The Denver Taco Food truck was incredible to work with! They were professional, knowledgeable, kind and attentive to all of our questions throughout the wedding process. Our guests are still raving about the delicious food at our wedding!!! If you’re looking for a local caterer for your wedding, we cannot recommend them enough! And if you’re planning on late night food, make sure to get the tater tot nachos - they were exceptional. -

The food truck you want at your wedding!
Joe and his team (Tiffany in particular) were amazing. We booked in October after a delicious face to face tasting and are so glad we decided to do so. Tiffany and Joe were both super responsive, professional, and patient in answering our many questions throughout the nine months leading up to our wedding. Our guests raved about the delicious tacos and appetizers. Thank you Denver Taco Truck! -

We hired this truck for our rehearsal dinner last minute due to a cancellation of our previous vendor. The staff at Denver Taco Truck made it swift & easy to hire, book, and coordinate for our big day in less than 2 weeks! The tacos were amazing, the churros were phenomenal and the staff made it so easy and went with the flow along with us! Couldn’t recommend more! They’re absolutely amazing!!! -

We worked with Joe who was so nice and accommodating. We had a tasting and knew that we had to have these tacos at our wedding. Our guests got to choose from 6 different tacos and they even got a side of fries! This was a great value and the perfect addition to our wedding day! I would highly recommend! -

We used Pavys food truck for our wedding in 2017. We had 3 sandwiches for our guests to choose from and also appetizers. The food was delicious and a big hit. Joe was professional and responsive with his communication. Our guests loved the novelty of a food truck wedding and loved the food even more!! -

We hired Denver Taco Truck to do our wedding and I could not be more disappointed.
They were supposed to arrive at 2:30 and the Cocktail hour with 3 appetizers was supposed to start at 4:30. Then my husband and I were supposed to have a private dinner at 5 so we could mingle with our guests during the dinner hour that was scheduled for 5:30. We also paid to have churros and ice cream instead of a cake. NOTHING went to plan.
Denver Taco Truck did not arrive until after 4:30 pm. Then the truck did not work. All 3 employees left for over 90 minutes to get a grill. Two of our guests went to the store to go buy chips and snacks for the rest of the wedding because there was no food being served and they still arrived back before the taco truck employees. Finally the taco dinner was prepared around 8 pm (after several of our guests had already left). No churros and ice cream. We are still unsure if more than one of the 3 appetizers we paid for were served (definitely only 1 was served immediately prior to the dinner). VERY DIFFICULT to work with the owner Joe.
This is just a minimal explanation of everything that went wrong with the food. I would not recommend them, and advise others to choose another vendor for the food at your event. If you are contemplating hiring them, I would also advise you to look at the ratings on Yelp and their Facebook page. I wish we had looked at more reviews than just the wedding websites.Denver Taco Truck's reply:
Hello Kristin,
As we have stated numerous times now on numerous platforms, We can not tell you how very sorry we are for food service not going as planned. Just for some perspective from a small business point of view, we did have a truck malfunction. This is not something we would ever want to happen on someone's special day, nor can we predict it to happen, however it did. With that being said, we did everything in our power to get the food out to you and your guests. Most caterers would have just cancelled if they had equipment malfunction, but my team went out of their way to cook for you to try to make it right. They even went out and bought a $700 grill to cook on to try to make this right, which they purchased out of their own pockets. That's more than they make in a week, but they did so without hesitation because it was your wedding day. With your wedding being in the mountains, they had no cell service, and it did take them some time to get back to civilization to find a store that sold grills. With these destination weddings, unfortunately, it makes it extremely difficult to fix or solve any issues under these circumstances. We DID in fact serve all appetizers you had ordered along with your entrees. You received all of your food you had ordered except the dessert, as there was no way to deep fry the churros. We also refunded you for the churros and ice cream not received, as these can not be grilled. We then refunded you an additional percentage as our deepest apology for the late food. There was physically nothing else we could have done to fix this misfortune.
We took full responsibility for the truck malfunction and couldn't have done anything to change or predict it happening. We have more chances of getting in a wreck on the way to the wedding than this happening. We do not wish this on anyone! In my 4000 weddings, this has never happened. It was a freak accident and once again, I can't express how sorry I truly am.
