    The whole package!

    We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect wedding thanks to our incredible wedding coordinator, Stephanie and her team. From the very first meeting, her warmth, professionalism and attention to detail put us at ease. She took time to understand our vision and brought is to life, handling every aspect with grace and expertise. She also provided our gorgeous florals, which was a huge help to not have to shop for another vendor!

    On the big day, Stephanie was a calming presence, seamlessly managing vendors, timelines, and event last-minute hiccups that could have been disastrous. Her creativity and organizational skills made everything feel effortless, allowing us to be fully engaged in the moment.

    We had the pleasure of working with Stephanie as our wedding planner and decorator for our dream wedding, and it was nothing short of magical! Their team demonstrated unparalleled professionalism, creativity, and dedication from the initial consultation till the last moment.

    I am very private and, at times, I have to admit, a bit of a control freak who gets easily overwhelmed. However, Stephanie made me feel so at ease and went above and beyond to make our day smooth and beautiful. She kept me calm and kept things moving smoothly.     Fantastic Coordinator for a Stress Free Wedding Day!

    Stephanie was an absolute delight to work with for our decor and day of coordination. After seeing how she handled my sister's wedding 5 years ago, I knew I wanted to work with her as well. From the beginning she was nothing but helpful. I knew the general vibe and theme of our wedding, but I had no idea about florals or decorations. After our initial conversation, Stephanie suggested details and florals that absolutely nailed what I wanted! I honestly couldn't even tell you if anything went wrong during the wedding, which is a great sign of a fantastic coordinator!

    Detailed and Supportive Planning!

    Diamond Events helped us immensely. Leading up to the wedding they created a detailed schedule for us and ensured our vendors stayed on schedule throughout the wedding day. Our day-of-coordinator, Victoria Smith was amazing and supportive throughout our day. Her warm and friendly personality was so key in making me feel less overwhelmed before the ceremony. She was like a good friend by your side. Everything went so smoothly on the day and it was such a relief to us that we were in such good and professional care. Victoria did everything right and made our day perfect! We would highly recommend Diamond Events and Victoria for your day!

    Experienced, professional, and wonderful to work with

    Our venue recommended Khanh at Diamond Events to coordinate our D.C. wedding. Before the wedding, Khanh asked 100 questions I never even thought to ask to understand every detail of the day. The month of the wedding, she interacted with all of our vendors directly and made us feel perfectly at ease — we knew we were in capable hands. Our logistics were not simple, but Khanh handled everything so gracefully from start to finish. Khanh is experienced, professional, and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend her and the Diamond Events team!

    Beautiful flower pieces!

    I used Diamond Events for my wedding flowers. They use a wedding workbook to find out all the important information about your wedding that they would need to help create beautiful pieces for our wedding day. Stephanie and her team did an outstanding job with all the bouquets, center pieces, and ceremony flowers. I loved working with Stephanie and her team, I would highly recommend her.

    Choose Khanh & Diamond Events for a Worry & Stress-Free Wedding

    My husband and I were supposed to get married in August 2020, but due to COVID-19, we ended up pushing out our wedding date one full year. Planning a wedding is already stressful, but planning in the midst of a global pandemic adds a unique level of stress and complexity to every decision and every detail. That's why it was the best decision we made to go with Diamond Events, and--in particular--Khanh Stenberg--for our lead-up and day-of planning.

    Khanh and Stephanie alleviated our anxiety of forgetting something important or missing deadlines. Khanh not only kept us organized and on-track, but also advocated for us and read all the fine print of agreements and policies, so we weren't missing any details with vendors and the venue.

    Khanh took time to learn and understand who Adam and I are, what our style is, our vision for the day, and what our priorities were for our wedding. This was so crucial, because--when it came down to the big day--Khanh essentially served as our proxy for everything. Because she took time to get to know us personally and knew ALL the details of every aspect of the wedding, we knew we could trust her to make decisions on our behalf, which in turn made our day completely worry & stress-free. She also appreciated our sense of humor and brought a sense of calm and levity--things that are needed when planning a wedding. :)

    Because of our confidence in Khanh and our wonderful vendors, Adam and I were able to be completely present, visit with our friends & family, and simply enjoy our day. She executed flawlessly and served as the uber-organized, assertive project manager every couple deserves leading up to and on their wedding day. Khanh was like an orchestra conductor, conducting a beautiful symphony made up of the best vendors we could have asked for, and the end result was EVEN BETTER than we had imagined.

    We will continue to recommend Diamond Events and Khanh to everyone we know. Thank you to Khanh, Stephanie, and Soophia for helping make our wedding day perfect.

    Amazing Planner - Stephanie Dasch!

    Stephanie was amazing to work with! I hired her to assist me with the day-of-coordination of my wedding on 4/30/21. We ended up rescheduling from September due to COVID and she was nothing but flexible and helpful whenever I had a question. She even helped me with last minute flower bouquets when my plan A fell through. I also forgot to buy batteries for all my centerpieces and she went out to buy them the day of so my decor could be complete and beautiful. She's amazing, extremely easy to work with and dedicated to making your day perfect. She even loaded all of the decor items, gifts and left over desserts into our car at the end of the night so we didn't have to worry about anything other than enjoying our family and friends. I would highly recommend Stephanie and Diamond Events. 11/10! Thank you so much Stephanie!!

    The Best Day-of Coordinator and Florist!

    I worked with Stephanie, owner of Diamond Events, for day-of coordination and floral services. It was so convenient to have the same company be able to handle all the day-of details and the flowers. She was recommended to me by the event planner at my venue, and I'm so glad she was! Stephanie is organized, calm, kind, and professional. She uses a website with a wedding workbook to gather every little detail of the big day so nothing is forgotten. It was very helpful, and I appreciated how organized it was.
    Originally, we were supposed to get married in July, but we had to move our wedding to October because of COVID. Stephanie was patient, kind, and supportive during this process, and she made it so easy to shift everything over to the new date.
    Stephanie and her team did an incredible job with the venue and the flowers. Everything looked absolutely stunning. I loved working with her, and I highly recommend her!

    Adams/Runnels Wedding Middleburg Barn at Fox Chase 08/22/2020

    We used Stephanie Dasch as our planner and florist! The flowers were stunning and absolutely perfect! She was awesome at bringing our plans to life! She has great style and ideas that made our daughter's dreams realized! The day of the wedding she had everything happening and handled all the little bumps in the road that happen last minute. I loved Stephanie's calmness which is super helpful with the stress of having a wedding during a pandemic! I really appreciated that because it was difficult when we had to decrease our guest list to provide safety for the guests. We were extremely happy and everyone is commenting on the beautiful flowers and how beautiful the whole experience was!     Fundamental to our big day!

    Stephanie is simply amazing. She was great at helping us to wrap our heads around all of the various steps that go into a wedding. She was able to help us in deciding we don't need certain services, including ones she offered. Several of our vendors came at the recommendation of Stephanie all of whom we were very impressed by. the flowers and decorations she provided were absolutely lovely, and Stephanie was very impressive in managing everything the day of. simply put our wedding, without Stephanie, would not have been the same. we unequivocally recommend her & diamond events to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator or florist.

    Wedding Was in Great Hands!

    I cannot say enough about Stephanie at Diamond Events. Originally, I had not even thought of hiring a day-of-coordinator, as I didn’t think our wedding would be too complicated. But every other vendor we talked to highly encouraged us to consider hiring one, as that way we avoid the stresses of vendors coming to our changing room, asking “where does this go?” or “the photographer is late!” A point of contact to handle the logistics so we can focus on getting married!

    So, we had phone conversations with three potential day-of-coordinators. The first two, we had reservations with, but with Stephanie, we felt at ease. She spent the first part of the conversation getting to know us before getting into the details and business-side. She was confident with her experience and organized. While she was a little pricier than other coordinators, I felt comfortable trusting her with our wedding.

    We probably met with her two times in person before the wedding, once at our food tasting. Prior to that, we had a wedding workbook to complete on a website account through Basecamp, which had a lot for us to complete, but was helpful for us and for Stephanie to make sure nothing got missed. I was amazed at her professionalism and thoroughness.

    The actual wedding day, it was nice to have her there not only to make sure everything fell into place, but for little things like instructions how to cut our cake, and helping get my veil off before the reception.

    If you’re looking for a day-of-coordinator you can trust to handle the logistics of your wedding, and who is organized and helps to ask the questions you may not even think to ask when it comes to your wedding planning, please consider hiring Stephanie! She was well worth every penny.

    Diamond Events does it all! In a world of 1,000,000 vendors and contracts having one company take care of our day of coordination, floral needs, and decor was priceless!

    Stephanie is extremely talented in all that she does. She helped us organize and execute a very busy day and really brought my floral and decor visions to life. I showed Stephanie 1 flower photo and 1 decor photo and she created exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price!

    She was very easy to contact and truly cared about our event and even went above and beyond to help last minute at the church! She is calm and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed working with her - we highly reccomend Stephanie and Diamond Events!

    We hired Stephanie as our day-of-coordinator and she did a great job! She was recommended to us by our venue The Atrium at Meadowlark Gardens. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding she was very responsive to emails and questions. Closer to the wedding she had a long phone call with me to discuss all the details and she was on top of everything. Stephanie has a very chill and relaxed vibe, which initially slightly concerned me because I wasn't sure if she was really paying attention to everything - but I was completely wrong about this. First of all, she is very organized and knows exactly what needs to happen when. Second of all, a chill and relaxed person is exactly what you want in a wedding coordinator! You certainly don't want someone who is going to make you more anxious. Everything went perfectly and if something went wrong I never heard about it! I would highly recommend Stephanie and her company Diamond Events.

    We used Stephanie and Diamond Events as our florist and were totally blown away! I had previously met with another florist and he didn't seem to quite understand my vision. When I got his quote I was shocked at the disconnect. I didn't think I'd be able to find someone to really capture what I wanted until I found Stephanie! I got everything I wanted, my dream bouquet, beautiful centerpieces, floral hoops, garland table runner, flowers for our cake and I didn't have to sacrifice a thing. When I finally met her on our wedding day we touched base about a couple of things and off she went! I only saw her one more time but when I saw the venue space after it was completed I was totally speechless - all I could do was cry! The flowers were stunning, arranged beautifully and all within our budget. Stephanie was a total dream to work with. I would recommend her and Diamond Events time and time again!

    I had met Stephanie through a few of my friends who had used her for their weddings. For me, there was no other choice when it came to decor and day-of coordination. Stephanie brought our vision to life within our budget and knew exactly what we were looking for before we did. She was extremely flexible and her attention-to-detail is impeccable. The arrangements were absolutely gorgeous, I wish I could have kept my bouquet forever. She helped us narrow down local vendors and provided great insight when we needed it. When it came to the day of the wedding, Stephanie and her team were so on point, I never worried about a single detail. My husband and I are so thankful we had Stephanie every step of the way.

    Stephanie is INCREDIBLE! I was referred to Stephanie after she did the flowers for friends of ours last year. I knew she had done amazing work, so I was VERY excited to get started. Stephanie was super flexible in meeting with me to chat about what I was looking for. Just by showing her a few pictures of the venue and what my ideas were, she had it mapped out! We did a trial as well, which was awesome to get a little taste of how everything would look. Stephanie also was able to provide the chuppah for our ceremony, which was GORGEOUS. I can't even describe the beauty of my cascading bouquet, I loved it so much I had to preserve it!

    If you're looking for amazing work on a budget, Stephanie is your lady! She worked to make my dreams come true, even within my budget. I cannot recommend her more! I still get chills when I think about walking into the reception and ceremony all set up!

    There isn't enough I can say about how wonderful Stephanie is. We booked her highest package for our out-of-state wedding and it was absolutely perfect. She took care of everything from start to finish and made our wedding better than we could have imagined. We didn't always have the easiest vendors to work with, and Stephanie took a lot of the stress off our plates. Plus, her team worked their tail ends off to put the whole weekend together. I know there is no way I could have planned this wedding without Stephanie -- or without losing years off my life. There is no question, we all need a Stephanie in our lives!

    Stephanie is amazing. She had every detail down, was a calming presence at the wedding, and had a flawless eye for design. Not only did she coordinate my wedding, she also stepped in at the last minute to replace my florist. The arrangements and bouquets she did were stunning, and she was very easy-going about incorporating elements or touches that my fiancé and I wanted to supply. She also caught the fact that our caterer's proposed floor plan was not to scale and redesigned it herself so that our tables would actually fit in the venue. (The caterer's design would not have worked.) Guests commented that the whole event was effortlessly elegant - even though it took place in a rustic barn! Thanks to Stephanie and her amazing crew, I didn't have to worry about a thing. If you book with Diamond Events, you will not regret it.

    I was looking for a unique way to decorate my venue for my wedding. After browsing the internet, I found a blog that featured a wedding at my venue that had been handled by Diamond Events. Instead of flowers, Diamond Events had used dozens of floating candles to create a romantic, fairy-tale like atmosphere. I contacted the company and spoke with Stephanie about the blog and explained that I wanted to recreate that look for my own wedding. She was happy to help and flawlessly guided me through the rest of the planning process. In the following months, Stephanie stayed up to date on my wedding Pinterest board and answered any and all questions that I had. She was so flexible with a few final adjustments that I asked in the weeks before the wedding and I felt confident that everything would be taken care of beautifully.

    The day of the wedding proved that I was correct. Stephanie showed up with flowers and candles in hand and made sure that everything was arranged just as I'd requested. She was a wonderful presence before, during, and after the ceremony and reception and put in more than a full day's work in the process. We could not have had such a gorgeous, memorable wedding without her and I highly recommend this company.

    This is the best/most crucial moneys that we spent on our wedding. I do not understand how anyone gets married without Stephanie from Diamond Events. Our day was everything we dreamed it could be and none of it would have been possible without her organization skills in the planning process, her traffic conducting leadership during the set up and her calming encouragement and assurance throughout the whole process. Our wedding was at the Torpedo Factory which is tricky bc everything has to be set up in roughly only an hour. She thought of literally everything and we were able to have a great time at our wedding bc we knew all the important details were being handled. She had an easy, experienced answer to literally every question we were stressed out about during wedding planning, and every single one of the vendors she suggested when we asked for recommendations also did incredible jobs. I truly cannot recommend Diamond Events highly enough! Do yourself a favor and hire her ASAP!

    If there is any wedding expense that I would 100% recommend spending the money on - it would be Stephanie at Diamond Events. Planning my wedding was an absolute breeze because of her! She kept all parties (my fiance and I, my parents, and his parents) happy, informed, and on schedule throughout the five months we took to plan the wedding. She is incredibly professional, and is able to combine your vision for your wedding with practicality and without going over budget.     Stephanie from DE was my lifesaver. She worked with me physically, financially, and most importantly, mentally to make my wedding perfect. She had everything planned to the last detail, and dealt with my flightiness pretty well :) She was great about using my vision, and not pushing her own preferences unless I asked for them. That was really important to me. We had rain come 5 minutes before my outdoor ceremony, and she was able to pull everything off seamlessly to give the guests the best experience while we waited out the rain. I couldn't have asked for more. Even better, she supplied rentals for my linens, and helped me out as a florist for my wildflower theme! She processed and cleaned the wholesale flowers that I ordered through her, making the arrangement process with my bridesmaids much more enjoyable. I loved the range of services she offered!

    As an out-of-town bride, I knew it would be challenging to plan a wedding on my own from several hours away, so I looked into hiring a wedding planner very early on in our engagement. I knew I wanted the help of a planner but wanted to remain extremely involved in every step of the planning process. Diamond Events was able to provide just that. Stephanie and I talked by phone and email regularly and she really helped guide me through the wedding planning process. I showed her our vision for our big day and she helped make it a reality.

    Stephanie and her team have the wedding day down to a science. Everything ran smoothly and I can honestly say I didn't experience a single moment of stress. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I cannot recommend Diamond Events enough!

    Stephanie is SO AWESOME. I hired Stephanie as my day-of planner, but she did so much more than that. I seriously do not know what I would have done without her. She planned out our timeline, was a fabulous source of wisdom on things I had no idea about, like tent accessories (heaters, sides) and organization inside the tent, did our flowers (so gorgeous), let me drop a ton of setup stuff off with her before the wedding, and was an amazing go-between with our very difficult venue, talking them down from a tantrum and saving me thousands of dollars. She also realized that I had booked our photographer for the wrong day, and had the whole situation fixed before I even knew I had messed up. I wouldn't have had a photographer at all if she hadn't been so diligent! On the day of my wedding I was totally relaxed because I knew Stephanie had everything under control, and the setup was gorgeous! Do yourself a favor and hire Stephanie and Diamond Events, she was worth every penny and then some.

    I used Diamond Events for my day of coordination as I had planned most of my wedding myself. Stephanie came in and took over flawlessly, she even had ideas on helping to add more touches to the day and bring everything together. I heard positive feedback on her from both the guests as well as other vendors. She did a fantastic job and it was easy to give over the reins to her!

    We were so happy with how all of our flowers turned out for the wedding. The bouquets were exactly what I wanted and our guests loved the centerpieces. They were great at suggesting ideas that we could use for the ceremony and again for the reception so I felt like I was getting the most for my money. Having the staff onsite for coordination throughout the entire event really helped make sure each detail was taken care of. I have recommended Diamond Events to several of my friends for their own weddings already!

    I would recommend Diamond Events to anyone in need of a wedding or event planner. Stephanie was such a huge help during the planning process and did an incredible job the day of the wedding. Diamond events also managed my flowers for wedding and reception.

    This company knows weddings in and out. During the months preparing for the wedding I got to do lists to help prioritize what I need to be doing 6 months out, 3 months, 6 weeks, etc. They worked hard to understand my vision for the wedding and how to help me execute it. Stephanie worked with me to plan the day of the wedding down to 5 minute increments. She was very thorough, and I felt completely comfortable leaving things in her hands.

    The day of my wedding I was relaxed and able to enjoy my time with family and friends. The reception site was beautiful and everything right on point thanks to Stephane and her team!

    We would have never been able to pull off our dream wedding without Diamond Events. Stephanie and her team helped with coordination of both the ceremony and the reception and everything went so smoothly.     Stephanie was such an amazing person to work with; she was planning her wedding at the same time as coordinating the flowers for mine, and she didn't miss a beat. Her suggestions and flower arrangements were incredible. I saved my bouquet (something I swore I would never do) simply because her arrangement was so beautiful.     Diamond Events is awesome! They provided my table linens and silver charger plates for my Northern Virginia wedding. Stephanie is great and is very responsive, helpful and professional. She answered all my phone calls, voice mails and emails in a timely manor. She made sure I had nothing to worry about. The table linens and silver chargers were delivered to the venue and picked up by Diamond Events. The linens were all ironed perfectly and the silver chargers brought a classy, sophisticated touch to the table settings. Diamond Events is not only professional, but a great value. Diamond Events is one of the few vendor in the Northern VA/DC area with low prices and great value and service. You get more bang for your buck and I would definitely recommend Stephanie and Diamond Events to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

    Stephanie/Diamond Events helped with practically every aspect in our wedding including: planning, floral arrangements and bouquets. She was extremely professional and helped guide us in choosing invitations, creating timelines, design ideas etc. She was always available whenever we had any questions and offered helpful and creative suggestions throughout the planning process.
    Stephanie created the centerpieces for the reception and hand-made all of the bouquets and boutonnieres for the groomsmen that turned out exactly how we wanted. She also helped guide us through the rehearsal, which we had no idea how to time it- with music, etc.
    The day of the wedding Stephanie hand delivered the bouquets and decorated the reception site. We had two of Stephanie’s assistants on hand at the ceremony and later on at the reception site. They were very helpful and professional and put my mind at ease.
    I highly recommend Diamond Events to anyone looking for an event planner that will help in the creative process, ensure things run smoothly and on time!

    Stephanie, the owner/manager of Diamond Events went above and beyond what I expected of a wedding planner. She was there with me every step of the way making recommendations, suggestions or just adding support and tweaking my ideas. If I had any concerns she was there to alleviate them all. Stephanie is extremely professional, she's calm and very knowledgeable. I truly appreciate all she did. She followed my requests to the letter and I never once had to ask about anything. I give her most of the credit for how beautiful and perfect my wedding day was. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a wedding planner. She and her assistants were awesome.

Since I enlisted her, she was available for recommendations on vendors, wedding etiquette, etc., which was so incredibly helpful. On the day of, I was so pleased to have someone there to set everything up, make sure the evening went smoothly and collect everything at the end of the night.     Let’s be honest, I am a type A personality and putting the details of my wedding into the hands of Diamond Events had not always been my plan, but I knew I could relax and not worry about a thing with these girls by my side! From the first time I met with Stephanie, I knew our wedding would be in good hands! I am not sure she knew quite how many details and special touches I had in mind, but my DIY personality was no problem at all for her at all. Each display that I had in mind was done 100% better than I ever imagined.     Stephanie Hughes with Diamond Events helped my daughter with her wedding in Roanoke, Virginia on June 12. Throughout the long period of wedding planning, Stephanie was a valuable resource for vendors as well as practical ideas for the big day. As I live quite a distance from my daughter, I was appreciative that Stephanie was always available to listen to ideas and do some of the legwork that planning a wedding involves!

    I'm not quite sure how we would have gotten through the wedding weekend without Stephanie, from the rehearsal to making sure the gifts made it up to our room after the reception. I know there are probably a multitude of things she did behind the scenes that I am not even aware of, like overseeing the decorations in the ballroom for the reception, but her calm presence and professional, unobtrusive demeanor added so much to our special day.

    I'm not sure how many times I told her "We couldn't have done it without you" during the day, but I meant it every time! Our daughter had so many good ideas for her wedding, and Stephanie helped her make her vision a reality. It was a beautiful day and Stephanie was a big part of making it happen.

    Professional, experienced, capable, and CALM! I wholeheartedly recommend Stephanie as a wonderful resource to anyone planning a wedding or other event.

    I am pretty sure the wedding would have never happened without them! I have been so busy with work this past year that I have barely had time for myself, let alone, time to plan the wedding. Stephanie and her team did an amazing job scheduling our vendor meetings to fit my crazy schedule, finding people within our price range and coordinating arrangements for all of relatives coming in from out of town. Even when I decided I did want to have the favor boxes filled with candy the week before the wedding, they were able to make it happen! The day of the wedding Jaclyn even gave us a ride home after the reception when our limo didn't show (lesson learned... always listen to your wedding planner and not your friend, who knows someone who used.....).     I was a DIY bride, I even wanted to take care of day-of things myself until it got closer and I realized that it would be impossible. Since I got in touch with Stephanie 2 weeks before my wedding, I was nervous I didn't give her much time to catch up to speed, but she exceeded my expectations! She came to my apartment where I showed her all the projects I worked on for the last 10 months and explained exactly how I envisioned each one set up. She assured me that it would be absolutely no problem. She also offered me some great advice and tips that I hadn�t thought of. When she left, I felt relieved that I have found someone I could trust to take care of the details and logistics for my wedding day.

    I think I only saw Stephanie a handful of times throughout the day/night, but I could tell that she had everything under control! Everything was exactly where it needed to be and the whole wedding flowed perfectly. Since we made a lot of things for the wedding ourselves, I was worried that my family would have to stay late and clean everything up, but by the time everyone was leaving, Stephanie already had 95% of the things packed up and ready to be loaded into the cars. There�s no way I could have had a stress-free day without Stephanie! She was very professional, knowledgeable, and able to work with my budget, I highly recommend her and Diamond Events.

    Stephanie was so wonderful to work with. I had been planning our wedding for over a year and the entire process was so pleasing. My Fianc�e and I purchased a planning package and I can�t tell you how much time she saved me. Her knowledge of the vendors, questions to ask, budget suggestions, etc, it definitely exceeded my expectations.     Stephanie of Diamond Events was very helpful in planning for and finding my vendors. The band she found for us was incredible, the cake was out of this world, and flowers were extraordinary. Stephanie was very reliable and easy to work with. She practically brought the vendors to me!! Stephanie was also quick to respond. If I had a question about anything she replied almost immediately. Even when I needed linens for my tables two days before my wedding, she found them!!

    My day turned out perfect! Stephanie and her team did an amazing job of setting up all of the decorations, place cards, favors, place settings, etc... I can't believe how great everything turned out. I received some assistance with my vendors and I am so glad that I did, hiring a wedding planner was the best decision ever! Being able to walk away at the end of the night and not have to worry about a thing is such a relief.

    I hired Stephanie as my Day-of-Wedding Coordinator and she was perfect. She kept everything running smoothly. Around December I decided that while I had planned everything down to a tee – it would all be for naught if I didn’t have someone I could depend on to execute everything. I didn’t want to assign that task to my bridesmaids or hostesses because I wanted them to enjoy the day. That’s why I hired Stephanie. She ensured that all my planning paid off. I emailed her master Excel workbook – which included about 8 worksheets and she worked her magic . She gave me good comments and tips, which I employed and overall she was the best peace of mind. I highly recommend her.

    Stephanie was great! Our daughter's wedding celebration would not have happened without her. She arranged everything for our outdoor wedding, from tents, tables/chairs, outdoor bathrooms, to generators and fans (even umbrellas at the last minute). On the day of the event, Hurricane Hanna decided to pass by, so we had to move the ceremony inside the dinner tent. She handled all this with a calm and confident demeanor (unlike us). There were numerous day-of-event accommodations that she had to manage. These included things like missing napkins to small rivers flowing through the tent. All were taken care of without causing the family and guests any additional anxiety.

    Prior to the event, we discussed and confirmed the many facets of the wedding celebration event, e.g. flowers, invitations, music, photographer, transportation, and lodging, web site, etc. Using a professional attitude, Stephanie ably addressed and adapted these plans to suit our requests.

    We highly recommend Stephanie to help you plan your special occasion event.

    We were SO impressed with Diamond Events! Even though we decided to hire a day-of coordinator last minute (as in just 3 weeks from the wedding), they came through 110%. On the day of our wedding, it stormed (I'm talking a HUGE storm) 30 minutes before the ceremony and they were so flexible - we switched the appetizer hour and the ceremony, and my coordinator and her assistants carried it out completely. They were out there in the rain, bringing in decor, corralling guests, doing everything behind the scenes so I could stay dry and stress-free. Though an hour later than planned, our wedding went without a hitch and was absolutely perfect!

    Awesome Florals and Coordination

    Stephanie did an awesome job handling my daughter's wedding at Sequoia on 10/26. The floral arch she supplied was stunning as well as all the other flowers, decor and attention to details. We were blown away how magnificent the room looked and Stephanie handled everything very professionally.

    We used Diamond Events for their month-of planning for our wedding and Stephanie was very helpful. She offered great suggestions on vendors and ways to keep organized during the planning process. She was able to guide us in making good decisions on how to use our budget more effectively. She was present for meetings with the caterer, reception venue and florist which was a huge help because her experience was indeed needed. Neither my husband or I had ever planned such a big event of this scale and she brought up ideas and questions about the wedding and its process we had never thought about. She was great about keeping us focused and developing our vision for our wedding. Most of all she was great about helping me make decisions when I was overwhelmed with options.

    I don't know what I would've done without Stephanie on the day of the wedding. She was great about getting everything set up beautifully. Everything ended up running very late with our caterer (which was no fault of hers). It pushed all the events at the reception back and Stephanie was able to adjust the timeline to make sure we were going to be able to get everything done. She was behind the scens keeping things moving and she and her assistant were very attentive to make sure Brian and I were comfortable. Our reception venue was very new to holding weddings and it showed, but Stephanie did an amazing job making sure their mistakes didn't effect us or our guests. Everyone had an amazing time and without Stephanie I wouldn't have been able to completely enjoy my wedding. Stephanie helped make our day amazing and was able to deal with all of the behind-the-scenes issues so we could completely enjoy our day stress free!

We were forced to move the reception to an alternate location due to weather (that never happened) and I was heart broken. However, they were able to turn the space into a beautiful ballroom, and now I couldn't imagine it have going any other way. Also I was so impressed and relieved when I met with Samantha 3 days prior to the wedding, she was so attentive and helpful and made me feel like she was willing to do anything that I ask to make the day go just as I envisioned it being. Thank you all so very much for all of your hard work!

    I had a good time working with Stephanie - my wedding turned out beautiful and without any major glitches. I did a lot of the planning on my own but Stephanie offered some great suggestions that I would not have come up with on my own!

    We used Stephanie/Diamond Events for floral and day-of coordination. Pros: She lent us several decor items, which saved us time and money, and they looked great. We received a slight discount for using Diamond Events for two services. Her planning packet was very helpful in getting our last minute details out on paper. The floral arch was really beautiful, and she thoughtfully grabbed a bottle of champagne for us at the end of the night! She worked well with the venue staff and the caterer. Cons: The bouquets and centerpieces were not what we envisioned. They were high quality and pretty, but not what we expected and so we were disappointed. Make sure to ask for a floral trial; we probably should have been in contact more frequently and earlier in the process, but we weren't sure what was typical for day-of coordination. She did not allow enough time for decor set up before the guests arrived. Some items were staged in the wrong place, and she forgot one decor item that she was going to lend to us - she found a less attractive solution in time, but we were disappointed.

    Rude unprofessional without accountability who underdelivers and overcharges

    We had our initial meet & great with Stephanie, as her company was listed as a preferred vendor from our venue, and she came off pleasant and understood our vision; elegant, timeless and simple. We were eager to hire her, and paid the 50% deposit on 2/14, then did not have any responses to several emails and attempts through her communication portal, Basecamp for almost 3 months (next contact was on 5/5). This was a crucial time for us as many vendors were requesting to begin a first take at timelines. This meeting, and every meeting thereafter was beyond unprofessional. We even researched and contacted other wedding coordinators and contemplated cutting our losses and hiring a brand new wedding coordinator. We opted to keep with Stephanie / Diamond events as we would have paid more in the end (jokes on us because Stephanie snuck in additional fees that were never discussed, in our final invoice). When this was addressed in an email post wedding, she replied "If you felt that you did not want me as your planner in July, I would have greatly appreciated knowing that so we could have gone our separate ways (I am going to add this to our guide)."
    She was often late for virtual calls that were scheduled and confirmed. One incident, after I scheduled a meeting based on her availability per her request, she changed the time, without even as much to ask if I was available and then did not even dial into the new agreed upon time and blamed me when I had reached out asking for her to be considerate of everyone's time.
    She provided a line item invoice for linens, florals and other decor after advising that we only needed linens. After reiterating that we were only requesting linens, and for a new invoice, we received one that wasn't itemized and was significantly higher >1k than the previous invoice if only linens were provided. That is where my question of her trustworthiness peaked.
    Her preferred documentation was not user friendly, especially the excel doc, to the point where I created my own document and uploaded it to her portal. I had provided extremely detailed word and excel spreadsheets with each decor item we provided (including photos in Basecamp of each item) and detailed placement, as well as a pdf with the floorplan layout that included the centerpiece placement in detail at each table (the layout was simple, 2 different staggering centerpieces, color-coded - floral bouquet v wreath with 3 vases w candles, and kings table with bridesmaid bouquets). The tables were not set up correctly, nor do I think she even referenced the pdf guest table layout, or her own requested documents based on how the guest table decor turned out. When I saw this before the ceremony, I nicely mentioned that they were not in the correct order and only to be told "well she [her assistant] already put them there, so".
    I created a spreadsheet organized by each guest table with the guests escort card in order clockwise from a specific starting point at the table per her request from our phone call 3 days prior to the wedding. While every guest was placed at their correct table (I put each tables escort cards in an individual bag), each guest was scattered amongst the table. Dates were not seated together and rather randomly placed, our parents were to be facing us during dinner service but ended up having their backs to us. Aside from every guest table of 10-12 guests out of order, we had a 27 person retangular table to account for each wedding party member and their guest. Not a single person was sat with their guest and some were not local nor did they know many of the people sitting with them. This was beyond unacceptable and an unforgettable mistake, one that when addressed the concern post wedding via email was responded to without ownership or without even so much as an apology for inconveniencing every single guest and having me up until 1am the night of rehearsal providing this in order and sent via email. The request was to provide these in order via spreadsheet, and instead she refused to reference the spreadsheet and opted to just place the escort cards wherever.
    As previously mentioned, her final invoice 2 weeks prior the wedding was higher than expected, and without prior notice (in the invoice doesn't constitute for prior notice). As a professional you shouldn't discuss offering arch decor 5 months before an event, and not even a mention of an upcharge, when it's a product that you own. Only referencing that as every other coordinator that we interviewed when contemplating firing Stephanie in July, included any decor they had (and were significantly cheaper). We paid the invoice and didn't make mention, with the expectation that our decor, coordination and set up would be perfect and were severely disappointed.
    Our rehearsal left everyone feeling uneasy, so much that she forgot to include the flower girls and ring bearers in the rehearsal walk. Upon me asking (after my practice walk and seeding my neice, one of the flower girls, being held by her father waiting for his cue) she asked if they would be walking. Sadly, this was all provided in her requested documentation, so it was apparent that she had not even referenced her own documents.
    The day of the wedding, not a single guest was greeted by her as she was no where to be found and instead left the groom and groomsmen had to greet each guest (instead of relaxing before his own wedding).
    During the reception, myself, my entire wedding party and almost each guest saw and commented to us after the fact of Stephanie sitting on the floor, on her phone, twirling her hair along the coat rack corridor, where every guest walks past. This is beyond unprofessional, and unacceptable for hours during the reception. Take a break but not for several hours and where guests frequently walk.
    The second unforgettable mistake, which is by far the biggest, is her inability to execute a recommendation that was her own. When we spoke 3 days prior to the wedding, I mentioned how I wanted a group photo of every guest (to use for our thank you cards) and asked about during the reception. Her recommendation was rather at the conclusion of the ceremony, she would have one of the photographers on a ladder to take an ariel view photo of us with every guest. A recommendation that I absolutely loved and adored!! It was discussed during rehearsal so that the wedding party knew not to walk until after the photo, and concluding the ceremony both the DJ and officiants announced for the guest to turn around as the bride and groom walk past, for a group photo. That photo never took place, we have no photos with all of our guests, and were unable to provide a unique thank you card to our guests.
    This is a day that we will never get back, we will never had all of those people together, ever and a day that we can never redo. In this profession, one should really love their career and listen to their clients and strive to delivery. The entire time, from the moment that we paid our 50% deposit, until post wedding email correspondence, her stance was that she was doing us a favor. We provided every bit of our own decor, down to every welcome/guest/gift table decor, welcome sign and floral, seating chart, memorial table decor, ceremony arch decor, guest table decor, bar decor, wedding cake table and dessert table decor, we provided the floor layout with guest names and table decor, extremely detailed decor list with specific placement of each item and yet she still failed to deliver.
    Not sure what $3,500 should cost for a day of coordinator, but I wouldn't think it would entail not showing or being late to scheduled meetings, leaving final walk thrus early (missing over an hour of detail & decisions), messing up escort card placement, failing to coordinate (and finding alternative solutions if original doesn't work per her excuse via email that there was a language barrier or photographer refused) group photo or taking zero accountability when addressed in person and in email. Her lack of ownership, non-apologetic, unprofessional demeanor is unacceptable.
    Fortunately, our wedding day was still amazing as I married my best friend and was the best day of our lives, because of the loved ones that were there but please do yourself a favor, and save the headache of hiring someone who isn't willing to put in the work the day of the wedding. The wedding coordinator you hire should not add stress to your plate.

    OK HERE IT GOES..... Stephanie is a nice person and this review isnt about bashing someone but I will forever be upset with the way my wedding went.My wedding was on a very popular day 10/10/10. I planned alot my self but there was still alot that need to be done. So I hired Diamond Events. I was reassured over and over that my wedding was going to be wonderful. Well Stephanie had already told me she wouldn't be there but that was fine and handed me off to her helper which I got to know and she seemed to know what she was doing.Well a couple of weeks before the rehearsal they informed me that they would not be there for my rehearsal which was pretty crazy to me since thats what I had paid for and that is part of a wedding planners job.They also said that because my day was on a Sunday it wasn't a normal day to get married! So of course no one knew what to do at the rehearsal we all just had to wing it and hope for the best! Which is what I did not want for my wedding day! Well on my wedding day I was going to let nothing ruin it! I will name off a couple of things that happened.... while I was getting pre pictures done I had guest coming up asking me where do they sit..... I was having to decorate the front were I was getting married before I was able to get dressed.... every time I need something my" wedding planner" was no where to be found and everything was crazy. She was getting stuff done for my reception I do give her that but she did bring helpers and alot of what happened could have been avoided if they would have cared more about my day! In the end I was giving money back but It will always make me so mad because I read and see pictures of other peoples weddings that they did and wonder why mine was on the back burner. I am thankful for my wonderful friends and family... and my photographers who had to do so much to help out they couldnt just concentrate on taking pictures :( I learned alot from that day but in the end I did have a beautiful wedding But it was not with Diamond Events help!
