Best wedding planners in the business

My husband and I cannot applaud Lisa Dean and Brit Burks enough. They were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us from day 1. We had a good chunk of our wedding planned but then Coronavirus hit. Lisa was comforting, positive and reassured us she would do anything to keep our day the same. Throughout those tough months, she made detailed plans, lists of options and never stopped working tirelessly for us. She made our dream come true! Our wedding in August was absolutely magical and a blast for everyone involved. In the midst of a global pandemic, Lisa was the one who made this wedding so successful. Brides always recount mistakes and errors from their big day but I can honestly say there were none for us because of Lisa and Brit. I have already recommended Divine Wedding Details to 4 of my engaged friends and I will continue to do so! Hands down the best wedding planners and we are eternally grateful for them!

A Calm Presence Through the Entire Process

As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I had the pleasure of working with Lisa of DWD Special Events, and I can recommend her wholeheartedly.

What stood out to me most about Lisa was her ability to make a complicated process feel manageable. Weddings involve countless decisions, details, and moving parts, and yet Lisa brought a calm, reassuring presence that helped everyone feel they were in capable hands.

As someone who works closely with planners throughout the wedding day, I especially appreciate professionals who understand that their role extends far beyond logistics. Lisa was not simply coordinating an event. She was guiding a couple through one of the most important experiences of their lives. That perspective was evident in every interaction.

What I remember most was how supported the couple felt. There was a sense of trust that allowed them to relax and enjoy the celebration rather than worry about what might happen next. That is one of the greatest gifts a planner can provide, and Lisa delivered it beautifully.

She was also a wonderful collaborator. Communication was clear, coordination with the vendor team was seamless, and she handled the inevitable surprises that accompany every wedding with professionalism and grace.

The wedding felt organized without feeling rigid, polished without feeling formal, and joyful without feeling chaotic. That balance does not happen by accident. It reflects the care, preparation, and experience that Lisa brings to her work.

I would gladly recommend Lisa and DWD Special Events to any couple looking for a planner who combines professionalism, compassion, organization, and a genuine commitment to helping couples enjoy every step of the journey.

An excellent wedding coordinator at an unbeatable price

We used Divine Wedding Details for our wedding and could not have been more pleased with the experience. From the word go Lisa and her team were always there to field any questions or concerns we had. They took so much of the heavy lifting over and made our day stress free. I was also blown away to find a coordinator with such an extensive catalog of décor that was included in their fee. I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone.

The best planner in the industry

Lisa Dean is THE BEST wedding planner in the industry hands down!!! From the very beginning, she guided us through the process and made all our dreams a reality. There is no other word to describe her than AMAZING!! She was always very thorough and fast to communicate and her industry knowledge and professionalism show in everything she does. She goes above and beyond as a planner, and it is clear in her work. She is meticulous about all the details and really stived to make our wedding perfect. She was there every step of the way, and we could not have done it without her. Lisa and Brit made sure our wedding day went perfectly. If there were any issues, we did not know about them because Lisa was on top of everything! I did not feel any stress at all for our wedding (which is unheard of), thanks to Lisa and Brit. They are the best in the industry, and we highly recommend Divine Wedding Details to anyone that’s getting married!!

Best Wedding Planner = Best Wedding

Lisa did the most amazing job with every detail of our daughter's wedding. I will use her for every event I do in the future. On multiple occasions she headed off problems way before we would have known there was going to be a problem. She is the hardest worker and keeps you on track with every detail of your event! She is amazing, and I can not say enough good things about her, her team, and the service she provides!

June Pandemic Wedding

Lisa and Brit were amazing! It was so nice to have someone to help us out with our big day. Lisa came to our house and loaded up all of my wedding decor for me! On top of everything, she helped us plan and get things done during a pandemic, of all things. They were so pleasant to work with, and I would highly recommend them if you want help with all the details! They are also affordable!

Advocate and Detail Oriented

Lisa made our whole experience so easy. She advocated for us with all of our other vendors, saving us time and money, and making sure our contracts protected us. Lisa was very detail oriented throughout the whole process. The portal was used was comprehensive and easy to use to make sure we remained on task and on time. When the day of came, we felt confident and calm as everything was taken care of. I'm sure Lisa and her team had some frustrating situations come up, but we never heard about them and had a fantastic day. We recommend Lisa 100%. Her commitment to excellence and to her couples was amazing.

During my corporate career, I planned various functions in the USA and Europe. Knowing how detailed a planner must be for an outstanding event, I interviewed three highly recommended planners in the DFW area. We contracted with Lisa and her awesome team at Divine Wedding Details. Lisa has a brilliant “type A” personality and is super friendly. Besides Lisa being a great planner, her recommended vendors never disappointed. Her whole team transformed each venue into the ambiance you expect for you daughter’s wedding. Lisa is AMAZING! I was very excited to get married but felt overwhelmed and stressed about planning one of the most important days of my life. Flawless!

I don't even know where to start! Lisa Dean is ABSOLUTELY and POSITIVELY perfect!!!! She is a master of her craft and it truly shows. The first time Lisa and I had spoken, I was living in Denver trying to plan a wedding in Dallas, Texas. We were on the phone for over an hour and a half and right then and there I knew she was it for my husband and me. I don't think there was a time Lisa wasn't already ahead of the game. She did everything for us so the no stress factor was worth every penny of hiring Lisa as our planner. She knew our budget and found vendors that suited our finances as well as our personalities. She took the time to know us and really put together an unforgettable night. Lisa and her team have been working together on our wedding for almost two years and she feels like a part of the family honestly! It almost feels empty not communicating with her as often anymore now that our wedding is over. Anytime I needed Lisa, she was there. She was quick to reply and schedule meetings for us and with us when we needed it. If you're looking for someone who is always in communication with you so you're in the loop about everything, she is the person for you! Not only is Lisa great at her job, but she knows just about everyone and has been in this field for a long time so she knows what goes into wedding planning. I'd argue and say Lisa is actually the number one planner in Dallas, Texas, but not everyone has been lucky to have found her from a google search like I did. She even went with me to my bridal fittings (my bridesmaids were all out of state) and my alteration appointments. She was an extension of me when I couldn't do something and that was such a sigh of relief with our busy schedules. Wedding day, Lisa was on high alert! I wasn't even aware of any issues we had - that's how good she is!!! I would redo my entire wedding day over and over again if it meant working with Lisa. She is worth the cost - trust us on this! Never have a wedding without a planner!

Lisa was fantastic at coordinating all of our vendors and making great recommendations and suggestions about what would/wouldn't work. When some issues arose with our venue on the wedding day she did her best to try and remedy the situation on site and then followed up multiple with us and the venue to make sure in the end we were happy. Lisa went above and beyond for something that was beyond her control. We would definitely recommend her in the future.

Exceeded every expectation!

I don’t know what we would have done if we hadn’t found Lisa! Our wedding planner went MIA two weeks before the wedding so it was an absolute miracle that we found Divine Wedding Details. She came highly recommended and believe me words do not do Lisa justice! She thought of things that hadn’t even crossed my mind (or my previous wedding planners mind) and she was able to take charge and ease my stress. She had a backup plan in case it rained and coordinated all of the other vendors which is a full time job of itself! I cannot say enough amazing things about Lisa!!!

Lisa and her team were one of the best investments we made for our wedding!
Personally, I debated hiring a planner or day of coordinator and quickly realized it was a definite MUST I didn’t want to just hire someone who would start working with me the last 30 days and take over vendors then since I knew if I was gonna need help it wasn’t going to be just the few weeks before. However being as picky as I am I wanted to find someone whom I knew would take care of business similar to me or better since I knew the day of I would not be able to. Lisa is TENACIOUS, hard working, and will ensure to lay out your vision for your wedding!
She helped us in so many ways, went the extra, extra mile to make sure things were as discussed. It was almost like hiring personal wedding insurance to ease in the whole process. We had a vendor back out right before the wedding but she immediately took care of it before I could even finish my work day! It was such a blessing to be able to say “Questions? Talk to Lisa!”
I have had a few friends get married and I can say not one of their coordinators hired for their wedding day provides the same level of service DWD provides.
Lastly, my process was so delightful with DWD that I felt that I had hired a true wedding planner (kind of like an upgraded MOH with experience and knowledge!). DWD = as important as a ??
I really can’t say enough about my experience both our families loved working with Lisa. I would recommend DWD to everyone of my friends!

Every part of working with Lisa to plan my wedding was an absolute pleasure. She instantly knew our vision and did everything she could do deliver only the best to us. Lisa is great to work with! It was apparent that she had well-established relationships with vendors and was able to help us find all the right people for the wedding. She closely monitored the budget and provided up-to-date reminders of payments to keep us on schedule. Lisa at Devine Wedding Details was amazing, and helped us with our 4/28 venue. Throughout the planning to the ceremony, Lisa was there to help every step of the way. She was crucial in identifying venues, helped us narrow down venues (often asking questions we would have never thought to ask), and negotiated our venue. In planning, she organized everything with multiple vendors and kept us on track with everything we needed to do along the way. When it came to the wedding, Lisa was on her A-game and ensured that literally, everything went as smooth as possible. My wife and I did not need to stress out at all during the wedding day, and Lisa even stayed well past the wedding time to ensure everything was packed and ready to go back to the vendors after the wedding. I honestly do not know how we could have done our wedding without Lisa.

Lisa and her team were amazing. Lisa stayed on top of things to make sure we were completing everything in a timely manner. She would remind us when we needed to pay attention and take care of matters. She knew what we wanted and the day of the wedding, she and her team took care of everything for us so we did not have to worry about anything. At the end of the night, she told me to go home and she would finish picking up and sorting out all of our stuff. She helped make our day a magical experience. As mother of bride and living out of town, I did not worry because I knew Lisa had me covered.

Hmmm.....where to begin? :-) First off, when we first began planning this wedding; I had a pretty fair idea of the work and coordination that would go along with it, as I had just planned a wedding a couple years ago with another daughter. While our first wedding went very well, it certainly involved a lot of work for me (mother-of-the-bride) and the day of the wedding, a lot of my time was spent with vendors arriving, making sure the timeline went as planned, etc., etc. I learned from this experience, and with this wedding, I wanted to be able to enjoy the evening's festivities; as well as have some help coordinating things beforehand. At the time we hired Lisa and her crew, I already had several of the vendors hired and it was SO NICE to hand it all over, and let Lisa and Divine Wedding Details do all the coordinating from that point on. It honestly was some of the best money we spent! I cannot stress that point enough!!! From the very beginning...from our first phone consultation...it felt like I had known Lisa a long time....she is very easy to talk to. Very friendly, has good ideas; but is absolutely fine if you have ideas different from hers, is great at contacting all your vendors and "keeping them all in line" and is top-notch at keeping all parties (bride, bride's family, vendors) all on the same page. There are no surprises, and everyone knows what everyone else is doing; which in my opinion, is a huge part in having an event go smoothly. The day of the wedding went absolutely amazing!! Everything; and I do mean everything, went exactly as planned and fell into place as close to perfect as possible. Lisa stayed in touch with us throughout the day, brought all the bouquets, etc. to the hotel we were staying at; and offered assistance with whatever we needed. The venue looked beautiful; timeline went smoothly; and Lisa was VERY diligent in monitoring all aspects of the event. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Divine Wedding Details!!!

Lisa and her team did an excellent job, creating a perfect wedding weekend for my daughter, her fiancé, families and guests! She helped us with vendor recommendations and negotiations...having recently been through two weddings, with wedding planners in a different state, Lisa and her team are by far THE best from start to finish. Every detail was in place, within a budget. While my daughter lives in the Dallas area and is familiar with vendors, her father and I are not. Lisa guided us to 2-3 vendors for each area we needed, never failing to please with the end result.

Other than deciding to marry each other, hiring Lisa and DWD was the best decision my husband and I made in our wedding. I was under a lot of stress at work, under a lot of stress planning the wedding, and by the time we met Lisa I’m pretty sure I had a mental breakdown during the consultation. But after meeting her, ALL of the stress of wedding planning was lifted. Her years of experience definitely shine through. She is organized and on top of everything and sends timelines and reminders when it is time to do the next step in the process, but the tone she presents herself with makes the process smooth and easy rather than rushed and hectic. She answers all calls and emails ASAP, which is a relief for the crazy bride. She even came to my fitting and picked up my dress! Lisa also has AMAZING contacts for vendors in the DFW area. People are STILL talking about how great our band was, and we are swooning over our photos (photographers were a joy to work with, too), just to name a couple. Now in terms of the day of: the very first thing I did when I woke up was accidentally snap my hair piece in half. I was disappointed, but figured something goes wrong with every wedding and if this was the worst that was going to happen that’s pretty good. I was mistaken: NOTHING went wrong with my wedding. Lisa showed up to check in on how our hair/makeup prep was going and found out what happened. She asked where I bought it, took a picture of it, and within half an hour I had a brand new hair piece ready to go. The entire day ran like a well oiled machine. I barely remember seeing Lisa, but I was guided throughout the night in a smooth process that made it more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Both sets of parents have stated numerous times that we can’t even imagine doing this process without her. She and her team are the best, and they have given us the most memorable, joyful night of our lives. Thank you!

I interviewed many planners - including a few famous ones in the DFW. I am so glad I choose Lisa and her team for our wedding. Lisa was so attentive, from the start of the planning process a year ago to the day of she would always communicate in a timely manner. We had a few mishaps, out of our control - one being losing our venue just a few months before our wedding (keep in mind we had a peak month/weekend in Dallas for weddings and we had multiple events). She called us right away when she found out what was happening and had lined us up with other venues within the week. My husband and I work full time and mostly out of town, not once did I think things were not getting done on the planners end when we were not available. She made sure to stay on top of email, text messages and phone calls and made sure that I did too! Our wedding was days long (South Indian/fusion wedding) and between her and her team members they were so organized and made sure everything was done perfectly or found a way to make it right. She even researched things I may have forgotten in the planning process for a South Indian wedding, found sources and came to us with ideas/thoughts. Divine Wedding Details made sure to work with everyone who was a part of our wedding (groom, bride, wedding party, etc.) and were courteous, accommodating and flexible. No job was too big/small for them. I still receive compliments from my aunties and friends about how good our wedding planner and her team were. They can't stop saying how nice they were to the guests and treated them as if they were the bride or groom. Something that threw me a little off guard was how Lisa and her team took an interest to who we are and our interests and made sure to add them into the little details of our wedding. Even after our wedding, she knew I was not happy with a few vendors (things missing/broken or forgotten) and she fought for us to be reimbursed for those items. You won't be disappointed by this team!

As a parent of the bride I was throughly pleased with Lisa and her team at Divine Wedding Details. She always responded to texts, emails, calls within 24 hours (if not within a couple hours). We had a traditional Indian wedding which does mean that we had events leading up to the wedding. She checked in on every event and when it came to the day before and the wedding day she was there from sun up to very late in the evening till the task is done. Her team was ahead of us from the small details to the bigger items and she always made sure to take care of any conflict away from us. I would recommend her and her team to anyone looking for an event planner.

We originally booked Lisa as our wedding planner because our venue had to do a flip between the ceremony/reception & I wanted someone professional who could turn the space over quickly. Lisa became so much more than our wedding planner. She is our friend. She is so sweet & she really cares about each of her couples. I really opened up to her about all my worries with our wedding. We had some awkward family dynamics between my fiance and I's family. However, she took care of everything for us! I met with her several times to plan our wedding. She was always on time, made sure we had each detail covered, & every issue/worry was discussed. Everything was planned exactly as I always imagined my wedding would be.

I know this sounds cliche but since high school many moons ago, I have a dreamed of the perfect autumn wedding with pumpkins. Our colors ended up being eggplant/plum, burnt orange & burgundy. Now with our venue everything had to be inside, the ceremony & reception. It's very difficult to have a formal, elegant fall wedding with pumpkins when really we should have been getting married out in a forest of changing colored leaves with my ideas for pumpkins & flowers. However, when we walked into the ceremony and reception - I was blown away about how amazing it all looked. The pumpkins, the colors, everything. It was more than I could have imagined has a high schooler and now as a woman in the my 30s. I have Lisa and Micaela to thank for how amazing it all looked. My fiance and I were speechless going into our venue as we were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Lisa and Micaela went above and beyond. We truly could not have had our dream wedding without them!

All night I got so many compliments on our wedding. It was all Lisa and Micaela. I had the idea in my head but they executed it perfectly and then some. If you want an amazing wedding planner who is very reasonably priced and will put your dream wedding into reality, you need Lisa & Micaela.

Lisa was our saving grace for the wedding! She was so friendly, nice, and helped to save our wedding day when we had unexpected issues arise. She is very professional and has experience in contract law which was so helpful when I didn't feel like reading the fine print for each vendor contract. I hired her for month of coordination but she was only a phone call or email away if I ever had any questions during the plannng process or needed a vendor suggestion.

Lisa Dean was the glue that held it all together. She had the patience of Job with us, since my daughter lives in a different state. She made us feel like we were the only wedding she was working on and constantly held my hand as a mom through the entire process. She was also even willing to help out the mother-of-the-groom on rehearsal planninf as well, and even helped negotiate details for her bridal shower for my sister. There is literally nothing she isn't willing to do. Always pleasant and with a sweet spirit and a heart of gold she worked tirelessly to make my daughter's day a perfect one! Lisa Dean was an amazing coordinator for our special day. Not only did she make sure the wedding day was perfect (from the biggest to smallest details), she made sure that the process was seamless from start to finish. She was a trusted adviser on complicated matters, and always offered sound advice. She also helped us save money, and was honest about things to keep and what to cut and went to bat for us when vendors were difficult to work with. My mom and I were in different cities during the planning process, and Lisa was there for dress fittings, went with me to appointments, and made sure I was taken care of when my mom could not be there. Within the first couple of minutes of our initial interview I knew she was The One. Lisa Dean has that Can Do attitude to ease anyone’s anxiety about wedding planning. Coupled with her prior business experience and years of a being a certified wedding planner, anything is possible. She’s a great contract negotiator, keen on keeping within budget constraints, offers workaround, manages timelines well, and has a great short list of amazing vendors. And she has a great sense of humor and personality to calm anybody’s nerves. Lisa offered her assurance and support when I was not available to meet vendors with my daughter (I live in Houston) and graciously responded to long rambling emails from me. Lisa made herself available for three way conference calls even when one of us was traveling. Lisa kindly contributed her time and inventory the day of the wedding even when given a very small window of time by the venue to do so. The reception was logistically challenging and Lisa remained behind the scene and made certain the bride and groom were attended to so they could enjoy the happiest day of their lives. The whole wedding weekend was magical and Lisa and Micaela were essential in making it all happen. I wholeheartedly recommend Divine Wedding Details to any bride, at any budget. They comprehend the vision and know the path to get there. Thank You Lisa and Micaela!!!!

We cannot recommend Lisa enough! I interviewed over 15 planners before I found Lisa and I am SO thankful I found her before I gave up on hiring one. She offers an incredible value for what she charges and is flexible in what services she offers, she has a lot of connections in the wedding industry, and she was so helpful during the planning process, rehearsal, and wedding. Additionally, I had a major issue when my dress came in from the bridal store from the designer and had dirt marks on it and pulls in the fabric and they would not get me a new dress. The store fought me for an entire week about keeping it and I finally got Lisa involved. She took over the entire situation and stalked them (for lack of a better term) via phone and in person until they resolved the situation and magically, they were able to have a new dress made for me in time. It really seems like Lisa cares about her brides and doesn't just do wedding planning to make money and quickly churn through clients. Our families and bridal party even commented how "on it" Lisa and her assistant Brittney were the day of. Hire Lisa - she will be the best vendor decision you make.

Lisa with DWD was amazing! She tailored the amount of help she provided for each item to my level of interest in making the decision. The vendors she suggested were great and she handled all the details with them, including reminding me when payments were due, etc. On the day of the wedding, she handled everything beautifully, including the freak out (and hiding it from me) when they realized the groom forgot his tux. She was able to adjust the schedule in order to still fit in everything we wanted, even with doing the grooms pictures after the ceremony. I'm sure things got stressful for her but as the bride I was able to relax and just enjoy my day,knowing she had it all covered! Also, she has an assistant that is so stealth in handling the details that I never even met her. I would recommend DWD for any bride, but especially those that want to be a little more hands-off but still have a beautiful wedding! Worth EVERY penny, just ask my thrilled guests!

Lisa and her team made our dream wedding a reality. She introduced us to all of our vendors and they too were amazing. Lisa and her team handled everything so gracefully that when something went a little off-track my husband and I didn't even notice. Lisa and her team were absolutely phenomenal. I booked her when my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I didn't think I could take on planning a whole wedding on my own and am SO glad I did. Not only did she completely take the stress of planning off my mind, but she was also incredibly supportive of my family situation and tried to incorporate my mom as much into planning as possible in addition to sending flowers to her in the hospital.

She completely understood my vision of what I wanted for the wedding and wasn't scared to be my advocate when vendors got pushy. She was organized, kept me on top of payments and decisions that needed to be made, and was a lifesaver for the actual weekend.

Having Lisa helped me be able to sit back and enjoy my wedding without worrying about the details. She recommended great vendors and helped cut costs by letting us use some of her decorations. I'm so glad I picked Divine Wedding Details and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Lisa is absolutely amazing! If you need someone who is going to not play games and get stuff done then Lisa is your planner. She was on top of all the details, which was a bit crazy since it was a DIY wedding. Leading up to the wedding, she was very communicative and prompt with keeping me on schedule. I had a planner before Lisa who just stopped talking to me and disappeared. Due to that experience, I was a little nervous coming into another contract with a planner. Lisa was so understanding and did everything she could to make me feel at ease and take away any stress or concerns I had. I honestly don't know if I could have done it without her. The weekend of the wedding her assistant happened to get sick, but she had a backup asap and they both worked unbelievably hard. On the day of, everyone was still trying to finish decorating and setting up. She was there from 11am to I'm sure almost 1am. She is the type to just jump in, even if its not her job to ensure things run smoothly. I saw here running around getting ice at one point, straightening things up, picking up trash etc. No one bothered me and she just took care of everything, which allowed me to have a wonderful day without stress. My mom and I were so grateful to be able to focus and enjoy the day! You will absolutely get what you pay for and much much more with Lisa. I interviewed 10 planners and you cannot beat Lisa's cost and work ethic. She is hardworking and so delightful! Thank you SOO SOOO SOO much Lisa! You are the best. :-)

Lisa is amazing! We couldn't ask for a better planner. She is worth every penny. We dealt with a very difficult venue and Lisa was able to get them under control and ease me and my now husbands wedding. She not only handled the crazy venue, but my crazy family when we all came together for the rehearsal. She kept everyone in line and kept things from getting out of hand. Lisa Dean will bend over backwards to get you the most amazing wedding possible. Her price is incredibly affordable compared to many wedding planners who do the same thing. Most notable, she used to work in a law firm and uses her negotiating skills with vendors and everything else. With this skill, she basically saves you enough money to pay her own fee. If you are looking for a budget friendly wedding planner, she is your woman!

What would we have done without Lisa and her staff??? Really. ;) I don't think I can possibly express in words what she meant to us throughout the planning process, not to mention the day of the wedding! As the bride, I was able to completely enjoy the wedding day and was completely oblivious to any "issues." This is worth her fee on its own!!! Furthermore, she somehow made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with at the time, and went out of her way to be responsive and helpful. Because of Lisa and her team, our wedding was even more than I could have ever imagined; perfectly executed; and everyone still tells us it was one of the greatest weddings they have ever attended. Let me start by saying what a blessing Lisa Dean was! We had to terminate our relationship with our previous planner due to poor service/responsiveness. When I interviewed Lisa, I just knew she would be the right person to take on my wedding. I work full-time and then some and also have a 3 year old, so "wedding planning" was not fitting into my calendar. Lisa took on my wedding from start to finish and made every single detail absolutely perfect. Any time anyone asked me how the wedding planning was going, I would say "I am sure it is going wonderfully, Lisa is handling it!" She literally made me the most stress free bride and once she got a handle on my style and the details that were important to me she put me in contact with the right vendors and made our day so beautiful and special. Lisa Dean was absolutely phenomenal to work with for my wedding festivities! Being in the event planning business myself, I definitely wanted someone to 'work' my wedding so I wouldn't have to and I could enjoy the day. You better believe I enjoyed every single minute! There was no rushing and things went perfectly planned. I couldn't ask for a better day!

Working with Lisa was like working with your close personal friend. I could have sat and talked weddings all day with her! She gave me great advice and brought awesome decor to the table when I needed it! All of things I didn't want to do, she had already done (itineraries and timelines)! She kept me on task and up to date on all of my wedding plans. Talk about stress free planning!

Her assistant Micaela was amazing as well. It is great knowing that two people are looking out for you...not only leading up to your big day but on the big day.

Lisa Dean was the most helpful and genuine planner. She went above and beyond for us! I loved her overall personality and the way that she was able to tactfully contact and discuss with vendors. It was reassuring to have someone make calls for me with such confidence. She always had many options and ideas for every detail and was willing to change or adjust based on our preferences at a moment's notice. Throughout the planning, she was courteous of our time and was prompt to respond to any emails, calls or texts. This was comforting because we knew we could rely on her anytime I was overwhelmed, confused or just needed some advice.
Lisa had so many ideas for decor and arrangements and had a tremendous inventory to support her ideas and show us exactly what she was thinking and tailor it to our vision. In addition, her vendors were very accommodating and got us anything she did not have on hand.
Our experience was overall low stress and our wedding turned out beautifully!

Lisa was a God-send. I was towards the end of the planning process to be my day-of coordinator, but honestly, I wasn't sure at the time if I even needed someone. Lisa listened patiently to all my needs and concerns (especially about budget) and put together a custom package for me. Fortunately for me, she delivered so much more than she promised. I had big issues with my reception venue on the day-of (which included set-up, decor, catering, bar service) and Lisa was there fighting for me and my vision the whole time. Even the difficult and last minute decision she had to make on my behalf were just what I would have chosen for myself. She arrived early, stayed late, met with me countless times, and even went so far to make up for the venue's mistakes by taking drink orders in the bar line!

After I had already paid Lisa and my event was over, she still worked with me for weeks after to facilitate communication with the venue and compile a very detailed and lengthy list of items that had gone awry as a result of their carelessness. She was my advocate and my comfort during a very difficult aftermath.

My husband, my parents, and I all agree Lisa was the best money spent on my wedding. Hands down.

Lisa was such a valuable asset at our destination wedding, from the time we started planning (over a year in advance) to the day after our wedding. The resort had their own "planner", but they should take notes from Lisa as to what kind of work/passion it entails. Lisa treats every wedding/bride as if it were her own and works overtime to ensure things go off without a hit (so bride and groom can ENJOY their special day, rather than stress about the details). I was so lucky to be able to have Lisa present for the event to make sure our wedding day was everything we could imagine.

Lisa also planned a trip to visit 2 potential destination wedding locations and set up visit with various vendors.

My wife and I got married abroad and therefore wanted to have a celebration in the United States for my family. Planning an overseas wedding and honeymoon was almost all we could handle, so having Lisa available to plan our US celebration was such a weight off of our shoulders. The celebration turned out exactly as I expected it, and even better in many ways. Lisa was always professional in all of my interactions with her, and I would recommend her to any friend planning a large event.

Lisa and her team were great and helped to plan a wonderful wedding. Lisa is very attentive and has immense industry knowledge, which came in very helpful when negotiating contracts and picking reasonably priced vendors. Lisa always has the brides best interest in mind and will see to it that your wedding is beautiful and that you do not over pay. She is extremely detailed oriented and helped us to stay on top of everything and remain organized.

When my wife first said she wanted to hire a wedding planner I wasn't entirely sure I was on board. I didn't appreciate how much work truly went into a wedding even when we wanted a "simple" one. By the end of it I truly saw Lisa as a friend and someone I could trust and rely on. That's what you want. Someone that you can put your faith in and will guide you in the right direction. I'd recommend this group to anyone and am thankful that they could be a part of a special day for me.

Lisa was absolutely wonderful from day one! She was accommodating and extremely resourceful throughout the whole process. We had a few snags with our venue and she handled everything perfectly despite the hassle. She is also very thorough which is what sold us to begin with. She double, triple, and quadruple checks all contracts to make sure everything is done right, which is invaluable. Our big day would never have been possible without her guidance and support. We will be forever grateful for having been referred to her!

Lisa was honestly the reason why our wedding went so perfectly. Planning a wedding in 6 months from across the country is no easy task, but Lisa worked with us every step of the way. She responded instantly when we had questions and worries, found us our DREAM venue, and spoke and coordinated with all our vendors. My husband, my mom, and I cannot say anything but absolutely amazing things about Lisa and Divine Wedding Details. If you are on the fence about a wedding planner and wondering if it is worth the extra money, listen to me when I say DO IT! :) it will save stress the entire time and you'll get the chance to meet and work with the wonderful person that Lisa Dean is!

Lisa Dean is so incredibly knowledgeable about all facets of wedding planning. She found a venue for my daughter's wedding that was PERFECT but was so new that it wasn't yet on the wedding websites. She proved that there is so much more out there than these websites indicate. Ditto for vendors. We were given contracts from every vendor and Lisa went through them thoroughly so that there were no surprises. We had a budget that we wanted to stick to (or close to) and Lisa was so helpful in helping us cut corners where we wanted to. She is so organized and responsive via emails or text messages, and ever so patient, even when we changed our minds about things. This was no small feat considering the bride lived in another part of the country from the ceremony site. She also helped arrange blocks of hotel rooms and shuttle transportation for out out-of-town guests. It has been two days since my daughter's wedding and I realized today that because of Lisa I was not nervous or stressed when the big day came. That is a big testament to her handling of all the details. What people need to know above and beyond all that is that Lisa Dean is a wonderful person. Period. You will not meet a nicer or more generous person to guide you through this wedding planning business. Now I see why my two friends who recommended her love her so much.

I had the absolute pleasure to work with Lisa Dean and Micaela, when I say they are awesome I mean that does them no justice. From the time I first reached out to them up until now I have felt like I gained a true friend. Lisa was there when she didn't need to be and went above and beyond to make sure we were stress free. The moment I will always remember was when I was about to walk down the aisle Lisa looked at me with the proudest expression and I can truly feel that she genuinely was happy for me and my husband. I can not express how much she is there for her brides. She treated me like family not like a client or a dollar sign. I have no clue where to begin. From the moment I met Lisa I felt like I have known her forever. She not only went above and far beyond the call of duty... she went over the top and out of this world !!! She is professional and caring and you can clearly tell that she is genuine in all she does. Her assistant Micaela was awesome as well. Together they make an incredible team. There were times when I wanted to call my wedding off due to the stress that other vendors were causing, but Lisa to the rescue she ensured that I did not have to deal with them and stayed stress free. By the time my wedding came all I had to do was sit back and relax. Lisa even worked while on her vacation out of the country she still went above and beyond to make sure my day was "MY" day and I must say it was flawless..or at least if there was an issue it never reached me and my husband because Lisa and Micaela took care of it. I thank God that I had the pleasure to meet a beautiful person like her and to have the pleasure to work with Divine Wedding Details. I would recommend them ANYONE planning a wedding or renewing vows ..at the end of the day you will have gained a friend not just hired a company. Thank you sooooo much Divine Wedding Details

Lisa and her team were unbelievable! The wedding was fabulous and if anything went wrong, I have no idea - the Divine Wedding Details took care of everything so we did not have to worry. From the beginning she provided us with information and insight that we would not have received from anyone else. I have a stressful full-time job and could not have planned the wedding without Lisa. She kept the entire process running smoothly and ensured all the t's were crossed! I will recommend Divine Wedding Details to every person I know getting married. My biggest regret was waiting to hire Lisa until half-way through the process. We should have hired her on Day 1!!! Lisa and team, thank you so much for all your hard-work - it paid off!!!

I don't think there are enough characters in this feedback box to accurately reflect how much I appreciate what Lisa and Divine Wedding Details did for our wedding. Starting from the first meeting where she really listened to what I wanted and had great suggestions, negotiation on contracts (she is amazing at this, you will ABSOLUTELY save money working with Lisa due to her ability to negotiate), the calls she would take from me to talk me off the ledge that I was ready to pull my hair out due to wedding stress, the execution on the day of the wedding....she was amazing. I have said hundreds of times, this wedding wouldn't have happened without Lisa, I would have given up on my dream because I hate details and hate to plan. She kept reminding me of budget and all of the things I needed to do to move it all along. She worked with the vendors behind the scenes and completely executed our dream wedding just as I wanted it. On the day of, she was indispensable. She even did a wedding the night before, picked up my flowers, drove 5 hours and was ready to go early the next morning and on top of ever detail! I was able to enjoy the day and have fun while she attended to ever detail from start to finish. I'm so thankful to her, there is absolutely no way to thank her enough. You will not regret working with her, she is professional, knowledgable, detail oriented, conscientious, a great negotiator and has great style to execute YOUR vision, not hers. Loved working with her, you will too!

Divine Wedding Designs is the cream of the crop for planning services. Lisa and her team did a wonderful job from start to finish. We tend to procrastinate and she kept everything running smoothly. She was very responsive and knowledgeable about every question we had. We would recommend a wedding planner for your special day, and more importantly we would recommend Lisa Dean. Lisa and Micaela were wonderful to work with. They kept us smiling and laughing through out the entire planning process. I new that I could totally depend on them the carry through on every detail so that I could just enjoy the day! They are like little ducks "calm on the surface but paddling like H___ underneath!" Everything was wonderful! The only suggestion I would have would be to let the bride know that she needs a right-hand person that could help her keep up with all of her stuff ( bags, belongings, makeup, gifts, etc). This person would not necessarily have to be in the wedding, just someone she could count on to help know where things are during the 'chaos'!

Working with Lisa made our wedding (and life for those last few weeks!) so much easier. I had absolutely nothing to worry about from set up to take down. Lisa and her team, dealt with all of my vendors, noticed things I missed, they had tons of supplies on hand I was able to borrow and just the general knowledge of a first time bride/wedding planner like myself lacked. They were worth every penny. I would never plan a wedding without a planner and if you’re in the North Texas area, Lisa is the best!

Lisa and team were simply amazing. I cannot recommend her more highly or be more satisfied with her results. No wonder Lisa teaches wedding planning at a local college; she's a rock star wedding planner!

She has the experience, vision, team and vendor relationships to create a beautiful wedding, even beyond what I dreamed (and within my budget). My crotchety dad was so impressed that he even wrote her a thank you card because he was so impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail.

I have been debating on and on since May about my experience with Mrs. Lisa:) I finally came to the conclusion that I will never have the words to THANK Lisa enough for everything she did for me! I live in Washington,D.C.but my wedding was in Dallas, TX (Frisco, TX) and i only came home TWO times to plan my whole wedding! She was very flexible for me and she had every minute of my day line and plan out when I came home to Dallas.

The day of the Wedding was the cake topper for me!!! I had so much going on the day of my wedding and i was angry for no reason the whole day. She was so nice and kind to me to bring my nerves all the way down. I had a lot of issues with a lot of vendors and she was there every step of the way to assist and fist the issues.

I would recommend Lisa Dean to any and everyone that have any type of even going on. She will support you the whole way through! She is the best in the business. Thank you again Lisa Dean!!!
