Amazing Wedding by DBD
Amber, with DBD and her staff made my wedding day beyond amazing. She managed every detail with care, kept communication clear and consistent, and made sure my vision was honored throughout the entire process. Graduation Party
I went to a graduation party planned by Designs by Delissa, and it was such a great experience. Everything was set up perfectly, from the food display to the entrance details and fun games & activities throughout the event. It all came together effortlessly and made the celebration feel special and enjoyable for everyone. Definitely a party done right! -

The perfect wedding!
I recently attended a wedding planned by Designs by Delissa , and I can honestly say the experience was amazing from start to finish. She was incredibly personable and attentive, making sure not only the couple but all of the guests were enjoying themselves. Everything flowed and the atmosphere felt so welcoming and stress-free. You could truly tell how much care and passion she puts into her work. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a planner who is professional, warm, and puts her clients first.

Attended a wedding DBD planned!
The wedding was simply amazing from start to finish. The staff were organized and very friendly. The ceremony and reception had flowers everywhere and it was absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend Designs by Delissa. -

I attended an event planned by DBD, and it was absolutely amazing! Everything was timely, well-organized, and thoughtfully structured from start to finish. The creativity put into the centerpieces really stood out and elevated the entire event. Delissa is extremely detail oriented and made sure everyone involved knew exactly what to do. I very much appreciated the detailed itinerary prior to the beginning of the whole process (rehearsal dinner all the way up to the bride & groom exit). I’ve been to a lot of different weddings and this was by far the most well-put together events I’ve been to! -

Wedding Saver
My Husband and I wanted a small intimate wedding that reflected our union and personalities. My original organizer/decorator dropped out two weeks before the wedding. Designs by Delissa stepped in and took the stress off me and my husband. She helped coordinate the wedding and venue perfectly never before having seen the venue. She made sure the bridal suite had everything I needed and I was comfortable from start to finish. -

Great Team Work
When miscommunication found us 6 weeks out from the wedding with no 'Day of Coordinator' i put out a social plea and Delissa was one of 3 recommendations. I interviewed all 3 the next day, first confirming availability. Delissa was the only one asking what the bride and I wanted for the wedding, realizing we had already finalized all of the plans (I've planned several huge work and personal events, and it was the first summer of COVID, so, my daughter and I had planned and hired all of the vendors, for her Nov wedding). She asked about our concerns, where she and her team could help the most. All the others, started counting numbers and determining the size of the wedding and budget etc. It was an easy decision to go with the team interested in making sure my daughter's wedding came together without glitches and that I would be able to focus on being a MOB. -

Selecting DesignsbyDelissa was one of my better decisions. Seamless and thorough, made it a perfect day

Delissa was just the best! - and indispensable! She made great suggestions before the wedding and helped with vendor selections. On the day before the wedding, I handed everything over to her. I was relaxed and did not have to think about any details during the wedding. She made sure to keep everyone on schedule, and was so sweet about moving people on to the next thing! A pure delight! She even brought left over food to my house, put it in my refrigerator, and locked up while we entertained out-of-town family at a local restaurant! She went above and beyond! Delissa is very knowledgeable and was very professional and meetings. She was hard for the day of the ceremony but picked up three months out. So we basically had found everyone and made most of the phone calls she just had to follow through on everything at the end . I would definitely work with her again though her staff was great. I wish we had started the planning with her from the beginning. -

I had seen Delissa's work at a friend's wedding, and when my turn to walk down the aisle came, I had no doubt about my choice of wedding planner. From the first phone call to the post-wedding follow-up, Delissa was spectacular. She got to know me as a person and not only learned my preferences and personality, but she also understood them. That's HUGE! In so doing, she was able to customize key elements of the wedding, thereby streamlining the process, saving me time, frustration, and keeping the wedding within budget. But all that pales in comparison to her efforts on the wedding day. Just when I was ready to unleash my crazy, I stepped into the venue and saw her creativity and resourcefulness on display. It was better than I ever could have imagined. Throughout the day, from orchestrating hair and makeup to adding her special touches on things I never would've thought of, Delissa delivered. Even during the wedding, she and her team directed the production to perfection. And when it was over and my husband and I had left for the hotel, I heard from my parents how Delissa took control and marshaled her crew to assume the key breakdown/cleanup chores. I am a busy medical professional with an odd work schedule. To have been assigned the additional duties of putting together a wedding such as this would have been overwhelming, plus I wouldn't have had the imagination and creativity to achieve such heights. Delissa made it easy and exceeded all expectations. I can't thank her enough. -

Our vendors loved working with her and went the extra mile for Delissa, as she negotiated the best services and rates for us. She was always available to us (bride and mom) advising on hundreds of details that went "above and beyond" our contracted agreement. She was genuinely passionate about our wedding and personally worked hard to make sure every aspect of the vision was achieved. Delissa was awesome to work with from Day 1. Her personality and knowledge is top notch. My husband and I felt so comfortable and at ease at our first meeting. The subsequent meetings felt like she was family. She always gave great input and advice up until the day of the wedding.
On the day of the wedding as you can imagine was VERY HECTIC but she had everything totally under control. I have guests to this day say that was the best wedding they have been to. Delissa was definitely a great find! It was a GOD thing for sure :) -

They made sure everything flowed and our guests had an extraordinary experience on our special day. You want be disappointed. “Designs by Delissa” is definitely a signature and brand of elegance and excellence. Delissa delivered, on short notice, an elegant and memorable wedding and reception! The venue, Cristi’s (Addison Texas) was amazing and staffed professionally! Deadlines were met, and the quality of her and her staff's work, was superb. Changes requested were carried out promptly, cheerfully and without hesitation. I can honestly say that I was delighted with her organization’s execution of this once in a lifetime event. As a former engineering project manager and supported by family and friends, I thought that I could plan an outstanding wedding. It became clear that I was out of my league. Because there were so many details, plus my normal work schedule, I was overwhelmed. I immediately felt my stress level reduce, because Delissa was so knowledgeable of the subject matter, had numerous inside contacts, and identified areas that we had totally missed. She thought of and took care of everything with excellence. She even negotiated with the venue to save us a few thousand dollars. Delissa came in and literally saved the day! The dress that I ordered on my own was held up in customs and would not arrive in time for the wedding. She took me to the perfect bridal salon, Gowns of Grace in Dallas, where I found my dream wedding dress in less than 30 minutes! The wedding was beautiful, stress free, and fun because of Delissa's touches. I believe that God sent Delissa, so we could have an absolutely wonderful wedding!!! She is AMAZING!!! -

Delissa was very warm and nice at my meeting. I was the Uncle and the escort of the bride. I meet Her at the rehearsal and She came across as involved and caring and also very flexible to the sudden and last minute dilemma. Her team worked had but like anything there is always room for improvement. But overall she meet the demand and got the joy done with a very pretty smile and a spirit of enthusiasm. Delissa and her staff we great on the day of the wedding. We had son difficulty with the planning aspect because Delissa has a limited availability. There were some things that were missed because she wasn't able to attend the vendor meeting with us. -
