An amazing experience!

We cannot say enough great things about our DJ Lady Shay! We found ourselves in a stressful situation needing a DJ just one week before our wedding after our original DJ became unavailable, and she truly came to the rescue. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive, calm, and flexible—exactly what you need when wedding timelines get tight.

She took the time to go through every detail with me the day before the wedding, which immediately put me at ease. On the wedding day, she was professional, timely, and executed everything perfectly. Transitions were seamless, cues were spot-on, and there were zero audio issues throughout the ceremony and reception.

Most importantly, she delivered exactly what we envisioned and kept everything running smoothly. She knew exactly how to capture our essence and sound (old school R and B) and also had the ideal level of crowd engagement. We are grateful for her professionalism and talent, especially given the short notice. If you’re looking for a DJ you can truly trust, we highly recommend her—she exceeded all expectations.

DJ Lady Shay

WOW!! DJ Lady Shay was exceptional! We have heard her playing at Rocco’s Tacos over the last couple of years or so and then found out she does weddings so we just had to have her at ours! I AM SO GLAD we went with her. She was so great. Her ability to keep the party going with music was exactly what we wanted. Everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. Absolutely spectacular! If you’re looking for a DJ that can do it all then look no further. Seriously…

Look no further - DJ Lady Shay is the best!

We are SO happy we hired DJ Lady Shay for our wedding!!! My partner and I are big music lovers (and in fact we met through radio DJing), so we interviewed a lot of people before deciding on Shaina. We were drawn to her deep passion for music across many genres. If you want the wedding classics, she can surely deliver. But if you have some specific tastes, she’s equally as apt. She really understood our vision and took our requests into account while throwing in some amazing surprises that really got everyone on the floor. You can feel how much she loves her job!! Everyone kept raving about our DJ the next day and for weeks after the wedding! She was the perfect mix of fun and professional, amazing at reading the room while keeping everything on schedule. We also really appreciate that she was able to adapt her planning materials for two brides and always made us feel supported!

DJ Lady Shay Was amazing!!!!! Such an amazing Dj! She was the DJ at my wedding and she did not disappoint! She had the wedding guest on there feet all night!!!! absolutely amazing!!!!! Everyone is still raving about the dj at my wedding two weeks later. Super fun, professional and a great Dj! I was super pleased. She definitely turned the party out!!! We had a time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exceptional & Professional Service

Lady Shay was not only timely and professional, she was so much fun! She kept our guests entertained, was always on queue, knew the audience she was entertaining and had fun with it. An all night dance party

My husband and I found Dj lady shay at Rocco’s tacos in Tampa and we couldn’t get enough of her music! We got her business card and decided to book her for our wedding. She is the nicest and most down to earth person you could ask for. She kept our family on the dance floor all night long for our wedding. She was the life of the party and we will definitely use her for future events and recommend her to all our friends and family! 100/10 recommend

Amazing! We did our research!!

She was awesome and so worth it! I didn't want some cheesy DJ that people laugh about, so I did my research and Lady Shay was Professional, Fun, and gets the job done! Her resume alone, you know she's a pro- but her personality was icing on the cake! She was so sweet and care free, but takes pride in her work and knows what she's doing. She was a hit and EVERYONE LOVED HER!! She was like a friend, that wanted to make your day special. Not like a creepy cousin with and ego LOL

Love love love

Shay was amazing!!!! She made finding perfect music for our wedding so easy. She was able to see a list of the music we typically listen to and was able to incorporate our music into our reception! We had grown and sexy music to hype music and she even had the song "Chances Are" played as a tribute to my deceased father. Its the little details that mean so much and the fact that she took notice of the little details makes me want to shout her name from the rooftops if you are looking to book a DJ! She IS AMAZING!!!! Seriously if you want people to talk about how fun and hype your wedding or event is you can not go wrong with DJ SHAY!!!!

I wish I could have been a guest at my wedding!

DJ Lady Shay was absolutely a pleasure to work with and she is so talented! I’m so happy we found her on WeddingWire. It was very easy to communicate with her up until the event and she really blew us away on the wedding day. She understood the assignment. She really focused on the music we wanted, the vibe we wanted to create and ran with it! Two weeks after the wedding, I am still receiving complements of how amazing she was and how great the music was.

Best DJ Ever

I am so happy DJ Lady Shay was our DJ for our big day. A week before our wedding we talked and went over our list of songs and vibe we were going for. Boy did she deliver! She was very professional, interactive with the crowd and kept the party going. She knew what she was doing and our ceremony and reception were a success. Best DJ ever!

DJ lady Shay is the absolute best of the best and once you speak with her, any doubt or worries will disappear. We connected instantly and she was able to bring the soundtrack of our wedding to life. There is no way our wedding would have been as great of a success without her setting the energy and mood for each portion. It's two weeks later and our family and friends still talk about how great of a party the reception was thanks to DJ Lady Shay. She was even able to make a suggestion for the sound system to ensure the music quality and sound have the exact effect we wanted. Incredible experience!

Lady Shay’s DJ service exceeded all my expectations! When I first reached out to her, I anticipated a great experience due to her prompt response to my inquiry and her immediate response to all the questions I raised prior to our 20th anniversary party. She guided me on how I could prepare a playlist, this was difficult for me due to the diverse friends I have. She ultimately read my crowd of friends and played what she thought was best which got the whole party dancing throughout the event. I highly recommend her to anyone considering an exceptional DJ.

DJ Lady Shay Save the Day

DJ Lady Shay was the BEST DJ to work with! We interviewed several candidates and she was by far the best choice! Her bubbly personality and attention to detail hooked us right away. On the big day she took care of every detail from setting up the sound outside for our ceremony (Which wasn't easy since it was super windy), to the lighting and sound in the reception which was perfect! I cannot say enough great things about her! If you want your special day to be elevated and your guest to dance the night away please don't pass up on this super talented DJ!

Best dj ever

AMAZING DJ. Worked with me to fit my budget but at the end there was a change of plans so we needed her for the whole service and she was so accesible and it was worth every dollar! She got all the compliments from the guests of how her style and her talent brought the party alive. She read the guests and played the music accordingly. She was interactive, friendly, nice and my guests loveeeeed her. She played music we all loved. It was a mexican-cuban-puerto rican wedding and her music fitted everyone, Selena, Celia Cruz, Salsa, Mariachi, it was perfect, she also took care of the reception timeline, with the formalities and cake cutting, we were so happy with her, best decision ever!!!

Amazing results for our tiny wedding

DJ Lady Shay kept our wedding lively and fun and didn't have any issues keeping us on schedule while maintaining the fun and informal atmosphere that we were looking for. Our wedding was super small (I think we ended up with only 16 guests), and I know we had some ridiculous request with a long "Do Not Play" list, but she really knocked it out of the park.

Best Decision I Could Have Made

Having DJ Lady Shay at my wedding was the best decision I could have made. We did not have a day of planner and she kept our timeline flawlessly. She called me before the big day to make sure all the songs were correct, and really took a load of stress off the reception portion of the wedding. I would recommend her to anyone!

From the beginning to the very end DJ Lady Shay is 5 stars hands down for that special event you are planning. She is responsible, has great availability and super friendly. As a wedding planner, I know a number of wonderful DJs, but DJ Lady Shay was the perfect choice for us - plus I had the pleasure of helping plan her wedding last year. It's that kind of professional courtesy and personal touch that means everything. She didn't bat an eye at our unusual playlist and took the time to get the details right. We aren't a traditional couple and needed a DJ who would work with us on making a personalized reception for us. Love her!

DJ Lady Shay was a huge hit at our Nov 3 wedding. We had a very small wedding (under 50 people) and it was a wide range of ages and backgrounds. She was able to create a great atmosphere and left our whole crowd impressed. Our guests made it a point to tell me how much they enjoyed the music and the flow of the evening. Not only did she provide the DJ services, she provided the beautiful up-lighting. She was very responsive, and had a very easy worksheet to help plan the night. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Shay has a million dollar personality and was beyond professional from the start. She is super organized has top notch communication and she is the absolute best at getting the party started and making sure it doesn’t stop! She was so caring, she went out of her way during the event to check with me to make sure everything was exactly how I envisioned it. She is super flexible and knows how to handle anything thrown her way. The set up was very beautiful as well. Shay has an amazing energy and has excellent insight into reading the crowd and gauging what type of music to play. We had a fabulous time and plan on using her again. I had a wedding 2 years ago on a budget and choosing a dj was the only thing i was being picky about since i have a love for music. I went to a grand opening at a local wedding shop and couldn't help but notice listening to the dj scratch records, which you never hear these days! i went to go see the dj and saw it was a girl playing the best music selection ive ever heard, especially out of all the wedding expos ive gone to at that point. i met her and she was the coolest, friendliest, and presented her services in a very professional manner. i had to hire her and I did! she was fantastic with checking on us and accomodated every music selection we desired. until this day, when i run into people that went to my wedding, they still rave about how GOOD the music was! people who never danced in their lives danced at my wedding. go with dj shay and you will not be disappointed, the girl has taste. other djs don't share the same passion for music like she has, she knows her stuff.

DJ Lady Shay is excellent!!!!, she had everyone on the dance floor.The music was wonderful, and kept us dancing all night, by the end of the night we were exhausted from dancing all night! DJ Lady Shay was the most amazing DJ that I could ask for! She was hilarious and really responded to the crowd. Everyone loved her and her style! She was also flexible and made me (the slightly crazed bride) feel like everything was well in hand. There were some hiccups and she handled them with grace, she made it a fun and totally stress free day! She also helped my usually shy now husband open up and have fun! She's the best DJ I've ever seen and I'm so happy that she was mine!!! I would, and have, personally recommend her for any friend :)

She was amazing! She drove 3 hours away to my wedding and even arrived at least 2 to 3 hours early. Upon her arrival she noticed that over 1/2 the table & chair covers had yet to be put on and the decorations for the tables were all sitting in a box. Unbeknownst to myself and my fiance our wedding planner (who should have set everything up) had left the day before after receiving a call that her son had died. DJ Lady Shay took it upon herself to make my wedding everything I had envisioned. She had her assistant set up her equipment and she spent hours setting up everything that had to be done. At the end of all that, she did not even mention it to anyone. She did not ask to be paid for this or look for credit for it. I did not find out what she had done until AFTER I was told about our planners issue. She played ONLY the music that I told her I wanted played played. She very patiently walked me through the lists of music I would need. She made me CDs with all of our wedding music BEFORE the reception and gave them to me at the end of the night. She stayed for 2 hours after the time we had agreed on and charged me a very reasonable price for the extra time. To top all of this off she and her assistant help my mother in law to clean up and load up at the end of the night. DJ Lady Shay is amazing and had a major role in making my wedding the beautiful and memorable night it was. She was fun, enthusiastic, personable, motivated, and went above and beyond the call of duty when doing her job.She is fantastic and anyone would be lucky to have her. After almost 4 years I STILL get calls from people that were guests at my wedding asking me for her information!!

Shaina was just wonderful! She kept the crowd dancing all night and played everything my guests told me they wanted to hear as well as what my husband and I wanted! Very professional and sweet and did an awesome job helping me select music for parts of our big day! The guests loved her!

Lady Shay was amazing! She went through how I wanted every event of the night to go and helped me decide on some songs for things I couldn't decide on for myself! She also worked with the music I wanted to enter to (was only on youtube) and she made it sound professional! Once it was time to party she definitely got it started and kept it going until the last minute! We loved having her there and she did such a good job keeping everything on schedule.
