DC Elopements made everything so quick and easy for us and took pretty much all the hard work out of it. All we had to do was get the marriage license and be there - they took care of the rest. Even our officiant, Kiana Hebron was amazing and so kind and made our ceremony so special. Major thanks to everyone on the team who was available to answer our questions even over the weekends and holidays.
They do offer some services that may not be needed for the price like their courier service but depending on the season, I can see the value.

So professional, helpful when questioned arose, great suggestions for small places to get married, and the officiant we had was so kind, wonderful, and compassionate about her duties. Perfect for an intimate ceremony

DCElopements Review
Working with DCElopements has been an incredible experience from start to finish. I have nothing but the highest praise for the officiant and the outstanding services they provide. With family members spread across the country and my fiancé facing medical challenges, I initially thought it would be impossible to create an event as breathtaking as this turned out to be.
The wedding was definitely unique, as I had never attended nor heard of an "online" wedding before this. But it was absolutely perfect. All of my family members were able to attend, the event was recorded, and most importantly, I was able to legally marry the love of my life.
The entire event was planned and arranged in just two weeks and was very reasonably priced. A special thanks to Mary, our officiant, for the beautiful ceremony. Overall, DCElopements made this a wonderful wedding experience.
Compared to a traditional elopement or "running off to Vegas", using DCElopements allowed my family to join in on the celebration and be a witness to me finally marrying my soulmate. Afterwards, they also assisted with providing the links to be able to change my name and other helpful information for after-the-fact.
This, by-far, was the best way to go for a wedding selection and I would highly recommend!

We had a really good experience with DC Elopment. We picked the Elopment
Experiences package C. Nicole, our contact, was super helpful and responsive.
We exchanged quite a lot of emails! She made the whole experience of preparing
for a small wedding (of little less then 20 people) enjoyable. We also got
copies of the wedding certificate apostilled for international reasons, and
it's a lot of paperwork that DC elopments did for us.
Rev Kiana, who married us, was very warm and kind; she found the right words,
and everybody was moved. The photographer, Denis, was fun and peppy. Tanya, who
did the hair and makeup, was friendly and skillful… and the bride looked great.

DC Elopements was incredible to work with. We wanted something simple and someone to do the bulk of the arranging work for us, and DC Elopements was perfect! They walked us though all of the steps, took care of the location permit and coordinating with the officiant and photographer. They were also incredibly supportive and flexible when a COVID diagnosis forced us to postpone. Rev. The Best Option for Long Distance Couples!
I was defeated when my fiancé didn’t get his visa to come to the states so that we could get married. After doing a little bit of research, I found DC Elopements. I was provided with step-by-step instructions and all of my questions were answered quickly. The process was so simple and convenient! Who knew!
I chose the Online Marriage License Signing package. We selected our date and were able to fill out and submit all the necessary paperwork online. After we received our marriage license online, we were introduced via email to our online officiant and confirmed all information.
The actual marriage license signing was simple and lasted about 15 minutes. Our officiant Glen Cook was awesome! Before our Zoom call ended, we received our digital marriage certificate and will receive our physical copy in the coming weeks. I definitely recommend this service to any couple looking to get married online!

We chose the simple signing package at union station. No exchanging of vows, no frills, just signing the marriage license at a coffee shop. We adored our reverend. She was professional, sweet and personable. However, we believe the $250 for this is too pricey. Literally $250 for 15 min… I suggest saving the $250 for a hotel stay or a nice dinner and get married via the DC officiant.

Last minute miracle
My husband and I finally had the chance to elope so we wanted to jump on the chance to do so and DC Elopements was literally the miracle we needed to make sure everything went smoothly. Nicole was so helpful and prompt with answering all of our questions and was able to arrange a virtual license signing for us that was quick and cute. Elopement Turned Wedding
We decided on an elopement early on due to ease of the package deal, but as the day got closer, DC Elopements (and especially Rev. Linda Sinagra-Smith) adjusted and helped us make all the accommodations to make it a fantastic elopement turned wedding. The DC Elopements company itself was prompt in replies and easy to deal with for us, as a cross-country couple! It was exactly what we hoped for - they took care of the marriage license over the phone and we had the marriage certificate mailed to us after the fact, without us ever having to set foot in a court house. We also loved the location of our elopement, the DC War Memorial, and are grateful that the process of obtaining a permit was taken care of without much effort from us.
Lastly but most importantly, Rev. Linda was truly special - we could not have asked for a better officiant, as she fit in so seamlessly with us and our family. She was extremely patient with our visions and she created time during the ceremony for our own vows and for our kids to be involved, which made that day all the more unforgettable. During the ceremony, she had some very thoughtful things to say about us that showed she really cared about us, took the time to understand our values, and wanted to wish us well. She is the sweetest and we could not be happier that DC Elopements led us to her. We love her and would highly recommend working with her!

There are no words to describe how much easier the process of getting married has been (being based outside of DC + during a pandemic) thanks to DC Elopements!! Nicole was super helpful from the very first email - she was very responsive, patient, understanding about our situation, and clear about everything, which helped us feel supported during the whole process. Rev. Kiana was equally incredible! We met her on the day of the wedding but she made us feel so comfortable right away, it felt as though we had met before! Going with DC Elopements was the best idea we had other thank cancelling our wedding and eloping! Nicole was amazing and helped us every step of the way. Made everything SO easy
My husband and I were a COVID couple: Got engaged on 12.31.19 and had begun the beginning stages of planning for our big wedding (we had the venue, the planner, photographer, florist) and then COVID hit, which made us reconsider everything. We decided we wanted to elope instead and do a casual celebration at a later date, when it would finally be safe to gather in large groups again. We wanted to make eloping as easy as possible, so we hired DC Elopements. They did that and more. They made everything as easy as possible, handled all the paperwork for us, and literally answered my email questions within minutes (even during evenings and on weekends). We couldn't be more pleased with our elopement (the ceremony was held at the DC War Memorial) and the officiant they set us up with was great, Rev. Jacob Polasky.

After cancelling our original wedding plans due to COVID, and travel restrictions in my home state, my fiancé and I were desperate to find an affordable, helpful option in the DMV area. From the very beginning, DC Elopements was absolutely wonderful to work with. Nicole is the nicest, so responsive, and so helpful. Ceremony of Our Dreams
If you're hesitating on working with DC Elopements for your ceremony, don't. Book them now! Nicole was an absolute dream to work with and made the whole process seamless. Any question, concern, or request was addressed with the utmost professionalism and promptness. We had our ceremony at the beautiful Tudor Place in DC (Elopement Package B), one of 4 locations that we visited pre-pandemic. Amy at the Tudor Place was also incredible - she walked us through the premises and answered every single question we had. When the ceremony day came and rain was in the forecast, she gave us the option to move to the portico. We are so glad she did! Thankfully it didn't rain but the location was even better than the one we had booked. Amy also set up the area with a small table with white linens where we could set up our champagne toast station, and set up 6 white rustic chairs for our small group of guests. It was stunning! She also mentioned picture-friendly white umbrellas would be available if need be! In case you're wondering about Covid preparedness - everyone wore a mask and maintained social distance. It made our ceremony that much more relaxing to know everyone was on the same page. Kiana, our officiant, was absolutely incredible!! She made our small ceremony so very special with her beautiful, kind words. She's also so damn cool! We wanted to become besties with her after the ceremony! Denis, our photographer, was also a dream to work with. My partner and I are known to be a little awkward when it comes to being subjects for pictures, but he eased us in and made the process fun. He's also pretty funny! Thank you, Nicole, Amy, Kiana, and Denis, for a magical experience.

I cannot say enough about Rev. Kiana, who made our ceremony so exceptional! We immediately clicked with her, and she took the time and care to make the ceremony everything we could have possibly wanted from start to finish. We had been engaged for awhile. Due to COVID-19 we wanted to actually move our wedding from a plan to reality. I contacted DC Elopements on Saturday and by the following Saturday they had our license, officiant and photographer ready. Our officiant, Rev. Amazing ceremony
I am in complete amazement with the entire package! Everything was beautifully handled from start to finish. The venue was stunning, the responsiveness to inquiries was immediate, the officiant was unbelievable (professional and made profound comments) and the flowers and makeup were perfect!
We literally just showed up! Every last detail was managed. It was beyond my expectations! If you want a sophisticated and elegant ceremony with the blink of an eye I would highly recommend DC Elopements! You won’t be disappointed.

Everything went smoothly. From the initial inquiry to the special day. Very professional and responsive. Nicole was very responsive with every question I had as well as Laura. Even the last minute change was accommodated with no problem. Reverend Kiana was very professional and down to earth. I didn’t want to do anything traditional or spend a-lot of Unnecessary money and DC Elopements was the way to go. I highly recommend.

DC Elopements was everything & more than they advertise. They were organized, communicative & reliable...all the things you want when dealing with planning a wedding. And really kind and responsive too. Everyone we worked with was awesome & did a great job. Nicole answered all of my questions and was really patient. Stress Free Experience
DC Elopements makes the whole experience easy & stress free. They take care of all the details and all you need to do is show up. Our officiant Rev. Kiana was delightful! We will always remember our DC wedding with fondness! DC War memorial was a very peaceful & beautiful venue. We found street parking close by. We got lucky on our wedding day. We enjoyed strolling thru the monuments after the ceremony. DC Elopements answers all your questions along the way and has 5 star customer service from beginning to end .

Exceptional Service and Experience!
This is go to one-stop shop for elopements and small weddings.
We wanted a very small and intimate wedding and found DC Elopements after a google search. The team regularly updated me on the plans and answered questions quickly. That were very personable and professional and it was easy to trust them. I am so glad we chose them. My stress level was low and we and our guest were able to enjoy the day.

Highly Recommend - would not have done this any other way!
DC Elopements was perfectly for what my husband and I were looking for. We chose Simple Elopements Package C which gave us our wonderful Rev. Kiana Hebron (also highly recommend), marriage license by proxy service, and marriage license certified copy service, and they even shared a list of ceremony location ideas with us. We ended up going to the DC War Memorial. We are glad we chose this package because I did not want to waste multiple days getting our marriage certificate! Outsource when you can :) Kiana was available to chat with me before the ceremony so that I could ensure that she knew how to pronounce my name correctly. The ceremony was beautiful - we chose the option to have our own vows and the traditional vows (religious) afterwards. DC Elopements can adapt to your needs and you can choose from Secular or Religious ceremony. Everything worked out well with this from the very first intake call with Nicole to the ceremony. I am so grateful that a company like this exists.

Easy Officiant/Paperwork Service for Small Weddings!
We learned about DC Elopements through our Ceremony Venue (Tudor Place), and we are so glad we used their services! DC Elopements primarily helps wedding planning for short-term elopements, but they also worked out great for our fairly quickly planned, small wedding. We chose the simple elopements B package, which includes an officiant for the wedding ceremony as well as processing the marriage license application (saving us a trip to the court). Our officiant, Rev. Kiana, was completely wonderful and personalized our ceremony for us, even if it was a short civil service. I would highly recommend DC Elopements for anyone planning a small wedding in the DC area!!

We are so happy we found this company, the officiant and the photographer were wonderful. The officiant’s sermon was meaningful and special, she had our small gathering of guests crying happy tears. The photographer was so professional. I would totally recommend this company, they made everything so easy and stress free.

Amazing from start to finish!
My now husband and I live in Asia and our families live in Europe and America. DC Elopements was the perfect option for us as planning from abroad isn’t easy! Our ceremony was absolutely perfect - our photographer and officiant were both amazing. We chose the package that included hair, makeup and flowers and couldn’t be happier. The communication from far away was smooth and helpful. We can find no fault in our experience and would highly recommend DC Elopements to anyone who is looking for a stress free, low cost, romantic wedding!
