Loved working with Dominique!!

We absolutely loved working with Dominique. I was a pretty anxious bride, and she helped keep me at ease through the entire process. She helped bring our vision to life, and we couldn’t have been more happy with how everything turned out.

She was organized, communicative, and always made sure we were on track with planning. She gave thoughtful, practical advice—especially when it came to choosing vendors and deciding where to invest in the details that truly matter. Thanks to her guidance, we felt confident in every choice we made.

On our wedding day, she handled everything and we were able to fully relax and enjoy the moment. It genuinely was the best day of our lives and Dominique played a huge part in making that possible.

Dominique was incredible!

Dominique masterfully guided us through the wedding planning process. We couldn’t have done it without her! She helped us manage the decision-making, timelines, and natural emotions that come along with getting married. Our wedding day was everything we could have hoped for (and more) and it is in huge part due to her staying on top of every tiny detail so we could enjoy it stress-free. Would highly recommend her services for anyone looking for help planning their big day!

In GREAT hands with Dominique!

Dominique is truly the best in the biz. I was completely stress-free on my wedding day. She took care of every little detail, big or small. I was able to enjoy the entire day getting ready with my bridesmaids and mother and of course the wedding itself with my husband and our 300+ guests, as Dominique was making magic happen behind the scenes all day and night. Bridal party and family members commented to me after the wedding about how professional and effective my wedding planner was. Now to the planning part.... I hired Dominique about 6 months before my wedding to be my "Month of/Day of Planner" which meant she would fully take over 6 weeks before my wedding, with 6 coaching calls leading up to the 6 week mark. Let me tell you, Dominique went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me in any way she could. Even if my questions and certain topics were outside of her contractual obligation, she willing helped me make informed decisions about my wedding. I felt really confident in everything my husband and I decided due to Dominique's knowledge, guidance and support. I plan to grab a drink with her soon to catch up on life because I miss her! You cannot go wrong with DBE!

Amazing!

Dominique Bell is probably the second best thing about our wedding day (obviously getting married was number one) Since our first meeting she was absolutely incredible, always having answers and keeping us on track without being intrusive or pushy. Having worked in events and being a project manager i need someone that i felt confident in, someone i could trust with every detail and know that i could relax and enjoy myself the day of - dominique was this and more. I could trust her with every plan and detail, i could also absolutely trust her on a personal level. When we needed to find vendors, she listened to exactly what we were looking for and would come back to us with plenty of options guiding us to the perfect choice. She was able to handle my family's intricacies and complex relationships with grace and kept the day perfect and wonderful. You are in incredible hands if you are lucky enough to have her as your wedding planner. She is a wonderful planner and an even better human being. If you do nothing else for your wedding, talk with Dominique and hire her for the best, perfectly executed, stress-free wedding day.

We loved working with Dominique!

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Dominique. From our initial call through to our wedding day (and even after), she was such a trusted partner and sounding board. We both agree that hiring her was the best way we had used our money throughout the entire wedding planning process. :)

In addition to facilitating vendor and venue management with diligence and detail orientation, she acted as our advocate in ensuring that everyone addressed all our needs and questions. There was no question or task too small or too big - she gave us the space to make our own decisions with her guidance and offered creative solutions to any issues that came up. We also leaned on her expertise in shaping the design and experience of our big day. Now that we've witnessed her in action at two weddings (ours and a good friend's), we can also share that she's unflappable when tackling any last minute changes or surprises that might come up.

Dominique does it all and, most importantly, with patience, humor and care.

So glad we had Dominique that day!

Dominique is awesome. I always knew I wanted a day/month of coordinator to take care of all the logistics for the wedding day and I’m so happy we got to work with Dominique. She was so quick to respond, offered her POV on things, and took care of everything without a worry. She also offered recos for dance lessons and transportation which both worked out great. I didn’t stress on my wedding day thanks to her and everything went so smoothly and perfectly. I can’t recommend her enough, I’m really so happy and grateful for her help!

I am as Type A as they come and I was having anxiety about the execution of the day I had spent one whole year of my life planning. The best decision I made was choosing Dominique. From our first phone conversation, I knew I could trust Dominique to be professional with my vendors and timely with her responses. She completely followed through and perfectly executed our special day. If you are debating hiring a pro, please know that there were so many critical moments in my day that could have went horribly wrong if I did not have a professional in charge. Our photographer mentioned to me numerous times how thankful she was that Dominique was there to keep everyone on track, and how we probably wouldn't have had time for our family shots if Dominique didn't step in and take charge. Most importantly was how well Dominique executed our very complex NYC transportation plan. 25 different vehicle reservations was anything but a simple task. Guests kept coming up to me saying how good of a job Dominique had done to get everyone on the vehicles and on their way. It was also so helpful to have Dominique at the Church thinking for me, so I literally only had to focus on walking down the aisle. Additionally, I specifically remember a key moment at the wedding where Dominique suggested a dance set that wasn't planned that pretty much set the vibe for the wedding. One guest forgot a card in a vehicle and Dominique contacted them to bring it back. So many of my guests came up to me and said how well Dominique executed all the details. There were so many critical points of the day that could have went so poorly if Dominique was not there. I started off wedding planning thinking I did not need help, but I truthfully think I would not have enjoyed my wedding and it probably could have have gone horribly wrong for so many reasons if I did not have Dominique by my side. I can’t thank her enough.

My husband and I are deeply grateful to Dominique for her work as our month-of coordinator. She’s an absolute pro: knowledgeable about all aspects of wedding planning, organized, attentive to detail, patient, and friendly. She did a great job communicating with our vendors; she offered valuable advice from our first meeting through our wedding week; and our families were as impressed with her as we were. But what really distinguishes Dominique is her unflagging commitment to helping a couple have a seamless wedding day. In the days surrounding our wedding, she took our our props and gifts into her own home so that we wouldn’t have to worry about transporting them. When we arrived at our wedding venue and the A/C wasn’t working properly, Dominique calmly and expertly put out that fire. And unlike other planners, she was willing to be available to us for the entirety of our wedding day, rather than for a set number of hours. In the end, our wedding day went off without a hitch, and my husband and I were able to enjoy it to the fullest extent thanks to Dominique. I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

Working with Dominique was hands down the best decision we made. I feel beyond fortunate to have worked with Dominique and can't imagine what the planning process & day-off would have been like without her. Technically Dominique was our '3-month out' coordinator, but she did SO MUCH more. For the year + leading up to my wedding, Dominique was responsive, helpful and always accommodating. I had ZERO concerns going into the wedding day because I was so confident in her and the team's ability to handle whatever might come up, and of course the wedding went on without a hitch! Not only did she make everything run smoothly, but she was a calming influence for me and everyone around me on wedding day. Dominique was an integral part of what made our wedding so amazing. We had only hired her to be our 'one-month/day-of coordinator', but she really went above and beyond. Although we were handling all vendor-sourcing, hiring and planning/designing, Dominique offered to be a resource for questions/concerns/recommendations as far as 6-months out. She even offered to do a preliminary 'walk through' way in advance so that we could validate some of our design choices before hiring some vendors. Also, she kept a lot of our wedding materials at her place the week before the wedding, and took stuff home afterwards (which we picked up later), which really took the burden off of us. Highly recommend!

With no hesitation, I can say that Dominique made our wedding what it was. She was poised and gracious from the moment we met her, to the wee hours of Sunday morning at our afterparty. No task was too big, small, irritating, silly or challenging for this remarkable woman: every thing we asked, Dominique executed with professionalism and at the highest standard. On the night of our wedding, AT LEAST 10 guests came over to me and commented on how fantastic they thought our wedding planner (aka Dominique, of course) was, and three of our friends are now using her as their planner for their own big days. My husband and I feel indebted to this extraordinary person, and could not recommend her more highly. To work with Dominique is a privilege of the highest order; if you're lucky enough to find her, USE HER.

Dominique is truly the best there is. My mom insisted on hiring a wedding planner for my New Year's Eve wedding in Jersey City, and I am beyond grateful we had Dominique helping us out. We booked her 6-week coordination package, which meant she was available to us during the 6 weeks leading up to the wedding and on the day of, of course. But Dominique still made herself available to us prior to the 6 weeks to answer quick questions or give us some advice or recommendations for vendors. Within the 6-week window, she essentially took over communicating with vendors. She created a day-of timeline for us. She made herself available for phone calls with me, or with vendors. On the day of the wedding, she arrived at the same time that I did and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She knew when each vendor would be arriving, and she coordinated everything. I just showed up and she told me where I needed to be and when. I can be a bit of a control freak at times, but I felt so comfortable handing over the reigns to Dominique! Additionally, some of our vendors had expressed how wedding planners can sometimes make things more complicated for them, but several of our vendors told me that they thought Dominique was fantastic and made their jobs easier. The only anxiety I felt on my wedding day was the normal "oh my god I'm getting married today" jitters. Dominique and her assistant were crucial to the success of our wedding day.

Dominique truly is one of a kind and made our wedding day everything we could have possibly dreamed of and more! Dominique made the entire wedding planning process beyond seamless and actually so much fun. We talked through everything together, and she was so on top of every single thing that needed to get done. I can truly say that I went through the entire wedding planning process without any stress because of Dominique. Not only is she so on top of everything, but she is so accessible as well and truly has such impeccable taste and serious attention to detail. When it came to our wedding day, everything went off without a single issue and people couldn't stop telling us how amazing Dominique was! I called Dominique 3 months before my wedding, when I realized I wasn't going to be able to pull it all together - so many details, so little time. She was calm, kind, and type A in the best way. Every call with her was just easy! I truly think that hiring Dominique was the best decision of my wedding. My father, who is notoriously frugal, was raving about how amazing she was and how he and the rest of the family didn't have to worry about anything during the weekend. Her assistant Keisha is also the BEST and was so sweet and easy to work with. Dominque knows Brooklyn like the back of her hand, and was able to suggest some awesome vendors too!! Thank you Dominique for making our very unique wedding (at Hill Country BBQ another AMAZING wedding venue BTW!) a weekend we will never, ever forget - and our guests keep raving about!! JUST DO IT! Hi There Bride or Groom to be! I was once in your shoes, reading reviews and assembling a team of vendors for our big day. Without question, working with Dominique was one of, if not THE best decision I made throughout the entire process. She is a true professional, and she knows this industry through and through. Not only did she help us plan a day that I am still (4 months later) receiving compliments on, she made everything so EASY. Her warmth and energy, organization, attention to fine detail, and creativity are some of the things you will notice about Dominique upon first meeting. What you will also learn later on, is that she is well respected by her industry peers, calm under pressure, and listens to every request with an open mind and an honest opinion, if you want it.
I had friends and family raving about Dominique to me after the wedding- saying how professional she was and always anticipating the needs of the guests. Above and beyond!
She respected our budget, and I appreciated when she would suggest where we could scale back a little (save money) and when to work within a slightly higher budget for quality's sake.

Dominique basically saved our wedding. Our worst nightmare came true when our rental company was extremely late due to an unforeseen circumstance and arrived only 30 minutes before guests. We rented everything from the rental company, including almost all kitchen equipment, chairs, tables, plates, silverware, etc. For a period of time, we were uncertain that the rental company would actually make it, and Dominique was on the phone trying to get in touch with the rental company, trying to arrange back-up rentals, and communicating with our other vendors (like caterer) that needed the rentals so that they could prepare as much as possible. When the rentals finally arrived she made sure that everything was set up in time. Everything ended up running smoothly and on time. The guests didn't even know that we had a major problem that could have very easily devastated our wedding. Quite frankly, I wouldn't have known that there was a problem if someone hadn't told me (my husband and Dominique actually didn't tell me there was a issue until the rentals arrived, so that I wouldn't stress out). Leading up to the wedding ceremony, our schedule was so full that I don't know what we would have done if Dominique wasn't there. Dominique allowed us to be fully present at our wedding, which is perhaps the greatest gift.

Aside from handling the rental incident like the consummate professional that she is, Dominique alleviated a lot of the time and stress of wedding planning. She was able to short-list vendors for us based on what we were looking for, and we felt like she really listened to what we wanted. At the same time, she gave us honest guidance when we were indecisive. Being very organized ourselves, we felt like Dominique was always on top of everything, and we never had to worry that something would slip through. She is also very warm and a joy to work with. Her planning services are worth every penny. We've already recommended her to friends.

i can't recommend Dominique enough! She was such a thoughtful, kind, and supportive guide to me, my husband, and both sets of anxious parents through the whole wedding process. I really appreciated her focus on understanding our priorities, feelings, and communication styles. She also did a great job on simplifying the endless decision-making into something manageable and even fun! And it was especially great to know that she was on top of all the little details (when will this arrive, what's on the horizon, where will that speaker go, etc.) and communicating with each vendor to confirm along the way (so we didn't have to worry). On the day of the event, she and her team were endlessly funny, professional, and supportive. I can't recommend her highly enough!

She is absolutely incredible in every which way you can imagine. I do not how we would have gotten through the day without her. We hired her for the month of services but Dominique was there for us throughout every step of the way. Providing advice on vendors, logistics, etc… whatever we needed Dominique was there.

As amazing as Dominique is she is even better when problems arise. We had a near disaster a few days before the wedding and she was instrumental in making it go away completely. She is worth every penny and the day of the wedding is her specialty. You get to enjoy every moment stress free and not worry because Dominque has everything and I mean everything under control!

While I had planned a good bit on my own up front, she introduced me to some crucial vendors that I loved. Dominique is the best wedding planner we could have asked for. She was extremely flexible and supportive throughout the planning process. At the same time when we were being indecisive about certain decisions that had to be made we could always count on her to offer confident, clear, and honest guidance. Working with Dominique allowed us to focus on what was really important which was having the best time at our wedding!

Dominique is super organised yet light hearted and nurturing. She is so well respected in the industry and knew which vendors we would like based on our conversations together. We felt fully taken care of and couldn't imagine having our wedding without her. During the wedding itself Dominique and her team were everywhere overseeing everything. My husband and I decided 3 years ago when we got engaged that we wanted to have our wedding in NYC. However, since we live in DC we knew we had to get a wedding planner to help coordinate everything. We are extremely fortunate to have been introduced to Dominique the day we got engaged! Ever since then (3 years in the making) until our wedding day (June 2016) Dominique has been beyond AMAZING, WONDERFUL, RESPONSIVE, HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL and an absolute joy to work with! Her connections and knowledge of NYC/Brooklyn made planning our wedding day carefree and simple! She was able to help us with things that never crossed our minds from hotels for us and our guests, picking out a photographer, the reception place, the florist, transportation, time lines and much more! On the wedding day she even proved to be more than a wedding planner! Her and her assistant became a florist (to fix my oversized bouquet), a hairstylist, shoe repairman, and anything else you could imagine you need on the day of your wedding! Most importantly Dominique has become a friend for life and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for all your wedding needs! We were able to fully enjoy our day with zero concern or worry about anything!

Dominique is an excellent wedding planner and worth every penny! We followed her detailed timeline and got everything done with time to spare. Dominique is hands-on and was willing to come to my dress fittings, florist appointments, and a meeting with the reception venue. She knows the industry well and can recommend hair and makeup artists, transportation companies, DJs, hotels, photographers, and videographers. She can also help with wedding-related events like bridal showers. Dominique also has great taste in food, flowers, clothes, and wedding spaces. She will understand and honor your vision and not lead you astray!

We loved working with Dominique!!!! She's absolutely amazing: so detail-oriented, organized, patient, calming, friendly, and best of all, willing to really allow the bride (or groom) to set their vision and then help them carry it out. We hired Dominique for the month of, but she was checking in and setting up meetings well in advance of the month before. Not to mention that she was always available to answer questions via e-mail or phone, whether it was 9 months out or the week before. As the months went on, we were in constant communication and she alleviated so much anxiety and stress. Love her lists and level of organization! Although she wasn't our wedding planner, and instead our month of coordinator, she was helpful in recommending shuttle bus services and food delivery (for the bridal suite while all the bridesmaids got ready). On the day of the wedding, and especially once the ceremony started, we had not one tiny worry at all - she pulled it off spectacularly! The night felt so magical and smooth. Our guests even commented on just how well our large wedding was handled. She also managed to seamlessly coordinate my very large family and was able to knock out 17 posed pictures in less than 15 minutes - that's no easy task! Whether you are the type A micro-managing type like I was, or a relaxed type B, she can easily deliver the same results. We would highly recommend Dominique!!!

Everything in Dominique’s reviews is spot on… She is a fantastic wedding planner. My husband and I actually had another wedding planner to compare her to. Dominique was referred to us when we had an issue with our first wedding planner. We interviewed a few people and chose Dominique on her personality, skills, and a couple unique features that were going to benefit us in the long run.
If you get nothing else from my review, this is the one thing: Interview multiple vendors for your wedding… and make sure Dominique is one of them! When choosing a wedding planner, you want to be comfortable with her/him. Keep in mind the wedding day: Who are you comfortable with asking to do things? Who will keep you calm? Who are you comfortable possibly being naked in front of? For me, this was 100% Dominique. I was completely at ease giving up control on my wedding day for her to take care of payments, getting the band set up, making sure the décor was how we wanted it, etc. I was also completely comfortable when Dominique had her hands in my dress to pin on my jacket, or up the skirt to pin up my bustle.
One great thing (out of many) about Dominique is that she has worked with a wide variation of couples and she really knows how to bring your personal touches to the wedding. She will also tell you that something won’t work, why, and what another option would be. But, she will also ultimately let you make your own decisions. And she has a stellar assistant!
I have touched on the day of, but as our reception ended and I went to collect my champagne flutes and find my stole, Dominique had already grabbed all of that and was headed to our room. I didn’t have to do anything but say goodbye to the remaining guests and enjoy the evening with my husband!
I could go on, but if you are like me, you want the bottomline. Call Dominique and see if it’s a fit. If she is, I promise she will do everything to make your day as amazingly wonderful as she did ours!

My husband I met Dominique at a caterer tasting. I knew immediately that she would be a great edition to help us plan our wedding. We meet with her one more time and we didn’t even look for anyone else. At the time we hired Dominique, we had already booked most of our big vendors, and she was very open to negotiating pricing to help us from that day forward. I cannot say enough about how she put me at ease through the rest of the process. The moment I got slightly stressed about something I would email Dominique and she would make it all seem so simple and easy and my worries would wash away. I was finally able to sleep at night without having concerns over a vendor or a wedding to do list flashing in my brain.

The day of the wedding I never even thought about one vendor or what was happening inside our reception space. I knew it would be perfect, and it was all because Dominique understands your vision and makes sure it is perfectly executed. Obviously there are always hiccups with one vendor or another on the wedding day, but I didn’t even know about them until after the wedding when we could laugh about them together!

There is no better money spent then on Dominique to make you feel at ease through the entire wedding process, help find you the perfect vendors to make your vision a reality, and to execute everything with such ease and grace. Also you will want to continue to be her friend after the wedding day!

The world of "people who get it" is a binary one. You get it or you don't. Dominique gets it, and resoundingly so.

The dizzying world of New York City venues, DJs, bands, caterers, florists, photographers, etc. only became manageable once we started working with Dominique, who deftly steered us toward the "real deal" options, and away from things that she knew from her years of experience were too logistically complicated/pricey/tacky/out of touch with what we wanted. When it came time to hire a vendor, she'd introduce us to 2-3 different ones (unsurprisingly they all love working with her, which simply underscores how delightful she is not just with clients but with colleagues), and in the few cases that we weren't satisfied, she brought more options into the mix.

Do a search on this page for the words "above and beyond," and I'm sure you'll find that it's practically Dominique's tagline. At every juncture, she found a way to take stress off our plates...and replace it with delicious catering options! Dominique's warmth and generosity of spirit imbued the whole wedding planning process with a positive energy and a sense of calm, reminding my now-husband and me to focus on what really mattered–the marriage–while she wove together the pieces of what, if I may say so, turned out to be a killer party.

If you're looking for an event that is authentic to who you are as a couple, and for someone who's smart, funny, and resourceful to help you plan it, breathe a sigh of relief because your search is over: Dominique Bell!

Dominique is amazing! She helped make our wedding perfect and memorable. Our venue recommended hiring a coordinator as they were pretty hands-off with the actual wedding planning. After my husband and I interviewed a few candidates, we found Dominique through our florist. We knew it was perfect match! Dominique made us feel like individuals - she sincerely wanted to make sure everything we envisioned for our day was executed perfectly (which is most definitely was). She was there for us from the very beginning, lending us her expert advise as well as sharing her extensive knowledge of NY vendors - if we needed something she had the perfect person to recommend. My husband and I made a lot of decisions while planning our wedding but I can honestly say the best decision we made was hiring Dominique as our month-of-coordinator. While she certainly provided the services and tools you'd expect from an experienced planner (vendor advice, suggested schedules, gentle nudges to do your homework, etc.) -- and did so superbly -- the thing that really made me * love * her was the way she handled our wedding day. Her demeanor conveyed that she was entirely in control of everything while maintaining complete composure. I felt 100% confident that she was taking everything seriously and handling it with ease, allowing me to actually enjoy myself. Several friends and family members approached me after the wedding to compliment how well she took care of something they needed that day, none of which I was aware of -- and that's the point! She's a total BOSS. I'd honestly hire her to run my life if I could. Do yourself a favor and stop searching. You're not going to do better than Dominique and her team.

Dominique was the best investment we made for our wedding, by a mile! My husband and I were initially hesitant to hire anyone (it was only at 80 person wedding) but we soon learned that even with a small wedding, the to-do list is never ending, and we desperately needed someone to take the reins.

Dominique and I negotiated a price that worked for us both and she immediately got to work (months before her official ‘month of’ start date). Dominique is so knowledgeable about the industry, super-organized and on top of everything. Right away, she began emailing me with ideas and things I hadn’t thought about, going over plan B scenarios in case of rain (thank god it didn’t!) and just generally being an all-around life saver! There are so many small details you can easily overlook when planning a wedding, and Dominique thought of all them. Her assistant Lakisha was amazing too, even buying our platters out of pocket when our vendor fell through.

On the day of the wedding, Dominique did it all, from setting up the space beautifully to wrangling my family members for pictures, to getting in a quick rehearsal with the wedding party, to cleaning everything up afterwards. I felt a sense of calm on my wedding day because I knew she had everything under control.

Dominique goes above and beyond and really invests in making your wedding a dream come true. I would HIGHLY recommend Dominique and Big Juicy Events for any bride-to-be!!

We were 2 brides-to-be, who have been together for a long time—14 years. We are in our mid-forties with very hectic jobs. We have two kids. And let’s just say that we were a little iffy/reluctant on the whole big wedding thing with all of its traditional trappings. But that said, we did want to throw an amazing, throw-down party to celebrate our family and life together and we wanted all of the elements of that party (venue, music, food, décor) to really reflect us. Oh, and we are annoyingly opinionated about those elements -- and don’t always agree -- and we had exactly zero bandwidth to pull such a party off.

Then we found Dominique Bell, really quite by chance. Lucky us. Somehow, Dominique managed, with her awesome organizational skills, extensive knowledge and experience, calm and steady hand, and great taste, to take our vague conceptual idea for a non-wedding-ish wedding, and our mish-mash of strong opinions about details, and fashioned them into a perfect party Our wedding was so thoroughly enjoyable and meaningful for us that we literally can’t thank her enough. She was always professional, always insightful, and always a pleasure to work with over the months and months of planning – and trust us, you need this. Because of her tremendous background, she has tons of great ideas for any part of your event and literally can turn any idea or concept that you may have into a reality. She is a roll-up-her-sleeves hard worker, and can tackle any challenge a vendor throws your way. Oh, and you really want her in your corner when you hit that inevitable wall because you’ve had to make a million decisions and will literally jump off a cliff if you are asked to make one more. Dominique will save you from the brink.

We feel extremely fortunate to have been able to work with her, and would give her our beyond enthusiastic, unqualified recommendation to anyone wants to throw a killer party.

Dominique is absolutely amazing! We interviewed a bunch of people and knew she was the woman for the job the moment we spoke with her. She had so much experience and we knew she could handle anything. She went above and beyond our expectations and really made every effort to make sure our wedding went well. She helped us find amazing vendors for things we needed help with, set up the entire space the day, decorated the space incredibly and cleaned everything up afterwards. A lot of stuff went wrong during the wedding and we weren't even aware because she took care of EVERYTHING! My husband and my story of meeting the incomparable, Dominique Bell is somewhat non-traditional. Due to a unique situation, our wedding was filmed and will air as part of a docu-series on ABC Family called “Becoming Us”. Dominique was introduced to me through word of mouth only two months before our nuptials. All it took was a phone meeting and I knew this was my wedding planner. The fire and passion in her voice told me that she was going to get things done in the most efficient, organized, and kindest way possible.

I didn’t think she could get better; then I met her.

Dominique is truly remarkable. She is everything you could need (or dream of) in a wedding planner. She alleviates as much stress as possible when it comes to your big day AND does it with style! Because our day included a camera crew, as well as our guests, we had an interesting added element with which to deal. Dominique handled this unique detail beautifully and made sure that our wedding truly felt like OUR wedding, for us and our guests (You might even see her in action in an episode or two airing in June).

I would highly recommend her expertise to any couple seeking an efficient and talented planner. From a large three hundred person celebration to a small intimate wedding this woman (and her assistants) can do it all. My husband and I are still pinching ourselves that things went as smoothly as they did. She made our wedding day dreams come true with ease and we were lucky to have her!

We can't say enough about the amazing work Dominique did for us and our wedding. We hired her for day of co-ordination of our wedding, we are based in the UK and needed someone state-side to do the last minute details. Dominique was the best decision we made, we didn't need to do a thing on the day... everything was carefully arranged and planned and she completely understood our vision for a low key and intimate day.

Dominique and Big Juicy Events was, in short, everything we could have asked for and then some.

Originally we were looking for a “day of” coordinator for our wedding and what we got was much more than that. Working with Dominique, we explained what we were looking to do and she totally got it. There was a “click” between all of us that made the planning of everything easy and stress-free.

Dominique was technically our “month of” coordinator. About 30 days before the wedding we met with her to pass off all of the work we had done to that point and she was able to take the ball and run with it. Her execution was flawless and her attention to every detail was meticulous. And even though she was technically only our “month of” coordinator she checked in with us periodically to make sure we were on track to have the wedding we had been imagining – nine months, six months, three months, two months. We felt that Dominique was with us every step of the way to answer questions, recommend vendors, and allay any of our concerns.

The wedding planning game is a tough one to play; however, when you have an advocate like Dominique guiding you away from pitfalls she’s seen over and over again, it certainly makes the whole experience much more pleasant. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Dominique and her services and would recommend her many, many times over.

No matter where a wedding is held, planning one involves a lot of moving parts, and it can be stressful at times. Planning a wedding to be held in New York City while living in San Francisco makes it even more interesting!

We hired Dominique to help us plan and coordinate our cross-country wedding. She was extremely friendly, very professional and responsive to our questions throughout the process.

When my husband and I were searching for a wedding planner, we were really just searching for a month of coordinator- what we got was so much more. Dominique was the 3rd and final wedding planner we had interviewed, and I remember clearly the thing that set her apart from the other planners was that she understood that our wedding was not just a big party with a lot of moving parts that needed to be managed; she understood that this was a huge emotional undertaking, at a chunky financial cost, bringing together two different cultures, and all the little nuances that come with that.

My husband and I had done the majority of the vendor search, but Dominique had set us up with our DJ and florist, and they were both amazing. We just got married last week and our friends have not been able to stop telling us that we had the wedding of the year. I had worked on a bunch of little DIY details, and Dominique and her team implemented them perfectly! I did not even touch a single item the day of the wedding. I had an incredibly stress free time getting ready in my venue, casually taking a peek at the set-up process, and by the time I had finally walked down the aisle and saw everything in place, I was utterly overwhelmed at how perfect everything was.

When friends and family ask us how we felt on our wedding day, among our responses of happy, elated, drunk in love, sad that it went by too fast...we always say and will always say, we don't know how anyone else gets married without Dominique!

After choosing our venue & wedding date, I was about to start a new job & was starting to get overwhelmed with wedding planning, but I didn't want someone to take over planning everything, because I still knew what I wanted for the most-part, just not how to execute it. After convincing my fiancé that the added cost would be worth it, I began my search right here on Wedding Wire. Dominique responded to me within 24 hrs, we set up a meeting, and immediately clicked. Since I still wanted to choose most things myself, we went with a "Day of Coordinator w/ additional Planning Support" package.
Right away, she helped us divide up our overall budget and gave us a timeline. Over the course of a year & a half, she referred us to our DJ (who was awesome), helped me look for other vendors and look over their contracts, came bridesmaid dress shopping with us, & came to one of my gown fittings (where she pointed out to my seamstress that the bustle didn’t look right, which was really helpful because I wouldn’t have known what to look for, and it looked better after they fixed it).
On our big day, Dominique & her 2 assistants were absolutely amazing. There were some snafus with our venue (they changed their onsite coordinator on us shortly before the wedding, and the new guy was a little clueless) that she dealt with and shielded us from, so we could enjoy our day. She only got us involved when necessary, and some of the issues we didn’t even hear about until later after they were taken care of, which was great. As far as the guests could tell, everything was perfect. She stayed until the end of the night and made sure I was happy, and even brought my comfortable shoes from my room to me at the after-party before calling it a night, and then followed up with us after the wedding to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Most importantly, she kept me calm when I needed it, & made everything run as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Choosing to hire Dominique Bell as our day-of-coordinator was the smartest decision we made!!! I cannot say enough good things about her and Big Juicy Events. My husband and I found her to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Our wedding was highly complex. With our venue only providing tables and chairs, everything else had to be outsourced and there were several different vendors that she had to oversee and coordinate. Watching her do so, with ease, only confirmed that it would have been impossible for us to handle on our own. She's bright, funny as ever, creative, organized and could not have been more of a delight to work with. I have only admitted this to my husband, but - i'm really sad that I won't be able to work with her anymore. I truly enjoyed our time together! I cannot thank her enough for keeping me calm (and in the present moment) and going above and beyond to make our day the best it could be. I'm not sure how we would have kept our sanity throughout the wedding-planning process without Dominique. We hired her for day-of coordination because we liked that her approach to day-of work included some advance work (to make sure the day ran smoothly), guaranteed her availability for the entire weekend of the wedding, and would include services personalized to our wedding's needs (vendor recs, expert advice, etc). The other options I'd explored for day-of coordination were limited to a set number of hours on the day/weekend and included minimal, if any, advance planning.

Everything we needed help with, Dominique delivered -- vendor recommendations and negotiation assistance, contract reviews, shopping trips to Chelsea market, floor plan strategies, timing suggestions, and brilliant incorporation of all of the ideas and vendors we'd already planned. And that doesn't even begin to cover the weekend itself, when she went above and beyond. She stored all of our flowers in her apartment for three days, made the most beautiful table arrangements and bridal bouquet (and found extra to make a posy for my grandma's walker), calmed my parents, gave us feedback on getting the bridal party down the aisle in a coordinated fashion, made sure we didn't see each other until the ceremony, and -- for this she wins the Nobel Prize of Coordination -- kept everything running smoothly when the building's only elevator broke 30 minutes before the (1st floor) ceremony and we didn't know how we'd get a grandmother in a wheelchair, an ice cream cart, and a surprise brass band up to the 3rd floor for the reception. Not only did she save the day, but when we returned to our apartment exhausted that night, we found her lugging leftover beer, wine, and soda into our living room, sorting them by which could be returned. She. Does. Not. Stop.

I've already recommended her to loads of friends. I can't recommend her highly enough. Hire this woman to coordinate your wedding!

We hired Dominique for full wedding planning and she was utterly fantastic. She was patient and helpful even when we had no idea what we wanted, and worked very hard to make us feel comfortable and happy.

Her services are very reasonably priced and she more than made up for her fee by finding us great deals on vendors. She recommended our venue, florist, photographer, and hair/makeup. All did excellent work for good prices. Our families, who knew how much our wedding cost, were all extremely impressed with how elegant the wedding looked -- you would've never guessed our budget was on the lower side.

On the day of, she took all of the stress and worry off of our shoulders by making sure everything ran smoothly. We had no major mishaps, and we and all of our guests had a great time. She was extremely professional and accommodating. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dominique helped us pull together our wedding in under 5 weeks, and the outcome was beyond anything we could have hoped for. My husband and I live on the other side of the country, but between the emails and phone calls, as well as numerous meetings that Dominique had with my mom, we felt that she knew exactly what we wanted for the day, and she was on top of everything throughout the process.

Dominique is a true professional who has an incredible ability to give you what you're asking for while also gently guiding you down the right path for everyone. During our wedding we didn't have a single worry or concern about anything since we knew that Dominique was on it. She, and her wonderful assistant, Lakisha worked closely with our vendors, venue and families to ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the day, allowing us all to truly just enjoy the wedding. We are so thankful for everything these two amazing women did for us.

My daughter and son-in-law's recent wedding was pulled together in 5 weeks and, as the guest list rose from 25 to 60 people, I knew we needed help. Fortunately for us, Dominique was available on short notice to be the "day of" coordinator. As it turned out, Dominique was much more than that--she coordinated with the vendors, met with us at the venue prior to the wedding day, and kept us on track with her fanatical planning. On the day of the wedding she absolutely insured that everything ran smoothly. Above all, Dominique respected the preferences of the bride and groom and she played an instrumental role in giving them the wedding they wanted. In sum, Dominique is a total professional who is a delight to work with.

Our wedding was a dream and it was in large part due to Dominique. She did everything we needed and more. We were working with a tight budget and didn't think we would need a coordinator but ultimately decided to get one so that we could enjoy the day more and not have to worry about details. Dominique far exceeded expectations - she worked with all of our vendors and handled every issue that arose with professionalism and ease. She was worth every penny and more. I will recommend her to anyone I know that is looking to plan an event. She met with me as much as I needed and triple checked details with other vendors. She managed our wedding day so smoothly! Our wedding was perfect!

We hired Dominique back in February, as I began to fully realize the magnitude of tiny details involved in planning a wedding. I couldn't have been happier with our decision! Right away, she understood that my husband and I wanted to stay hands on, and already had a lot of ideas about what our reception should look like- we wanted a non-traditional rock & roll themed wedding with a live karaoke band, and she didn't bat an eyelash. Instead she brought us loads of options for vendors, researched decor ideas online, and was always one step ahead. We also expressed to her the areas where we weren't comfortable spending a lot of money, and she always respected that, bringing us a genius solution to the problem within hours. Dominique is hyper-organized, always plugged in and responsive, and when you work with her you know that the gears are always turning somewhere, getting everything done on time. Not to mention, she's also an incredibly sweet woman with a sense of humor who is so easy to talk to that I often spent half of our meetings waxing poetic about all of my future in-law fears and wedding worries! Leading up to the big day, I felt assured that it would all come together because we had someone so capable on our team. She expertly dealt with all of the flaky vendors I'd hired prior to working with her, and when inevitable disappointments popped up along the way, she always had a compromise in her back pocket. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and everything we wanted- Dominique made almost all of our decorations (including a couple hundred origami flowers!) and every detail looked amazing. She managed to help us pull off the fun, non-traditional vibe without looking like a cheap theme party, and that was no small feat. Any hiccups that happened during the event itself went way under my radar- Dominique and her team had it on lock. As I don't plan on getting married again, all I can do is urge other brides to hire her!

I have this eternal image in my mind of Dominique standing in the back doorway of my mother-in-law's house, dripping sweat and carrying an armful of mason jars out to the tent. She truly busted some ass on the day of our wedding, and we could not have been more grateful.

My husband and I planned most of our wedding ourselves, but hired Dominique to be our DOC. Even though she was only obligated to be on call for us for the few weeks before the wedding, Dominique was always ready to chat with me on the phone or via email, and answer any questions we might have. Her advice was always on-point, and for months before the wedding she would check in to make sure we were on task.

The week of the wedding, Dominique was an absolute star. She came out to help me arrange my flowers, which I was doing by myself, and her cool, professional demeanor calmed so many of my freak outs. She has a wonderfully efficient attitude, which was exactly what I was looking for.

After all of my meticulous planning, on the day of the wedding I basically wanted to wipe my hands of it. I handed the reigns off to Dominique, and she translated all of our hard work into a beautiful reality. Every time someone asked me a question, I basically said, "Sorry, I have no answers for you." I was, admittedly, spectacularly unhelpful on my wedding day, but this didn't seem to bother Dominique at all. She just took charge, setting up all of the rentals, bringing all of the flowers out to the table, hauling coolers of wine and beer, you name it. Bear in mind it was about 105 degrees with 90% humidity. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I kept asking her how certain things were going to get done. She'd always answer, "Oh, I can take care of that." I was a little skeptical that she'd be able to handle all of the tasks that she was taking upon herself, but she carried everything off without really involving me at all, which was why I hired a DOC in the first place.

We used Dominique as our day of coordinator and could not have been happier!! She is very professional, attentive to detail, and organized. Dominique delivered our welcome baskets to hotels, organized the rehearsal, and took care of EVERYTHING on our wedding day. We had a few glitches on our wedding day- large vases toppling over right before the ceremony and guests not being able to find our venue- but Dominique and her assistant handled everything, so while this chaos was happening I was drinking wine with the bridal party and not worrying about a thing. I highly recommend Big Juicy Events!

I met Dominique about a year before my wedding, and although we only hired her as a day-of planner and officiant she was available for advice, assistance and planning the entire time. Dominique met with us and our hotel event coordinator multiple times for decor discussions, food tasting, check-list management and many other various wedding topics. She also conducted the most beautiful wedding ceremony for us, which was customized for our unique religious and family needs. Everything went perfectly smoothly, and was beautiful : )

Highly, highly recommend! Dominique was one of three candidates I reached out to and we really liked her disposition, her approach, and that she's an 'owner-operator' of her business, with an assistant (as opposed to a larger event company or on a team, where there was a chance your event could drop in priority if a bigger client/event came in, or that your event could get passed to another planner).

Dominique has a wide range of relationships in place in the NYC area, including beyond-helpful connections with florals and decor concepts. We had some vendors in place when we hired Dominique; for those we hadn't already hired, Dominique was great at 'vetting' vendors when she was not already familiar with them.

Our event was simple in some ways (ceremony & reception in the same venue, not a lot of transport logistics) but complicated in others (very specific timing, not a lot of advance time in the space, lots of deliveries to coordinate in advance, many participants in our ceremony/toasts, etc).
Dominique kept it all running smoothly, identified problems in advance and headed them off (her minute-by-minute overview of our day was on-point), and calmly addressed whatever came up-- all while making sure that we (the celebrants) actually ate the food we spent months planning, and had a drink while talking to our 90 guests. (It's funny what you'll forget to do on the day-of.)

She is masterfully observant and understands the "flow" of a well-run event. Dominique has this "in-control, yet not a control freak" presence, which was perfect: she speaks with authority while being genuine & pleasant- not always something you find in a planner, and what we wanted for handling vendors! She stopped at nothing to make things look and feel the way we envisioned- she tested out a bunch of ideas with us for decor leading up to our celebration, and kept on quests for supplies and designs for us.

From planning to day-of, we loved working with Dominique!

Dominique is a brilliant and thoughtful officiant who is easy to work with, budget-friendly, and great at what she does. She is kind, courteous, responsive, and an excellent writer and keen listener. From our first email exchange right up to the big day, Dominique was an invaluable resource and a memorable part of our successful ceremony. We had a wonderful experience with her from our initial meeting a few months before the day at a cafe in Union Square (where we hit it off and immediately knew that she was a great fit for us) to the excitement of signing our marriage license paperwork immediately following the ceremony, she was with us every step of the way.

Dominique was available to us at any time and offered to provide council on wedding-related issues beyond the actual ceremony. Having access to her knowledgeable perspective was a great asset, especially when working out some of the finer details of the ceremony. She was very quick to respond to emails and always addressed each question and/or concern thoroughly and thoughtfully. Like others have mentioned, we did not want to write our own vows so between her personalized questionnaire and our first meeting, she was able to craft beautiful and heartfelt vows that truly captured us as a couple. Her knack for translating couples' thoughts and anecdotes is impressive!

On the day of the wedding, Dominique was at our venue early and offered to help in any way possible. We wanted a brief yet personal ceremony and Dominique provided us with exactly that; the ceremony was beautiful and even better than we had envisioned. Our friends and family could not believe that we had only met Dominique a few months before; so many of our guests thought that she was an old friend of ours, which is a true testament to her abilities.

Dominique is fantastic. If you're looking for an affordable and caring officiant who will deliver a memorable ceremony, look no further!

Quickly after planning for my small wedding started I realized I would need a little help day of.
From the start Dominique was a perfect fit; she was affordable, she would be available the entire day start to finish without additional hourly fees (which was NOT the norm for many Day Of Coordinators I contacted), she would handle things I hadn’t even thought about (drop offs and pick-ups, day of timelines, making sure everyone was where they needed to be, vendor payments) and most importantly, after a face to face meeting, I knew I immediately she would be good at she job and that I could feel comfortable leaving things in her hands on the day of my wedding.
“Good at her job” is an understatement. I CANNOT say enough about Dominique - She was the best wedding decision I made, hands down. She was SO much more than a day or coordinator. From the moment we decided to work together (which was 2 months before my wedding) she was emailing me right away gathering information on what I had accomplished, providing me with timelines and checklists, recommending vendors, she was making sure I was staying on track with deadlines and bookings, and she was always readily available via email with any question I might have. She really went above and beyond her duties.
Day of she was amazing… proficient and efficient, everything that I had come to expect of her. She was back and forth between the venue and the hotel making sure everything was running smoothly, and there at the reception with whatever I needed. All my family loved her and even friends at the wedding commented on how she always looked like she was running around taking care of business!
Even now, months after the wedding Dominique is still a source of support and help (she tracked down my photos for me without my even mentioning it to her!). She is AMAZING and I cannot recommend her enough. I know I would not have gotten the genuine care and quality you get with Dominique if I had gone with anyone else.

Dominique Bell and Big Juicy Events without a doubt made our entire wedding. Without her support, organization, sense of humor, and unmatchable taste - nothing we did would have been as enjoyable and memorable as it thankfully became. When we decided to have our wedding in NYC, we knew we needed help but were fairly certain we wouldn't find a coordinator who matched our sensibilities. Then we met the talented Dominique Bell. My husband and I consider ourselves to be non-mainstream, design-minded, and completely not into most of the over-priced and cheesy wedding stuff that exists out there. And there's a lot of it!

Dominique not only had amazing vendor contacts and ideas (AMAZING IDEAS), which she gladly shared (saving us tons of research time), she took time to meet with us and frequently kept us in check with timelines and to-do lists. She did an exemplary job of allowing our vision to shine through and also knew when to the take the reins to get the job done and free us from stress. Most importantly, the day of....ah, that whirlwind and dreamy "day of"... Dominique and her assistant, Lakisha, repeatedly went above and beyond seamlessly. To this day we still have no clue if or when any snafus arose, because if they did we wouldn't even know. She kept everything running flawlessly and took care of our entire crazy family behind the scenes. Our family still asks about her, say she was our angel.

Dominique handled every ounce of pressure with ease. We really felt that she took the stress away and allowed us to just be in the moment. We have received so many compliments on what a heartfelt and cool event it was, and I can honestly say we owe most of this to Dominique and Big Juicy Events. We had the pleasure or working with a coordinator who has found a calling, but best of all - we met a friend whom we trust.

Dominique was a pleasure to work with from the very start. She was flexible and willing to work with our budget. The first time we met she made me feel very comfortable and was open to my ideas. The second time around she came to my house to meet my husband. We didn't want to write our own vows so she asked us some questions and incorporated our answers in the ceremony. There was very little to change from the first draft; her words were beautiful. Dominique was always prompt with her emails and followed up every step of the way. On the day of, she was early and made sure everything was in order. In fact, my Maitre D' was against the way I wanted my lineup and suggested that I do it the "normal" way. When Dominique heard that she set him straight and told him that it was my day and that they should do it the way I want them to. I was just going to let it go but she stuck up for me and I thought that was very nice of her. She was caring, and made us feel like we were the only two people in the world that day. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful... We couldn't have ask for more.

We hired Dominique a week before our wedding (we had issues with the officiant we originally hired). Dominique was extremely helpful to us, she responded to any email with an hour and had a ceremony draft just a few days later.

Dominique performed a beautiful ceremony that we will never forget. She made it feel personal and authentic to us, she really listened to our requests. Many people complimented that our ceremony was one of the nicest they had seen. I would HIGHLY recommend her services!

"We will get it done." 10 min into our first meeting, completely unphased by everything I needed, Dominique was calm, confident, and reassuring.

I planned a 100+ person wedding in NYC in 4.5 months, with a new job and night school. My 1st wedding planner had a health emergency. With 2 weeks left, and many details unresolved (transportation, favors, welcome letter & packets-big details), I was frantically calling planners. Dominique answered her phone. Which, is rare-many have websites that are not current, or let your call go through to VM, or have a generic VM greeting so you aren't sure who you called or if they will call you back. She answers. I felt 100% better after speaking with her - and after our first meeting, I was completely confident we could do it.

Dominique has experience and contacts only an insider knows. But, that doesn't stop her from doing research specifically for your needs-not just directing business to friends. She negotiated great rates on transports and my wedding favors-not to mention getting the favors there on time, AND coming up with a great, creative idea for the packaging.

3 days to go, everything was ready. I had time to relax-a priceless gift for any bride (the groom was grateful too)!

A couple guests were in poor health & unfamiliar with NYC, needing extra attention -she personally introduced herself and took special care of them-they LOVED her & were relieved (me too!).

My wedding day, she was unobtrusive, watching over every detail and vendor as everything fell into place. She had a million things to do that day, but if I needed something, she was right there, calm & focused.

Dominique is exactly what you need, whatever that is-final details, a sounding board, an extra pair of hands making sure everything is perfect and everyone gets to where they need to be, on time and happy-she delivers 120%.

Good luck with your own weddings! Mine was perfect, thanks to her. She WILL get it done, beautifully!

As well as being our officiant Dominique was also our wedding coordinator and go to person for every question we had leading up to our wedding. On our first meeting Dominique told us that she could be involved as much or as little as we like and work to whatever budget we have. She is extremely reliable and professional. She really went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted.

Dominique made time every couple of weeks to come to my apartment and talk through ideas of decoration and logistics. She offered advice, gave recommendations and brought inspiration she had found.

We had a beautiful ceremony in our backyard. Dominique and Lakisha (Dominique's assistant) made the place look beautiful. After the ceremony all the guests went to the restaurant for the reception, while Dominique stayed and cleared everything away. She took care of it all. We are so grateful to her and Lakisha.

Dominique Bell was very attentive, she answered all our emails in a timely fashion, and sent several out on her own - with reminders, clarifications and a draft of the speech, which we didn't change at all. She prepared us quite well for the ceremony, so there was no surprises. She gave us questions in writing to help her with wedding vows for us and the speech she made was personalized to us. She met with me personally the first time, then with me and my then fiancé over food and drink, which was pleasant and not rushed. She even offered to come an hour earlier before the ceremony to help with any items and preparations that needed to be fixed before we and the guests got there. The place was perfect when we did get there :) She is caring, clearly loves what she does, and is very detail oriented. We added several traditions to our ceremony, and she was very flexible and offered good suggestions on them. The only thing we would suggest is to have a small podium type or a microphone stand for her so she can place her papers on it and turn the pages. She gave 100%, she wasn't rushing us to the ceremony stand, she calmly stood there waiting for us, she was social with the guests, and looked professional. We highly recommend Dominique.

Dominique was amazing! After speaking with her on the phone for five minutes I knew she would be perfect for us. She had great ideas for the ceremony. She offered up the idea of passing our rings around and having all of our loved ones hold them and send their good wishes to us. I thought that was such a wonderful idea. We met with her once and loved her. She is so personable, funny, and cool. She really captured who we are as a couple. The day of the rehearsal and wedding she totally put our minds at ease. It was a very romantic and lovely ceremony!

Where do I begin!
On my Most Important Day, Dominique made sure that it was above and beyond. Starting with spending endless hours with me and my family in many NYC bridal boutiques. I had started going with the idea that I wanted a mermaid dress. But Dominique recommended an A-line dress for my shape and guess what- I walked down the aisle is a gorgeous A-Line gown everyone loved! Dominique became part of the family. From dress to accessories to decor she was with me every step of the way.
She kept me well in my budget. She suggested many reasonably priced, great vendors. Even suggesting some DIY options for me which I loved (I made my own bridal bouquet as well as my bridesmaids' - they were a huge hit at my wedding). She was there the day of my wedding making sure everything was perfect. I have gotten many compliments and requests for her number which I am happy to give to anyone that asks (and some who don't!)

We hired Dominique for full wedding planning about 15 months before our wedding. We wanted a wedding in NYC within our budget (which we feared was impossible) and she said, "No problem." And she made it happen (:

And she didn't just make it happen, she helped to make it awesome and allowed my husband and I to focus our efforts on the personal touches that made it our wedding. A wedding planner isn't just about the vendor relationships (even though they all love Dominique and tell you how you 'have the best wedding planner'), it's also about the advice. She's planned 150+ weddings. She knows what works and what doesn't, and she will let you know if that crazy idea you have will work. Or maybe it won't, but she'll explain why and offer an amazing alternative. But she never says, 'You have to do what I say.' The ultimate decision is up to the couple. But we listened and had an amazing day.

We weren't stressed out at all because we knew, "oh right, Dominique's got it." If anything went wrong on my wedding day, I had no idea because Dominique was running the show in the background, and I was enjoying the moment.

I can honestly say that I would not have done it any other way. My wedding was amazing because I had Dominique.

So why the 4.5/5 stars for responsiveness? Awesome as she is, Dominique's just one person. She does focus on planning a bunch of weddings at once, and she is a prioritization expert. Still, if you are looking for ultra-fast always-on robotic responsiveness (as some stereotypical brides desire), you won't get it here. But you'll get close. She works long hours to help make each of her clients' weddings as awesome as can be. And if you are in the final planning stages, you can expect that key extra attention that will put you at ease.

Dominique was awesome! We decided late to hire a wedding planner, but she jumped in immediately and took control of everything. The month and day of ran like clockwork. Dominique's creative input and flexibility helped us personalize.

If we needed confirmation, the day of the wedding a couple of our vendors sang Dominique's praises, unsolicited. They said she was tough, making sure that everyone was where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there. But, they also said that they really liked and respected her.

Dominique was a wonderful wedding planner. She is super organized and thorough and at the same time, personable and easy to talk to.
