUTSTANDING (I'm a cook and entertain friends weekly at my home and was so nervous it wouldn't be flavorful) and not your normal wedding food. We all know "normal, boring wedding food" and The Holiday Inn went above and beyond. I have had several compliments on how incredible the food was at cocktail hour and reception. The entire staff worked together diligently to bring my wedding inside last minute due to incliment weather and it turned out BEAUTIFUL. My guests were super impressed and had a BLAST. Laura is a gem to work with and Jami was incredible too!!!! The open bar was fully stoked and poured generously! Hahaha! They really helped me keep my wedding very personable and intimate. I could go on and on about each person that helped me at this venue. JJ at the front desk answered questions for my guests and helped them get acclimated. LOVE HIM!!! And the valet guys out front, ha!!! LOVED THEM TOO!! Just amazing people. If you're contemplating having your wedding here, DO IT!!!! Trust me, I am incredibly picky and these guys just KNOW HOW TO DO A WEDDING. They take care of EVERYTHING!!!! Your wedding isn't just another hotel wedding. They make you feel like that hotel was built for YOU and your guests. Haha! We took it to the hotel bar after the reception (12am) and went out uptown following the hotel bar. I would do it all over again. For the value you cannot beat it. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else. You'll thank yourself later.. :-)

Kat was fantastic. She was our third wedding coordinator (the others left the Holiday Inn) but you wouldn't have known it. She was always very quick to respond to emails. Any time I asked a question she gave great feedback. She was very accommodating anytime I suggested a change. The day of she was very attentive leading up to the ceremony and into dinner. She coordinated everything very well including our rehearsal. The food was great, the suggested list of vendors was very helpful and the ones we chose were fantastic, the waitstaff were very friendly, the rooms were nice, and the front desk did a great job making sure the room block guests got a wedding bag when they checked in. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with the Holiday Inn planning and having my wedding ceremony and reception on the rooftop.

This venue was a huge part of making our all our wedding dreams come true! Half of our wedding guests were from out of state so it was important to me that they have a great experience at the hotel. My guests couldn't stop telling me how friendly and helpful every single staff member was. We had no problems! Which, for a wedding with a lot of people and moving parts, I was amazed and so happy.

The services provided were excellent! Kat took over in the middle of our planning and far exceeded our expectations. The venue was very accommodating and quick on their feet when/if any changes needed to occur. The food was great (changes made just as we requested). If you are looking for an all inclusive no fuss wedding this is the spot! Karen Flowers, JJ, and the crew made every visit to the hotel be it for a consultation, meeting, or stopping by to make payment feel like a visit with old friends. We didn't have to worry about one thing the entire weekend of our wedding. They provided a list of preferred vendors from which I did choose my vendors although I didn't have to. However, each vendor on their list that I chose was TOP NOTCH!!! Karen was very accommodating from all aspects. Our ceremony was on the roof top, and the reception was in a ballroom. Everything was beautiful! Everyone that was in attendance raved about the venue. It's in a convenient and attractive location especially if you love the city life like my husband and I. Our son's Holiday Inn Rooftop wedding was unique, elegant, and beautiful! All vendors did an over the top wonderful job. Lots of choices and the wedding staff was wonderful in offering suggestions and making sure it was a perfect day. The food was beautiful displayed, ample, and delicious. The roof top was a great venue for the money! 100 guests fit there perfectly! The stars made the evening even more perfect! The wedding day went off without a flaw, Perfect venue, food, rooms, service!
My only complaint is the hotel needs to INCLUDE the service charge (22%) and sales taxes (7% - 8%) in the wedding price quote and include it in the payment plan. That way there is no shock to the couple that additional funds are required weeks before their wedding takes place.

I changed vendors to the Holiday Inn Center City months before my October 9th wedding and am SO GLAD that I did. The hotel and the team took care of everything. The catering, cake allotment and florist allotment is included in your per person price. The fact that they include almost everything is worth it all- food, linens, chairs, covers, setup/breakdown, a wait staff, bar/bar tender, the list goes on! Honestly, it was the most reasonable and accommodating vendor around Charlotte. We had the ceremony and cocktail hour on the Rooftop Sienna and the Reception inside the Discovery Ballroom. My pictures turned out GORGEOUS and I received endless compliments on how pretty everything was.

Karen and her team at the Holiday in were fantastic! We loved working with everyone and had the most perfect wedding at the best rooftop venue in Charlotte!! All of the coordinators are beyong accommodating and definitely went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met and that our big day went perfectly! We also got so many complements on the food which was really important to us and absolutely amazing by the way! Also the staff in general, from the bellman to the reception desk, bartenders and waitstaff all worked with such kindness and professionalism. I even managed to sneak in a few pics with some of my favorite staff members while taking my wedding pictures around the hotel :) We highly recommend having your wedding here!!! By far the best place in town!!

I went to the Charlotte bridal convention and out of every vendor there Karen from the Holiday Inn-Center City won me over. She was our event planner and was so helpful during the whole process of planning our special day. Karen made it so easy and that is exactly what I was looking for. The Rooftop at the Holiday Inn is the perfect location over looking downtown Charlotte. We had our wedding in September and it was perfect weather that day. Our guest were so impressed! The food was delicious. The entire ceremony to the reception was in perfect order and went smoothly. We didn't have any problems thanks to Karen and Corinna's help. They made sure our day was truly special and something to remember. . . Also during the planning process Karen was always quick to reply and answer any questions I had. Let me begin by saying, we would not have had the most perfect wedding day without the team from the Holiday Inn Center City! From the moment we met Randi, Karen, and Corinna we knew that the HICC was where we wanted to host our special day. Karen is a full time wedding specialist and catered to every need that I had over 3 months. She answered countless emails and calls making me feel like I was the only bride that she had. The rooftop terrace is a stunning place to celebrate an event and we couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful place! Every need that we had for the entire weekend was met. The HICC team also catered to the needs of our family whom traveled in to celebrate with us. The hotel in beautiful and the wedding team was extraordinary! Corinna was our event coordinator that day and facilitated everything I had planned perfectly! She checked on us countless times and helped us with anything we needed!
As a Charlotte Transplant, an experienced bride and a girl who loves the details, I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else in Charlotte to have my wedding if I had to do it all over!
I am so thankful for everything the entire team did to make our day PERFECT!

My wedding was seamless! The entire hotel staff knew who I was along with my guests. They were friendly and courteous and went above and beyond for me and my guests. Both Corrina and Karen were amazing. They made sure all was taken care of and you wouldn't even know they were there. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!!

I used HICC for our wedding ceremony on their rooftop and our reception in their 2nd floor Discovery Ballroom. I also used their hospitality lounge/concierge lounge for my bridal portraits. The all around value of what you get with their wedding package compared to downtown venues as well as other "all inclusive" venues around Charlotte can not be beat. We felt like we were even able to customize our package based on what was important to us. I highly recommend this venue.

There aren't enough words to say how wonderful my 50th Birthday Party was on the rooftop at the Holiday Inn Center City. The hotel staff went above and beyond my expectations. I would like to especially mention Ms. Jami Horton, Catering Sales Manager and Mr Adam Dietrich, Food and Beverage Director who answered every question, accommodated every need and made sure that everything was perfect for my event! I would also like to mention that that the front desk staff made all of my out-of-town guests feel welcomed. They continue to tell me about how great the hotel staff was!

I would highly recommend using the Holiday Inn Center City as the venue for your next event! You will never regret it!

We got married and had our reception all on the rooftop. It was amazing from start to finish! The staff were awesome, our planner made everything so easy for us! The food was gourmet, we received so many compliments. You also can't beat the view. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Absolutely loved having my wedding reception here. All of the staff was courteous to our guests and went above and beyond what we asked for. JoAnn, the coordinator, was extremely easy to contact and stayed in constant communication with us.

I absolutely adore Tracy! You will not find a better person to work with. The venue is absolutely amazing and the food was very good. The only way to go for a very unique rooftop experience in the heart of the Queen City.

The HICC was great to work with. Both Tracy and Rachel were very helpful/responsive during the entire 6-month planning process (I planned the wedding from out of town so this was especially helpful). The food was fantastic and the rooftop was the perfect venue for me. Most of my guests were from out of town and loved staying in the heart of the city. The hotel block was a great rate, especially for Uptown. Would 100% recommend this venue to others.

This is a group that really knows how to handle whatever happens to come up. We had a horrible storm the day of our wedding that made national news and even in the face of a flooding city, Rachel and her team stepped up far beyond what anyone could ask for and made sure we would have a memorable and stress free day. It was fantastic! The packages are very easy to work with and make planning your big day so much less of a headache. We looked at other places, but to then add catering and everything beyond the venue itself was daunting. Center City does it right! If you want beauty, affordability and simple planning, the Holiday Inn Center City is the place to be! My husband and I hope to come back in the future to do vow renewals!

AMAZING!! The venue is absolutely beautiful and definitely has the "WOW" factor effect. The staff is wonderful to work with. Tabitha, the wedding specialist, does a fantastic job. She makes sure that every detail, no matter how small, is executed perfectly. Upon meeting Tabitha, I instantly felt that at ease. During the planning stages, we communicated mostly through email. She was always prompt and more than happy to handle any of my requests. The weekend of my wedding, she greeted me upon my arrival and even helped me unload my car. She was by my side throughout the entire event--even just checking in on us periodically the day of the weeding to make sure we were ok. My ceremony and reception were both held on the rooftop. It was soo beautiful. During the reception it started to rain so we had to relocate to the ballroom (a decision Tabitha and I made together). The change happened so quickly and with great ease. The hotel even extended our open bar to account for the few minutes lost while the change was occurring. The staff handled the situation very well. My guests could not stop commenting about how professional and well done everything went from the ceremony to the reception to the change in location. The food was also wonderful! Many of my guests commented that they could not believe how much food there was and how good everything tasted. I was more than pleased with the Holiday Inn and the staff, specifically Tabitha, for making my day absolutely wonderful!!! The quality of service is top-notch. The hotel and staff bent over backwards making my day perfect. No one, including myself, had one negative thing to say. Excellent venue and a fantastic wedding specialist!!!

Rachel, the wedding coordinator, was AWESOME! She was so supportive throughout the entire process. She was always there and very quick to respond. Everything from start to finish went according as planned. Our wedding was on the rooftop and it was absolutely gorgeous!!

What can I say about the Holiday Inn Center City. They are phenominal Rachel Samuelson and Jody Young are the best wedding coordinators. Everything was up to my standards and they take good care of their bride and groom. The reception area was beautiful. I would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn uptown for your wedding venue. If you want a rooftop ceremony or indoors to one of their fabulous ballrooms. This is the place to be.

Holiday Inn Center City was an absolute perfect location for our September wedding! Rachel and Ashley did an outstanding job making sure everyone had exactly what they needed for the day! Caffe Siena was the caterer for our wedding reception. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had a plated dinner reception; all of our guests received their meals in a timely fashion and they all complimented the food. The appetizers that were served at cocktail hour were also delicious. The serving staff was friendly and efficient. The portion size was decent and the food did not come out cold, which I've experienced at weddings before. I would highly recommend this restaurant for catering.

Great All-In-One Location

The Holiday Inn Center City was good value and great venue choice for anyone planning to have their ceremony, cocktail, and reception all in one place. The venue was very accommodating to us as a same-sex couple who needed spaces for two brides. The guests enjoyed the menu choices.

I would advise having the hotel check for events happening in the area on your potential date. There was a food festival below and another rooftop event across the street. So there was unexpected and distracting music and noise during the ceremony. Some things are completely out of your control with outdoor ceremonies, so just be sure to ask.

The Green is less than a mile away which was a great place to get to quickly for photos!

We just booked this wonderful venue for our wedding and we are very excited!! Karen is amazing and flexible and she has been working with us already in every single detail in order for us to have the best day of our life. We can't wait to say "I do" on this magical rooftop!

The whole staff was great! they were able to answer all my questions during the planning stage and were very helpful and walked me through every step of the way. When the big day was finally here they were on top of everything and helped my quest with any needs they had. The weather didn't go as planned and we had to move indoors at the last minute and they helped make everything a smooth transition and got everything back on track. Beautiful venue and very convenient for all my out of town guest.

Working with the HICC for my wedding was such a breeze. They made everything easy, and I always felt that I knew what was going on with my wedding planning. Even when there were some hiccups with the planning, and some things were confusing, they worked with us and made everything right again. Wedding planning is stressful, but they made it so much easier. They worked with my rowdy bridal party with ease, and it was executed to perfection. I would recommend using HICC for your wedding anyday!

You really can't beat this venue. Everything is included in the price. We used the rooftop for our cermony and the ballroom for the reception. The food is INCREDIBLE, not at all what you expect for hotel catering. Rachel, the wedding planner at the Holiday Inn is amazing and attentive and I highly recomend dealing with her. Your flowers, cake and food are included although you don't get very much flowers so we opted to do our own and the price was deducted from the bottom line. They let you pick from 3 cake vendors, we went with the Wow Factor Cake Design, she promised a lot and had beautiful samples but I was very disappointed in what she delivered. The cake tasted good, but that's all I really have to say about that. If you want a gorgeous wedding for a insanely reasonable price, Holiday Inn Center City is a no-brainer! LOVED IT!!

Book as soon as you can! Great place for a wedding. Ours was in October 2016, and we had a beautiful ceremony and reception. I can only say that the day was unforgettable...magical. Everyone was surprised by how beautiful the venue was. Space, food, cocktails and the view was spectacular. Friends and family could not stop talking about how beautiful the place was. If you are a creative bride, this is the place to let your imagination run. Professional personnel and customer service was superb...best deal for your buck in Uptown Charlotte!!!

We had our ceremony and reception on the Rooftop Siena and it was amazing! Exactly the modern feel we were looking for. The food was top notch (we got soooo many compliments on that). Kat and her list of preferred vendors made everything a breeze. They accomodated all of my last minute changes and were super professional about it. We used the Olympic Boardroom to get ready and it was fabulous. Tons of space! The whole day couldn't have turned out better.

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my wedding, and thought the Holiday Inn did a fabulous job! The only thing I would change about it, now looking back -Is that I wish I would have had more say and control of the ceremony table arrangements and decorations. But overall, it was wonderful!

For us, it was a memorable experience, and the wedding day couldn't have gone any better. The service was perfect, scenery legit, and the food was fantastic (unlike some weddings I've attended). We decided after taking a tour that this would be the best venue for us. The rooftop is beautiful and seated enough ppl for our ceremony. The ballroom on the 2nd floor was great for our reception since we did not want our guests to eat outdoors. The staff was very helpful with our planning along the way and we had several appointments including choosing linens me chairs to doing a tasting of our meal to going over the layout mad they even let me take my bridal portraits in the hospitality room which came out georgeous. Our friends still talk about how nice everything was and how great the food tasted. Everything flowed well. I only had 1 complaint from the entire day---the punch that I paid extra for was not served during my pre-reception b/c it was windy. Then when the punch was served at the reception it was self serve and set up in the room off to the side. I feel like we paid money for something that wasn't really provided and that our guests didn't really know was available. Other than that everything was perfectly done. The value in the package deal was the best we could find around town for a venue where you could have both your wedding and reception.

Holiday Inn took care of our wedding very well, accommodating for us to a few changes to their package (we adjusted some beer choices) and made sure most things ran smoothly. One problem we had was the cake/cupcake management. I noticed at one point at the wedding that the cupcake tower looked low on cupcakes... and assumed that the cupcakes had been consumed... only to find out the next day there were 3 boxes of cupcakes in the Holiday Inn's refrigerator. While I'm happy to have so many cupcakes back.... I'm saddened to think that some of my guests may not have had dessert. Another tiny detail that stood out to me as an issue, was that they did not provide signs for the catered buffet. My guests told me they had to guess what the food was. It concerns me only because I would have made signs otherwise- I have some family members with allergies/food restrictions, so it would have been helpful to have signs made of what the food was and if it contained gluten, dairy, etc.

Other than those concerns, we really did have a wonderful day: I have to contribute most of the success of the wedding to all the help of Kat & the Holiday Inn. Thanks for making our day wonderful.

The matradin was young, but she had great time management. Her people skills was not very friendly. I also would have liked a to go box for myself anf my husband after the reception. When I called down to the restaurant to get more after the event there response was tha that it was all packed up. For all the $$ we spent we couldn't get a little food afterwards. :(
