Deliece and Melissa were absolutely fantastic! They really helpful from the get-go and jumped right in when we were in a time crunch–helping us create the wedding of our dreams! We could not have done it without them! Also when the groom found out his shoes didn't fit just hours before the wedding they were able to run out and bring back the EXACT SAME shoe in the correct size. We highly recommend them and hope to work with them again! Thank you again so much for everything! -

We absolutely loved working with Dahlia Events for our wedding. We went with their Rosebud collection and Deliece was our main point of contact, she was truly a joy and an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She took care of everything we needed, and so much more than we even knew to ask for. Deliece came prepared with spreadsheets, thoughtful questions, and clear guidance that helped us navigate decisions we didn’t even realize we needed to make, but that proved to be essential. Her organization and attention to detail made the entire planning process feel manageable and well-supported. She handled communication with all of our vendors seamlessly and always made us feel completely taken care of, no matter the detail. When a few hiccups came up along the way, she addressed them with such ease, professionalism, and genuine empathy that we never felt stressed or worried. Beyond her incredible competence, Deliece also brought the warmest, most positive energy, our calls were always something we genuinely looked forward to. And on the wedding day itself, nothing was missed (and I truly mean nothing). Everything ran so smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without a single concern. We cannot recommend Dahlia Events highly enough. Working with Deliece was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. -

They helped us to execute our vision above and beyond! Special shout out to Kimberly who was available and considerate to the bride the entire wedding day. Our wedding day exceeded our wildest expectations - with behind-the-scenes coordination from Dhalia. Bonus points for great sense of humor too! Would absolutely recommend them to any couple on their wedding day, especially ones that are hesitant with decision-making! I had not felt that we needed a wedding planner as our venue provided a wedding consultant who was a pleasure to work with and assured me that he and his staff would serve all our needs. My friends insisted that I needed a wedding planner so that I could enjoy the day, so I relented. After interviewing several planners, I chose Dahlia because of their professionalism and the variety of packages that they offered which allowed me to pay for the services that we needed. Melissa was a godsend. She met with us regularly beginning ten weeks prior to the event and made sure that we were organized and attending to all the details. She was incredibly thorough and always quickly responded to any of our questions. Our zoom meetings were productive, helpful, and certainly gave us piece of mind that we were going to be ready for the big weekend. Melissa was excellent at respecting our wishes and ideas and helping us to make them become reality. She is focused and practical. We had a few little glitches that I enlisted Melissa's help in and she always came through. The maid of honor’s dress got wet from sitting in a puddle in the car and when it dried it had a big stain. I called Melissa and she called me back five minutes later with the name of a local dry cleaner who she had contacted and was waiting for us to drop off the dress. They made it look like new and it was ready in plenty of time. On the day before the event, we met the rest of the staff at the rehearsal and knew that we were in great hands. Melissa, Delice and Antonia took care of everything. On the wedding day, everything went according to the schedule that Melissa had carefully planned and communicated to the wedding party and vendors. At the event, the team was everywhere and attended to every detail. I cannot say enough about how happy I am that we had the Dahlia team helping us. I had no idea how many moving parts were involved in a wedding and, thanks to Melissa, Delice, and Antonia, the day was a dream come true. -

Made the wedding planning process so seamless!
I cannot recommend Dhalia Events more! Melissa and Deliece are truly pros. I went into the wedding planning process thinking that I would have everything under control, but they go above and beyond and helped me with details that I wouldn't have even thought of. They made the process so seamless and really planned everything perfectly, so during the wedding, we were able to fully relax and enjoy the night. In addition to Melissa and Deliece's help throughout the entire process, Antonia's help on the day of the wedding was crucial to its success and the whole team really made our wedding absolutely perfect. -

Deliece & Melissa were integral to the success of our beautiful wedding, and life savers in their day-of coordination of the event. I selected a ten week package where my fiancée and I selected our vendors and personalized the event to our tastes, but in the two and a half months leading up to the big day they dove in head first to get a handle on every detail and help us polish off any items on our to do list that we were struggling with.
After hours of meetings to extract information that had been swirling around in my brain for a year, we were provided with a minute by minute timeline of the day, along with an entire decision making workbook that lead us through ceremony choices, first dance planning and a comprehensive item inventory to make sure no detail was left behind. They provided a budgeting workbook that made my little accountant heart flutter, and offered guidance based on years of practical experience working events and seeing how guests congregate and react to specific elements. Once their package kicked in I was able to pass off tasks that were stressing me out and know that they were being handled completely.
Their additional day-of team member, Antonia, shadowed me (the bride) for most of the day and acted like a fairy godmother—handing me an already opened bottle of water or much needed electric fan, provided hair pins out of thin air, tackling my complicated bustle, and generally being warm, pleasant, and comforting in moments of anxiety. She melted into the background when I was on, and offered a protective enclave to sink back into when I needed a minute.
The Dhalia team was flawless in their execution of the plan, and tactful in their handling of complex family relationships and herding of guests. Their pricing was clear and uncomplicated, and they were happy to answer straightforward questions with concise answers and no awkwardness or pressure to spend more than planned.
Alanis Morissette prepared me for the possibility of rain on my wedding day, but Dhalia made sure my vision still came together perfectly! Thank you so much!! -

Melissa and Deliece make a truly amazing planning team! We had a long (2 year) engagement and booked Dhalia Events as our planners roughly 18 months before the actual wedding day, but that didn't stop them from going above and beyond from the start. Not only that, they were always extremely organized, receptive to feedback, and wanted to make sure they understood exactly what we wanted/envisioned for our special day. From helping organize the budget, to corresponding with vendors/venue, to being absolute rockstar day-of coordinators, we couldn't have been happier with our choice to book Dhalia. After I got off the phone with Deliece to learn more about Dhalia Events, I immediately knew they were the one for us. The monthly check-in meetings and all of the research and expertise they provided us were so well-organized and super helpful. Hiring Melissa and Deliece was the best decision we made in planning our wedding, without question. We opted for the rosebud package, which is basically day of coordination plus, and they really took the time to learn every detail of our wedding to make sure they were prepared when the day came. I consider myself to be very organized, but they suggested steps for preparation that I never considered that ended up being absolutely essential for making the day go smoothly. On the day-of they worked INCREDIBLY hard making sure everything went according to plan. They took care of set up, they stayed late and took care of clean up, and they handled every single thing that went wrong. It's difficult to emphasize how much stress they took off my plate between coordinating with vendors, making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, and fixing things as they went wrong. When it turned out the bustle of my dress left too long of a train they broke our safety pins and a sewing kit and fixed it themselves to make sure I would be able to dance without stepping on my dress. When the bus we hired failed to pick up our guests from the hotel to bring them to the ceremony they helped get everyone Ubers and got the Uber rides reimbursed by the bus company so our guests didn't have to pay out of pocket. I can't recommend them highly enough! -

My dream wedding
I cannot rave enough about the Dhalia Team. I had to put together a wedding in less than a year at my parents home for potentially up to 200 people and Dhalia's team was so insanely helpful in making that happen. There was SO MUCH work to be done and they helped through the whole process. They are so detail oriented and the portal they provide is truly a life saver. Melissa and Deliece are so sweet and so accommodating and were there whenever I needed ANYTHING. On the day of the wedding I was also provided with a Bridal Assistant. Antonia was a dream. She was there by my side whenever I needed something even if it was just a water. I highly recommend the Dhalia team whether you are an event big or small. -

The best of the best!
Deliece and Melissa absolutely killed it for our wedding day and we could not be more thankful!!!
We booked them for their day of coordination services and they were able to alleviate a lot of stress leading up to the big day for me, which was key in keeping my sanity for the entire weekend. I am someone who is beyond type A and have a working background in event planning/management and they were such a great crew to work with and thought of details that never even crossed my mind! Having my event planning background, I really questioned if I would need planners because I felt like I had everything under control, but having Deliece and Melissa as part of our special day was a no brainer! Looking back, I wish I would have found them sooner, honestly!
We had many detailed pieces and small items to set out on the day of the wedding plus an end of night exit that took some coordination, and everything went off without a hitch. It was important to my now husband and I that during the time leading up to the day of the event, Deliece and Melissa were very professional and always responsive - even when Deliece had just welcomed her son to their family. They are great to bounce ideas off of as well and lean on for advice and support when the dreaded but inevitable hiccups happen prior to your big day (like me getting the stomach flu 2 days before the wedding and not being able to get into town on time).
During the wedding, when anything was adjusted or if an issue came up, they presented everything to me very calmly and with a solution which I really appreciated because it kept me from getting upset or worried knowing that they had it completely handled and had my back! My dress bustle was destroyed early on after it being accidentally stepped on multiple times while dancing and the ladies were able to save the day and make sure that train wasn’t moving anymore and was secure and I would be able to party the night away.
The best part of all (aside from them being amazing people to work with) was that they knew my schedule inside and out and did not let anything slip through the cracks, which was always something I was worried about before I had planners. All of their materials and plans they create are clear and straightforward and if you choose month of coordination, there are many follow up calls and these ladies work super hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is perfect.
At the end of the night, everything was carefully put away and handled which allowed my new husband and I to be able to go off with our friends and family and continue the celebration at the after party, which were are BEYOND grateful for since there was so much partying happening during the actual wedding.
Overall, our wedding was amazing and Deliece and Melissa deserve so much credit for that! My husband and I are beyond grateful for the whole team and for helping to make our day a fairytale!

I hired Dhalia Events 7 months ahead of my wedding and they did a great job pulling everything together so quickly. The team did not waste any time trying to gain an understanding of my vision for the wedding and quickly pulled together a list of vendors to lock down for my dream wedding. They were very responsive and communicative and super easy to get in touch with for any of my concerns. On top of that, Deliece, Melissa, and Leydi were such a joy to get to know and work with. Balancing graduate school with wedding planning was a tough endeavour but they sure made things easy. On the actual wedding day, the Dhalia team was hands-on from start to finish, from promptly removing the makeup stains I accidentally got on my dress (it all got removed thankfully!) to ensuring all our vendors were accounted for, they covered all big and small details of the wedding to ensure it was a perfect day for me, my now husband, and our loved ones. I had such a great time working with them in fact that I felt a bit sad during our last weekly meeting before the wedding! Lol I highly recommend the Dhalia Team for any New York bride!! -

Acquiring the right event planners for any major function is always important. As a bride who’s by nature detail-oriented, I wanted my wedding day to be as close to everything I had dreamed of and knew the details and the planning were what could make it so. Thus, wedding planners were not just paramount in this task but crucial—especially planners who were able to not only understand my partner and I as a couple but also individually and that’s where Dhalia Events came in. There was no way for me as a medical resident working 80 hours a week to plan our entire wedding alone, along with the fact that my fiancé at the time who lived in Maryland, 4 hours from where I live and work. We live in two different states and the wedding would be in a 3rd state. There are a lot of moving parts that two working professionals just don’t have the time or bandwidth to handle in what we expected to be a 400+ guest South Indian wedding in the US. Deliece and Melisa had as much a fingerprint on our wedding as my partner and I did. I’ll admit I can be a very particular bride, my time is limited, and I need answers in the small windows I have in between work to plan our wedding. Dhalia really answered the call of duty. They provided us an overall timeline to work toward for our big day, all on our very own wedding portal that was meticulously organized and maintained. They provided us major input and suggestions on all the venders we were considering. They were the single point of contact for all our vendors and regularly reminded us of upcoming appointments, whether it was tuxedo rentals, choosing centerpieces, finding and choosing printers for the programs and invitations, scheduling trial runs for makeup and hair, reminding us to make scheduled payments, and following up on the millions of other details. We have been pretty much talking about our wedding non-stop for the past two weeks and so have our parents, siblings, and numerous others family members and friends. There were small glitches on our wedding (as is everyone’s I’m sure) but honestly, Deliece and Melissa smoothed it out and no one even knew! We HIGHLY recommend Dhalia Events for your wedding or any other special occasion! We definitely will look to them for any future event we need.
