Once I saw the work from DivineTouch, I fell immediately in love with the natural and simple glow of the makeup. I personally do not wear make-up on a regular basis, but I was excited to find someone who could help me feel natural and glamourous on my big day. Aleana was such a kind soul and understood exactly how to create natural looking makeup. She has so many years of experience and was fun to talk to. We had such a great time with the stylists at DT Bridal Artistry at my wedding. First, Christine was a pleasure to interact with and so communicative throughout the whole process. Then on the wedding day the stylists were early and quickly and expertly made all the people in our wedding parties look amazing. This was especially impressive given that our ceremony started at 10am, we were only able to get into our venue starting at 6am, and there were 7 women to do hair and makeup for. They were able to work around our requests even though a lot of the bridesmaids hadn't fully planned out their look by the time they were sat in the chair. Divine touch was absolutely amazing to work with and such a blessing for ease on my big day. I was an out of town bride doing an adventure elopement and they were so willing to meet me where I was needing to get ready. The hair and makeup done by the artist Aleana was stunning and held up so well even after romping around in a forest and running down a beach in the PNW wind. She was so receptive to what kind of inspiration I had and wanted for my day- off look and took such great care when there were things I wanted to tweak just a little for the Wedding day. DivineTouch Bridal, Christine and Aleana are absolute GEMS. I found DivineTouch Bridal by chance back in January 2024 for my wedding in July 2024. Immediately their responsiveness and professionalism stuck out to me. I had my bridal test makeup done in January, and Aleana captured exactly the look I wanted for my wedding. After months of indecisive family members, Christine was so great each time I needed to make a change to the final count for make & hair. Many last minute updates later, and she still was so communicative and wonderful to work with. On the big day, Aleana showed up and immediately went into action. She is a pro at this job, and it was clear by how she systematically worked through each one of my bridesmaids, mother in law, mother of the bride, and groom - all in 90+ degree heat in a very hot attic. I only asked for makeup, and Aleana did the exact look I requested. As someone who doesn't wear makeup, bridal makeup was a little terrifying to me. I didn't want anything too heavy, but I wanted to feel like a bride. And I recognize now how difficult it is to find a balance between those two things, but Christine did it flawlessly.
My bridal party varied from wanting a full beat to eyes only, and every one of them was happy with their hair and makeup. They also did a basic de-shine and face prep for my wife and the other masc members of the bridal party, which helped a ton with taking photos on an extremely sunny day.

Aleana and her assistant were AMAZING!!! Hair and Makeup were taken care of seamlessly for the bride, bridesmaids and mother of the bride. Aleana was professional, relaxed and asked questions to make sure we all were happy with the result. They were very aware of the climate and duration of the event and making sure hair and makeup would last all day. Christine and her team were fantastic! She's incredibly responsive, very easy to work with, respectful of bridal requests, and so talented. I'm not usually a big hair and makeup person, so this was a major point of stress for me, but Christine could not have made me feel better. Our trial was so fun and allowed me to get comfortable with bridal styling, and Christine's work on my big day was amazing. Christine did my hair and makeup for our wedding day, in addition to makeup/hair for my mom, mother-in-law, and stepdaughters. She was easygoing and friendly - fun to talk to, with a great playlist during our trial at her studio. She even entertained all my stepdaughters' questions while they watched her do several hairstyles.
Getting my makeup professionally done makes me really nervous - I wear makeup daily but don't wear foundation and prefer a more natural look. As an Asian American, I also wanted to make sure I worked with someone who knew how to accentuate my features. Christine's style was perfect for this, and I never felt overdone. She made sure I always felt like myself, and she didn't bat an eye when I kept asking her to redo eyeliner and eyebrows several times to make sure the shape was what I might do myself.
She was also really open to feedback and adjusted her method for styling my hair on my wedding day based on how things went after the trial. One tip: be sure to really test out your hair and makeup in a setting similar as your wedding (including weather and temperature). Everything worked out, but in hindsight I wish I had tested my hairstyle in windier conditions - we got married on a boat, and even though we adjusted for the wind after the trial, I would have picked something different had I known just how windy it would really be! Having said that, I'm happy with how it looked, and Christine helped me feel beautiful without making me look like someone else. The makeup also stayed put the whole afternoon/evening and looked great in photos.DivineTouch Bridal Artistry LLC.'s reply:

Wonderful HMU service
Celia and her cousin (from Glamsociety) were the ones to do the HMU for my wedding on July 22, 2023. They were both experienced in both areas and made all of us look like the best versions of ourselves without over doing the makeup. Talented, professional, fantastic customer experience
I am so glad I booked Christine to do my wedding day hair and makeup. What a professional, prompt, patient, and kind person to work with. She has excellent time management and did a great job handling the hair and makeup needs of myself and my bridal party. I felt like so many things threatened to ruin my experience, from the moment I signed her contract to the day of my wedding, and Christine handled each of them with grace and ease. I had to reschedule my wedding (twice) due to the pandemic, and she made it simple and easy. When I had my trial appointment, I left feeling gorgeous and excited, but after I saw myself in photos, I got cold feet and panicked - I was terrified that the updo I had chosen (although beautiful in-person) would make me look bald in my photos. When I reached out to Christine about it, she reassured me that this is what trial runs were for, and we could adjust anything to make sure I was happy - even if I wanted to choose a different hairstyle. I ended up sticking with the updo and sent her a veritable novel of notes, which she accepted courteously. The night before my big day, I reached out to her in a panic again - I was having literally the worst breakout of my entire life and I was in tears over how self-conscious I felt in my own skin. Again, Christine didn’t miss a beat and recommended some emergency products I could use to help the worst of it, and assured me that she would have no problems concealing the excessive amount of inflammation I was experiencing. Christine took every one of my concerns seriously and never made me feel judged or silly about them. She has a calming demeanor and is incredibly easy to talk to - an absolute blessing on what can be the most nerve-wracking day of your life. On my wedding day, my hair and makeup looked just as I’d hoped. Christine had me feeling confident and beautiful.DivineTouch Bridal Artistry LLC.'s reply:

Professional and flexible
Aleana from Divine Touch was so kind and helpful on my wedding day! I had a couple of changes after wearing the trial look all day, and she delivered with no issue. She was also super sweet with my three younger sisters, all of whom were having their hair done for the first time. Amazing team!
Christine and Joelle were amazing for my wedding day! We had a large bridal party (and a Mama) getting both hair and makeup done, and they were right on time (even with a hard-to-find Airbnb!), efficient, friendly, and wonderful women to have with us!
All of us were incredibly happy with how both our hair and makeup turned out, even some of the group who did not have the best previous experience with getting their hair and makeup done.

I chose Divine Touch Makeup Artistry because I wanted natural makeup for my wedding, and Christine and Aleana delivered!! My husband is used to me wearing little to no makeup on an everyday basis, and he was very pleased that I still “looked like myself” on our wedding day, even with a full face of makeup! Christine’s communication was extremely professional and quick, and I am so grateful that she worked with me on several revisions to our day-of schedule so that all eight bridal party members were completely ready before our two scheduled First Looks. For any brides looking for a HMUA, I strongly recommend working with Christine. She creates a safe space to share feedback (especially if it's something you struggle to do) without taking it personally. She listens and executes to perfection. In the end, she wants you to feel your best and go with what you want. I ended up loving my hair and make-up on the day off and so did my mom and sister. They both thought Christine was super nice and easy to talk to. DevineTouch was very responsive from the start, they put me in contact with one of their makeup artists, Aleana. Aleana allowed my bridesmaids and me to come to her home for the bridal trial, and was very flexible with timing. She listened to my ideas for my hair and makeup and executed them flawlessly. DevineTouch was able to add my mom on to the contract a week before the wedding, and Aleana was able to come to the hotel early to do her hair and makeup. As a bride who doesn't wear makeup often, I was initially nervous about hair & makeup on the wedding day. During the makeup trial, Christine was incredibly personable and created a natural look for me that my then fiancé was blown away by.
On the day of the wedding, Christine arrived at my getting ready spot promptly and was super efficient doing hair & makeup not just for me, but my 3 bridesmaids and mother too. She played music to create a relaxing atmosphere and set a calming tone for everyone before the ceremony. Awesome wedding hair and makeup!
Christine at Divine Touch was so fun to work with! She has a small, cute studio in West Seattle where I did my trial which was great. She was very flexible on making notes of the changes I wanted to make too. She traveled to my wedding venue in Auburn and was super professional, funny, and quick. I got my hair and makeup, and she also did my sister’s and mom’s hair.
I was especially in love with my make up and really appreciated that she still let my freckles show through. Beauty wise, I was elevated but still myself which is exactly what I wanted. :) Highly recommend booking with Christine!DivineTouch Bridal Artistry LLC.'s reply:

Lovely Experience
Cici was wonderful to work with during my makeup trial and the day of my wedding. She created a beautiful initial look, was responsive to my requests, and happy to collaborate on things I wanted just slightly different. She also dealt very well with needing to catch a ferry that was delayed by a pod of orcas and then finding our AirBnb that was tucked away in the woods. Cici also managed the hair and makeup of my mother and mother-in-law marvelously. Correspondence with Christine (the owner) was fast, easy, and very flexible.DivineTouch Bridal Artistry LLC.'s reply:

With just my hair and makeup, and flower girl hair, most vendors weren't willing to take the job. DT was responsive and comparatively affordable. Natalie arrived right on time for both my trial and the wedding day. She took my notes and applied them for both hair and makeup, and I got plenty of compliments. Christine and Maddie did an amazing job helping myself, my bridesmaids, and the moms look beautiful on my wedding day! Throughout the entire process Christine was super responsive, from the trial to the day of. She listened to everything I wanted and truly delivered, and it didn't phase her when I contacted her two weeks before the big day with a hair crisis and she walked me through it and problem solved. Christine and her team were absolutely amazing! I had 8 bridesmaids, two mothers and myself as the bride, who all wanted some type of make-up and/or hair services. Christine worked with me to put together a schedule for the morning and it included a large mix of some makeup only, some hair only or both services. She was always available to me leading up to the day if I had questions, including offering help on what type of hair extensions to purchase. The morning of my wedding she arrived promptly and even called the hotel staff to bring up extra chairs to provide the services. Her team did such a great job that some of my bridesmaids, who initially did not want to get their makeup done, changed their mind because they saw how great everyone else looked! Christine allowed us to add the additional services without any hesitation, and somehow all 11 of us still completed all our hair and makeup on schedule! I was so pleased with the makeup and hair provided by Aleana at my wedding on 9/1/19. She was so kind and professional. Not only was she extremely skilled and did an excellent job, but she was great at being flexible with the last minute changes that I asked for for my makeup. Divine Touch was so amazing to work with! Christine was quick to respond, update and answer questions. I have been a part of weddings where just 1 person has does everyone's make-up, so we had to start getting ready at 6am. I had 8 bridesmaids, both mom and mother in law and myself and she scheduled 3 stylists to come do our hair and makeup. I had asked for a few different times because I was unsure of when I wanted to start and when photos would begin. Christine was so flexible and adjusted the schedule both times. All stylists did an amazing job and actually finished an hour early with plenty of time for touch ups when needed. Hannah did my trial and wedding hair and make up and she was so personable, friendly and did an incredible job. Hannah came to my apartment for the hair and make-up trial which was super convenient. I ended up wanting to change my hair style the day of my wedding from the trial and Hannah was easily able to work with me to create the exact look I wanted with no adjustments needed!
