Cat was amazing to work with. Cat was super easygoing, professional, and made the whole day feel effortless. She captured all the big moments plus so many candid, in-between ones that we didn’t even realize were happening — and those ended up being some of our favorites.
The photos are absolutely beautiful and feel so natural and true to the day. On top of that, Cat brought such a calm, positive vibe that made everyone comfortable in front of the camera. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and would 100% recommend Cat to anyone looking for an awesome wedding photographer. -

Just kidding… kinda.
Cat is absolutely incredible as a professional and as a person. She has the rare ability to capture all of the special moments of your day effortlessly, and man she is SPEEDY about it too! I never felt like our wedding day or rehearsal dinner were taken open by hours of photos (which gets exhausting for anyone). Instead, I was shocked at how many incredible pictures she got in such a small amount of time! Cat’s also a perfect wedding guest to have in general—lots of goofing around and dancing 🕺🏻 I would recommend her to anyone and everyone that wants a quality, beautiful, and FUN photography session. Hiring Cat (along with our wonderful planner and videographer) was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding, and we’re so happy we get to look back on such stunning photos for years to come. :) -

Hire them immediately
Booking Cat and her team as our wedding photographers was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made by far. I chose Cat because I loved her photography and editing style, but as we began to work with her, we also loved how organized, fun to be around, and instrumental in planning our wedding she was. Cat helped us build our timeline and even took it upon herself to reach out to our venue, hair, and makeup vendors to build our wedding day photography timeline.
My husband and I feel so lucky that we were able to experience working with Cat, Danielle, and Ashley, so we definitely know how amazing and awesome the whole team is. Our engagement shoot with Cat was so much fun and she made us feel so comfortable in front of her camera.
For our wedding, we were so lucky to have Danielle as our lead photographer and Ashley there assisting. Danielle and Ashley are so much fun, were a joy to be around, made everyone laugh, and made us all feel so comfortable. The two of them are seriously a dynamic duo! At the reception, every time I looked up, Danielle was right in my eyeline seeing if my husband or I needed anything. She definitely never missed a moment, and was always there somewhere capturing everything.
What I love about their photography is how much it looks like us. We have so many photos of my husband and I just laughing together, being ourselves, and enjoying the day with our people. You can truly feel the happiness through the photos and that’s something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We literally ordered a digital picture frame because how are we supposed to choose only a few photos from our day to have in our home?? It was truly such a joy to work with Cat, Danielle, and Ashley. They remain one of the best choices we made for our wedding and I’ll be forever grateful for them. -

Every couple's wishlist photography team should be DeLine Photography!
My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Cat during the engagement shoot stage through our big day and now beyond. I was able to interact with her second shooter Ashley on our wedding day. As my wife and I are both vendors, choosing a photographer carried more weight than most, but DeLine Photography was the right choice and showed us that with every step of the process. Cat made us feel especially relaxed and most importantly, ourselves, with a taste of what to expect at our engagement shoot and then having that same experience on our big day. I don't leave reviews, but for this experience I will make an exception, happily! -

SO much more than just a photographer!
Booking Cat as our June 2024 wedding photographer was the best decision we could have made! From day one, her incredible personality shines through and you’ll want to be (or think you already are) best friends with her by the end. She will always tell you to treat her photoshoots as a date night/day and she truly means it. She knows exactly what to say to make you feel comfortable, get a laugh out of you, or erase the awkwardness completely. Everyone in our bridal party couldn’t stop talking about how awesome she was! You can tell by Cat’s work that she truly cares about capturing your relationship, it’s not just about getting a pretty picture for her (even though they’re all gorgeous!). She wanted us to be ourselves and goofy and playful, which is exactly what we wanted in our pictures. Also not to mention, she went completely above and beyond on the wedding day and acted way more than just a photographer. She worked closely with all my vendors to make sure the day went off without a hitch and helped out with anything if she could. She was also my biggest hype woman and truly cared about all our family members and friends. I could go on and on about how gorgeous her photos were and how amazing of a person she is! I could not recommend her more and don’t know why anyone would ever choose another photographer over her! -

Amazing photographers
This review is long overdue!
I cannot express how amazing the whole Deline team is! My husband and I were nervous that our photos would look staged and not organic. We expressed this to Cat when we had our consultation and she went over how they get there natural/organic photos. Ashley was our photographer and she did an amazing job at our engagement photos and our wedding photos. At our engagement photos she perfectly captured our goober pup but more importantly we had so much fun walking around getting our photos taken!
On our wedding day Ashley went above and beyond what I would expect a photographer to do. My husband almost passed out at the alter, and she helped get water, juice, and a cold towel to help him through it. She also rearranged the timeline for our family photos so we could just take a minute to sit with each other after the excitement from the ceremony. I know my husband appreciated the reprieve from the onslaught of family and friends teasing him. He is still embarrassed by the whole thing, but when we look at our photos he doesn’t even remember that part of the wedding, all he remembers is how happy he was during the whole day. She was amazing at getting our wedding party and family together for our photos too which honestly was like herding cats at times.
Our photos are amazing and we have a wedding photo wall and an engagement photo wall. She perfectly captured our wedding vibes which were just laid back and fun. -

The DeLine team (especially Cat!) was so wonderful to work with from start to finish. We eloped, and Cat made the whole process feel so special. We love our beautiful photos. We even brought our two dogs with us, and Cat did an amazing job capturing photos of them - not only that, but she knew we were in town on our own and even brought her husband to keep an eye on them while we took photos. It was so thoughtful and went above and beyond. -

Cat is the best!
We knew finding the right photographer for our wedding was going to be one of the most important decisions we made because our wedding photos are what we will look back and cherish forever, but from the first moment we spoke to Cat we knew she was the one! Not only are her pictures absolutely beautiful but her talent in front and behind the lens is unmatched! Cat has a unique ability to make you feel so comfortable and feel like your best self all while having fun doing it! Not to mention her knowledge and understanding of weddings and how to help make your wedding day seamless was a game changer! Cat was constantly answering any question we had and giving us advice throughout our entire time leading up to our wedding day and we were so thankful we had her (and all the giggles we shared along the way). Cat is INCREDIBLE!!! Truly a one of a kind photographer and human! We cannot imagine our wedding without her. My wife and I got married this past May and had SO MUCH FUN taking our photos with Danielle and Naomi! Everything was perfect from the communication beforehand to the execution on the day. The photos turned out incredibly and we were given beautiful sneak peeks the next day, another round a few weeks later, and the entire album after about 2 months. During the session, they made us feel so comfortable and made sure things turned out exactly how we wanted. We are so happy with the results and can't thank the whole team enough! -

If we could rate Cat with 10 million stars we would!!! We truly cannot say enough good things about her. She is so much more than a photographer. She’s your number 1 hype man, your calm in the chaos, and your all around go to gal. Whenever we had a question or concern, she was there to support us. She constantly made us laugh and ALWAYS made us feel comfortable and loved. We ended up being lucky enough to have her alongside us throughout our 3 year planning journey (caused by COVID delays), and the entire time she was extremely communicative and reliable. We felt so taken care of by her; because we had Cat, we knew everything would be wonderful. And we haven’t even mentioned her skills as a photographer yet! That’s just how incredible of a person she is to work with. As for ber photography skills…they are out of this world! Every single shot is created with so much love and care. One of our favorite things about all of our photos from her is the way she creates memories with them. She perfectly captures each moment, so much so that looking at each picture immediately transports us back to that moment. We are so excited for the next opportunity we get to book Cat because we just can’t wait to hang out with her. When you book Cat, you don’t just get the best photographer, you get a new best friend. Cat is THE BEST. Our wedding planner recommended her and after our first meeting with her, we knew there was no way we'd go with anyone else. We were so lucky to get to work with her for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and our wedding. Photos are usually something that would make us feel uncomfortable but not with Cat. She has the best personality and ability to make you feel comfortable. She was my biggest hype girl on the wedding day and even all of our guests commented on how wonderful she was. BUT, most of all, let's talk about her work. She is an incredible photographer and we absolutely love all of our pictures. I have had so many people tell me that our photographer nailed it, and she did. Please do yourself the favor of having Cat as part of your vendor team to capture the best photos. You will not regret it! -

Cat is truly one of a kind.
It was February 2019 when we first met Cat during our kickoff/intro call and from that first conversation, we were confident that she would make us feel comfortable, beautiful and most importantly, she knew her sh*t. Then well the world blew up due to COVID-19.
We had Cat shoot both our wedding and our engagement and her product is unmatched. We have received endless compliments about both sessions but of course, our wedding photos take the cake. They are so spectacularly beautiful that my best friend who was in my wedding is exploring Cat shoot hers as well.
Cat was professional, but not stuffy. She and her second photographer, Jo, made everyone feel special and kept the laughs going over the 8 hours they were with us. Not only did Cat direct the HELL out of our bridal parties and families, but she took the wheel when we needed someone to be kept in line.
She was our cheerleader, our timekeeper AND our own crisis management manager. The crisis being, albeit minor, but when my makeup started to come off due to me not knowing how to dab away tears properly, in came Cat to the rescue. This was 5 minutes before walking down the aisle, by the way.
If you're looking for someone genuinely in love with what they do, care for their couples as if they are her besties and hype you up the WHOLE damn time. Cat. Is. Your. Girl.
The investment, while not small, is worth every penny. Our photos are absolutely stunning and we can not thank Cat enough for capturing the most incredible day of our lives.
I would be remiss to leave out one of the best parts of the night which was the photo booth that we rented from Cat as an add on to our package. The photo booth itself was sleek and caught everyone by surprise because they hadn't seen the same type at weddings before. We chose to have it set in black and white and WOW. The photo booth provided us with most gorgeous snapshots of the fun our guests were having and portraits of the most loved people in our life.
To reiterate, if you're between vendor options and Cat is in your top picks (and I may be biased) do yourself a favor and go with Cat. She absolutely blew us (and our families) away and we'll be forever grateful for her. -

Cat Is The Best Photographer You'll Ever Work With!
Cat is such an amazing photographer who knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She did our engagement photos back in 2019 and stuck with us through the pandemic and having to postpone our wedding for a year! She was by far the most flexible wedding vendor we had, and she was so supportive of us during such a crazy time for everyone, much less people who were planning weddings! She worked with us to put together a package that included just what we wanted and did a beautiful job with everything! Cat even gives you a sneak peek of some of your photos the very next day, which is so exciting to have while you anticipate the full album! You will be so glad you booked Cat for your photography. She puts you at ease and makes everything a breeze! -

She was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process - from our first phone conversation, to helping us find a venue for our engagement portraits, to walking us through her pricing so we got the best deal, and obviously, was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. We had a terrible venue coordinator and Cat stepped up and assisted with everything so we didn't have to worry about a thing! She bussled my dress a thousand times and even brought the bridal party Liquid IV when we were hungover from the night before. Just truly a great human, super funny, and a brilliant photographer. Cat is simply the best
Stop looking for a photographer, you won't find anyone better than your girl, Cat! If being an incredibly talented photographer and carrying herself with the highest level of professionalism weren't enough, Cat is also one of the coolest people you'll ever meet. There were times during our wedding where Cat felt more like a friend or guest than a vendor. My guests, especially my bridesmaids, are still talking about how much they loved her. She made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and encouraged our true personalities to shine. Cat will not judge your weird or awkward , she will embrace it and make it look beautiful. We have received so many compliments on our sneak peak photos! Cat is very well organized and worked super efficiently, capturing all of the photos on our list without taking us away from the celebration. Choosing Cat as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Wedding photos are one of the few souvenirs you have from your big day, and you will not regret hiring Cat to capture every moment. Cat DeLine was one of the absolute best choices we made for our wedding, and you will NOT regret choosing her. To keep costs down, I DIY'ed a lot of our wedding - including our engagement photos. For that reason, I knew I wouldn't actually spend real time with Cat until the wedding day (other than the initial phone interviews when we inquired about her services). I asked her to have a virtual "Happy Hour" with us - and she was happy to set aside that time to make us feel more at ease (plus she and my husband bonded over sports). The day of the wedding, it really was like having an extra friend there, she was quick with her work but made us feel so comfortable, and she was fun, and she was helpful, and I honestly felt like I had a badass superstar making the day WORK. It was all perfect. But the best part about Cat was what happened the day after the wedding: I learned the night of my wedding that my Grandfather had passed earlier that day. The next day, literally in the morning of a snowstorm, Cat texted me 6 STUNNING sneak peak photos. I was still crying about my loss, but those photos were the thing that helped me hold on to my excitement about my awesome wedding. Not only that, when I told her about my loss, she comforted me like a friend, and then included an incredible panorama in my final photo gallery as a labor of love. I could not recommend Cat more - she is worth every penny and you will be so grateful to her for every second of her time. -

Can’t say enough good things about Cat Deline at Deline Photography! Once we decided to elope, we immediately reached out to Cat knowing we would want a small photo shoot to document our day. Cat was prompt in her reply, easy to talk with, and helped us pull together an impromptu elopement shoot over the course of a weekend and made herself available that Monday for it! She was even able to give advice on what to expect at the courthouse for our civil ceremony and remained flexible with us through the entire process. If you are averse to staged photos and are worried about feeling awkward, don’t be! Cat was extremely easy to be around, talk with, and offered great advice and direction making our photos fun and natural throughout our entire shoot. Also Cat has a real artists eye, her framing, color saturation, and attention to detail are on point. The finished product is beautifully rendered memories we now have available to pass on to our families. In addition, her print ordering service and quality are amazing, making ordering albums and keepsakes easy and fast. Look no further if you need a wedding photographer, Cat is amazing. -

Cat was HANDS DOWN the best decision I made for my wedding! After our first conversation, I knew she was the photographer I wanted to capture my special day. During the entire wedding planning, Cat was more than just our photographer, she was my saving grace!! Due to COVID, we were forced to postpone our wedding (originally scheduled for May to October). Cat was the first call I made. She was the ONE vendor I refused to lose due to postponing. I asked for for her availability and my husband and I picked a new date based on when she could be there. During re-planning, she was constantly checking in with me. She even helped me find new vendors since some of our original vendors were already booked on our new date. She honestly kept me SANE and was such a BLESSING! Fast Forward to day of: Even though I had never met her in person, it felt like I had known her forever! She was ALWAYS professional but she also knew how to laugh, joke and have a good time. My entire wedding party & family all said how amazing she was and how comfortable they felt around her. While taking photos, she makes sure to truly catch the "real" you. If you are looking for genuine photos and not those prom posed photos, look no further. If you're wondering about gallery delivery. The morning after our ceremony, I woke up to a text from Cat, giving me a handful of sneak peaks. Then less than a week later, I received an email with vendor sneak peaks! I was shocked to see almost 100 photos that were STUNNING! Less than a month later, my entire gallery arrived with hundreds of photos! A lot of my friends have gotten married in the past couple of years and I have been apart of their weddings, I have never seen them get 1. as many sneak peaks as I did 2. their entire gallery back in less than a month 3. get as many pictures. **Don't let the speed of delivery fool you either, these photos were incredible.** Cat is truly a talent and it shows in how amazing these and all of her pictures are! I could go on and on about Cat. I am in event planning and would/have recommended her to my clients. She is one of a kind. The saying "worth every penny" is an UNDERSTATEMENT for Cat. She is worth every penny & more!!!! -

I really can not put into the right words how grateful we are for Cat. From our first conversation we felt so comfortable hiring her as our photographer. We were pretty nervous going into our engagement shoot but as soon as we started talking to Cat, those nerves went away! She is sooo much fun to be around and turns shooting into something that feels more like you're just hanging out with your person. Her photo's really captured the uniqueness of our relationship. Fast forward to the wedding and by that time, with all of her keeping in touch throughout the planning process, she felt like a friend. As soon as she showed up, it felt like a breath of fresh air and I knew no matter what happened that day, Cat would have my back. Everyone at the wedding raved about how much fun she was. She got a sneak peak back to us in literally 2 days and our full gallery in a month!!! This was just incredible to me because most of my friends didn't get their galleries for at least 2 months. I've looked at the photos a thousand times since we got them back and I can't get over how perfect they are. Again, she captured OUR love perfectly. This job was her calling for sure. Cat is hands down the BEST photographer I’ve ever met and the talent she has in impeccable. She captures all the right details and when she’s around you she feels like a long time friend. She’s so easy to be yourself around and very organized, it’s like having a wedding planner and a photographer in one. Planning a wedding around COVID and hurricanes was a mess, but she made it easy and worked with us having to reschedule and move things around, we knew could count on her! For us, a photographer was the biggest deal because those pictures remind you everyday of your special day and choosing her was the best decision we made, you truly won’t be disappointed! -

We could not be happier with our experience with Cat. Right from the beginning she took the stress out of a huge part of our wedding. Cat was extremely responsive with all of our questions. When it came to our wedding day, she had done her research on the venue and came prepared with where to get the best shots. She also has this incredible ability to rally the bridal party in a way that we did not think was possible with our group of friends. We had our engagement shoot in November of 2019 and we were very nervous going into it, however Cat made us feel comfortable and captured our day perfectly. She sent us sneak peaks of our wedding the next morning, which made us even more excited to see the full gallery. Our wedding date was during Covid, and leading up to it was very stressful and uncertain. Cat was accommodating and would always reach out to us to make sure we were okay and willing to provide any help needed. We knew that Cat would do anything to make our special day happen. This is a testament to her character and shows how much she truly cares about her couples. You would be doing yourself and your wedding day a huge disservice if you go with anyone besides DeLine Photography. -

Where do I begin!? I found Cat through Instagram and reached out to her to do our elopement pictures back in May. I wasn’t from the area and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND!! She suggested a couple places and even went to the location to take pictures and videos to send me. She took time to do research on how to get married during a pandemic by calling the courthouse to get information. She was quick to respond, so extremely helpful and incredibly kind! She was my hype girl on the day of our elopement and even managed to make my husband who can be a little awkward look fantastic in our photos! I can’t recommend Cat enough! She did so much more than I could have ever thought to have in a photographer!!!! BOOK HER YA’LL!! -

My husband was the reason why we got a photographer at our wedding. At first I did not want to hire one but as I was looking for some marriage licensing info, I came across Cat's website. After chatting with Cat, doing the process, and finally taking the photos... It was one of the best decisions I have ever made! My experience with DeLine Photography was amazing, comfortable, and super fun! She made everything easy and very organized. I planned my wedding/elopement cermeony within two weeks so you can imagine how hectic that was. I am so grateful that she made the time, in such short notice, to be at my wedding. Me and my husband felt completely comfortable being in front of the camera, as she was guiding us. The photos came out the way we wanted it! Actually more than we expected. Oh my I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cat! Me and my fiancé are out of towners so we setup our engagement shoot for the weekend when we would be in OBX to do some wedding planning. Of course Mother Nature is unpredictable and Cat waited down to the last minute to see if we should postpone. I couldn't thank her enough because nobody wants to take their beach pictures in cold and rainy wind. She provided multiple different options and pushed back to meet us for a sunrise session a few days later (which happened to be the day we lost an hour) with no problem. I can't tell you how anxious I was to take pictures. We are not the models you see all over instagram BUT oh my did we have fun! Taking photos with Cat is like hanging out with a friend and we basically just spent our entire session laughing. If your fiancé has fun taking pictures you know it was a good time. And let me tell you the pictures are AMAZING, I had so many people reach out telling me just how great they were and I couldn't be more thrilled. I feel so much more at peace for our wedding day after our session so if I have one piece of advice BOOK CAT because you won't regret it. -

Cat is absolutely THE MOST amazing photographer and you will find. I work in the wedding industry, and I can promise you that you don't find that much talent & compassion in one person easily. I booked her for my engagement photos and wedding and I have never worked with a better photographer. If you CAN book Cat, don't miss your chance! Oh my goodness, where do I even start with Cat. She is AMAZING! Cat did both our engagement and wedding day photos. After first meeting her, my husband and I both felt so comfortable with her. She was the one that recommended locations for both of our photo sessions and they turned out phenomenally. I cannot WAIT to get our wedding day pictures. Cat knows exactly how to capture the romance, love, personality, and funny moments that you want to always remember. -

Stop what you’re doing & book her! Not only is her work fabulous but you will feel like you’re hanging with an old friend. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable-even my husband who doesn’t like pictures was like “that was so easy”. Genuinely cared about making our day special
Cat was absolutely phenomenal to work with. Everything that could have gone wrong on our special day did, but Cat was able to guide us through a 40 min ceremony delay, 2 hour power outage, and fussy family members while giving us some of the most beautifully romantic shots I've ever seen. I would hands down recommend her to anyone looking to have some fairytale-like keepsakes from their wedding day. -

Great Photographer!
We were happy with our photographer choice before we even received the pictures. Cat gave us recommendations for the best places to take pictures at our venue and talked to us about how to make everything fit into our timeline. The day of the wedding she was great! Cat was relaxed and fun during the event and it made us feel more comfortable. Getting your picture taken can be kind of awkward. She also knocked out the family portraits like a pro. And obviously the pictures are amazing! We love them so much and it was great getting a few pictures the day after to post on social media and use for thank you cards! -

“A portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it.” ... And in this case the operator ( Cathryn Deline) of said camera is so amazing at what she does !! The comfort, fun, and pure beauty that Cathryn executes during a session is unlike any photo shoot We have ever done !! To us being comfortable with a photographer is so very important because getting that perfect in the moment shot is where the best pictures happen and she has an eye and a way to capture the exact second !!! From start to finish she went above and beyond to make this a special experience and our happiness was her number one goal !!! We couldn’t be happier with our pictures and I still sit in aaawww at them because I never imagined being able to look at a picture and actually feel the feelings I felt in that moment !!! Y'all Cat is AMAZING! I would have another wedding just to have her shoot it again. the whole process was seamless. She was always quick to respond to emails, which for me was a big deal. the day of the wedding she was perfect. She was great at wrangling the bridal party and getting the perfect pictures FAST! We got a sneak peek the next morning and once we got the rest of the pics they were AMAZING! I am still getting compliments on them, she really know how to capture all the feelings from that day. Picking her will be the best decision you make for your wedding day. -

Sally Sent on 09/29/2018A destination wedding as I was moving from Washington to California and then flying out 2.5 months later to get married in Maui - this was my girl from the start! Communication was amazing, she was willing to be over the top flexible with any ideas and had a unending list of her own amazing ideas. She was more than just an artist, I felt she was my friend, I'm almost sad she's leaving Maui! But congrats to those who get the opportunity to use her amazing talents. She's worth every cent!

We hired Cat for our small wedding ceremony in October 2025 and choosing DeLine was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Communication during and leading up to the event was great. Cat is warm, friendly and has great suggestions. We recieved our sneak peaks within 24 hours and our final photos well on time.
Cat had a list of all the family shots which helped alleviate stress and made the family photo session seamless. We also planned to have our wedding on the beach, but the tide was too high due to storms. She accomodated with our new plan of a backyard wedding 24hrs before and was able to solidify private photos at the Currituck Lighthouse at sunset. Her and her team go the extra mile. We couldn't be happier with how our big day turned out.

Cat and her team are simply amazing! I fell in love with Cat's photography when I discovered her company on WeddingWire. She was unavailable the day of my wedding but she paired us with another one of her photographers, Danielle, based on our style. I told her my husband and I are not sappy and don't like to pose and she thought Danielle was a perfect fit. She captured some really beautiful candid moments (pictures speak for themselves)
Working with Cat was so easy. Not only is she professional and responsive but she's so super friendly and down to earth. She helped plan the entire day's timeline and even coordinated with hair and make-up to make sure everyone was on the same schedule. She checked in several times in the weeks leading up to the event to make sure I was comfortable with the plan and wasn't stressing too much (which is hard NOT to do when planning a wedding!)
Danielle was also super friendly and fun to work with. The day of the event, the girls were running behind schedule (go figure) but Danielle adapted and made it work. She made sure I got all of the groups of people I wanted to take photos with and we even had a few spare minutes to join cocktail hour earlier than we expected! She made it easy to relax but gave enough instruction for some bomb pictures that I will cherish forever!
