Yari made our dream wedding a reality!
Yari has an incredible gift for creating luxury experiences on any budget. She took our vision and made it happen without breaking the bank, using her amazing vendor connections and resourcefulness to deliver something that looked and felt high-end that fit within our budget.
What sets Yari apart is her “get shit done” attitude. She doesn’t just plan - she executes with precision and efficiency. Every step of the process felt effortless because she kept us on track, on budget, and most importantly, calm throughout what could have been a stressful time.
Honestly, there wasn’t one specific moment that went above and beyond because every single interaction with Yari felt above and beyond. Her network of trusted vendors was incredible, and she knew exactly who to call to bring each element of our vision to life.
On our wedding day, everything was flawless. We didn’t notice a single issue because Yari handled everything behind the scenes with such skill and attention to detail. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our celebration.
If we had to do our wedding all over again, Yari would be the first and most important person we’d secure. She’s not just a wedding planner - she’s the reason our dream wedding became reality. Anyone looking for someone who can deliver luxury results while keeping you sane and on budget needs to hire Yari immediately.

Yari was AWESOME! We had her as a month-of-coordinator, and she went above and beyond with everything. Before the event, she was advocating for us with our other vendors and coordinating with a lot of our friends and family who were doing video/photos/taking on wedding day tasks. I had a lot of DIY elements and was worried about how it would all come together, but it looked exactly like I pictured :) She also helped us to execute on some really specific requests/setup asks and managed some awkward interpersonal dynamics on the day-of. I felt so cared for by her before and after our day, like a close friend. I could really fully enjoy the day and focus on having fun & spending time with our guests. 10/10 would recommend Yari to any bride in the area! -

Yariela was an exceptional wedding designer and coordinator. We hired her for a custom package including all wedding design, florals, and 3 month coordination. She met with my husband and I early on to understand our vision and designed such a breaktaking space, going above and beyond our expectations. She is a great communicator and takes the stress off the wedding couple throughout the whole process. I am SO HAPPY we also used her for design and florals as well - our wedding was a dream come true. I would recommend Yari to anyone seeking an extraordinary and professional wedding planner or designer. -

Favorite vendor
Yariela was my favorite (and best) vendor we booked for our wedding. She is very organized and kept us on track with planning and getting details finalized and ready for the event. I constantly felt like she went above and beyond to make sure that our day was great (and it was!). Even when it started raining right before our ceremony, Yariela kept everything in control and got the event back on track. Many of my family members also sang praises for her before and on our wedding day. She kept everything running smoothly and set-up everything up for the reception space beautifully, Ps - also ask about her floral offering - our arch piece she made was beautiful.
All to say - Yariela is amazing!! -

Yari did such a fantastic job with our wedding!! She was so helpful with getting in touch with vendors, creating our day-of schedule, walking us through our rehearsal, and making sure everything we needed for the wedding was at the venue and set up like we wanted it to be. She went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly! Yari's attention to detail, organization, and professionalism is unmatched. Yari is wonderful, and we genuinely enjoyed working with her on a personal level. Would recommend her highly to anyone! -

She completely went above and beyond what we had expected, taking over vendor communication weeks before the event and was so present and helpful the weekend of. Her design eye is amazing and she put together my vision perfectly. Would 100% recommend her to plan your event! Yariela is an EXCELLENT Wedding Planner
We hired Yariela after doing some research on wedding wire and instagram and came across her profile. After an initial phone introduction I knew she fit the mold of an excellent wedding planner that would be willing to go above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. That's what she did! Her attention to detail really impressed me. I provided a vision and she brought it to life. Highly recommend her and her team! -

If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further.
As a project manager, when I started wedding planning, I thought I could handle it all by myself... boy, was I wrong! Fortunately, our venue required that we hire a Wedding Coordinator, and we could not be more grateful that we found Yari / Design Theory Events. Seriously – she is the absolute BEST.
Before the contract was even signed, Yari took the time to get to know us and understand our vision for the wedding. We were greatly impressed by her attention to detail, professionalism, industry-knowledge, and downright passion. We hired her the next day for our September 2020 wedding (or so we thought).
Although we only purchased a Month-Of Coordination package, Yari helped guide us through the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to October 2021. We were so grateful that she was flexible about moving to our new date and honored our original contract.
Throughout the entire planning process, Yari went above and beyond. Her guidance was indispensable, and she answered every question we had in a timely and comprehensive manner. Yari even traveled 2.5 hours to attend our final planning meeting in-person at the venue! In the weeks leading up the wedding, Yari continued to impress. She took over correspondence with every vendor and ensure that everything was on track. Yari even generously offered to picked up and transported our flowers – so we could avoid a delivery fee.
The weekend of the wedding, Yari ensured that every plan and detail was executed flawlessly. She seamlessly orchestrated vendors, venue staff and guests according to our vision. Even when minor issues arose, Yari handled them with grace and poise. Thanks to Yari, we were able to truly be present and enjoy our special day.

We hired Yari as our day of coordinator and I'm so thankful we did. I am a type A planner and struggle to let someone take over but Yari gave me no worries. She and her assistant, Becca, were always prepared and made sure our wedding day was a success! So many of our guests said the flow of the wedding was perfect -- never lulled. I have no doubt this is due in large part to Yari's coordination. Hopefully I'll never need a wedding coordinator again, but if I do, Yari is who I'll call. :) -

She was the first person to greet us upon our first visit to The Pines at Genesee and we both knew right off the bat that she was not only a wonderful Day of Coordinator but a wonderful person as well. Our first meeting she made us feel comfortable and confident that our wedding would be exactly what we were asking for. With her organization and experience, the planning phase of our wedding was much easier to handle with Yariela by our side. She made sure we were taken care of from day one all the way up to our special day. She is enthusiastic and easy to communicate with. Our special day was perfect and better than we could have ever imagined. Yariela kept things transitioning smoothly and the event staff was very welcoming and made sure our guests had a wonderful day. As the bride and groom, having Yariela at the helm, we were able to enjoy our day with no stress We are forever grateful to have had Yariela as our Day of Coordinator and we highly recommend her to any newly engaged couples!
