Sean was the upmost professional, we really enjoyed working with him. He was the DJ for our ceremony which then continued to our reception, which he also MCed and did a fantastic job! He suggested up lightning he has, which was the perfect complement to our venue. The signature logo he made for us was such a special touch! We had the best dance party, it felt like we were in our college days again, which was exactly what we wanted! Months after our wedding, I met up with my girlfriends for brunch and they were still talking about the music and how much fun they had dancing, they were laughing recalling how much fun they had, it was a wedding highlight for everyone! We would have danced and sang all night if the venue would have allowed it! Sean has and brings such an exceptional energy to your special day! Working with him was top notch, we highly recommend him! -

DJ Stepchild was everything we hoped for, and more! He was extremely responsive leading up to our wedding. He arrived in plenty of time to setup, was extremely professional, the uplighting finished our decor off perfectly. He really helped keep the party going, and if it weren’t for the noise ordinance, we would have gone even longer! I highly recommend Sean for your next event! -

DJ Stepchild was a HUGE success and made our big day that much more special. Hiring him was one of the easiest decisions we had to make. Right from the very beginning he was very professional, had great inputs (as we had limited wedding knowledge we needed a lot of advice ;) ) and very patient with our last minute changes to our playlist. He truly made our night unforgettable and I cannot emphasize how polite, nice and accommodating he was. He made us feel SO comfortable and confident that we were going to have the best night of our life. and we sure did! Highly recommend DJ Stepchild!!! -

Phenomenal! 💯 percent professional, organized, timely, personable. Sean is an all around great guy. He’s so easy to work with and wants to make every aspect of your wedding special. Prices are definitely fair because he takes pride in his work and provides up lighting and monograms as well as smoke to make your day special. I’d hire him again if i needed a DJ! -

Sean is AMAZING to work with! The music is a such an important part of your wedding and he made sure we had it planned out perfectly. He helped guide us through some of the more emotional moments and gave suggestions and advice that really helped make them special. He edited songs and remixed them so that the perfect moment had the exact part of the song that was special to us! Then we had a lot of fun talking about the party! After a couple zoom calls we knew he fully understood us and he definitely proved it the night of the wedding! I would recommend him to anyone! He’s an amazing person and incredible at what he does!! -

DJ Stepchild was very flexible and although it was a rainy day for my backyard wedding he still brought the party despite us having to move it inside. He was accommodating with music requests and was a pleasure to work with. I was in constant contact with him up til the date of the wedding and he was always very responsive. My wife and I are very happy to have had him. Thank you so much!!! -

Sean (Dj Stepchild) was amazing, they DJ'd our wedding this past weekend on the beach. He and his wife were great to work with super responsive and very hands on. They were more than accommodating, kept us on track and the party moving! From the ceremony to the party he was top notch! He is a MUST HAVE to Dj your next event!!! AWESOME JOB if we could give 10 stars we would! Highly recommend!!!! -

We booked Sean right after our first conversation. You can tell he is a genuine, kind, and helpful person right away. He always kept us updated with what he was doing, gave us suggestions, asked us questions, and made sure we had zero concerns. He is extremely accommodating. We were too far from each other to meet, so we zoom called and texted often. He reached out to the venue coordinator to make sure everyone was on the same page, and even she mentioned to me that we chose a great DJ!
The lighting was immaculate, amazing, stupendous, and every other synonym of the word. Our venue had extremely large top to bottom windows on almost every wall, so when the sun set the lights washed over the room like a dream.
The music was bumping when it needed to be and calm/romantic at all the perfect moments. He pronounced everyone’s name right, he announced all of the important moments, he even cracked jokes, it was really the best best best night, and Sean did that!!
We also asked for the “Dancing on a Cloud” for our first dance shown in the picture (very worth it). He even turned it on for the little kids to play in which was very kind of him.
Overall, DJ Stepchild made our wedding a huge party, and made every step along the way very easy. He is extremely affordable, a kind and hardworking person, and will bring a super fun and positive energy to any event. -

DJ Stepchild was available every step of the way for us and very flexible to change. We gave us good advice on music selection for important things like our grand entrance and first dance and he was prompt and always extremely professional. His DJ performance and emcee talent is remarkable and certainly added in making our reception the good time that it was! -

DJ Stepchild took on our wedding for us kind of last minute. However you would have never known. He was prompt, early, professional and had all the newest music and the oldies! We were his first “country” wedding and you would have never known! He had all the greatest hits from years ago and today! We gave him a couple pages of songs and he played every single one of them. Everyone still talked about the DJ months after the wedding. Definitely made our day amazing! -
