  Love Diamonds & Pearls!

  I’m so happy that I chose Diamonds & Pearls! I purchased my ceremony and reception gowns from them. They have in-house alterations, which was so convenient and their seamstress is absolutely amazing. Really everyone who works at Diamonds & Pearls went above and beyond. Their seamstress is amazing and is so knowledgeable and can work magic.

  Fantastic Experience

  I had a fantastic experience trying on wedding dresses at Diamonds & Pearls. Melanie was incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional. All of the anxiety and stress I felt coming in for my first bridal appointment melted away as I tried on the beautiful gowns at her store. Although I ultimately found my perfect dress at another boutique, I want to encourage other brides to visit Diamonds & Pearls. You won't be disappointed! Melanie is a pro and will make you and your guests feel at completely at ease.

  The best bridal shop!!

  Look no further than Diamonds and Pearls Bridal! You will not be disappointed!! This was the first place I went to begin my wedding dress search and I knew from the moment that I met Melanie and her staff that this was the place!! The shop is beautiful with a great selection. Melanie was so helpful and sweet and went above and beyond. I had tried on a few dresses and was pretty certain I found my dress then. However, I wanted to make sure I wasn’t limiting myself, so I tried out one more shop (horrible experience) and went back online to check out a few more. Melanie helped locate one of the dresses I found online and had it sent to the shop for me to try on. I ended up going with the dress she originally helped me pick out and I couldn’t have been happier! I have sent a few others to Diamonds and Pearls Bridal since then and they have all purchased their dresses from there. Thank you, Melanie, for being so amazing and for helping me pick out the perfect dress for my big day!!

I had no idea what type of wedding dress I wanted and I was excited to go to the different shops to see what would be pulled based on the expertise of the bridal specialists. However, I felt overwhelmed and defeated after leaving the first two bridal shops. I even doubted if I would find a dress that I would love and feel confident when wearing.   Stress-free, personalized experience and gorgeous selection!

  Melanie is AMAZING -- so knowledgeable, kind, patient and supportive throughout the process. Every dress she picked out for me to try on was absolutely gorgeous and she has some really unique options in the Diamonds & Pearls collection. Wedding gown shopping is an overwhelming experience -- at least, it was for me! Melanie made it so much easier and brought a sense of calm to the process. I'd recommend Diamonds & Pearls to anyone looking for a personalized, fun and as-stress-free-as-possible experience! Now, while I ultimately didn't end up purchasing my dress from Diamonds & Pearls, the gorgeous Fiona gown was one of the two it came down to for me -- it was an incredibly hard decision and that dress will always hold a place in my heart. Melanie and one of her colleagues knew I was stressed out about the decision, and they were very supportive and patient with me as I mulled it over. I mentioned to Melanie early in the process that I was interested in a wedding cape (alternative to a veil) and was considering ordering one online, but Melanie had one in-shop that she had me try on to give me an idea of the interplay with a dress/train. It was SO gorgeous that it changed my entire approach to my wedding "look," and I decided to buy it before I even made the final decision on my dress! Thank you, Melanie, for helping make this process such a positive experience! :)

  Awesome place!

  This is the best place ever the staff was the most helpful and made the whole experience awesome!!!! I found the dress of my dreams and Melanie was the best!!!! I couldn't have had a better experience!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this to any bride to be!!

  Amazing Experience!

  Melanie is absolutely incredible! Her shop is cute and inviting and she went out of her way to help me have a wonderful experience. As a plus-size bride, I was very worried about dress shopping but she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She had a wonderful selection and I found my dream dress! I really didn't expect to walk out with a dress at first because of my past experiences at other bridal shops, but Melanie was so patient and helped me step out of my comfort zone. With her expert knowledge, she presented me with a gorgeous selection of dresses that hit the nail on the head. I knew I was in good hands in this professional and inviting environment.   Purely Magical

  I had a relatively small budget when shopping for my wedding dress. Somehow Diamonds and Pearls was able to make all my dreams come true! I am still getting compliments on my wedding dress weeks later. Even with the additional cost of alterations, the overall cost for my dress was well under my budget.
  The team at the shop was so kind and helpful also. I felt so comfortable trying on dresses. Definitely the best bridal shopping experience I had the whole time.

  A stunning dress for a plus-size bride!

  My best friend and I went to Diamonds & Pearls to do a joint dress fitting. I was a larger-figured bride and was concerned about the "boutique" title, knowing that I would never be able to try anything on at these sorts of places. I had actually picked a dress form David's that I wasn't totally gung ho for, but thought that I wouldn't get much better. I asked Melanie over email whether trying anything on would be possible and she assured me it was, but I have to admit that I wasn't sure.
  
  From the minute I met Melanie in person, I knew I was going to have a great experience. She was just a joy! I had known what I wanted in a dress and she immediately pulled out the dress, obviously too small. But she encouraged me to put it on anyway, threw a clip in a few places, and I started to cry because I knew it was it. I ended up buying the dress of my dreams thanks to Melanie, a classic satin cathedral train, as well as a cape to replace a veil. My friend and I had such a wonderful time, even if one of us had not gotten a dress!
  
  The woman who does her alterations is also just incredible. She was able to add more lace to cover up parts of the transparent back that exposed too much for my comfort and added a gold and ruby belt to the front of my dress to make it exactly what I wanted.
  
  When I walked down the aisle, I felt nothing less than beautiful. My family just loved the dress. But what really made the experience was Melanie - she was so kind and just all around wonderful. She never made me embarrassed or like I was any less than any other bride who walked into her shop that could fit in the dresses. She was SO communicative and accommodating and deserves for every bride to choose her. I would recommend Diamonds & Pearls a million times over, especially for a plus-size bride who wants to feel worthy of that boutique experience.

  Excellent Service!

  Excellent service! The boutique is a bit hidden, but once inside it is beautiful and spacious. I was the only appointment scheduled at the time and had individualized attention from the owner, Melanie. She had a very pleasant attitude, patient, was very helpful in pulling dresses, and didn't try to convince me to try on any dresses I didn't like or anything out of my budget, unlike other boutiques in the area. She did not push me at all to purchase a dress the day of and I ended up coming back a week later to purchase the first dress I tried on! I couldn't have had a better experience and would encourage any brides in the DMV to make this their first stop!!

  Absolutely wonderful

  I arrived a little late and completely unaware of what dress I wanted. This was my first ever bridal salon and it really set the bar high. The consultant was absolutely wonderful to my family and I and we had the whole place to ourselves!!! I really felt like I was being treated like royalty!! From the surprisingly wide range of different dresses, I was really able to see myself in each style of dress and narrow down my choices. And the dresses were SUPER beautiful and detailed. AND did you know they’ll find a dress you love and bring it to the store for you to try on?!! I think that’s awesome.

  Beautiful Dresses

  I was able to call and make a last minute appointment the same day with Melanie. She is the owner and she is very nice and helpful and really takes her time with you. I loved that I didn't feel rushed at all, and that she took me in on such short notice. Not only that, but there are so many BEAUTIFUL dresses in this store. My mother agreed with the variety of gorgeous dresses they have.. and they are reasonably priced for the amount of detail on some of these. I would recommend this place to any bride looking for her wedding dress! I'm sure she'll find it here :)

She was so incredibly nice and genuine, which is what I missed from previous experiences so I can not be more appreciative for that. I felt like I was trying to find my dress with a gf, she was full of support and guidance, completely recommend her!! Stunning selection of bridal gowns :)

  My experience at Diamond and Pearls was wonderful! The Boutique was beautiful and the individual attention from Melanie made me very special with the focus on me and my upcoming bid day!! Melanie was a sweetheart and provided many different choices to fit your needs. Would highly recommend this boutique.. definitely for the sassy and classy bride to be!!

  Finally found my dress! My dress guardian angel!!

  Melanie’s shop was the most helpful place we went to during our search! I sent her dresses I really wanted to see (Specifically Demetrios- a beautiful and great value designer!) before visiting and she contacted the designer to obtain those specific dresses. This was AMAZING because other boutiques would only do this if I paid a “try on fee” but Melanie did it no problem, no hesitation, no crazy fees!! One of the dresses she had brought in specifically for my appointment ended up being THE dress! I tried on 50+ dresses so this was a god send. And, icing on the cake, the prices were SO reasonable. It was a day of happy tears all around. The alteration prices were also the lowest I’ve seen! DON’T hesitate to contact this shop for your wedding dress needs. “Miracle workers” is an understatement.

  My family and I had THE BEST experience at Diamonds & PearlsI told Aminah I was very discouraged about trying dresses bc after 50 dresses, I felt like I was never going to find THE ONE. She made sure the dresses were perfect, she accessorized me so I could fully visualize everything, she was responsive, she got to know me and my family. It was amazing!

  My visit to diamonds and pearls was amazing! Melanie was so helpful, genuine and kind. She really felt like one of my friends with her honestly on how each dress looked on me. She was also very patient with my indecisiveness and switching up the styles I liked. She also serves you champagne and that’s always a plus. Highly recommend you stop by this boutique, she has the best brands and collections.

Their selection of designer dresses is the perfect amount and there is a dress for every body type, they are within a reasonable price range as well. Not to mention the boutique is gorgeous and Melanie is just the nicest person to work with! They really make you feel special there!
