Dependable; crowd pleaser, best in show!

Ernest did a great job with the music and photo booth at our wedding (6/3/21)! Very easy to work with and highly recommend him.

DJM provided exactly what we ask for, Fred did a wonderful job putting on appropriate music during the ceremony, reception, dinner, and dancing. He was able to get must everyone out dancing!

Ernest was soon great from the day we discussed services up until after our wedding! He was accommodating and played all the music we asked for! We are so thankful to have had Ernest be part of or day!

Truly amazing& professional! Ernest did a phenomenal job of entertaining the guest and keeping us on the dance floor!! His MC skills were top tier! We thank you so much for making our wedding reception a hit!

Prior to the wedding I worked with Ernest on the phone. He was very pleasant and responsive answering questions. For the wedding, AC was our DJ and he did a great job. Before the wedding, they requested a detailed form with music preferences, favorite songs, do-not-play list, etc. I think all the selections during our wedding were right in line with what we wanted and expected. AC also had the right amount of interaction with the guests. We were very pleased with the service.

Hands down best wedding DJ in San Antonio. Ernest made everything so stress free on the most important part of the party - the music!! He kept the crowd (500 guests!) on their feet the whole night! Out bride and groom performance went smoothly even with our special guest. I would recommend DJ Masquerade to every bride, time and time again our guests told us it was the best and most fun wedding they had ever been too!

Fantastic DJ!!! He did great, took all requests and shut off songs that no one was dancing to. He kept the party alive until midnight when this cinderella had to get some sleep! It was supposed to be the owner but he couldn't make it, and of course I don't remember the DJs name, but he was excellent.

We hired Ernest for our January wedding. From the beginning, he was in contact with my wedding planner & myself concerning the music, timeline and kept me in the loop if he didn't receive the information he needed.

DJ Masquerade did a great job coordinating with the venue & arrived hours early to make sure everything was in place.

DJ Masquerade had our guest dancing all evening. We was very happy with the music and lights! He helped us create a night that we'll never forget!

He is a great DJ and I highly recommend him for your weddings. Thank you Ernest!

Highly recommend this dj! He did an awesome job at our wedding. He was professional yet outgoing. Everything ran very smoothly! I danced the entire night and had so much fun :) I'm very thankful we hired him for our wedding!! He played at our ceremony and reception. Both were awesome!!

Earnest is really the best DJ I've ever met. The music shifted smoothly between every dance session, Earnest was able to guide and lift the party atmosphere to a new level. From the experienced handling of those instruments I could sens his professionalism in this field and everyone was reluctant to leave the dance floor when music ended. Thanks for giving my party a good impression to all our guests.

Thank God for Ernest! I had procrastinated and procrastinated on booking a DJ for my July 3 wedding, getting as far as researching online and bookmarking a few of interest. So in June, I start flipping out because I still don't have a DJ! I forget the exact connection, but a neighbor's friend is the mother of Ernest, or something like that, so I was recommended to go with Masquerade. I could not be more pleased with the decision! He is professional and does his best to find out what music we wanted played. One DJ I had started to look more into sent this ridiculous song list, telling me to check the ones we liked...I was SO overwhelmed. Besides, some songs I may like and not know their title, and there was no way I was going to google or youtube every title on the list I didn't recognize to check it - who has time for that? Anyway, Ernest has a sheet where you list a few songs you would specifically like during dinner, and also list a few songs during the dancing part of the reception. He really broke everything down and clarified it in a way that really made me feel good about him. He explained that with the toasts and the bouquet toss, etc etc, he doesn't need a giant list of songs from me, because in reality, there will not be 100 songs played - time simply does not permit! He does have a huge database that you can browse online, and any song that he does not have, it is very easy for him to get it for you. Another wonderful quality with him is that he is flexible - our budget was a little tight, and he came down a lot for us in price but not in quality at all; he still set up a great sound system and the lights with it. Our ceremony/reception site staff, at Granberry Hills, was also well acquainted with him (on a first-name basis), which further lent to his credibility as a trusted and experienced DJ, which we were looking for. We would not have had a reception if it was not for Ernest, and it all turned out great!

DJ Masquerade was the best part of my wedding because all of my friends and family had the best night and danced from beginning till the big send off. Ernest was dressed in a tuxedo and the system and lights were really great. I am very happy with the communication and service I received during the process and especially at my reception.

Ernest was awesome, he provided music for the ceremony and played all the music we asked. He was able to get everyone on the dance floor and they danced until the last song ended.

Ernest was highly recommended to us by our wedding planner, and he did not let us down! He provided us with a planning sheet that allowed us to choose a few examples of the style of music we wanted, and the day of he did an awesome job! Ernest was very caring and helpful throughout the whole process. During the reception, he had everyone out on the dance floor, and our guests had a blast! He also provided lighting, which was beautiful, and a photo booth that everyone had fun with. Great DJ, wonderful service!

We used Ernest of DJ Masquerade. He did a great job. Played the exact music I requested him to play. We had a small wedding. So there weren't as many requests to him to have do. We didn't do the bouquet toss, or garter toss. Everything was simple. I do wish he could of gotten the party more into the music. Got more people onto the dance floor. We actually used him from a recommendation from a friend. He's good at what he does. I'd have him be our DJ again, maybe request more interaction the next time!!

DJ Masquerade provided the music and emcee duties for my daughter's wedding. We all enjoyed the music and flow of the evening, and appreciated Ernest's friendliness and professionalism in the meeting and emails prior to the wedding. We would recommend DJ Masquerade to others.

They did a great job DJing my wedding and played the right music to keep the party going. They were a little hard to get a hold of prior to the wedding but very professional. Overall, very happy with them.

DJ Masquerade was great about communicating with me as we planned our weddng from a distance. But, as another reviewer also mentioned, the DJ didn't play some of the music that we had specifically requested. Despite that though, the DJ really knew what he was doing and we literally had people dancing all night long at the reception as a result! So, in the end, I was glad that the DJ took some liberties and played the music that he knew everyone would enjoy throughout the reception.

Ernest provided excellent service and was a delight to have work our wedding. Worked great with us, as my hubby picked out 90% of the music! Ernest plugged all those songs in, mixed in a few more and all our guest danced the night away and raved about the "awesome DJ"!

Great job and a pleasure to work with. The DJ tried everything to get people out there to dance and worked really hard to make people happy. It was just too hot (June 20th in South Texas) and the venue's air conditioning was not working but our DJ worked so hard to play what people wanted to hear and get everyone dancing. He was very attentive to my husband and I and was very considerate of what we wanted and didn't want to hear. He did a fabulous job of keeping our wedding on pace with our time schedule. The online bill pay was a great plus, too. Easy to work with and easy to dance to! I would recommend for future brides!

This DJ was perfect. He played every song I wanted, and knew what to play to keep people dancing. And, he was very easy to get in touch with before the wedding. I HIGHLY reccommend this company.

At first he was a little hard to get hold of, but once we got a hold of him then things fell into place! The dj took over the reception for us and set up a great party with the right music! It went from a cute wedding to a dance party!

They were on time, played the right music, and kept the reception moving so that is wasn't boring. The DJ was wearing a tux, the owner made my selection really easy because he was friendly and answered all my questioned without a problem.
My only complaint is that when it was time to leave and the carriage was waiting I asked him to turn the music off NOW, because we needed to leave he didn't. It was irritating but not enough to not recommend. An all around good experienc

I would definitely recommend DJ Masquerade to anyone. I worked with the owner, Ernest, who was very nice and professional, and very eager to make my day special. He worked out his schedule to personally come DJ my wedding, which was very considerate. Also, he worked with the price being that I had a mid day wedding, which was nice as well.

Well, he did a good job at getting the people out there. He only played about 20% of what we had requested. We noticed that the people were really not into the music being played, so we made some requests. He said, "Sure." It took almost 20 minutes for him to change the style of music. When we were leaving we wanted to say goodbye to our guests before retiring for the night. We wanted to leave before everyone was gone, but in asking him for the microphone and telling him to turn down the music, everyone was gone. It took an hour of us telling him we wanted to leave for him to turn off the music. The only reason he stopped the music was because everyone was gone. We were literally the last people to leave, other than my parents and the groom's parents.

I highly do not recommend this DJ company. We worked with one guy throughout the whole planning process and things went just fine up until the day of the wedding when we had a DJ we had never met before show up. He had no knowledge about our wedding, was very boring, forgot the mother/son dance, forgot the cake cutting announcement and the list goes on. We did get out deposit back, but that's only because all the things that went wrong. Unless you want your reception I would stay away!!

My husband and I were very disappointed with the DJ service provided. Great length were gone through to fill out the forms and surveys provided by the company ahead of our ceremony and we were assured that we would get what we wanted. On the big day, however, we surely did not get what was requested. Although all of our guests enjoyed themselves and had a great time, we were displeased with our service. We might have been better off with our own mirror ball and an iPod.

They ruined our reception! The DJ did not know how to manage the crowd, he made it seem like gym class not a fun dance. In fact, he was so bad people left with in the first hour. The DJ did not listen to our requests, I had a list of please do not play which he ignored. He also frequently disappeared, but when he did come back he always had yet another cocktail in hand. Lastly, he played a song by Zac Brown Band called Nothing which is a diverse song, at a wedding reception!
