DJ Lorenzo Ross just completed my wedding for my this past weekend and he did amazing!! Did all of my song requests perfectly and worked great with my wedding coordinator! His price was also great!! Will definitely recommend! -

DJ Lorenzo did an awesome job at our wedding. He was very professional and energetic. He knows how to get the party started and keep it going. I am impressed by him and would highly recommend him to all my friends. I will definitely be using him again for my other events.

DJ Lorenzo was great to work with. He was very responsive during the planning process of our wedding and provided us with suggestions for songs. He even came to our wedding rehearsal so that he would know the flow of the wedding on the day of. We wanted uprights for our wedding, which he was also able to provide to us at an additional small fee. I would recommend him for a DJ for any event you have. His price is very reasonable, as well. -

DJ lorenzo was fantastic! my wedding had lots of children and he really got them on the floor and interacted with them. (including prizes!) he was very accommodating with what i wanted played and overall loved the whole experience! -

He was great to work with in the beginning and the day of the wedding I was just in utter shock. He completely was not prepared for the wedding ceremony and he was present at the wedding rehearsal to know the venue did not have the appropriate speakers! The experience was horrific. The whole wedding party (including the bride) walked down the aisle without music! He had some random person come and bring him a speaker after the ceremony and then the person was trying to invite the guests to come out and party. He was also given a list of events for the reception and he did not Emcee the reception at all. The best part? When it was time to dance. He did a great job! Had us dancing all night. I would hire him for a party, just not a wedding. Very disappointed.DJ Lorenzo Ross's reply:
First off, allow me to explain what really technically occurred the day of the wedding in great detail. There was a very technical Venue outlet audio power issue that caused the outcome of the ceremony music to be played at a low volume. I’m not the blame for the ceremony power issue the venue is to blame and I will explain in great detail. The venue is set up for the ceremony to take place on a roof balcony which has a power outlet outside on the roof. The outlet outside doesnt carry the same amount of power wattage as the power outlets on the inside. Let me explain. On the rehearsal day, the day before the wedding, I was prepared with all equipment and on time for the rehearsal. I had all the songs in order and everything. The rehearsal was held “inside” the venue once again that has a “different volt wattage ratio”. Everything was perfect at the rehearsal with all equipment and songs and no power outlet issues “inside the venue”. The venue associate showed me the power outlets outside but failed to mention the “outlets outside on the balcony were not powerful enough to accomodate audio equipment”.because the rehearsal was held “inside”
The next day at the wedding I was told to plug in all equipment to the “outside” outlets on the roof. When I plugged in my equipment to the outside roof outlets Insoon found out that there was not enough power volt wattage from that outlet to run my system. I was glad I got there early just in case something like this occurred I would time to try to figure out and troubleshoot the issue. I tried several technical troubleshooting methods including unplugging and plugging back up my equipment, resetting my equipment, and computers, but nothing worked. After several attempts of troubleshooting I went to venue management and asked them for a helping hand which is what I was supposed to do. I was giving two small speakers by the venue that I plugged into the same outlet but that system played sound for the ceremony but at a low sound and at that point I had a hunch something wasn’t right about the outlet because that outlet did not have enough power voltage wattage to operate even a small speaker system. At this point the ceremony began with music but not very loud due to the lack of power coming from the outlet. The people outside on the balcony could hear the music low but those inside the glass it was difficult so I cued the bridal party inside with the wave of my hand to come into the ceremony walk. Everyone did come out walk down the aisle to my cue even the bride. The ceremony “did” occur.
After the ceremony everyone went back “inside” the venue for cocktail hour and I immediately contacted my assistant to bring my back up system. He was mentioned earlier in the brides comment as some “mysterious man” , but allow me to clarify he was my assistant who brought me a back up system I wanted to test a different system which is what I was taught to do as part of my troubleshooting. Before my assistant arrived with the backup system I attempted again to troubleshoot by plugging the main system into the “outlets” on the “inside” of the venue and they gained fully power from the outlets on the “inside”. This allowed me to come to the conclusion that the power source outside on the venues roof balcony where the ceremony was held was not working and misfunctioning properly and not powerful enough with enough voltage and wattage to run a sound system. But the venue failed to mention those details. Even through all the technical difficulties from the venues “outside” outlet issues, I remained calmed, poised, professional, friendly and kind.
Once proper power was established “inside”, The reception was a success. It went on as planned with all songs being played and all activities completed according to the timeline. I made all announcements and allowed individuals to use my wireless mics during the toast to make speeches and announcements. I took all request and was still crowd engaged and the reception was energetic eventhough things started off slow. At the end of the night I was complemented by several guest family and friends on how good a job I did as the DJ and the bride and groom even took several friendly pictures with me and stated I did a “good job” and I have the pictures of us all smiling together me and the bride and the groom having a good time. That’s the truth and the entire truth in detail.
