We had an incredible wedding made easy by Delynn and her team at the hotel. All requests were granted, visions were executed, and all our guests were stunned by how beautiful everything was. Her team executed a private moment for us to get away and enjoy our food then greet everyone and it was perfect. She was always available for contact and made sure what we wanted was available beyond what we even thought to ask for. We will be staying here again and again to celebrate our anniversary. The McCormick suite was a bridal suite DREAM come true and made us all feel so special. Thank you to the Delta team for all their hard work during a weekend full of weddings and fun. -

I can not write enough about how amazing the staff was for our wedding on 6/24/2023. Delynn was attentive from the moment we scheduled an appointment to learn about the wedding services package options and that attentiveness continued through the year long planning process.
Then the weekend of the wedding, my guests and I were blown away by the entire hotel staff. Every person we came into contact with was extremely helpful and upbeat. Our rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Our wedding was ran impeccably, even with an unexpected delay, the entire wedding staff helped get us back on track without letting the couple stress about it.
The food, cake, drinks and decor surpassed our expectations and our guests are still raving about the experience. If the Delta Hotel by Marriott is on your radar as a possible venue, look no further because there team is top notch.
And we adored Kristen and all she did the day of the wedding, she even danced at the reception 😊. -

A hidden gem for Baltimore weddings!!
I just can't believe I haven't heard of more weddings happening at the Cinnamon Tree! I am SO thankful I found the Delta for my reception!! I don't even know where to begin... the planning team I worked with (Kelly +Delynn) is just unbelievably helpful. Delynn accommodated every single thing we asked for. The pricing... just absolutely astonishing how affordable it is. My favorite part is the McCormick suite that the bridesmaids and I got ready in.. a wo story open suite with a kitchenette, fireplace, library, dining table, and couch that 4 guest rooms connect into (a HUGE selling point for us). And the food was DELICIOUS! Not to mention, the service was OUTSTANDING! We had a private breakfast in the Cinnamon Tree Restaurant the next morning and even that was amazing!! Again, I truly cannot say enough good things about having our reception here. If we could go back and pick our vendors again, we would pick the Delta without hesitation!! -

Delynn is the best , Hands down . She goes above and beyond any hotel supervisor/ coordinator I know. Delynn met with me several times and changed anything from the food , wedding date, hotel arrangements/accommodations and more, to make sure everything was special for me on my day. We can not speak highly enough of the Delta Hotel Baltimore Hunt Valley and our wedding coordinator, Kelly. We decided to cancel our original ceremony in May 2021 due to COVID and could not use our original venue for a smaller event. We frantically contacted a number of places until we found this venue. First, Kelly, our wedding coordinator was a DREAM to work with and was super accommodating to our smaller dinner event (40 people) and our guests needs. We had multiple people coming to our dinner who had mobility issues and issues getting up and down out of chairs. Kelly went above and beyond and weeks before the wedding ran around the hotel measuring how high all the different chairs they had available to see if they had ones that worked. There was also a moment at the beginning of the wedding where a guest came up to me to say a particularly type of liquor wasn't available at the bar and before I could even get a word out, Kelly came right up to me and said she had just added it to the bar and we were good to go. She truly went above and beyond for us throughout the whole process, but she really shined the day of. Second, the McCormick Suite! This was the big game changer for us as we needed a new place for the bridesmaids to have their hair done and get ready. The McCormick suit was a beautifully appointed room with four connecting guestrooms so that all my bridesmaids and I could stay together the night before and meet in the middle room to have hair and makeup done in the morning. Third and foremost, the food. The food we had for our dinner was amazing and we got a lot of compliments on it throughout the event. The chef that cooked the meal had actually left the hotel staff a few weeks earlier to take care of his mother and came back just especially for our event! It was a truly magical day and if I could do it over again, I'd book this hotel every. time. -

This venue was perfect for our Indian wedding and reception. The outside front side was perfect for our baraat and the halls coordinated perfectly with our decorator to create a beautiful mandap and reception hall. The food was the highlight of our wedding, we did a lunch and dinner for the wedding and reception and everyone absolutely loved the food. This was one of very few venues that offered Indian food and for that reason, it was perfect for us. Delynn Powelson was a pleasure to work with, she was so gracious under pressure and responded to every email and concern. If looking for an Indian wedding venue, this is a perfect choice. -

Listen, I asked my best friend to marry me in a very economically restrictive time and she said yes. Now that I have proposed, it was time to plan our wedding or find a planner that was reasonably priced. Shauna and I searched high and low for a good planner and wedding venue that would accommodate a good number of our family and friends (socially distanced) to share in our special day. We found planners and venues that were very expensive. For example, if we paid $7,000 at Delta by Marriott – Hunt Valley which included the services of the amazing Kelly Stephenson as our planner then the price at other venues that we checked out would be between $15k and $20k. Delta by Marriott – Hunt Valley we got our monies worth and the accomodations and flexibility that came with working with Kelly and Delta by Marriott – Hunt Valley was amazing. Our entire family stayed in the hotel for the weekend. Our package included our beautiful wedding cake amongst other things. I had thought that after buying engagement ring, a house, and baby on the way, I would not be able to fund our wedding unless we financed it but best believe the payment options made it simple and easy to cover all those expenses without having to think about another financed charge. Thank you Kelly and Delta by Marriott – Hunt Valley for our dream Jamaican wedding in the USA. All of our family and friends enjoyed the ceremony, food, music and other amenities afforded to us. -

The Best to Work With
We had our wedding here on Feb 27, 2021 and had the best time! We worked with Kelly Stevenson who made sure our day was exactly how we wanted it. She took care of the little hiccups that day and any that led up to our event. The bridal suite was amazing and provided plenty of space for us to get ready. The venue was beautiful and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who is considering having their event there! -

The BEST Venue in MD! Hands down!!!!
There aren't enough wonderful things I can say about this venue and the people who work there. From the first time we went to visit the venue and met Sarah Kelley to the days after the wedding when we picked up our things left behind....it was all the most wonderful experience. Our reception was held in the Cinnamon Tree Restaurant and it was gorgeous!!! Before I say anything else...Sarah and the staff went above and beyond in every way!! I arrived to the church for the ceremony and we realized we left my veil in the hotel suite. Superhero Sarah, found someone to drive it to our church in time for our ceremony!! She is a miracle worker!! Sarah made the planning process so fun and easy! She was so helpful with making recommendations when we needed direction and so accommodating to every request we had!! The food was delicious, the drinks were great, the staff was so kind and quick with service! The whole event was better than I ever could've dreamed! Sarah was so helpful, she set up all my decorations exactly the way I asked. She cleaned everything up after the reception so I could continue spending time with our guests. She went above and beyond in every way! I could go on and on about how fantastic this venue was for hours!!! If you don't choose this venue, you're making a big mistake! -

We recently had our wedding reception at the Delta Marriott Baltimore Hunt Valley and it was everything we wanted! Sarah Kelley was the wedding coordinator and she was incredibly professional, helpful, and responsive. She was very flexible and willing to meet with us in the evening to accommodate our work schedules and was always available by phone or email. She was very knowledgeable and had good advice on how to really make things work with our budget and make sure we were getting the best value for what we were paying. She made all of the day-of-wedding tasks/decorations very seamless and was able to achieve exactly what I wanted. She was always very enthusiastic about everything, even when I asked if it would be possible to rent a giant inflatable for our wedding and even manned the inflatable during the cocktail hour!
The hotel itself is beautiful. We looked at several other locations and we liked the layout of this hotel and how the ballroom and event space were in a separate location from the guest rooms. We used the Chesapeake Suite and one of the parlors for the bridal party to get ready and the rooms were spacious and beautiful. Sarah made sure that I was able to have my bridesmaids in the room adjoining the Chesapeake Suite so that we'd have more space to get ready. We also had a breakfast for our guests the next morning, which was nice and laid back and it was a great way for us to be able to see all of our out of town guests before they traveled back home.
All in all, for a bride who always hated the idea of planning a wedding, I couldn't be happier with our decision and highly recommend this venue! -

They were able to accommodate everything that we needed do a very large event! Sarah was the absolute best! Her enthusiasm and professionalism was completely amazing! This location provided customized services at reasonable pricing all with a smile. The food was unparalleled! There are so many amazing details concerning Sarah and the team of the Delta Marriott Hunt Valley Staff, but i will sum it up by saying my day was spectacular due to the hard work of this amazing team. I would highly recommend this venue and look forward to holding upcoming event at this location!

Shelby Sent on 09/21/2011We are very lucky to have gotten to work with Delynn Powelson at the Hunt valley Marriott. She was probably the most accommodating vendor and she was so easy to work with. She answered every question we had (which was a lot) in a timely manner, with an explanation to help us better our event. The food was absolutely fantastic and cooked to perfection thanks to head chef, Richard Millman. The venue itself was clean and ready for us when we came to set up and drop off things for the wedding prior to the date. We absolutely have not one negative thing to say about the Hunt Valley Marriott, and Delynn Powelson herself. Her positive attitude, knowledge about the venue and weddings in general, as well as her overall assistance to help us create our dream wedding was much appreciated. We are looking forward to hopefully having another party there in the future and working with Delynn and her staff again. If we had to do it again, I definitely would not change a thing at the HVM.

Great to work with and amazing value!
Sarah, Delynn, Will, Patrick, and the rest of the Delta Marriott Team went above and beyond to ensure that our special day ran smoothly. Patrick and his culinary team accommodated multiple dietary restrictions for a large number of our guests. Sarah made sure that we got what we wanted for our events (and then some) and stayed within our budget. She answered all of our questions and ensured things were set/finalized before the event started ensuring a seamless transition between coordinators since she was unable to be attend our events. The McCormick Suite was absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to get ready, take pictures, and celebrate with the bridal and wedding party. Our event couldn't have run as smoothly without the Delta Marriott Team. Thank you for everything! -

My husband Mark and I got married at the Mansion at Valley Country Club on May 18th. We, along with many of our guests, stayed at Delta Hotels Baltimore Hunt Valley following our reception. Everything was great from the moment that we arrived that morning until we left the following day! The parlor suites provide an excellent space for getting ready with your bridesmaids, and the Polo Lounge & Bar is perfect for a late night after-party. We even ate brunch with some family and friends at the Cinnamon Tree Restaurant the next morning. The entire process of working with Sarah Kelley (Wedding and Social Event Manager) was relatively seamless and easy. She is quick to respond with her email! We highly recommend for your wedding day!!! -

Elizabeth Sent on 05/11/2012Our wedding was perfect. The day we walked into the Hunt Valley Marriott we knew it would be the perfect place for our big day. The best parts about the hotel are: a ton of beautiful guest rooms, free parking, free wi-fi and tons of resturants and shops walking distance from the hotel in the hunt valley shopping center, swimming pool, gym and in house bar and resturant.
Our original wedding coordinator left the company about halfway into our wedding planning. A new coordinator picked up right where she left off and everything was flawless. We had our ceremony and reception in the maryland ballroom, we also held a sunday brunch in the garden room. The staff and all servers were very professional and helpful. The only last minute thing we had to run out and get was an aisle runner as the hotel did not have one, and I hadn't thought of this before hand.
Our ceremony and reception was setup so perfectly and the room was a great size for the group we had(about 190), the dance floor was also plenty big. We had stations for our meal and every single guest has told us how delicious the meal was. Most of our guests were from out of town and stayed over night at the hotel and a lot of the local guests also choose to spend the night, the rates are very resonable. the hotel and staff were very accomodating to anything we needed to do. They also handed out our guest check in bags without any problem. We would recommend the Hunt Valley Marriott to anyone who wants to have an amazing wedding -

Pam Sent on 11/17/2017Sarah was so helpful organizing our wedding room block, shuttle for the groom to get to the ceremony 2 miles away, and after party at the bar. We were going through this process as this hotel was shifting from previous management to being a Marriott hotel. There was some confusion due to this, but Sarah kept in communication and worked out all of the details and resolved all issues for us. The shuttle was right on time to take the guys to the ceremony site, and our room was amazing! We really enjoyed living the life of luxury in the suite the night before and night of our wedding.
Our guests also enjoyed their stay and loved the equestrian themed decor. We had a fantastic time at the bar for the after party. Everything worked out smoothly, in no small part thanks to Sarah's help. We also enjoyed the room service and brunch buffet at the hotel!
Thank you again Sarah for everything, I am happy to recommend Delta Hotel Hunt Valley to friends and family if they need a nice place to stay in Baltimore County or a hotel for their wedding. -

I loved the wedding, the hotel was gorgeous and the reception went through with no issues. The planning I felt like I was dismissed and my concerns were not important. which raised our anxiety. For example, we discussed multiple times through email and in our one meeting before the wedding that we were to use the candles the hotel provides as center pieces but add a floral wreath around it to incorporate our colors but the hotel coordinator called my mother (in the limo on the way to the church) asking where the floral wreaths are to go that we had given to the coordinator the week before. There were also detailed instructions on the organizing totes that I provided with all the reception decorations. Yes I am very much Type A and organized all the time! There is a communication issue where we were to have the room for us (bride & groom) was to be free and upgraded but on that night we had to put a credit card on hold and got charged the full price of a king room and placed in a standard king room with no upgrade. It took over 3 weeks for the hold on the credit card to be released off the credit card. Also, I had to send multiple emails before I would get a response and was not given a phone number to the coordinator until the week of the wedding. I hired my own day of coordinator as well, So so so so glad I did, she made any anxiety I had disappear which allowed me and my bridesmaids/mother to relax and enjoy the day. Our own day of coordinator was there to help smooth the day over though double checking all my instructions sent to the hotel and gather the bridal party together as the hotel had just put us in a room (which had drinks, alcohol, and appetizers which were fantastic btw) but with very little support to the members of the bridal party. The food was fantastic :) and the open bar had many choice, except as the bride I requested an addition to the wine list as I prefer moscato which was not on the original list. A bottle of moscato was in the room the bridal party was in before being introduced but once I got to the ballroom the bartenders had no moscato for me to drink, very frustrating! Another issue the one bartender said they only had the one bottle for me and I was the only one to order it which meant I had to go get my own drinks all night! I had a few friends offer to get me some more wine throughout the night but the bartenders would not serve it to them, I had to be the one to receive. I would have hoped as the bride that the hotel team members would have listened to my request to add moscato to the list for everyone to enjoy and to allow my friends to get it for me as none of the wait staff offered either! The reception was a lot of fun thanks to our DJ (DJ Korey w/ a K) who directed the entire night and our own day of coordinator (who sadly has retired from this position) who made our day so great!
