The team at Details Darling, specifically Kendra, absolutely CRUSHED my wedding. She was patient, creative, and solution oriented ultimately leading to bringing my exact vision to life. Kendra is someone who I would now call a friend which is the best kind of person to have when planning a wedding! She knows how to command a room which was crucial on wedding day with our 24 person wedding party. There’s truly not enough great things I could say about this company or Kendra - it’s worth every penny spent and was by far our best investment! -

I'm the groom, so I probably experienced the wedding planning the same way most Grooms do which is somewhat on the sidelines with a few notes here and there... As for my (now) wife, I can say unequivocally that she was the brains behind our entire wedding vision and she couldn't have brought it to life without the help of Kendra (our lead planner) and Aubrey (the owner of Details Darling). She works an incredibly demanding job, helps run a small business with her parents, and also helps me from time to time with my business. Having a resource like Kendra & the team at Details for our big day lifted such a weight off our shoulders throughout the wedding planning process. Even better, when we needed answers or creative solutions, Kendra and the team were always available and so quick to respond. I'm sure my wife could go on and on about the support we received since she was in the depths of most of the "Details." I'll finish with the following, if I had a dollar for every time she said, "Thank God we hired a wedding planner!" I could probably cover the cost of our honeymoon! Thanks, Details team! -

Where do I begin?! There's a reason they are called "Details, Darling" because the details are ON POINT. We are still having people compliment the details of our big day. Aubrey was our wedding planner and I truly don't have the words to explain how amazing she was. She brought my vision board to life all while adding extra details, keeping us UNDER budget, not allowing me to stress, and making it the most beautiful and seamless day ever. They really do everything to help make your life easier. If you are debating a wedding planner, I HIGHLY recommend. Truly worth every penny.

Kendra from Details Darling is THE BEST OF THE BEST! You need her!!!
I was the luckiest bride because I got to work with Kendra Salo at Details Darling! I knew I wanted to hire this company as a 3-month planner because I heard such amazing things from other friends and brides. But WOW!!! When I first met Kendra, all my stress and worry went away. At our first meeting on-site at the venue, she had her clipboard and notes and questions and fully took over the meeting which calmed all my nerves and I knew I was in great hands. Not only are her organizational skills through the roof, she is so responsive and quick, and the kindest person ever. Any time there was a situation with vendors, she handled it fully and then told me after the fact so no added stress was put on my plate. The 3 months working with Kendra was amazing. Then we get to wedding weekend… and it was THE BEST!!! She was the first one at the venue on Friday for set up and literally the last one to leave at 10pm to make sure everything was perfect and same thing on Saturday for wedding day. She checked on me throughout the day, gave me positive updates on how things were looking and has such a calming energy about her and I fully trusted it would be great. I also gave Kendra full control over decor for the welcome table, disco balls on the light tent, martin light up sign, etc. and she freaking crushed it!!! Everything was picture perfect. I truly couldn’t have dreamt of a more stunning setup and I owe it all to her. Not one thing went wrong on my wedding weekend and if it did, I didn’t hear about it! Kendra is truly the best of the best and any bride that has the honor of working with her is in the best hands possible!!! Xx -

I had the pleasure of working with Kayla Kamleiter from Details, Darling as my wedding planner and she was an absolute gem! Kayla was not only sweet and kind, but she was also incredibly organized and efficient in her planning approach. She knew just how to push to get things done, and her attention to detail was truly amazing.
From start to finish, Kayla was thorough in her work and ensured that everything was taken care of to perfection. She was always available to answer any questions or concerns that I had, and she made sure that my vision for the wedding was brought to life in the most beautiful way.
Kayla's professionalism and expertise truly made my wedding day a dream come true. I cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work and dedication. Planning a wedding is without question overwhelming and a ton of work. Trying to plan my own wedding without a coordinator and on top of a M-F job, was near impossible. I am SO grateful to have found Kendra when I did in the planning process. Before hiring Kendra I met with several potential coordinators outside of Details Darling, and unfortunately they were snobby and kept pushing for higher minimums than I was comfortable planning around. After my first call with Kendra, it was like a breath of fresh air and I felt SO confident in my decision to move forward with her and her amazing team! Kendra instantly calmed my nerves, provided thorough help earlier than was contracted (I did the 3 month out package) and never said no to helping me! My wedding would have been incomplete without her guidance. Lastly, working with Kendra felt like working with a close friend. Her positive energy and overall demeanor is what you need when planning for something that can be stressful. Kendra made my actual wedding day enjoyable. I was sad to have my wedding behind me, because it meant I wouldn't be communicating with Kendra and my amazing vendors multiple times a day :) Kendra, thank you so much for everything -- especially your attention to detail, it was above and beyond! If I had to do it all over again I would hire you earlier in the process!! I will recommend Kendra and the Details Darling crew to everyone I know. -

Amazing experience!!
We had such and AMAZING experience with Kendra from Details Darling. Just getting around to posting a review, but we got married in December and she made all my dreams come true!! We didn’t use the full wedding planning service as I did most of it myself, we did day of coordination and I highly recommend!! We booked months in advance and then started working with our team 2 months before the wedding and although it may seem like not that much, it was SO helpful. She was always there if we had any questions, provided vendor recommendations, and provided awesome support leading up to our big day. Super sweet, responsive, helpful, and overall amazing! Would definitely recommend to any bride!! -

the most incredible team of women!
We worked with Kendra from Details, Darling and it was the best decision we made during the entire wedding planning process! Kendra was amazing from the very first meeting we had with her and was truly the greatest support system the entire time we worked together. She is so genuine and really does everything in her power to make sure your day will be perfect and just as you imagined!
On our wedding day, there was huge mix up with our dessert vendor and it was a situation that we would have never guessed would happen. If we had known what happened on our wedding day, it would have put so much stress on us as the bride and groom - but Kendra made sure that we did not have to worry about it and took care of everything! When we found out what Kendra did the next day, we were just so appreciative and thankful for her - she is truly the best planner and sweetest person you could have by your side!
So brides, treat yourself and hire Details, Darling + ask for Kendra! It will truly make your wedding day the easiest, most amazing day! 100/10 recommend -

Our unreal desert wedding!
There are not enough words to begin to describe the incredible experience we had working with Aubrey from Details Darling for our desert wedding. We got engaged in 2020, and while the entire world was shut down, I knew we had to book them immediately for our wedding in 2022. Looking back, Aubrey made the entire experience SO fun from start to finish, and made our long lead time filled with excitement. Our wedding design turned out STUNNING, and their incredible relationships with top vendors really went such a long way. Aubrey went above and beyond, and not one detail was spared (all the way down to our very custom elements like our “ring for champagne” experience). She worked so closely with our venue to get exactly what we wanted (which can be no small feat when it comes to venues!) She had our back every step of the way.
I’m still so sad it’s all over, and wish I could re-live our amazing wedding prep period all over again! I know that as we look back on our entire experience from design, to photos, to Aubrey’s incredible design eye, I’ll always remember it as our classic so very “us” weekend. I’m so excited to see all of the other weddings they continue to take on, and will always remember our time so close to my heart! Do not hesitate to book them, I can only wish that everyone can enjoy their engagement and wedding period as much as we did!

Sarah was incredible to work with. I have a background in events and was extremely particular about how I wanted our day to be!! Sarah took my vision and executed it perfectly! She was organized, calm, always available and a total joy to be around! We were able to fully enjoy our day knowing that Sarah had things under control and was on top of everything! I truly can not recommend her and details darling enough. There is nothing more important than the ability to be present during your special day and I am so incredibly grateful that Sarah made that possible for us. We will be thanking her for forever! -

This review is LONG overdue, but well-deserved nonetheless. I worked with Mackenzie of Details, Darling last year and have since helped friends design their weddings. After coordinating with some of their planners, I have to say Mackenzie is the best! Hands down. She's sweet, creative, accommodating, understanding and really pays attention to her clients.
I only had about 8 months to plan a destination wedding including full rehearsal dinner, welcome cocktails, ceremony and reception. Mackenzie was a dream to work with from our very first interaction until our last! She really listened to what I wanted and the vision I had for my wedding, and made it all happen with minimal stress on my end. She handled all of the back and forth with vendors, happily adjusted to any changes I requested with ease and offered so many helpful resources and tips that made the entire process so seamless. Even little things like suggesting that we have food delivered while we're getting ready because that's usually forgotten or to bring pens and cute decor to put on the guestbook table made such a big difference.
At the end of the night on our wedding, my husband and I walked in to our honeymoon suite that was tidied up from all of the craziness during hair and makeup, lights dimmed, florals on the tables, with leftover desserts and an extra helping of our dinner in the fridge which was such a nice touch. It made me cry!
Both my little sister and my sister-in-law have yet to get married, and I will make sure Mackenzie is their planner too! -

We had the great privilege of being able to work with Kenzie and Details Darling throughout our entire wedding planning process. From the moment we met Kenzie, we knew she was the right person to help us bring our dream wedding to life. Kenzie has this incredibly unique demeanor about her - she is calm, caring, and considerate. She has conviction in all the right moments and empathy and a fun flair just when you need it most. When searching for a planner, I thought I wanted someone responsive, organized, and efficient (all things Kenzie is to the core), but what I got was so much more. A wonderful confidant, a trusted companion to help me and my husband navigate (and enjoy) the unknown, and someone who didn't just bring our dream wedding to life but helped us envision, create, and execute on it.
I have a hard time making decisions, but with Kenzie, it was a breeze. We went through a full design process with Kenzie where her guidance on color palettes, table setting mock-ups, signage and more was invaluable; she has an amazing eye to be able to pull ideas together. Kenzie went above and beyond throughout the entire process - she provided great advice during our onsite tours around guest flow and design set-up, helped us work through mock-ups and even spent extra time going in person to track down the perfect napkins for us.
What I also appreciated about Details Darling, is they take the time to really get to know you and your partner - Kenzie spent multiple calls in the early months of planning getting to know our love story and what makes us special. She then was able to incorporate the things that are meaningful to us into our wedding...yes, we had a full designed espresso martini and chocolate croissant wall! Kenzie also brought us incredible options for vendor selections - all of whom were similarly lovely humans and incredible at their respective expertise - we had the best experience with every single vendor we worked with. Kenzie, her team, and all the vendors just truly cared about us and all the details.
We had Kenzie help us with our entire destination wedding - from welcome bags, to the rehearsal dinner design/execution, welcome party design/execution, and then of course the wedding day itself. Kenzie and her team did not miss a beat - every single detail was thought of and handled with grace. Whenever I was around Kenzie throughout the weekend, I felt instantly calm and collected. I wish I could go back in time and do the planning process all over again with Kenzie because it was that much fun. When I think about our wedding and why it was so special, one of the biggest reasons is Kenzie and Details Darling.
If you have the opportunity to work with them, JUMP AT IT! You will be so so happy you did!!

Working with details darling was the wisest choice in our wedding planning process! Regardless of the planning package we had chosen our amazing planner Sarah was all hands on deck from day one. Especially with us planning a destination in Southern California she assisted making the process as stress free as possible, we love that treated us a friend instead of a client. And that shows how personally involved she is in her work. We choose details darling over and over again, and will continue to recommend them to anyone we can! -

Sitting down to write this review, I really don’t know where to begin. How do you put into words how much you appreciate vendors that have truly begun to feel more like friends or family!?
Part 1: Aubrey at Details, Darling:
Aubrey and the team at Details Darling have absolutely blown us away throughout the entire process of working with them. When any bride and groom think about what they want in a planner/coordinator, a few things come to mind: ease of use, having a vision, and a true partnership. Aubrey exceeds every single one of these qualities by a landslide. Simply put, I don’t know how she does it. She has an eye for design unlike anyone or anything I’ve ever seen on HGTV. She is incredibly quick to respond, knows the industry like the back of her hand, and *gets* *things* *done*. She could rule the world without a second of hesitation! Aubrey helped us plan and navigate not one but two weddings, the first of which was just a couple of weeks ago 3/13 at Sunset Cliffs. She planned and designed the whole thing and we couldn’t have asked for more. Aubrey “gets” us like no other. A great example of this is when she incorporated a small anecdote from mine and my husband (!!!)’s first date into an absolutely breathtaking design display with the words “hooked from the start”, complete with books, guitars, and all of the little interests and quirks that make us, well, us. Her ability to execute on a vision is truly unmatched and we are beyond grateful. If you’re reading this review, consider your homework done for the day. Details, Darling is your company, and Aubrey is your gal.
Part 2: Monica at Details, Darling & A Raw Collection Photography:
Monica at A Raw Collection is nothing short of a dream. I mean, a dream. She is the most lovely, pleasant, enthusiastic person to her core, and this permeates throughout every aspect of her work. It’s rare that you meet someone who genuinely loves what they do as much as Monica does. She’s not just capturing photos. She’s capturing moments, and telling YOUR story knowing that it is completely unique to you. From the very first conversation I had with Monica, she was as enthusiastic and full of excitement as my husband (!!!) and I were for our big day. She had us fill out an intake form that asked questions that any average vendor would never think of. She is thoughtful, intentional, and we very simply put could not have asked for more. Having Monica simply *there* on our big day was also such a joy. She spreads her excitement and genuine happiness with every shot she takes, and we couldn’t be more grateful. So excited that we selfishly get round two in November thanks to COVID, because we just can’t get enough of her work! Thank you, Monica, we will be recommending A Raw Collection to anyone and everyone we know for the rest of time!

Wow!!!! The team at Details, Darlings are Angels!!!!! After postponing our wedding last year, I had put a hold on wedding planning and was feeling discouraged in the process after so many changes. 2 months before our big day this year I started to become very overwhelmed and I knew I needed help. That’s when I reached out to Details Darling for services for the last 60 days. Aubrey and Sarah knew exactly what I needed and stepped in. I can’t say enough AMAZING things about my planner Sarah! I could have NEVER done this without her!!!! She took over all of the logistics and timeline coordinating and it was like a brick had been lifted from my chest and I could actually enjoy the planning process because Sarah had it all under control. She was always 5 steps ahead of me in what I needed. When it came to the big day everything was perfect! Sarah executed the entire day without any snags! Even down to the tiniest of details, she had it covered. She also completely understood my aesthetic and went above and beyond. It was like having a wedding best friend that I could text at all times and she would help. I couldn’t have asked for anything better! I’m sad now the planning is over because I had such a great time working with Details!! Every engaged couple needs to work with them!! -

Details Darling, specifically Alessandra, was an indispensable part of ensuring our wedding day was PERFECT. We are long time friends of Aubrey and Kenzie, so we had full trust when they matched us with Ale as our Darling wedding planner!
We knew that we wanted our guests to feel like they were at a big Italian dinner party. Ale expertly listened and understood our somewhat vague vision for the look and feel and came back to us with an absolutely beautiful design board that encapsulated everything we wanted, but couldn’t have vocalized or come up with on our own. She went above and beyond to make sure that the design, rentals and florals reflected the Italian feel we were going for while still blending in with the natural terrain of Central California wine country. Our wedding day was made when we looked out upon all our guests during reception enjoying family style meals as if we were hosting in our own (beautiful Italian vineyard) backyard!
Beyond the design, we were immensely grateful for Ale’s expertise in the days and weeks leading up to our big day. Ale’s attention to detail was crucial: down to the napkin folds at our reception table — a small detail which we initially didn’t care about, until we experienced gale force winds on the day and were instantly thankful for every seemingly small detail Ale knew that we never would have thought of.
When our big day finally arrived, we wanted to make sure that we could be fully present, without needing to care about any of the logistics or planning. Ale ensured that we had all the details in order before our day and she expertly navigated any logistical changes, making sure that we could fully focus on each important moment of the day. When we experienced crazy winds and unexpectedly chilly weather, she negotiated with our venue to flip our outdoor dance floor and reception to an inside location seamlessly. In the time it took for half our guests to get a drink we were all inside, warm, and fully ready to tear up the dance floor (one of the most epic dance floors of all time!)
Alessandra’s design acumen, attention to detail, and on the fly planning expertise supported us and our wedding day more than we thought possible. Small hiccups are inevitable with any wedding but the entire Details Darling team stepped up to ensure we had the best day possible — it’s thanks to Ale + the Darlings that we look back on our wedding day with the biggest smiles, fullest hearts and memories that we will treasure for a lifetime. -
