Fantastic Experience!

Looking to replace the stone in my engagement ring but not wanting to spend a fortune, I decided that a lab grown diamond was not only an environmentally friendly choice, but would allow me to purchase a stone of exceptional quality that would be unaffordable in the same quality mined diamond.
I found deBebians while doing a Google search and, compared to some of the other companies I looked into, found their website to be easy to navigate, their selection better, and their prices lower.
Having to go back and forth between consulting the jeweler and finding a diamond that would fit into my setting, the initial diamond I had wanted to order was no longer available. I immediately received a call from Maggie at deBebians, and she worked to find me the perfect stone.
To give you an idea of how you’ll be treated, the diamond I was buying was around $600. Not $6000 or $60,000…six-hundred. Yet the attention, time and guidance I received from deBebians made me feel like I was shopping for a diamond worth more than my house! Not only did Maggie locate a diamond that was even nicer than the original one I had chosen, but the price difference for a larger and even better quality stone was negligible. There was no up-selling: I just needed a stone within a specific size range (in millimeters), and Maggie even advised me not to get a slightly larger and more expensive diamond I had enquired about during our search, as she felt there was a chance that particular stone wouldn’t work in my setting.
Shipping was free and lightening fast, even with the holiday weekend, and I couldn’t be happier with my beautiful new diamond and the exemplary service from deBebians.

It may be impossible to agree on personal styles, but it is guaranteed you'll agree that deBebians is THE place to shop for your jewelry. If you want personal attention and to be made to feel like you're standing in the store, even from across a country, do not hesitate to contact deBebians. We recently purchased a stunning engagement ring and eternity band from deBebians. We initially purchased the eternity band as a Valentine's gift and realized it was SO beautiful that it needed a match. My husband and I went on search for the perfect engagement ring upgrade and we got more than we bargained for. Not only did Maggie respond quickly, but she offered patient guidance and education to be certain that we would receive a work of art that was no less than perfect in our eyes. We thought the eternity band was breathtaking and once we received the engagement ring, we were floored. Maggie assisted in picking a gorgeous center stone that fit exactly within specifications we were looking for an precisely in budget (which was a deal). Matching that with a gorgeous setting and it only made me wish we knew of deBebians when we got married in 2007. It was a wonderful experience with Maggie and deBebians which produced a stunning representation of the love we still have for each other, almost 14 years later. The process was very smooth, even with an entire country across us. Questions were always answered promptly, communication was excellent and the end result was delivered quickly, safely and nothing short of the beauty we sought. I have never felt so spoiled to have these rings sit proudly on my hand and shine just as bright with just as much sparkle as we still have for our marriage. This company is the single best I have ever dealt with for ANY purchase, let alone just jewelry. I was dealing with a difficult return from a "chain" store, which added tremendous frustration and stress to the process but Maggie and Sam took the time to educate me. Their unparalleled knowledge, patience and unsurpassed customer service simply cannot be duplicated anywhere else. They are true professionals at the top of their game and going anywhere else would be a huge mistake. The price, value and quality of my purchase was incredible and took my breath away when I opened the box! My now wife has an awe inspiring ring on her finger because of Maggie and Sam's efforts and I will always be grateful!

As a graduate gemologist myself I know good workmanship and excellent quality and value. I reviewed many different jewelers before deciding to send my current engagement ring 3000 miles so deBebians could restyle it for my 22nd wedding anniversary. After speaking with Sam several times and tweaking the CAD drawing he emailed me I was very satisfied with the ring we co-designed. It arrived via UPS a short while later and I could not be more pleased. It is stunning! The workmanship is superb and the hand engraving is one of a kind. This is truly a lost art as no other jeweler that I know of can do the incredible work that debebians does. I am truly proud to wear my re-styled engagement ring for another 22 years. Good day all. I purchased a couples ring, which is a mother's ring with just two birthstones from this company and I gotta tell you that this was one of the best online companies I've ever done business with. The staff were friendly, polite, professional and quick. I received my order today on time and it's a stunning piece. The quality was better than I could've imagined and the two birthstones just dazzled. I have been waiting for years to buy my wife diamond stud earnings but I knew I wanted to wait till I could afford something I was going to be happy with for years to come. What better occasion than a 40th birthday you only get to do it once. I called Maggie to talk about the options and she was not only extremely informative on every aspect of the diamond world but so kind and patient with my questions. Once we set a budget we narrowed down the options based on what I though I wanted. I really loved in the end we focused more on the quality of the diamond than the size. When the earnings arrived I could not have been happier as they were absolutely brilliant and the quality was shinning right back at me. We were able to design our own rings and had nearly full control on the entire process. I couldn’t believe that was possible for the price point. A wonderful deal and I highly suggest the team at deBebians. Sam and his associates were a joy to deal with and very accommodating with sudden requests in order to make everything to preference. I recently worked with Sam at deBebians to create my engagement ring. The service, professionalism and the quality of my ring were nothing short of exceptional. Sam spent a long time with me helping me design my ring. He asked probing questions and really listened so that he could soon anticipate what I would or would not like. That allowed him to show me and suggest to me many options and modifications to create the perfect ring. He worked with Olivia to find the perfect diamond based on the shape, size, characteristics and budget I had. She found a few and gave me a professional opinion on the merits of each which made it easy for me to choose the stone for my ring. Then Sam very quickly created a CAD drawing of the ring and worked with me to make final changes to the ring. It took almost exactly the amount of time Sam quoted to create the ring, and he called me to give me progress reports during that time. My ring finally arrived and it is absolutely the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. Everyone who has seen it has commented on how beautiful and unique it is. I can't wait to get the wedding band which Sam is having made now to match my ring. You cannot go wrong with deBebians. Sam and Olivia are the best in the business!

Very pleased with the diamond earrings that I recently purchased for my niece, with Olivia Moldawer's help. She found the perfect stones within my price range, and suggested putting them in a gold bezel, so they would look even larger. In addition, the bezel would also fit in a diamond halo, if my niece decided to get one later. Olivia was terrific, and I have recommended her to many of my friends. She is a certified gemologist, so I felt very confident that she would do a good job. Olivia was like my "personal shopper" for diamond jewelry. She kept me informed at each stage of the process. I was initially skeptical about online ring shopping, but when I came across "the ring" I called DeBebians and got every question answered and more in a matter of minutes! I hardly ever write any reviews and for full disclosure, they asked me to write a review for them, but give the fantastic experience I had--I'm gladly doing it!

After my fiance told me she wanted an emerald cut style ring, I looked at almost all the major stores looking for one. After looking forever, I finally found a design that I liked but it involved flying to New York to have it custom made. I sent Sam a picture of the ring and some subtle changes I had in mind. He sent me a CAD drawing the following day that was beautiful. They were always available on the phone and spent so much time with me to make the ring of my dreams. I can't thank Sam and Olivia enough over there. Within 2 weeks, the ring was at my home which is amazing.

Overall, it was a great experience and if I ever had to get another engagement ring (..jk), I would definitely go with Sam again.

I just want to say what a pleasure it was working with Olivia at DeBebians. She gave me suggestions on the engagement ring and it came out GORGEOUS. I was very nervous buying over the internet without looking at it first but Olivia made me feel very comfortable and re-assured me it would turn out great. It arrived today and let me tell you it looks AWESOME.

I can't speak highly enough of this business. I worked in jewelry until college and am therefore probably too picky, but needed to have my wedding ring remounted. I went to every jewelry store in town and couldn't get the attention or price I was looking for, much less anything already made that suited me. One phone conversation with Sam and I knew he understood what I was looking for and his price was about 75% of what everyone else was asking. We worked through a few CAD designs and I even sent my 1.50 carat diamond half way across the country to be bezel set (this isn't necessary for most settings, they really don't even encourage you to send your diamond to them). The finished product is exactly what I imagined and after 10 years of my wedding ring sitting in my jewelry box it will never leave my finger :-)

I just received my custom designed "Halo" setting for my pear shape diamond. I changed the original design of my wedding (15 years old) ring for the new Halo design and was worried about the whole process of doing a custom setting with a company located in another state and over the internet. Well, all I can say is that I am so very pleased with the level of service I received and workmanship for this new design that I will be back for the matching wedding band!! I absolutely love it!! Sam was wonderful to work with, extremely helpful and most of all HONEST with me from the beginning to end. The price was far better than what I was quoted from a local jeweler that I will be back for all my future jewelry needs. Thank You!! My girl LOVED the 19 mm pendant/necklace I got her for her B-Day. The hand graving was absolutely beautiful and looked just like the one from the movie, "The Five Year Engagement".

Honestly, I did not know deBebians from any other jeweler so I took a shot and called them (after finding them on the net) and asked to help me find this pendant.

The sales people were VERY helpful because I told them I didn't want to pay too much but also staed, I didn't want to pay TOO LITTLE either. All I wanted was something decent that wouldn't break me and deBebians delivered in ALL AREAS.

I highly recommend them...and BTW, the gift box they wrapped this gift in was first class all of the way.

My woman is happy and now the world is "good". :-)

DeBebians was far and away the best, most attentive, most professional company I've dealt with in what had been a rather lengthy search for the right diamond. I'd recommend using them (Maggie in particular) to anyone looking for a loose diamond.

The diamond business is obviously rather opaque to outsiders, so it can be quite daunting to know if you're getting a good diamond at a good price. Based on price alone, you can't beat deBebians. Moreover, because certain diamond certifications (i.e. EGL) can be rather loose and inconsistent in their grading, it's essential to have a trained professional take a look on your behalf to verify what you're getting is worthwhile. Maggie went the extra mile in this regard, taking the time to sort through a list of diamonds I was interested in seeing, and selecting the few that she felt were worth taking a look at. Every one she selected was beautiful and would've been worth purchasing, but she went the extra mile by meeting with us in person, answering all of our questions, and generally providing helpful, thoughtful advice about what to purchase. Dealing with Maggie was like going to see diamonds with a knowledgeable friend, rather than the sort of buyer-seller dynamic you'd expect from most retailers.

Overall, a fantastic experience. Very highly recommended.

I can't say enough positive things about Sam at DeBebians! He was very knowledgable and helpful during the entire ring development process. I placed my order in late September and asked him to have my rings ready by October 19th and he had them done today (9th). I went to pick them up this morning and I was blown away at the phenomenal job they did with both my rings! My rings are beautiful, but I LOVE my engagement ring! It's amazing and I've already received many compliments on the my ring. Sam was amazing; he provided such awesome customer service throughout the entire process and I felt I could trust his expertise.

We had looked all over trying to find exactly what I wanted (a 1.0 - 1.3 ct center oval diamond with a square halo which would total somewhere around 2.0 - 2.25 carats). Every jeweler looked at me like I had three heads, becuase traditionally, a cushion cut diamond is used for that halo.

We are from Ohio and since we couldnt get all the components to match up (carat weight, price, etc, we even went to New York's diamond district and still came away empty handed. Then we discovered Debebians, but of course there was the concern over buying something so pricey over the internet.

Well, I'm pleased to say that I am wearing a 2.17 carat ring with an oval diamond center & square halo thanks to DEBEBIANS! Maggie is such a joy to work with. She looked high and low until show found the perfect diamond for the setting! And Sam is a GEM (no pun intended), because he went back and forth on the CAD until it met with our requirements.

I am elated & overjoyed!!! I just couldn't be happier with the way this turned out. I gasp EVERYTIME I look at it; it's so beautiful that it
takes my breath away. We took the ring to a local jeweler for an appraisal for insurance purposes. He was in complete disbelief when he was told what the ring was purchased for.

I will recommend DEBEBIANS to anyone looking for an engagement ring!

Excellent service and less than half the price of Bond Street. (I needed to replace a 0.4ct D IF diamond earring and was quoted around £4k by De Beers, Tiffany and Asprey. I paid £1,825 with shipping, tax etc).

The staff were incredibly helpful. When I suggested buying one for more than the one I eventually got, Maggie (the lady on the phone) suggested that I should go for a different one as the small amount of fluorescence would ruin it - something I wasn't aware of.)

Likewise, she made sure I got Excellent for cut, polish and symmetry when I suggested a bigger and more expensive stone which wasn't as good.

I'm so chuffed with the final product.

She also suggested a three prong as opposed to four prong holder - highly recommended; much, much better - and a screw backing.

She told me to check with import taxes before I placed the order as some French guy wasn't aware you had to pay VAT on imports from outside the E.U. She held the stone for me while I checked this out the next day.

(For the record, import to the UK was 23% - 2.5% import duty and 20% VAT).

So brilliant service - at least as good as De Beers and a damn site better than Tiffany. And less than half the price.

Let me start by saying at first I was a little hesitant about purchasing an engagement ring online. If this is a concern of yours, then let it be no more...simply work with Maggie and/or Sam, and I can't imagine having a better experience (or product).

First, I researched for MONTHS the exact diamond I wanted. They got it for me. Then, I designed the ring, custom, over the phone. I sent photos, they sent me back computer images, and we refined it from there.

The final product was unique, classy, simple and absolutely perfect. My wife gets comments on this ring daily...it's absolutely stunning. They were able to customize the engagement ring to exactly what I wanted. I was hoping it would come in close to what I was envisioning...and in fact they exceeded my greatest expectations. This ring has the "wow-factor", and it's because Debebians asked all the right questions, and knew exactly what I wanted, and delivered on what they said they would do.

I would never shop for jewelry anywhere else. We ended up getting my wedding band from them as well, and they customized the weight of this as well, and it was perfect as well.

The customer service by Sam and Maggie is beyond reproach. I was a very high-maintenance customer. All my phone calls were returned promptly (on the few occasions when they were unable to take my calls), and always with a "smile" in their voice.

To sum up, the stressful experience of making such a significant purchase was made easy by Sam and Maggie...in fact, they made it fun, and then provided the best reward. A TOP-NOTCH, WOW-FACTOR, custom-made ring that is nothing short of amazing. I would give them more stars that what is allowed if this site let me. Go with Sam and Emily at Debebians, and you will not have a better experience or product.

Debebians is as good (or should I say “as GREAT!”) as it gets! Being a typical engineering nerd, I gave them what they admitted as being their most complex design by far and they delivered the most outstanding results. My ring had 4 different pieces that had to be soldered together to create a multi-dimensional carved flower pattern while being able to accommodate a huge center stone on top. The ring’s setting alone had over 250 stones which involved pave stone setting, as well as a filigree pattern on the ends of each of the petals and diamonds below them. I was a little reluctant at first because I had only dealt with them over the phone and had no way of meeting them in person without having to fly to CA from the east coast. But, I did a lot of research on them online where I read wonderful reviews about them and Sam gave me so much assurance about their capabilities that I decided to give them a shot.
I first “tested” them by buying an engraved, partially brushed platinum band for my husband and he beat every deal on the planet for it! When the ring arrived, it was perfect! I then decided to give them my custom ring order with just pictures of the ring from different angles. Sam and I must have gone back and forth at least a DOZEN times if not MORE (I am NOT exaggerating here at all!), making modifications to the CAD design with their engineers to get even the minutest details right from all possible angles, until he finally got the perfect design approved by me. Then, poor Sam kept calling me repeatedly to assure me that they were right on track with the manufacturing process and that I would love it once I see it, while I waited nervously for it. When the ring arrived, my jaw dropped in awe as the ring was breathtakingly gorgeous! It was EXACTLY what I had pictured if not better! I was absolutely amazed at the amount of details they got impeccably right just based on phone conversations and email exchanges. But, unfortunately it was a little snug (my mistake entirely!) so I had to send it to them for resizing. They not only resized it perfectly without affecting the delicate design in anyway but agreed to do so free of cost! I couldn’t ask for anything better.
Thank you so much Sam for being so patient with me. The ring is absolutely extraordinary and I owe it all to you and your team at Debebians! I would also like to make a special mention to Jaclyn as well for being really wonderful in all of her communications with me and her incredible customer service throughout my ring resizing effort.

Originally I was looking into getting a ring from Eternity Diamonds but I was very disappointed with their false advertisement and the way they treated me. So I began looking into other sellers, and right when I was close to placing an order through another seller, I came across DeBebians and something told me to give it a shot.

This is a follow-up to my review originally submitted directly to deBebians. My overall experience with www.DeBebians.com was excellent. I ordered a GIA certified platinum 5 stone ring w/ round diamonds (1.00 cttw).

At first I was a bit nervous, as my "order status" hadn't changed after 24 hours. A quick call alleviated my concerns, and actually provided a pleasant surprise: 0.20 ct GIA certified diamonds are difficult to come by, so my ring would actually be 1.16 cttw. My ring arrived within the quoted 7 to 10 day timeframe.

The cut of the diamonds is simply amazing. The sparkle in direct sunlight is blinding. The polish on the platinum is brilliant. Needless to say, the ring is simply stunning. I shopped locally and found the pricing and product nowhere compared to what I received from www.DeBebians.com. I would definitely recommend www.DeBebians.com for 5 stone rings!

This was a gift to my wife for our 10-year anniversary. While that day has long since past, my wife is still absolutely thrilled with her ring. Their size range is much broader than many other stores that sell tungsten wedding rings like we wanted. Most only had sizes 6 through 12, and Debebian was willing to make the 4.5 and 16 we needed if necessary but ended up having them available right away when they checked. We got them in less than a week!

After the attempt to get wedding bands made by a family friend turned out to be a disaster we went online hoping to do the impossible: to find what we needed good, fast, and cheap (of course we all know that usually you can have any *two* of those) and found all three in the products and excellent service of DEBEBIANS.COM.
With nine days to go before the wedding they were able to make and size a BEAUTIFUL ring set (style HHJB901D on their site) and even changed out one of the diamonds on each ring for an emerald which we wanted because we met during a study abroad program in Ireland! Best of all, even though they are a worldwide online store, since we happen to live in Huntington Beach they let my husband come to their headquarter office in Los Angeles to get our rings.

I bought my husband's wedding band from Debebian's online. They ship in about 3 days by free fed ex ground, and the prices are about 1/8 of what you would spend in a jewelry store. We bought a tungsten band (twice...), and were able to chose from literally hundreds of styles. My husband accidentally flung his ring in a river while fishing, and ordering the replacement was just as easy as ordering the first one. Plus the affordable price made it less of a big deal that he threw his ring in a river. :) Highly recommend this site, especially for men's bands because of the huge selection and great prices.

I didn't know what to make of deBebians when I first looked them up. I decided to just swing by their Los Angeles store and see how it went. Sam was AWESOME. He was incredibly helpful and willing to work with our very short (2 week) timeline, and there was no hard sell. In fact, he spent as much time as we needed (even though he was hugely busy, given the holiday season) and didn't seem to care one way or another if we bought anything from him. In the end, they not only made me a custom ring, but did it 3 days quicker than needed and express shipped it to me. I cannot say anything bad about deBebians. They were incredibly good to me. Their custom tungsten rings take about three months to come in from the manufacturer so order sooner rather than later if you need to make a change to a design or get a size outside of their usual range. The work is very nice despite the wait!

Nice jewelry, nice people, and our black ceramic wedding bands looked awesome. They even steered us away from black tungsten after I mentioned my husband is a mechanic because apparently the black can come off. Ceramic is black all through so we decided to go with that. Very honest! The girl who took my order (Kelly?) was so friendly and really knew the products.

I took off half a star for "flexibility" because they made my custom ring exactly how I wanted it BUT it took about three months. This was the maximum time quoted me when I ordered so I knew what I was getting into but I wish it had been faster! Hope theyt can make it faster in the future, I will buy again!

I ordered a setting by itself to reset my existing diamond...after shopping around at local jewellers and mall jewellery stores, I couldn't find anything I liked in my budget. I was able to get the exact ring I had in mind for the exact amount of money I planned to spend. Amazing! The time frame on the website said 5-8 business days and mine did take 12 business days, but they happily upgraded me to overnight shipping to help me get the ring in time for an event I wanted to wear it to. Maggie was the name of the lady who helped me through the process from CAD drawing approval to updates on the progress my ring was making, she was great and very happy to help. The ring is gorgeous, I was SO NERVOUS to order a ring online without touching it and trying it on, but it is perfect and I can't stop staring at it!
I would suggest this to anyone wanting to buy a ring online: go to your local jewellers and try things on and see what you like...then go to Debebians.com and find a similar ring for half the price! I will likely order from them again :)

I went back and forth with these guys a lot because I am a meticulous mechanical engineer who used 3-D CAD to design my own custom men's wedding band with varying luster and a variety of small stones. They had their limitations, but were very up-front with their confidence level in achieving the design. Eventually we were able to jointly come up with the exact dimensions, features, and shade and size of stones which would fulfill my artful vision without taxing their resources and abilities beyond reason. In the end, they were a little nervous but I told them to give it a go anyway. The ring arrived in time for the wedding and looked better than I imagined; however, one of the 5 stones was cracked. Instead of having to send it back, by sales rep told me he was nervous about how brittle the ring is and that any repair attempts could make things worse, so he ordered another ring as a replacement and let me keep the one I had. That was one hell of a deal! So, I used the first ring for the wedding and by the time I came back from the honeymoon, the new ring was waiting for me at home. A few months later I asked for an appraisal for both rings and they are being sent out to me within a few days so I can properly insure the rings. Trying these guys out is what some people would consider risky, but I would consider it smart. Nobody else had the technical capability to make a custom Tungsten Carbide ring like mine, and the price was PHENOMENAL. Three times less than I expected to pay, and I got TWO rings (albeit, one damaged) because of their over-the-top customer service! I will definitely go to these guys again in the future for any custom jobs, but I will try to be less of a pain in the rear. Hahaha.

Their lifetime guarantee policy may not be ideal, but it is true that it's posted on their site for anyone to read before ordering, and the representative I placed my phone order with truthfully explained the deductibles when I asked and told me where to find it in writing on the website, before she got my card number. This is not a place that will lie to get your order. My husband has been losing weight and when he needed a new size for his tungsten wedding ring, we were able to get it replaced for $30 and a $15 process/ship fee...not free but not too bad a deal. Better than buying a whole new $100+ ring for sure! My main issue was it took them a while to respond to e-mails about the ring I sent back but by phone they are good to deal with.

I actually ordered my husbands replacement ring from deBebians.com. We have been married since April of 2009 and he lost his ring so I wanted to surprise him. The original ring we bought was from TJMaxx and we only paid $30something bucks but after looking everywhere, when he saw it he loved it! Well it is gone and if you know the way TJMaxx works you have to snag it before its gone because you may never see it again, and not anywhere near the price. Well anyway, we looked online to find the same ring and finally found it on deBebians with an original price of $500 and on sale for $119. Since we got away with a steal the first time I considered this very lucky and an unbeatable price for a second chance at having the perfect ring.
I ordered the ring because I was so excited and did not read any reviews on the site. After ordering, I received my confirmation email and it had no tracking number and my first reaction was "oh crap!" - please don't let these people screw me over! So THEN I went and looked for reviews online and came across this site. Where some of the comments were not too happy and it sounded like they had a BAD experience with them ...starting with no tracking number!! Well I called the contact number and it sounds like its just some girl at a counter at a department store (don't know how big an operation they are but judging from their building that I looked at online they seem big - they really need to take their online customer service more seriously and professionally). Anyway, I got the same response as the scary review I read and they said they would call me back in a little while. I asked "today?" and she said probably 30 minutes - this is not the best customer service... I am really concerned now. Well as you may have guess they did not call back so I called them again and told them I was to receive a call back and hadn't. She then proceeded to "look it up" (this is 3 days after I placed my order) and said that it had not shipped yet and she did not know what the delay was, probably the engraving - which the site says does not delay your order - by the way. On the site when they say ships in 2-3 days they mean it leave their place - FYI. ANYWAY - the ring actually did get shipped and I got another email with a tracking number and then could follow on old reliable FedEx and I felt much more at ease. Needless to say and echoing what others have reported - it takes at least 10 days to receive your order. Don't know what the deal is with this company but they need to get a handle on their professionalism or they are going to lose sales that I guess they can afford to lose. I would probably order from them again just because the prices can't be beat - but not really impressed with the way they handle things.

My ring (groom) came from DeBebians, and I am not happy. I chose Tungsten because I wanted a ring that would look exactly the same 60 years from now as it did the day we got married. Browsing DeBebians website, I found a really awesome looking Tungsten ring with Carbon Fiber inlay that I loved but I was really hesitant about because I assumed the center section with the Carbon Fiber would scratch just like gold or some other surface. So when my wife was ordering the ring she asked a couple of times before placing the order if the center section would scratch or if we needed to keep looking for one that would be completely scratch proof. The man reassured her that it would not scratch. Furthermore, she told him that I was a size 8 in normal rings, but the band we were purchasing was comfort fit and wanted to know if that made a difference. He told her to go down to a size 7.5, which we did. We got the ring and it looked exactly like I wanted it to. I tried in on once 4 months before the wedding to make sure it fit, and it was tight but I assumed they were supposed to be (I've never worn a correctly sized ring before - only one that was too large for a couple of months until I got tired of it falling off). So the ceremony comes around and it was outdoors, and my wife couldn't get the ring on my finger (because of the heat and nerves I'm sure) but I helped her and that was fine. Then, not more than 2 weeks later, I notice a scratch on the center section of the ring and investigate to find out that it is not even glass, but some gelatin-like substance that you can push on and make an indentation. I consulted DeBebians website and only the Tungsten (not the inlay) is under the lifetime guarantee, and we're long past the date to change the size. All of that being said, I do not blame DeBebians for the unfortunate events (except to the extent that we were told the inlay would not scratch) because common sense should have dictated that the ring was not solid tungsten and thus would scratch. Also, several jewelers told me that I should go down to a 7.5 until I finally found one that actually has comfort fit sizing tools (Rogers and Hollands in the Water Tower place on Michigan Ave, Chicago) and LO! I'm an 8! But I am ordering another (solid) tungsten ring from DeBebians because of the sheer value for cost. It is 1/4 of what you will pay at a jewelry store. BE WARNED however, inlays scratch, no matter what a salesman tells you, and get your finger sized with comfort fit tools before ordering, everyone tells you to go down a half-size (which I assume some people do have to do) but that is not always the case.

I was at first excited to find this website with a great selection of rings. However, the quality of these rings is poor and the lifetime guarantee actually requires a deductible if the ring breaks.

We purchased my husband's wedding band from deBebians and less than a year later the ring got a chip, cracked, and the color started to come off.

When I called to get the ring replaced the customer service agent was disrespectful and unprofessional. Although she acknowledged that the ring should not have been chipped or cracked, she told me that I would have to pay $50 plus shipping and handling there and back to get the same ring again.

When I told her that I was disappointed with the quality, she insisted that I should feel lucky to be able to get this same ring for only $50. She was short, defensive, and completely unprofessional.

I am typically not the type of person to write a review but this was hands down the worst customer service experience of my life. I honestly could have purchased a ring at Claire's or the dollar store and had it last longer.

I recently bought a Black Enamel Inlay Tungsten ring as a wedding band for my fiancee. Let me start by saying the workmanship on the ring is good. However, it is a brushed(looks more like a flat gray) ring and is MUCH darker than it appears in their picture. One of the deciding factors to go with this company was because of the advertising "Lifetime Guarantee & Lifetime Ring Sizing on our Tungsten Carbide rings". Well...what a bunch of BS! I tried to have his ring re-sized as I thought they would do. NO, the customer services Rep. told me "we don't re-size Tungsten rings" "It is what it is". If I wanted a new ring size it would cost me $30 for "a whole new ring" and an addition $19.99 to have it re-engraved PLUS shipping and Handling. So yea they have "life time Ring sizing BUT it will cost you! So, needless to say I'm stuck with a ring that can't be worn. False Advertising! should have went with a different company all together. Hope you do!

I was so excited when I found EXACTLY what I was looking for on the deBebians site. I contacted them immediately and explained that I'm from South Africa and would like to place an international order. Everything seemed to be perfect, I transferred the funds and waited for correspondence. Two weeks later, I was contacted by my bank stating that the funds had been returned. Confused, I got hold deBebians to enquire about the order status and was told that they "thought" my order looked fraudulent???? WHAT! I couldn't believe it, I asked on what grounds and was told it "looked" like fraud and they were not able to accept the order. You can only imagine the immense disappointment, disgust and humiliation I feel. I still can't believe I was treated with such disregard. I was prepared to send a copy of my passport and a letter from my bank stating that I am South African and have records to PROVE the funds had been saved over a number of YEARS!!. Are you sure you want to deal with a business of this integrity? What happened to "Innocent until proven guilty" ?

I purchased my fiances wedding band from DeBebians. Two tone 14K gold band. After 1 week of normal wear the ring was horribly scratched and the "white gold" began to flake off! After contacting the company they said they would be more than happy to polish it and dip it in rhodium coating. I was not happy and wanted a full refund even though I'm past the 30 day return policy. I informed them that the description on their website states that the ring is 14K white/yellow gold NOT yellow gold with a rhodium plating to look like white gold. Again I was refused a refund and they stated they'd be more than happy to take the ring back and try to restore it. My point is that I was not under the impression I was buying a yellow gold ring that had plating to appear as if there was white gold. I am HUGELY DISSAPOINTED. I just want a refund because if I had none that the two tone effect was achieved by plating and would RUB off - because now the ring is entirely YELLOW gold. I would NOT have purchased it.

During the first week of September, while shopping at a store in Orlando I found Tungsten. It was in a small Mom and Pop Jewelry store. Being the savvy technical 21st century young man that I am I immediately went home that night to see what I could find on the internet of similar make and design. I was very surprised when I found something I liked a little more at Debebians.com.
I spoke with my wife and we decided to order the ring we saw which was less then half the price of the one in that Mom and Pop shop. I received the ring about a week later and it was beautiful. We have been married for 2 years now and I hadnt worn a ring, partly because money was tight but mainly because I didnt know what exactly I wanted. I am a simple man and the simple and indestructible design that Tungsten offered was perfect for me.
As with most consumers I had done my research, found what I liked and having done business with Debebians.com (testing the company) I felt good about doing more business with them.
On the 13th day of September my wife decided to order me a bracelet that I mentioned that I liked when we were browsing the rings. The bracelet matched the ring I had purchased and she thought it to be a great surprise. She received an email confirmation that the order was received but unlike the confirmation that we received when we ordered the ring a week earlier there was no tracking number or ship date included in this email. After a week of no communication my wife decided to call the customer service number. She was told that they were out of stock on the bracelet she had ordered but would send her a similar bracelet that was $10 less and she would be refunded the difference. When my wife asked why they didnt contact her prior to her call she was told that she was notified via email and it must have gotten caught in her spam filter. My wife recounted the message to me that night, I know the spam excuse to be inaccurate because all other email was received from Debebians.com but just in case we read thru her spam folder, we found nothing from Debebians.com. At any rate the situation was resolved and it would take another 7 days to receive the order.
On September 29th we received the bracelet we ordered on the 13th. My wife received the package while I was at work, upon opening the jewelry box she immediately noticed a link on the bracelet had separated and was loose in the box. When I got home my wife explained how the bracelet was received. Having been annoyed by her first experience with Debebians customer service she asked me to call.
I wish for the purpose of this letter I could remember the name of the woman that answered the phone at 6:21pm eastern standard time on the 29th of September. The options that she gave me were to send the bracelet back and after evaluation they would decide if they will send me another or she could give me a return number and when received we would be issued a credit on our Visa. Having had a bad experience with the shipping of this item I asked that she send me another bracelet and I would return this broken item to her in the same shipping container, I explained my wife was upset with this whole situation and I would like it resolved quickly. She said that she indeed was the person that had spoken to my wife on the telephone on the 19th and my wife didnt seem upset during that conversation. (Where I come from, this is unacceptable; calling a customer a liar is not the best way to create raving fans.) She explained that she was not authorized to do that and then proceeded to tell me that I am not a business owner but if I were I would understand that no business would send merchandise out without receiving payment for the merchandise. I then explained that I am a business owner, contrary to her observation, and I treat my clients as individuals and make judgments based on their unique situations furthermore I do everything within my power to satisfy my customers and retain their loyalty forever.

I must pause to explain, I was trained to serve and manage people in the Food and Beverage department at Walt Disney World. I am one of those people that think everyone should have to serve tables or tend bar at sometime in their life so that they are taught how to interact with customers and gain loyalty. I am thankful everyday to the people at Walt Disney for giving me the tools to be more successful then the average person. Unlike the philosophy taught to the staff and management of Debebians.com ,when I make mistakes I lose money.
But back to the conversation at hand
I then gave this woman an example of an online company Amazon.com and how they manage their returns. I was told that debebians.com is not amazon.com I then offered that she should not compare her employer to other online businesses if she didnt want to really be compared to them. She went on to say that she did not intend to argue with me, which was contrary to her excuses and tone. I told her we were merely having a conversation despite her attempts to excuse the problem I experienced as a customer and her inability to satisfy my need. Lastly she offered again to refund my money, at this time I told her I would like to give an opportunity to her manager to retain my business and gave her a number so he could contact me directly. I wish this was the end of this recount but alas Sam the manager of Debebians online is in fact my motivation for taking my valuable time to write this letter and share my experience with as many people as I can.
Sam called me at 8:02pm EST on the 29th of September. He quickly introduced himself and immediately asked me if I tampered with the bracelet, he then told me what he was going to do for me. Sam explained exactly what his employee explained at 6:21pm EST that same evening but went on to explain that I am the first person to call and complain about merchandise received in like6 months and.each item is screened by three quality assurance specialist prior to it being shipped . Sam explained further that he would pay for my shipping if his certified jeweler agreed that the item was defective but if it was tampered with he would know immediately and would not pay for shipping or repair the item. After eight minutes of Sam educating me on his return procedure, and explaining what would happen if his jeweler decided I tampered with this bracelet I was allowed to ask Sam a question. I had been waiting for this opportunity since he introduced himself, I asked why he found it important to explain what would happen if the bracelet was tampered with before I sent him the bracelet, especially since I am the first customer to have an issue with his merchandise in like six months and his only dealing with me to this point was one satisfactory transaction (being the ring we purchased a week prior). Sam explained it was a courtesy and then told me that he himself would tamper with an item if he received if it did not fit when he received it. I explained to Sam that I am not the kind of customer that would try to defraud a business and I take offense to his tone and insinuations. I explained that the purpose of this call was for him to save the face of his business and in that purpose he had miserably failed. I then told Sam that I would keep the bracelet that I had received and take it to a local jeweler to be fixed but consequently I would never do business with his company again and I would encourage anyone I come in contact with the same. This is the point at the conclusion of my call that I received an apology from Sam. Although I think Sam apologized out of embarrassment instead of sincerity it was an apology nonetheless and if my dealing with Debebians.com is any indication of how they run a business and value their clients I guess I should be happy that I even got a half hearted apology like that.
I am thankful only that my wife was not planning a wedding during this experience with Debebians.com. If she were I feel it would have added a tremendous amount of stress that might have ruined her wonderful day. I caution brides everywhere please be carful when dealing with this company. It might be better to rely on the Mom and Pop stores that might cost more but continue to treat their consumers with respect and dignity.
