Best Wedding Food EVER!
We catered Deep Run Roadhouse for our wedding after it came HIGHLY recommended by our venue, and they did not disappoint! Our tasting was so special—they set us up in a private room with every food option possible, which was both incredibly fun and delicious. The entire process was seamless, from the initial planning and phone calls right down to the delivery.
Most importantly, the food was absolutely incredible; so many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! They were also incredibly accommodating with dietary restrictions—we had guests with nut allergies and gluten intolerances who were still able to enjoy a full, delicious plate of food.
Every single plate was full at the beginning of the night and wiped clean by the end. What more could you ask for? If you want to actually eat and enjoy your own wedding meal, absolutely hire Deep Run Roadhouse. Thank you so much!

I can’t say enough about Deep Run Roadhouse, the catering managers, bartenders and all the service staff. The planning process was efficient and detailed. We were able to do a tasting of the foods we would be serving which was really fun. The day of set up was seamless. The buffet lines were kept moving and replenished . The tables were bussed and the space kept clean all while blending into the wedding events and timeline . Multiple guests raved about the food and said it was some of the best they had ever had at a wedding. They were professional , friendly and really added to our wedding experience . 10/10 would recommend them.

Deep Run Roadhouse exceeded expectations matching my decor and providing signage. The buffet lines moved quickly, and tables were bussed in a timely manner to keep the elegant look of the venue. They were excellent packing up the leftovers and washing our plates and silverware. I had several guests say it was the best wedding food they have ever had and that they plan to frequent their restaurant location for their brisket and mac and cheese. As if that wasn't enough, the staff was incredibly friendly to both us as a couple and our guests. They went above and beyond to make the day magical and were so complimentary of us. 10/10 would recommend.

DRR catered our wedding on 6/8/24. They were punctual, professional, and knew what they were doing! I had a stress free day with them at my wedding! The bartender was also incredibly personable! She even took time to visit my wedding website so she knew what to expect. I was shocked (in a positive way!) it truly shows just how dedicated they are to their customers. From the taste testing to the day of, we couldn’t have asked for better people to work with! We also received lots of compliments on how well the food tasted!! We hired Deep Run Roadhouse for our wedding and it was the BEST decision we made!! They were incredibly helpful while picking out our menu and very thorough with details at our final walkthrough. On the wedding day, the staff was very professional and on top of everything. All 19 of our tables were fed through the buffet quickly with great portion sizes, and my husband and I were plated the second we sat down. The food was AMAZING, and we now have leftovers for days! Deep Run bussed the tables and kept the venue tidy from cocktail hour all the way until the night was over. I cannot recommend them enough to cater your wedding!!

Deep Run Roadhouse was the caterer at my husband & I’s September wedding and they were absolutely amazing! From the tasting to wedding day they were incredible to work with. Kevin helped us at our tasting to make our selections and since it was buffet style, we were afraid we may run out of food but he reassured us that we would have plenty and he was absolutely right! On our wedding day (& even to this day!) all of our guests kept telling us how delicious the food was! Everyone loved the brisket and said it was the best brisket they ever had. Paul and the entire team at DRR were amazing from start to finish!! From our first inquiry, to our tasting (which was incredible and the best barbecue I have tasted in a LONG time), to the day of our wedding, everything was so smooth and incredibly easy. I'm a wedding photographer myself and they are by far the easiest and most communicative caterer I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Their email responsiveness is truly next level. I have a myriad of food allergies (as did a few other guests) and DRR was incredibly accommodating to make sure we all had something we could eat!

Deep Run catered our wedding and I couldn’t recommend them more!!
They have a wide variety of main course options. What surprised us the most was actually the giant bbq portobello mushrooms, and we aren’t even vegetarian! I’ve never tasted a bbq veggie option with so much depth and flavor. The meat was cooked to perfection, it won the approval of our “bbq snob” uncle from Kansas 😉Truly everything tasted amazing, our guests couldn’t stop telling us how much they loved it.
What we loved besides the food: The tasting is free and they give you enough food to take leftovers home!
After the down payment you pay off your balance in any increment you want which is so nice for budgeting & other unexpected expenses.
The staff is SO friendly, they always answer the phone and helped with every question we had, which was a lot. They were so sweet and accommodating to us the day of our wedding. Our guests also commented on how friendly and outgoing our bartenders were.

The BEST BBQ in Virginia
Stop looking!! This is the best caterer for BBQ in Virginia! The food is amazing and the staff is so kind and thoughtful! We hired DRR for our daughter's wedding and we are so happy we did. From the very beginning, their process was easy and efficient! On the wedding day, they exceeded any and all expectations for food, presentation and staffing! All our guests commented on how good the food was and how wonderful the staff was! Thank you DRR for making our daughter's wedding day so wonderful!

Hands down the best vendor we worked with through our whole wedding process. These folks were professional, responsive, and genuinely kind and friendly. Not only did they cater the reception, they also provided food for cocktail hour and staffed the bar. They went above and beyond in helping us plan for our event and required zero management.

Everything we wanted and more
Deep Run was the perfect vendor for our wedding. We wanted something delicious, easy, and affordable. Deep Run delivered on all those filters. They were flexible and easygoing throughout the process, their staff was incredibly helpful and fun on the big day, and our guests are still (months later) commenting on how good our wedding meal was. A well traveled friend from London remarked that it might have been the best wedding meal he's ever tasted. Can't recommend this crew highly enough.

Amazing food!!
If you are looking for amazing BBQ, the BEST portobello mushrooms, and the most delicious sweet potatoes you could ever taste, look no further!! Deep Run Roadhouse Catering went above and beyond for our wedding day. The staff was the most organized and professional I have ever witnessed. We have received SO many compliments from everyone that attended our wedding on how delicious our food was and how so many of them went up for seconds! We will most definitely be going to eat at their restaurant often, and my parents now go on a regular basis because it is that good! I can't recommend Deep Run Roadhouse enough! So easy to work with and amazing food!
My wedding was postponed 3 times due to COVID! I hired Deep Run Roadhouse literally one week before my wedding date and they were SO easy to work and professional. Their staff were amazing on our wedding day and the food was phenomenal. We also used their bartender service and their bartender killed it all night long! We are so happy we went with Deep Run Roadhouse!

My wife and I both love bbq and found Deep Run as one of the best places for brisket, pulled pork, and smoked chicken! We were blown away at how much they cared about every detail of our wedding. From start to finish, they had us covered with a caring and individualized approach to helping us achieve our dream. If you're on the fence about selecting Deep Run as your caterer, do it! You won’t regret DRR as a wedding vendor!
We got married 10/08 and had DRR cater. They were amazing from day 1! We had a great tasting with them and they walked us through all the options and gave great recommendations. They are insanely professional and their staff the day of was so kind. Our guests went on and on about the food as well!!! They are also really flexible on guest count, you send final numbers about a week before. I’m so glad we opted for them as a caterer, and now couldn’t imagine the day using anyone else. I highly recommend them to anyone!

AMAZING……which my wife and I already knew from the tasting. We couldn’t wait to share our tasting experiences with our family and friends, especially the Jalapeño Mac and Cheese. Most people don’t think of Jalapeño when eating Mac and Cheese. Let me tell yall, this was a HIT and along with smoked BBQ Salomon! We received massive compliments on how delicious the food was at our wedding. Kevin, and the Deep Run Roadhouse team really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, including providing excellent service at the bar with top tier bartenders. Kevin and his staff were constantly in touch with us leading up to the wedding, working hard on special requests and our constant changing of the menu items. The day of the wedding the staff made sure my wife and I ate and had plenty to go home with. They packed our truck and cleaned up professionally, leaving us with no worries. I will continue to highly recommend Deep Run Roadhouse to anyone I contact with, from just grabbing lunch, to large weddings and gathering.

Amazing food (like literally best BBQ we've ever had) and even better staff! Deep Run Roadhouse was our caterer for our wedding day and our rehearsal dinner the night before! They truly make sure all bases are covered so your event will run smoothly with phone calls and questionnaires. The staff were on time and so helpful with any and all set up. They help clean throughout the night, take out all trash, and make sure all your guests are taken care of. There menu was so diverse we were able to do TexMex for the rehearsal and BBQ for the wedding without our guests being served the same thing twice and it was all DELICIOUS! They have so many options to fit your event perfectly. You can't go wrong with going with Deep Run!

We got married in July 2022 and the number one thing our guests (198 people) have said to us is how much they enjoyed the food. We have been told by numerous guests including the preacher has done 100's of weddings that our food was the best they ever had. I cannot recommend them enough. Perfect for our wedding!
From the moment I met them at a wedding expo, I knew I wanted DRR to cater our wedding. The tasting we set up solidified it! They are kind, informative, and just so easy to work with! At our wedding, all of our guests were raving about the food, and several texted me the following day to ask who catered because they wanted to go out for a meal there. And we had SO much food leftover, and they packed it up so we could take it home (we ended up doing a day after brunch to get some people to help us eat some of it and gave some to neighbors). We definitely got our money’s worth, and the price for our food budget. Highly recommend DRR for any event! Food is spot on, as is customer service!

Not your average wedding food
"The best brisket I've ever had!", "The most vegan food I've ever eaten at a wedding!", "I ate a whole plate of the green beans!" were just a few of the comments our wedding guests made to us the night of our wedding. Our guests kept going back to the buffet table for seconds and thirds! All of our wedding guests, vegan and not vegan, left our wedding full and happy. We shockingly still had some left over food after the wedding and our friends and family were calling dibs on who gets what. Our guests were so excited when we told them that they could order food for pick up from DRR any day of the week! Deep Run Roadhouse is not your basic wedding food, schedule your tasting now you will not regret it!

The team at Deep Run Roadhouse are here for you and whatever your wedding may entail. After our first tasting, we were in love with the food but nervous about all the little details that go into the preparation of the wedding dinner. Deep Run covered it all and knew all of the questions to ask us to make sure it went exactly as we envisioned. Great Wedding Caterer
We had a great experience working with Deep Run Roadhouse for our wedding day catering. They were easy to work with and it was nice that we could make changes up until a week before our wedding day. Deep Run Roadhouse always got back to us quickly and answered all our questions throughout the planning process. It was also nice that Deep Run Roadhouse had a variety of food we could pick from that wasn't solely BBQ. On our wedding day we were impressed with how efficiently they set up, served, and cleaned up the food. Our guests really enjoyed the food they provided. They also provided us with honeymoon platters which we enjoyed the following night. It was nice to sit and enjoy the food they provided the next day after the craziness of the wedding day. Beyond happy that we chose Deep Run to cater our wedding! The food was outstanding in flavor, the presentation was elegant and the staff extremely helpful and flexible at all times during the event! We highly recommend you fully staff your event with them, they also were a huge help in setting up and clearing the venue afterwards. And let me tell you, you won't get that quality of brisket and chicken for such a reasonable price - we ordered above our headcount and glad that we did because we barely had any food left at the end of the night. Awesome for our backyard wedding!

DRRH did an phenomenal job for my wedding! All the caterers were absolutely amazing and so polite to our guest. We will definitely be going back for dinner. The only thing that sucked is that I requested a mashed potatoe bar and i didn’t have any mashed on my honeymoon plate. But that still doesn’t stop me from rating 10/10. Food was delish.

Perfect Catering
Deep run went above and beyond to help us out with our wedding. When the day came, they were on time, professional, and the food was delicious. They have vegan and vegetarian options (which are delicious, by the way) along with your regular Tex max/bbq menu items, but way above average quality. The bartender service they offer was top notch as well, making sure nobody was without a drink if they wanted one. 15/10 would recommend.

Best Experience Ever !
Deep Run Roadhouse went above and beyond making sure the guests and my husband and I were comfortable and taken care of the whole time. Food was amazing and service was great ! Highly recommend and for future events will definitely will be using them to cater.

Highly recommend!
Their food is awesome, their staff is awesome, would 100% use them for other events in the future! Their banana pudding is the best! And btw, so many people came up to me after the wedding and asked who did the catering. This place is gonna have a lot of new customers soon!!

The Absolute BEST
Deep Run Roadhouse was a dream vendor in every sense. Professional, friendly, organized, flexible and when it came to the big day they executed wonderfully. Everyone raved about the food and the staff were so helpful and delightful. Hands down the best vendor decision we made!

Delicious Perfection!
Excellent experience from beginning to end! Started with a private tasting with full buffet spread! It was difficult to narrow down our selections as we wanted everything! Communication was always easy. Delivery was prompt and set up was all taken care of beautifully. The food was superb and glad we had leftovers which we devoured over the following week! I can't wait to go back for takeout - literally the best BBQ I've had in Virginia! Thank you so much Deep Run Roadhouse!

People still raving!
We heard nothing but rave reviews from the guests at our event about how good the food was and that it was in the top best meals they had ever had. The brisket was outstanding! The service was wonderful. The price was very reasonable! I fully recommend Depp Run Roadhouse

It was so AMAZING! Great experience
Deeprun roadhouse is amazing! The staff is very professional and super helpful…. And did I mention the food is absolutely DELICIOUS! From the set up and everything.. Wedding rehearsal and Welcome Dinner
Deep Run Roadhouse recently catered a welcome reception for my wedding. Throughout the process of working with DRR, they were extremely helpful and informative. No detail was too small. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. In addition to the food, we paid for staff to serve at the event. They took care of everything from start to finish. All We had to do was enjoy spending time with the guests. At the end of the evening, they packaged the leftovers and made sure the area was clean. I highly recommend DRR for their great food and catering service.

Above and beyond expectations!!
Our experience with deep run roadhouse couldn’t have been better. From our initial consult through the final product, everything was simple. These people know what they are doing! There process is streamlined and they absolutely delivered above and beyond. The food was delicious and the price was far better than other options we looked into. People raved about the food all night! We were so excited when we had leftovers. I spoke with Meredith and other members of the catering team on several occasions and they were always kind, professional, and very accommodating. I can’t speak highly enough about them! We are so grateful that we chose deep run for our wedding!

We Highly Recommend Deep Run Roadhouse For Wedding Catering!
Deep Run Roadhouse catered our wedding of 140 people and the entire experience was wonderful. Communication is great and they schedule several meetings leading up to the date, to ensure they have the details right. Not only that, but they are pleasant to work with! We also loved how flexible they were, for example, we provided our own alcohol (beer/wine/signature drinks), and they asked a ton of questions to make sure they could serve it how we wanted. Everything went smoothly the day of, and the food was fun and absolutely delicious! We received nothing but great complements from our guest about their food and service.

Best of the Best!
Deeprun was one of the best vendors at our wedding. Everyone and I mean everyone.... complimented the food! Usually wedding food can be hit or miss but over a year later people who attended our wedding are still bringing up how great the food was. Beyond being tasty the service and responsiveness was great as well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great wedding caterer.

Amazing! Above and beyond expectations
Deep Run BBQ is excellent food with top tier service! We had our guest rave about the BBQ, Mac and cheese, and the Texas caviar all night! They were professional and extremely t, evening offering to run out and get some last minute things for our dinner that we needed! They are truly a top choice for a wedding catering team

EXCELLENT food and service!
I cannot say enough good things about Deep Run Roadhouse! First, the food is excellent - many of our guests said it was the best food they'd had at a wedding! The team was so flexible with many options for different dietary needs. We had so many great choices for our menu - we were never "locked in" to a particular package and could always make changes. Everyone at Deep Run was very responsive and friendly, whether over phone, email, or in person. They made great suggestions to help our event go as smoothly as possible! On the day of, they were helpful and professional, and took care of everything - setup, service, and cleanup. For a better value than many catering companies we looked into, I think we had better food and service. Finally, we had a rescheduled wedding due to Covid, and the team at Deep Run was incredibly flexible and understanding! HIGHLY recommend them to anyone getting married!

Delicious!
We'd known for our intimate ceremony at a nearby venue that we wanted no frills, honest-to-goodness delicious barbeque and boy did we find it! We barely had to lift a finger during our planning with Deep Run - Kevin and Meredith were an incredible team, always emailing and editing our order as needed up till a week before the wedding, and the service the day of was just as spectacular. Beautiful presentation, fantastic meal, and some of the best people we'd worked with during the whole wedding process. Can't recommend enough!

Deep Run Roadhouse was an absolute dream to work with from the start! They are very quick to respond, very helpful, and the food was to die for! We received so many compliments on the food. Absolutely delicious! They brought everything we needed for the dinner and set it up, making everything super easy. A great price too—and the food was so good, we wouldn’t have gone anywhere else, even if our budget was 3x bigger.

Our guests raved all night about how good the food was! The planning process was totally stress-free and Meredith was great to work with. Day of, the catering staff was professional and friendly. I first have to say both me and my wife absolutely loved Deep Run Roadhouse before and that love has grown even more after our recent reception! The process was very easy with discussing what we were looking for. The staff is very friendly and professional. The food was exquisite and we couldn't have asked for anything better. We'll be sure to continue spreading the word of this great vendor/restaurant and look forward to coming there in the near future

DeepRun Roadhouse catered our rehearsal dinner and our reception. The food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic. Very Impressed
Deep Run Roadhouse is the best bbq I've had in a long time. Other caterer prices were ridiculously high, but DRR was a much more affordable price. They let us have a tasting and made it personalized for us. When we needed extra silverware, they threw in extra just in case. They worked with us and went above and beyond to deliver the food to our venue that was a little further out. I am no vegan, but those mushrooms made me question my meat loving diet. The appetizers were a hit! The sauces were great, more vinegar thin based. Added that extra kick but not too much! Everyone at the wedding said the food was awesome and everyone got seconds. We actually ran out of brisket. We would highly recommend this place to anyone for their wedding and we plan on going back there for dinner!
