Smooth and Beautiful Wedding Day/Planning

Dianne has so much experience with events and weddings she took me by the hand and made my dreams come true leading up and day of for my wedding. We did a destination wedding and she traveled up to the venue with me multiple times to perfect and go over things with my husband and I. I could not love her more.

Wedding Day of Coordination

I talked with Diane 3 months before my wedding.
She asked me what needed & what wanted her to do. Within the first day of meeting her & seeing how dedicated she was as to helping me I knew I needed this woman in my life! Diane was right away on it. She gathered all my information from vendors, decorations, dinner and so on that week of meeting. She even asked me things that I didn't even think about for my wedding day! I had a backyard wedding by the way and she made sure to ask about lighting, electricity, bathrooms & parking. Things I forgot to think about! So we worked together on those things. If I didn't know of something Diane was there to give her best advice. The friendliest, kindest, funnest & the most amazing person ever. Remind you she did all of that 3 months before the big day... to say she didn't meet my expectations I'd be lying. Thank you Diane..!

So Nice, I Used Her Twice!

I hired Diane for my own wedding over 2 years ago and was so impressed I hired her again to help plan my step-daughter's wedding. I did not worry about a single thing at my wedding at it was more fabulous than I could have dreamed of. Diane took my ideas and my vision and ran with it. At my step-daughter's wedding, there were a couple little snafus that occurred - no one noticed a thing! Diane handled everything immediately and professionally and the bride didn't even notice. She has great ideas, can keep calm in any situation, and knows what she is doing! I will be hiring her again in the future - highly recommended!

You may not know it yet, but you need Diane!

After taking the advice of many married friends and relatives who said we needed to hire a coordinator, we decided to chat with Diane about her services. From the first phone conversation, I knew we would get along great, she was so fun and personable! Our wedding took place at a Ranch about an hour from town on dirt roads with absolutely no cell service. While I thought this meant things would be simple, it turns out more coordinating and planning was needed. That's where Diane's expertise was so necessary. She understood our vision and knew exactly when we should be getting every detail done. We felt so prepared and relaxed when the weekend actually came because we had planned every detail that Diane suggested. When our weekend arrived, Diane was a hit, we received compliments on her people management skills from all of our guests. She had my cousins stringing lights, aunt's decorating tables, and did so much coordinating behind the scenes all with a smile on her face. I couldn't recommend her services more!

Diane is Amazing

When planning our daughter’s wedding, I wasn’t sure we needed a wedding planner, but thought a Day of Coordinator would be nice to be able to enjoy that day. After speaking with Diane, my daughter and I both realized there were so many things we hadn’t even thought about that we needed to be on top of months ahead of the wedding. Keeping track of all those little details can be overwhelming. We decided to go with a little more than the Day of Coordinator and purchased Diane’s Partial Planning. Diane was fantastic! She had several phone meetings with our daughter and her fiancé throughout the 7 months prior to the wedding. She shared her notes with all of us indicating the follow-up items needed to keep everything on track. Since the wedding was in a remote location, Diane was there for the entire weekend, from Friday’s rehearsal through the late-night Saturday reception. She made sure everything was in place and looked fantastic. She didn’t hesitate to ask for volunteers from stringing lights and setting up tables and chairs to doing the table centerpieces and place settings at the tables. As everyone says, something will go wrong or not as planned. Ours was a trip down the mountain Friday night taking my 88-year-old Mother to the ER. When I returned Saturday morning after a very short night, there was a buzz of activity. Diane was directing everything and told me I could take it easy, relax and spend time with my daughter. She really helped my stress level knowing she knew exactly what needed to be done and what we wanted. Diane had everything under control, the wedding started on time and everything looked beautiful. I highly recommend Diane!

Fantastic event coordinator and Decorator! Very Talented!!

What can I say, Diane was fantastic! At our first meeting with Diane, I knew she was the right person to help coordinate and decorate for my daughter's wedding. She gave great advice on many things that we had not even thought about. We had planned on doing the day of coordinating and decorating ourselves to save money, but quickly found it was overwhelming. Diane was more then reasonable on pricing. I was able to rent some things from her cheaper then the rental places, she gave advice on ways to save costs and which things to prioritize. She decorated the sweetheart table, bridal party tables, cake table....the entire front of The Grove ballroom. Diane create the most beautiful backdrop, many people commented that it looked like something on Pinterest! Diane coordinated the reception with all the vendors and made sure everything ran smoothly. Diane has a fantastic energy and was so positive and calming thru this whole experience! She was a true professional and adjusted when things didn't go quite as planned. Diane IS the best Wedding coordinator and decorator in Idaho!

Nothing but great things to say!

As a nervous person, Diane did everything in her power to make the day go smooth! I didn't have to worry about anything. Her decorating was beautiful and her attention for detail was impeccable! I'd recommend her to anyone!

Wedding Coordinator

Diane is nothing short of incredible! I thought I could do everything for my wedding on my own but once I met Diane I knew I needed her! She knows what she is doing and is extremely good at her job. She will make sure everything you want gets taken care of, and she’ll also take care of things that you didn’t even know you needed. The weeks leading up to our wedding were crazy, and it was so nice to have Diane to go to with any questions I had or help I needed. I don’t even have the words to describe how much she helped on our wedding day, all I can say is the wedding would’ve been much more stressful, hectic, and not what I wanted if she wasn’t there. All of my family and friends told me how amazing Diane was and how nice it was to have such a personable person that we could go to with anything. She is genuine, understanding, and cares about her clients. I would highly recommend Diane!

superb excellency doesn't even come close!

Diane was always quick to respond and maintained a professional and warm demeanor throughout our interactions. Even when we were panicking about something or other, Diane kept calm and was patient as we worked through everything! On the day of the wedding, she was everywhere we needed her, and she and her team helped make the wedding go off without a single hitch!

Amazing to work with

Diane was amazing to work with on our recent destination wedding in Sun Valley, Idaho. She is personable, professional, organized, and has the distinct ability to be "right" and "left" brained at the same time. She helped guide us through the planning process, gave us great ideas, and executed day of flawlessly. Diane is clearly passionate about her events, her clients, and her brand. Delicate Design is the Best

We work with Diane and Delicate Design each year for the JDF Masquerade Ball in Boise, Idaho. Each year I personally am blown away by the amount of beauty and detail given to every bit of the decor in the room--every year it gets more and more beautiful! We hear more comments on the decor and the look and the feel of the room than anything else.
Diane and her team are nothing but absolute professionals and are a dream to work with. They are very organized and have great ideas regarding design, flow of the event and ways to improve each year.
We will most definitely continue working with Delicate Design as long as they will allow us to do so. They are just an amazing team.

Diane Estey from Delicate Designs was the most amazing and organized person I have ever worked with! She went above and beyond to meet my every need and made my wedding day truly special and a day I will never forget. She worked with me for over a YEAR and met with me regularly while also staying within my budget end not pushing to overspend. She was quick to always respond, and put personal touches and gifts into my special day that made everything so beautiful and unique. I would truly use her again and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for a gorgeous eye turning and beautifully executed event planning. You would be crazy to pick anyone else!

Loved working with Diane for our daughters June 16th destination wedding in Sun Valley. Diane was extremely helpful, affordable and willing to help us all along the way. I loved her partnership with the venue coordinator as they seemed to be locked in step together. She was there the whole time and stepped in wherever needed, so much soo that my daughter and I got to enjoy the moment instead of getting involved in the details during the event and dinner.

Diane has timeless taste and a special eye for detail. Although my (then) fiancé and I had a smaller budget, as we were paying for it all mostly ourselves, she was able to take our vision and materialize it without sacrificing anything. She is so friendly and easy to connect with, it felt like wedding planning with a second mother. She always responded to questions and emails I sent (which happened quite a lot). We met up for coffee to discuss details in person often. You could easily tell she cared about making sure I felt happy, undoubtedly satisfied with every decision we made, big or small, right down to the last detail. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch, she had the event running like clockwork and everything seemed perfect. When I walked through the door and down the aisle was the first time I saw the finished product. She made that room look like it was ready for a ball, and I was the princess. I think wedding planners are SERIOUSLY underrated and every bride would be a lot more happy and a lot less stressed if they had someone like Diane in their corner.

We absolutely loved getting to work with Diane! I actually work in event planning myself and I wanted to make sure I didn’t feel like I was working my usual job on my wedding day – Diane exceeded my expectations on this and I never had to worry about or think about a thing.

She is so responsive, calm, organized, and creative. She is incredibly sweet but is also so great at taking charge (a very rare and impressive balance). She thought of details that we hadn’t and was always ahead of the game. More than anything, she listened to us and made our vision come to life.

Our wedding day (and the days leading up to it) was completely stress free – everything went off without a hitch completely thanks to Diane. We highly recommend working with her!!

I love love Diane! We had so much fun working with her. I didn’t even lift a finger on the day. She did almost everything. Kept all my vendors up to date. Which was super nice becuase communication is key. She knew everything about the venue; the do’s and don’ts of the place. Overall she is the best and I would recommend getting her for your wedding.

My daughter's wedding was everything we had hoped for and so much more!! She truest had her dream wedding!! From my first phone call to Diane, to the final details, she helped us create the perfect wedding and reception. Diane's knowledge of local vendors and her relationships with them was invaluable. Diane set out a timeline and we were able to complete the tasks that needed attention each month and before I knew it, the wedding was planned! Diane was AMAZING! Honestly such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I were married in Sun Valley this past summer (July 2016) and Diane was wonderful. She always listened whole-heartedly to what WE wanted. We found that other vendors we spoke with "had a vision" before they even got down to the details on what we were looking for to celebrate as a couple. She was patient and responsive with all of our family, very reasonably priced, and most importantly...she kept her calm and pulled everything off without a hitch. I (as the bride) never felt a minute of stress (she took that all on herself so that I my husband and I could just really enjoy the day). She was methodical, hyper-organized, and we always felt taken care of. I would recommend using Diane for any and all of your wedding planning...That is of course, if you want to just sit back and enjoy YOUR big day:)

In the beginning, my wife and I interviewed a good handful of wedding planners, hoping we'd find one that we at least somewhat clicked with; when we met Diane we felt like instant friends. She was easy to talk freely with, confident but understated, clearly very experienced but not pushy. We actually cancelled our final appointment after meeting with her.
We signed up with Diane's platinum planning package, and I do not feel even a shred of hesitation in saying it was worth every cent.
Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, Diane was fastidious in our meetings and in keeping our planner on track. More than ticking off actual items herself (which she also did her fair share of), Diane laid out a road map for us, identifying and prioritizing items for us as we went. She put us in contact with decor and event rent people and other industry people, built the decor pretty much off of a photo we'd liked on Pinterest, and just generally kept us on track. Nothing over the top, just made sure we were doing what we needed to be doing kind of all-along-the-way and that nothing major was going to fall through the cracks.
By the week of, day before, and day of, though, good gravy. Diane was everywhere. It was awesome. I had no way of fully understanding how overwhelming my wedding day would actually be. I wasn't even able to make it down to the reception site to see if everything was going together as we hoped it would, and Diane had it all under control. Everything was perfect. I am ashamed to lean on this poor, overused wedding trope, but it really did feel like a fairytale because we were able to sink in to the whir and rush of the day and let Diane be the one holding the clipboard and making sure it all unfurled at the proper pace.
So, if you are hesitating about which planner with whom to set up a meeting, just to see if it would be a good fit, I cannot endorse to a high enough degree Diane with Delicate Designs. A Bajillion Stars!

Diane and her team are excetional to work with! For the past two years, I have used Delicate Designs to help with the decorations for the American Heart Association VIP Awards Gala. We all know that throwing a formal event for a non-profit is a nightmare, but Diane has always helped me to pull it off. With a limited budget, she has always been able to help me create a wonderful evening. Thank you SO much Diane and Team!!!

Absolutely amazing people to work with!! Our fundraiser was beautifully set up and there was zero stress on our end! Diane and her team had the event decorated before we even arrived and it was gorgeous! We will most definitely be using her year after year after year!! She is the best!!

Words simply cannot express how wonderful Diane and the staff at Delicate Designs are! I started working with Diane when I coordinated fundraising dinners for a nonprofit. She was reliable and reasonably priced so she was the first person I called when I got engaged. She was transparent, professional and reliable throughout the whole wedding planning process. The day of the wedding Diane and staff went above and beyond to make my day perfect. I truly believe I had the prettiest, most fun wedding in Idaho! I would recommend Delicate Designs to anyone who would like a fun, honest, professional wedding planner who tells you like it is, sticks to your vision and truly cares about their clients! I am so thankful for this team!

The one advice I give upcoming brides is to find a wedding coordinator to ease the stress on the wedding. My second words of advice is to find a wedding coordinator that not only understands you but puts your mind to ease. Diane is one of those coordinators and I couldn't be more thankful to have met her. Her approach and organization was exceptional. Her ability to manage stressful deadlines and decisions helped me stay calm before and during my wedding. Her advice was always well received and she offered great solutions for areas that needed a plan B. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend her to any future bride who wants to plan a delightful wedding with the assistance of a seasoned professional who is personable, respectful, patient, and timely.

I would definitely recommend Delicate Designs! I hired them to do both my decorating and day of coordinating! I worked with Diane, and she did an amazing job! I would HIGHLY recommend Delicate Designs for your wedding planning/coordination needs! They are so wonderful to work with and bring a lot of great ideas to the table. In addition, they are super organized and responsive. I also contracted out my decor work to Delicate Designs, who took care of decorating my ceremony space and my reception as well, which included everything from centerpieces/linens, lighting, etc. They did an AMAZING job and I couldnt' be happier with everything. My wedding day went SO SMOOTHLY, no hiccups (at least if there were they made sure I never knew about it which is what you want as the bride!).

I went back and forth trying to decide if I really needed a coordinator/planner. I thought DIY and Pinterest would be the easiest thing for me and my dream wedding; boy was I wrong!!

I cannot say it enough- I could NOT have done it without Diane!! She set the standard in professionalism and assisted with the most perfect wedding that surpassed all my expectations. With all her years of experience, knowledge and new trends she exceeded creating my perfect dream wedding by helping me months in advance, keeping me on track with deadlines, meeting with me (out of town) at my venue, and brought up many amazing items I hadn't even thought of (and neither has Pinterest, ha ha!!)

Diane was very accommodating to my schedule and has so many great connections with vendors and a wonderful reputation with each, which in turn really helped our special day become that much better.

For any brides wondering if you need a coordinator, the answer is yes!!!! I wouldn't trade a thing for the time I spent with Diane and everything she did for me and my family.

Cannot say enough about Diane of Delicate Designs! Months into planning my daughters wedding, we realized that in order for us to truly enjoy her special day we would need help. From the first day we talked I knew we would be in good hands planning and executing my daughters special day. We were in constant contact by phone or email and her guidance was invaluable! Her professionalism, work ethic, enthusiasm, execution of vision and eye for detail are phenomenal! ( And she's nice, too!). In preparing for my daughter's wedding, I quickly realized that I needed some help in pulling everything together. Since my daughter lived out of state, all the planning and preparations were squarely on my shoulders and I felt overwhelmed. From our first meeting with Diane and Dawn, I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. They stepped in and gave me ideas, assisted with vendors, and brought my daughter's dream to fruition. Everyone at the wedding kept coming up to us and telling us it was the best wedding they have attended. However, the best compliment was from my daughter. She called me on her way out of town for their honeymoon to thank us for her wedding, she said it was everything they had dreamed of and more!
If you are thinking that a wedding planner is too expensive, you would be surprised at how much money they actually save you. They often obtain discounts from vendors and that savings can add up to pay for their services. Besides, it is so nice to be able to enjoy the wedding yourself!

Dawn and Diane are absolutely wonderful! Not only did they come up with the perfect decorations for our special day, but everything went off without a hitch thanks to their careful planning. They helped everyone to remain calm even when there was plenty of nerves. Delicate Designs is the whole package with a very personal touch. I used them for my daughter's high school graduation party. They really took the time to get to know her and centered all of the decorations around the things she likes, we were amazed with what they came up with since we didn't want to use flowers or balloons. Everything turned out so beautifully and the party went off without a hitch, thanks to Delicate Designs. They thought of everything I would need for the party and I was able to just enjoy myself and all of our guests. I will definitely hire them again when the time comes that I will need their help.

It was definitely a crazy time during the planning process of our wedding. We were selling a house, building a house, and planning a wedding all in a seven month period. Dawn and Diane made the planning very easy and fun by continuously checking in and helping out in anyway that they could. On the actual date, even when last minute changes were made, they created an atmosphere that was equally simple as it was beautiful. They both made the experience unforgettable and extremely fun! Diane was awesome! Between us we had one person living in California, and one who couldn't get any time off work to help with the planning. She worked with us to get everything working, helped with decorations, suggested photographers, caterers, DJs, etc. Our wedding was beautiful and went off without any major problems at all. We wanted a coordinator that could take a high level description from us and turn it into an actual plan, and Diane did that beyond our expectations (and under budget!). Thank you Diane for making our wedding such a romantic experience!

Delicate Designs went over and above their promised service. They were there whenever I had a question to put me at ease. From the day I hired them through the months leading up to the event they regularly checked in to see if they could be of assistance and sent info regarding things they ran across or thought of that would fit the theme and needs of the wedding. On the day of, they took over and made everything happen. We got to just sit back and enjoy the day!! Would recommend them to everyong and will never host an event again without their help!!

Delicate Designs decorated and coordinated the Saturday Showcase (Open House) for our venue. They went above and beyond! Their decor is trendy and unique at the same time being timeless. Diane and Dawn are extremely creative, organized and professional...all the while being two very fun ladies! I would be honored to work with them at any time and feel no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to decorate, coordinate and help those planning an event navigate what can be a confusing and complicated task.

What I have found very helpful is their knowledge. The wedding industry isn't as you see it on Bridemaids, Bride Wars or The Wedding Planner. They can help couple's understand what should be expected from vendors and make coordinating between them all stress free for you.

Diane Estey and Dawn Rising were a godsend! I don't know what my husband and I would have done without them during the whole planning process and the day of the wedding! We paid them for the wedding day of service which included a few meetings during the planning process and everything the day of including setup, take down, day of timeline, and everything in between. They were always there when we needed them. I emailed them hundreds of times over the months before the wedding and they always told me to contact them for anything that I might need or have questions about. They provided some of the decorations for our ceremony and reception for a very minimal price and made sure that every aspect of our wedding was pre-planned and well thought out. They did so much for us that we took them out to dinner after the wedding as a thank you. They were very friendly, professional, and organized. I would recommend them to everyone planning a wedding!

Diane Estey is so incredible at what she does. We had her as our day-of coordinator for our outdoor wedding of 200 this summer. I am pretty organized and thought I was on top of most things as a DIY bride, but Diane pointed out so many things I had not thought of. She met with us a few times before the big day to answer questions, offer advice, etc. I could email her whenever I wanted and she was always very responsive. She also let me rent a few decorations from her for a very cheap price, which saved me time on more craft projects. On the day of, she handled so much and made the day run so smoothly! With my family being all from out of town, it was hard to recruit extra help from my family so Diane was really a life saver. I never had to worry about a thing, or what came next during the reception, etc. It was the perfect day and I could not have done it without the help of Delicate Designs. Thank you!

Diane and Dawn were so wonderful to work with. They listened to exactly what I wanted and when I walked into the venue on my wedding day I couldnt believe my eyes. They did such an amazing job with the decor and the execution of everything that our wedding was even more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. My wedding day went off without a hitch (or atleast to my knowledge) because they 100% took charge of everything and made sure ever last detail was taken care of. Savor and enjoy the day with Diane and staff of Delicate design taking care of the details the day of the wedding. Diane is personable, has an infectious level of enthusiasm and wanted you to realize your ideas for the celebration. With my daughter living in Australia this wasn't exactly a cake walk. She made herself available at frequent intervals and helped us create a timeline that was valuable throughout the planning and making it all happen. When we met her attention was solely on our event/wedding and we accomplished a great deal. I always walked away with a sense of accomplishment and that we were moving forward. Diane was very responsive to changes and meeting with the bride and when she arrived on the scene 5 weeks before the wedding.
I would highly endorse using Diane and Delicate Designs for a special event or wedding. She definitely made our day possible.
