Baltimore’s Best photo/videographer

Planning an event in 7 days made me lose my mind to get a cameraman. After several calls to various companies one recommended that David maybe able to squeeze us in his busy schedule. And David sure came through for us. He went above and beyond what he signed up for without batting an eyelid. He was spot on with all events that were happening and captured every single golden moment there was. His camera made an average Joe like me look like a celebrity. I will give him 10+ stars regarding his work and on time delivery of photo shoot and video taping
We want him back for all our events in future, and the guests were so happy with his professionalism and mannerism that they have already started signing up with him.

Wedding Videographer

We are beyond thrilled with the experience we had working with David at Documented Video Productions. From the very first conversation, they made us feel at ease and truly listened to what we wanted. On the day of our wedding, they were professional, kind, and somehow everywhere without being intrusive — capturing the big, emotional moments and the tiny, beautiful ones we didn’t even realize were happening.

The final video completely blew us away. It was cinematic, emotional, and perfectly captured the spirit of our day. Every time we watch it, we’re transported right back to that magical moment. The music, the editing, the pacing — everything was flawless. Friends and family have all said it’s the best wedding video they’ve ever seen (and we completely agree!).

Proposal Shoot

David was great! My fiance hired him for the proposal and despite the hot temperature outside he was professional and stayed as long as needed to get the job done and made sure we had enough pictures and videos! He also brought a drone which made for some content. Would highly recommend David for your next shoot!

We had an exceptional experience with Documented Video Productions for our event both in terms of the experience and the final product.

Dave was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive in terms of communication and making sure he understood how we wanted to capture the event. He went above and beyond to obtain footage of the religious service from the venue as outside videographers were not permitted. We appreciated how unobtrusive he was during the actual event and how he seamlessly worked with our DJ and photographer to make sure all of the important moments were captured. We were so pleased with the final product and the timeliness with which we received it. We will definitely work with Documented Video Productions again for our next event.

Satisfied Bride of the Washington Wedding

Recording of event along with pictures of a person's life made that person and others who watched the recording very happy.

David Hercenberg understands how to use equipment to make a successful event film. I wanted a bit more - something like a documentary. He was responsive to suggestions and changes and extremely helpful. It was part of a birthday present for an extraordinary woman as she turned a major age. She loved it. Seeing her happy after viewing the documentary about her was the best answer to the question, how was the experience working with David Hercenberg and what was the response.

Wonderful videographer (and human!)

Professional and Experienced. Great Production

Beyond thrilled with DVP!

I am so happy I was able to last minute book DVP for my wedding (if you are on the fence about doing a video - do it, it's so worth it). I watch my wedding highlight reel often and it brings me back to that day perfectly. My guests also commented on how great the reel was, including a video editor! He was impressed. Documented Video

David was conscientious and responsive with respect to this most important occasion of my father’s funeral, which we were not able to attend in person. We did not know when it was going to happen, of course, and David made himself available at the last minute and set things up at various camera angles so that we could feel as though we were there and be a part of it. He is highly skilled. We are so grateful to him for his help, we could not have done this without him.

Great experience

I was referred to David through my wedding planner and had such a great experience using his services. He was always quick to respond and even quicker to edit and deliver my videos. I couldn’t believe how fast they came back.

David Captures it All

David filmed my wedding in Oct of 2021 and did a phenomenal job! The production quality is excellent, and some of the footage looks like it was out of a Hollywood movie. We are so happy we went with David and highly highly recommend him. His pricing is absolutely worth it!

Bat Mitzvah

David did an unbelievable job capturing our daughter’s big day! He was amazing and easy to work with. He had creative ideas that went literally above (fabulous drone shots) and beyond. After the party he sent us short clips we could share on social media with family and friends while we waited for the full length video (which was amazing). Amazing! Davis was so professional

My brother Jimmy passed away August 18 2019 and I needed a video to have a tribute to Jimmy for his one year passing

Fantastic Quality and Service, Great Value

Documented Video did wonderful work capturing my daughter’s wedding ceremony! This was during the pandemic where there were many restrictions from both the county and church. The couple decided last minute they wanted a video since many friends and relatives could not attend. David was very accommodating and the quality of the main video and audio were great. David showed his creativity and composition skill in a highlights video, using a drone to capture some of the footage. It really captured the day!

Outstanding service and video

At the last minute we decided to have a live stream and video of our daughter's wedding. David knew exactly what was needed and expertly provided live stream, full video, and a highlights trailer! Our remote family and friends appreciated the livestream very much. His video and highlights turned out better than we could have imagined. My wife and I just loved working with this company. We booked Documented Video Productions for our wedding day and the service we received was everything we hoped for and more. They were prompt and professional. And the finished product blew us away. We received both the full event video and a highlight video. The highlight video they put together took us right back to the wedding day and all of the romantic emotions we felt that day. We are so happy we thought to get a videographer for the wedding and know that we made the best choice by getting Documented Video Productions to do the job. We had a great experience

David was wonderful to work with. He caught everything we wanted. He even had the video complete less than 2 weeks after our wedding. We watched the video. It is amazing. It was so good to see the parts that we didn’t get to see, like everyone walking down the isle, the tish, and the dancing.

Perfectly captured our day at a great price!

Highly recommend!!! We used them for our wedding videography on the recommendation of our photographer and are SO that we did! Dave really took the time to talk to us and find out what we were looking for and gave us exactly what we wanted - along with making some awesome suggestions that really took the experience and product to the next level! They were completely unobtrusive during the wedding (I didn’t even notice the cameras being there), but still managed to capture everything and create a really special wedding video that we will cherish forever. Icing on the cake? INCREDIBLE prices! I would definitely use Dave and his team again!

When my fiancé, now husband first met David he provided detailed information to us. He was very personable, attentive, reasonable pricing, and I knew that day I wanted David to be our wedding videographer. We recently received our video. It is amazing! I have looked at the video every morning and I cry, I smile, I laugh and I cry again. If you haven’t considered incorporating a videographer, you are doing yourself a disservice. Dave was our videographer for our wedding on 4/21. He was great and my husband and I enjoyed both the highlights and the full DVD. He also included interviews from the guests, which was included in our package.

Dave was great to work with. He combined packages to make sure I got what I wanted and stayed in my price range. He even stayed a bit late so we could get the cake cutting. An absolutely pleasure to work with before, during, and after the wedding. He worked beautifully with our photographer and never once appeared in the way. I hired David six years ago to be the videographer at my wedding and I was so impressed with his preparation before the event, his work that day, and the finished result that as soon as I had a job for which we needed to hire a videographer, he was the first person I called! Now that I work as the Marketing Manager for Maryland International School in Elrkdige, MD, David was hired to work at our huge STEM Festival earlier this month and produce a few different videos from it, and then hired again to shoot, produce, and edit a TV commercial currently airing on major cable networks in Howard County. David was a dream to work with on our wedding day! He was right on time, very professional, easy going to work with and you could tell that he worked really hard all day to get every special moment captured for us. He worked very well with our photographer, DJ and our other vendors which made the day go especially smooth. We really felt like David went above and beyond to make every minute of our filming time count, especially when he used our unexpected down time from the rain during our photos to take several guest interviews. He worked with us on our budget and we couldn't have asked for more!

My husband and I are so incredibly happy and grateful for David at Documented Video Productions! He brought together an amazing video that will be cherished for the rest of our lives by family and friends. From the beginning, David was VERY responsive, adaptive to what we were looking for and offered his service at an unbeatable price. He remained in contact over the duration of our engagement, making sure to finalize details, times, etc. for the big day. At the wedding David showed up early and looked very professional. He worked with the other vendors to ensure we were getting the most out of our day and many people commented how David was always where he needed to be. Every crucial moment, David was there, capturing it on camera (mind you he was NOT in your face or obtrusive). He offered to stay longer than we had initialized on our contract and he made us and all of our guests feel comfortable. A little more than a month after the wedding our video was completed and we couldn't be more appreciative. I am so happy we chose Documented Video to capture our wedding day! Our wedding was November 7, 2015. The wedding video was a last minute addition and David made it possible! My wife and I had tried going the budget-driven route and had retained a film student to film our wedding. The week before our wedding (literally, 7 days prior to the big day), the videographer we had retained had told us he moved to Florida the week before and that he wasn't sure if he could make it to our wedding. Aside from being so disappointed in the lack of professionalism from that videographer, we had little time to find a replacement videographer. That is when we came across David through other reviews on multiple wedding sites raving about his services and company. It turned out that David had provided services for mutual friends' weddings in the past. David was already booked for our wedding day, but he went above and beyond to recommend options for us, which included either going through him to organize or he allowed us to reach out to his recommended videographers directly. One of David's top recommendations is who we ended up working with directly and we were incredibly happy. It really showed how David is a genuinely good person, professional vendor, and smart businessman, because he truly helped us in a dire situation. He was easy to get in touch with and also followed up regularly to check in to see how our progress was going. All of this happened right when his wife was pregnant and they were expecting the baby any day, and he still was texting and calling us to see how he could help. Hands down, a true professional!

My husband and I, along with our entire family; loved our wedding video and montage! David was extremely professional throughout the entire process and delivered an amazing video that captured all of the emotional and hysterical moments of the night! David is AMAZING!! He used to live in Baltimore but has recently moved. He flew in for the wedding and did a FANTASTIC job. 5 hours before he was supposed to arrive I had to email him a questions and within 10 minutes he had gotten back to me. Watching the video over and over allows us to see what really happened that magical evening as the evening itself was over in a flash! David was a pleasure to work with. He was unobtrusive throughout the evening but yet captured the entire evening using many different angles. I would highly recommend him!

We decided 2 weeks before our wedding to get a videographer and David of Documented Video Productions came to the rescue. He worked with us and our budget to create a package that worked for our needs at the last minute. I didn't know what to expect since we didn't get to meet with him beforehand and discuss too many details, but he arrived on time and everything went very smooth and David gave us exactly what we wanted!
