We loved our wedding!
We used the 6-month partial planning service with Rock’n’Willow and we are so grateful that we did! We had no experience planning events and Angela and Sylvia walked us through everything piece-by-piece and really made us feel comfortable. They gave us creative ideas and really personalized their recommendations to what we needed. They had previous experience with our venue that was invaluable and were true heroes on the day! We would definitely recommend them to anyone we know! -

Highly recommend!
Angela and her team are amazing! They eased so much of the stress of the wedding planning process (coordinating with vendors in the month leading up to the wedding, rehearsal instructions, set up, clean up etc). She and Silvia are such a pleasant presence and have a great calming energy that is ideal when things get stressful! They made us feel totally confident that they had everything under control because they did. They handled hiccups in the wedding without missing a beat. I am SO glad I chose to work with them. It was worth the cost x10. If you are on the fence about hiring a them, DO IT. You won’t regret it :) -

They Helped Make My Wedding Perfect
Angela and Sylvia were so great. It was such a relief to be able to hand everything over to them and just have them handle it. Day of, we didn't have to do anything but show up and have fun - they took care of everything else. I got their "month of" coordination package. About a month before our wedding they took over all communication with vendors. It was a little hard for me to let go of control, lol, but they did a great job getting all of those little last minute things dealt with. They ran our rehearsal, and knew exactly how everything should work. Day of, they set EVERYTHING up, communicated with all of the vendors as they arrived, kept the entire day running, and cleaned everything up at the end of the night. The décor setup was exactly how I envisioned…and we had a lot of decor. We had a theme for each table and trinkets that went along with each theme. Not to mention a variety of colors of cheesecloth table runners and bud vases and flowers for each table. I pretty much just said “Here are the themes, here is the décor, let me know if you have questions…if it looks good to you, it’ll look good to me.” I was BLOWN AWAY with how amazing everything looked. After the ceremony we did photos with all of the guests in groups of how we knew them (husband’s high school friends, my coworkers, his coworkers, animal training school classmates, etc.). We like this idea a lot better than doing pictures with each table. Tables aren’t always full of people from the same “group” so it made more sense to do it this way. It was chaotic, to say the least. But our coordinators and photographers rolled with it, kept everything moving, and helped make it a success. Now that we have our pictures back, I’m so glad we did it this way. -

Amazing!!!
Angela was an amazing resource throughout planning and took care of everything during my wedding day. She was super excited to coordinate our big day even though it was a destination wedding on a holiday. She fought for us to get exactly what we wanted and handled coordination with the vendors as our day approached. I was able to hand everything to her and enjoy our big day. She set up, tore down and loaded our car with decor and gifts while we visited with family. We had a wind issue and had to move our reception indoors and Angela took care of everything. I had no stress and she made the space work for us. 10/10 will ALWAYS recommend!-

We were in great hands
Angela and Silvia are an incredible team. They were so thoughtful and supportive through the planning process, and helped us have the wedding of our dreams. It felt amazing to go into our wedding day knowing we were in good hands with planners that could handle if things went south. A testament to their great execution of day of coordination- we had no idea of what almost went wrong until long after potential issues were already solved and taken care of. We were able to enjoy our day knowing Rock N Willow had our backs. Thank you! -

You Need To Book Them
Angela and Silvia did their best to ensure my wedding day was stress-free. They also helped me plan 4 months prior to the big day, they provided me with a checklist and checked in on me very often. I couldn't have done it without them! -

Worth Every Dollar!!
From the minute we met Angela and Silvia they were extremely welcoming. They even gave us hugs and made us feel like they were 100% committed to our big day from the get go. They were extremely professional and catered their services to our needs. They had details And ideas that we hadn’t even thought of. Our wedding would have definitely been a wild circus without their coordination. They had everything down to the last minute and made everything unfold so smoothly. We can honestly say that one of the biggest reasons we enjoyed our wedding is because Angela and Silvia did such a great job in handling everything. All we had to do was show up, get married, and party. They kept in contact with all our other vendors and made sure that everyone was in place to do their part for our wedding. They are absolutely the best at what they do!!!!! -

So happy with my experience!
When my now husband & I decided on a courthouse wedding, I reached out to Angela & Silvia with a “bare-bones” idea of what I was envisioning for our wedding celebration. We wanted an intimate ceremony & dinner reception, but still wanted to feel like we fully celebrated with our family & friends. Angela & Silvia more than exceeded what I could have imagined on my own. They are amazing in so many ways! They made helpful suggestions (make-up artists, photographers, & with simple but meaningful details). Our wedding day was wonderful! Angela & Silvia ensured that our timeline was seamless & also ensured that all the details we had discussed were accomplished. I really could continue about how happy we were with all of their support. It truly is a blessing to have them by your side on your wedding day! -

Highly recommended professional, organized, and creative planners
Hiring Rock n' Willow was the best decision we made in order to have stress-free planning and day of wedding experience. Angela and Silvia worked with us to plan our wedding from out of state. They filled in all of the gaps, from scouting out rentals via video to obtaining florals, making our planning easy and on schedule. They communicate reliably and are incredibly sweet. In addition, they are so creative aesthetically and logistically in order to stay in budget and make a dynamic wedding. Rock n' Willow's team on the wedding day made the wedding party feel like nothing went wrong. I'm sure they put out fires, and we never knew. They managed the event like pros and we are eternally grateful to Rock n' Willow for making our wedding unique and perfect. -

Couldn't be happier!
Angela and Silvia were absolutely great to work with. We did 6 month planning, and I couldn't have done it without them. Not only were we planning from out of state, but neither of us had any idea what we were doing. We blended cultures (Jewish and Chinese) and had a lot of elements to juggle and they handled it beautifully, and even when things went unexpectedly awry when a family member bailed on their responsibility, Angela and Silvia were able to make it perfect. Our wedding was unique and gorgeous and I couldn't have asked for better planners. -

You NEED Angela and Silvia for your wedding!
Angela and Silvia are amazing beyond words. They went above and beyond to make sure things were how we wanted for our wedding, and our event could not have run smoother. From our first consult, we knew that they were a GREAT match for me and my husband. They truly made us feel that they weren't selling us a service, which is what ultimately made them stand out from other coordinators.
Both these ladies always had our concerns in mind, and helped us create the fairy tale wedding we had envisioned. They asked questions that we hadn't thought to think of, and helped us get creative with any concerns that we may have had. We truly feel that our wedding would not have been as smooth if we did not have them on our team!! I recommend them as much as I can to anyone who needs it! -

My husband and I were married in Joshua Tree and had the honor of having Rock n' Willow Events as our coordinators. I can’t imagine being a wedding coordinator. Angela and Silvia went above and beyond my expectations. They were there for me the months leading up to our big day, helping me to stay organized and listening patiently as I went thru the emotions of planning a wedding. They had a fun, playful attitude thru it all, which was so helpful. On the day of our wedding (and the day before and after) they were more help than I ever could have imagined. I don’t know how it was behind the scenes, but for my husband and I, and all our guests, everything went perfect. Honestly, it was a thousand times better than I had dreamed of. They kept everything running smoothly and on time. They work professionally and efficiently. They are kind and funny. They were amazing at going with the flow and checking in with us while bringing us food and drinks whenever we needed them. Weddings are a lot to put on and as the bride, you usually only do it once, so no matter whether or not you have prior event planning experience, you never quite know how to go about it until it’s over. Thankfully to Angela and Silvia, they do know. And they do a superb job at it. We have been told over and over by our guests that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. If you have the opportunity to work with Rock n' Willow Events, take it. We recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!! -

Angela & Silvia - Truly Amazing!!
I cannot begin to say enough great things about Angela & Silvia. My husband and I truly feel that we could not have had a wedding without them and all of their talents! They went above and beyond for us. They tended to our every need (even before our big day), answered all of our questions, wrinkled out every kink on the day of, were there to compliment and support us throughout our whole wedding experience... and they do it with a smile. They traveled over 4 hours for our wedding and Angela even went up with me to our venue months before just for the day so we could see a floor plan of the reception area. Talk about going the extra mile!
Their energy is amazing, they will have a sense of humor with you throughout your experience, and they will care about your happiness. I feel so lucky to have found them! SO highly recommend them for your wedding (trust me... you need a day-of coordinator!!).

Angela, Silvia and crew are AMAZING!!!!! Seriously, professional, fun, positive, Organized...AMAZING!!! We interviewed 10 potential day of coordinators for our wedding and with in the first 10 seconds of speaking with Angela we knew this was it. They got our vision, being a non traditional wedding, not wearing a white dress, skeleton decor...They Got Us! Working with them was so easy and fun! I got sick during this time and they were caring and great being my hands when physically I couldn't do everything. And I Loved that they kept the flow of events moving, took care of any issues that arose and were seriously AMAZING from Day 1. Strongly recommend them for your wedding!!!! BEST DAY EVER!!!!!! I cannot thank the duo planners, Silvia and Angela, enough for all the amazing help on everything leading up to our wedding day! We had quite a unique vision for the wedding and we knew they would be the perfect coordinators get it realized! They were quick to identify all the details and top notch in organizing them to meet our vision! It was immensely helpful that they were local to us so any and all of the little errands or meetings were done with ease and convenience! My now husband and I hired Angela and Silvia for our wedding reception. They did a great job, and really helped ease a lot of the anxieties I had about our reception day. They both handled everything like professionals, and I knew we would be in good hands. The care they took during the reception was great as well. Making sure the guests were taken care of, and even brought me food to our table! One of the buttons popped off my dress, and Silvia came to the rescue immediately. They made sure we were well within our timeline even though everything seemed so chaotic! I'm so grateful that we had them there with us through this process, even if it was just to vent about something. We will recommend them to everyone!-

Silvia and Angela are amazing! Silvia did an outstanding job helping to coordinate our wedding reception. When little mishaps came about (florist didn't decorate our wedding cake - they just took off!) Silvia made sure 1) the cake was expertly decorated and 2) the bride - me - didn't worry about anything. I didn't even find out until after everything was fixed and everything was beautiful. She helped the reception move along smoothly from helping gather the wedding party for our grand entrance (we had a larrggee group) and making sure all the details were perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. I highly recommend them for any of your wedding needs! -

Angela and Silvia are GREAT! Honestly, I was on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, but in the end it was the best thing I could have done.
Angela and Silvia took care of all the little details the day of my wedding. My groom and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I was a DIY bride. I handmade lots of things for our reception, and Angela and Silvia made sure my vision was executed. They set up everything for us.
These two ladies kept our reception running smoothly. They made sure we followed our timeline. There were no hiccups. Everything was super organized. When one of our guests didn't get his food, they handled it ASAP. They also talked us through our cake cutting because we were a bit confused.
My only regret is that I didn't hire Angela and Silvia for partial or full planning. I probably could have avoided some stress if I had them with me every step of the way. Also, there are just two very nice ladies! I would have enjoyed spending more time with them!

Ladies and Gentleman! LISTEN UP!
Angela and Silva are AMAZING! They know what they are doing! No joke! I have been to MANY wedding (since I am at that age where everyone seems to be settling down) and you know that weird stage when you don't know whats going to happen next or theres a weird lul... These girls make sure that moment NEVER happens!!! They were on it, with everything! When i had a question about a timeline event placement or advice on how I could get a better bang for my buck at my venue, these girls had the answer!!!
Wanna talk about the money? The cost? Was it worth it? Did I get my money's worth? It was money WELL spent! To say the VERY LEAST! You got two on top of their shit coordinators for the price of 1, maybe even less than 1. I wasnt going to have a day of coordinator, however the ceremony coordination was included with my venue. Once I met there two in person.... I knew I needed them for the setup, ceremony, grand entrance, cake cutting and clean up!
Overall! 10 out of 10!!! -

Very lovely hardworking ladies, that only had 3 months to do a perfect beach wedding for us!! Truly apparciate them and their hard work in making a wedding happen in a short notice!! Helpful and did so much and went shopping to help out to make the vision come to life!! Thank you ladies !! -

We first met Different Events at a wedding expo and they immediately stood out to us. They didn't seem like the average, cookie-cutter wedding planners you would expect and knew they would share our vision to help me pull off a wedding that was unique to me and my now husband. We had a couple of meetings with them prior to the wedding, where Angela and Sylvia had a way about them that made me feel at ease by letting me know when I was on track, but also letting me know when I had overlooked important details. On the day of the wedding they set everything up for us (while I got to relax and drink champagne while getting ready) and our ceremony and reception space ended up looking better than I could have imagined. They coordinated all of our events of the day and made sure everyone was on the same page while also being on top of all the big and small details. Angela and Sylvia were the real MVP's of our wedding and allowed us to enjoy our day to the fullest because we knew they had our best interest at heart and would do what they could to make sure our day was flawless. If you invest in ANYTHING for your big day, make it Different Events. Trust me, you wont regret it! -

The women that work at Different Events were absolutely charming and a life saver. They were very knowledgeable about weddings. I thought that I had covered everything but once meeting with them I could see it needed their expertise. My wedding went off without any difficulty because I had them on my side. would recommend them to all couples getting marrued. They really put ease into the wedding day and I didn't have to worry about anything. -

AMAZING.
Angela & Silvia of Different Events made us feel so at ease through the whole planning process.
They gave us great ideas and good info on our wedding venue and pros and cons of other vendors which was very helpful.
We had several hiccups at the venue, and they were so quick to make sure things were back on track and running smoothly.
Several of the incidents I wasn't even aware of until my husband told me after the night was over!
You can tell they enjoy and love what they do by the amount of pride they put in their work.
I would recommend them for any event planning in a heart beat, and I look forward to working with them in the future for any of my own event planning needs. -

We had a same sex weding, so there were two brides. Imagine all the crazy! I'm so happy different events was referred to us for day of coordination. Silvia and Angela are amazing! I honestly don't know what we would have done without them. They kept us on schedule and took care of everything. On top of being professional they are a pleasure to be around and really make you feel calm and comfortable. Knowing what I know now about being a bride I would also hire different events to take care of planning the wedding. We will definitely refer different events to everyone we know. -

The girls of Different Events were amazing to work with. They were very flexible to work around our crazy schedules.
From our first meeting it was clear that they wanted to help us reach OUR vision of the wedding, not anyone else's. When you have family making suggestions every which way it was nice to work with someone who reminded us that this was our wedding and to really go for the ideas that allowed our wedding to be an extension of our personalities. It was great to bounce ideas off of them, always gave great insight.
The day of the wedding they were on top of every detail even after being up super early to work a bridal expo at our venue. I highly recommend them to work your event. You will be in good hands with Different Events!

My wedding was so beautiful and went so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about anything on the big day which was a big stress relief. I was very against hiring any type of wedding coordinator for my wedding. I pride myself in being able to "do it all" and thought I had the whole wedding planning thing covered. I only had 3 months to plan a 150 person full scale wedding and I work full time and have numerous other commitments. During our pre-marriage counseling, our pastor made me promise to hire a day of coordinator at the very least. He thought I was nuts for trying to do it all on my own, especially for the day of. When I found Different Events at a wedding expo at my venue, I had found my match. My wedding theme was Quirky Shenanigans and they saw and embraced my vision. I hired them for day of coordination but they also helped with several last minute details like spray painting the gumball machine centerpieces gold, getting the gold manzanita trees, finding cupcake ferris wheel and carousel holders, and helping out with the place settings. All of these tasks were more little or big things on my t0-do list that were stressing me out and adding to my anxiety. Having them taken off my plate was an enormous help. The day of, they decorated all of the reception tables, gift tables, cocktail hour tables, made sure all of my little signs were set up in all of the right places, that the ceremony was set up correctly and just all in all made sure everything was smooth. They also saved the day at the rehearsal dinner when our pastor didnt' show due to a broken down car. They saved my sanity through and through and made sure I was a calm, happy, worry free bride on my Best Day Ever. Hiring Different Events was one of the best decision's I made with my wedding and well worth every penny. I could not have done this with out the incredible Angela and Silvia!! xoxo -

I highly recommend hiring Different Events for ANY occasion. These ladies are VERY professional, and worth every penny. I gave them an idea of what I envisioned for my wedding and they ran with it, my wedding day decor was exactly what I wanted. Silvia and Angela are the most reliable, honest and caring coordinators I have ever met. Mind you I had met with 3 wedding coordinators previously, and none of them had as much passion for their job as Different Events. Thank you ladies once again for turning my vision into reality. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything came together. -

As soon as we found our venue, Orcutt Ranch in West Hills, we knew we would need coordinators being that it is a "DIY" venue.
I had received such great feedback from a wedding they did for a family friend so we decided to meet with Angela and Silvia and instantly loved them! Angela and Silvia very much enjoy what they do and we could see that in each meeting and/or phone calls we had with them. The attention to detail and knowledge of the “wedding world” constantly reflected in their work.
Although we hired Angela and Silvia for our day of coordation, Angela would still send me ideas and links to various decor options that would fit the venue and the style we were going for. I was very appreciative of these cute little ideas because it just shows that they are truly with you for your whole wedding, which I needed, and were not just there for the day of the wedding. Our venue was almost entirely outdoors and with the help of Angela and Silvia we were able to prepare for the worst in such a time crunch but as always hoped for the best. My husband and I had full confidence in them taking the lead on the day of the event, even if things had the chance of not going a planned. The night before the wedding we went over the final details and all left the wedding rehearsal with a peace knowing that the day we had been planning for so long would not be stopped by a little rain. The day of the wedding, they were very respectful towards our guests and wedding party. Although our ceremony did not go as planned, being as it rained, to put it lightly. Angela and Silvia made the day go by as easily as they possibly could since we could not control the weather. My husband & I are still amazed on how her team was able to get chairs and various decorations out of the pouring rain and under shelter in such a short amount of time and in a manner where guests were unaware of what was going on. The Ladies had made sure that not only I was taken care of, but our guests as well. -

My Graveyard Wedding
Angela and her team were AMAZING! We got so many details figured out after our first meeting and it was easy sailing after that! She communicated with all my vendors & helped wrangle the heard of cats that was our wedding party. On the day of the wedding I didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. I love the way she set up the decorations! I can’t recommend Angela and her team enough! -
