My 3-days wedding weekend would not have been possible without Teresa and her talented DC Elite Image team. My biggest thank you to Teresa, Phrenchie, Sharon, Katrina, Karina, Victoria, and Melissa for your flexibility and artistic talent! Teresa and Phrenchie were flexible with doing my trial wedding hair/makeup in both Washington DC and southern California, a few months before the wedding. During the wedding weekend, the team travelled to 3 different locations to assist us with getting ready for 4 events over 3 days (including 2 back-to-back days of starting at 4-5 AM). They brought energy, optimism, big smiles, calming presence, an absolute hair and makeup magic! Teresa and Sharon's bridal makeup looks were perfection, enhanced my monolid eyes, was 100% sweat and waterproof (even in 90-degrees weather). Phrenchie and Katrina were delightful to work with, and they created the most beautiful textured updo, voluminous waves, Rapunzel braid, and Hollywood curls. I had so much fun with the artists in creating my different looks for the 4 events, which ranged from natural romantic to whimsical to Hollywood glam. I truly can’t say enough about Teresa and her team at DC Elite Image. From coordinating logistics and scheduling the trial to the wedding day itself, everything was seamless and so easy. They are extremely professional but also warm and fun to be around, which made the entire experience feel relaxed and special.
One thing I highly recommend to brides is doing a trial. Even with an incredibly talented team, it’s so helpful to refine the look based on your personal preferences and Teresa and Phrenchie were amazing at listening/adjusting. They really took the time to understand my style and the overall vibe I wanted.
On the wedding day, they brought such a calm, positive energy that set the tone for the whole morning. Teresa and Phrenchie truly worked their magic and I’ve honestly never felt so beautiful, while still feeling completely like myself, just elevated. Walking into my wedding feeling that confident was such a gift.

Viva Las Vegas!
Teresa was my makeup artist for my first wedding in Las Vegas at the Elvis Chapel. She kept with the theme and glammed me up!! My look was perfect and lasted from the ceremony, to photos in Red Rock Canyon, all the way through to dinner. She even gifted me my lip color which is my new fav! I highly recommend her. -

Sharon was my makeup artist for my second wedding in DC. She came to my house and did my makeup while my hair was being done. She did a softer yet glam look that suited the vibe perfectly. I cannot recommend working with DC Elite Image enough! From the beginning of the planning process, their team and Melissa specifically were fantastic to work with. She walked me through the pricing structure and options and worked with me to determine what was best for my wedding and bridal party. Sharon and Frenchie were incredible both during my trial and on my wedding day. They listened to all my hair and makeup preferences, gave me tips to prep for the day (even helping me pick extensions to buy), and went above and beyond in every way. My makeup was flawless, glowing, and held all night, and my hair extensions were comfortable and so natural. I truly don’t think I could have felt more beautiful on the day and I cannot thank them enough for their work! I am an Indian bride and I worked with Phrenchie (Hair) and Angie (Makeup) for all 3 of my Indian wedding event looks; the extended DC Elite team also did hair and makeup for my Mom and my 5 bridesmaids.
I first worked with DC Elite as a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding in 2022. Phrenchie did my hair then, and I remember feeling so seen as she worked with my naturally curly hair to create a beautiful updo. In the past, if I’d had my hair done as a bridesmaid, the stylist would first straighten it to be able to style it; Phrenchie embraced my hair texture and created a stunning, natural look.
Fast forward to planning for my own wedding and remembering my past experience with Phrenchie and DC Elite, I made sure to seek them out and hire them right away! Both Phrenchie and Angie worked with me to create gorgeous, natural looks. I felt confident in all 3 of my styles and received so many compliments throughout the weekend. Most importantly, I felt like “me”! The two of them (and the larger team) are adept at creating hairstyles and makeup looks across diverse hair types, skin types, and features.
Throughout the weekend, Phrenchie and Angie were a fun and calming presence for me. They were flexible and understanding with hiccups/small delays in the schedule and extremely professional. My bridesmaids and I had such a blast with them and the larger team when getting ready the morning of the wedding ceremony, and in the end, everything went flawlessly.

I'm so thrilled that I trusted the DC Elite Image team with my hair and makeup for my wedding! Phrenchie and Angie were both so kind and helpful, and made me feel so beautiful and comfortable for the entire day! Despite me having no idea what I was really looking for when we first met for the trial look, they both made me feel like an elevated version of myself, and my hair and makeup looked great all day long through all of DC's classic late-summer humidity. First of all, it was a great experience working with Melissa, the team's coordinator. She was so responsive and communicative through everything. I ended up doing a couple different hair & makeup trials to get the exact look I was aiming for and she was amazing with setting everything up for me. The hairstylists Katrina & Karina were great. I needed a tattoo covered and their specialist Angie was able to do that for me - she did such a great job! And Teresa is INCREDIBLE with makeup. I had a really bad cyctic acne flare on the morning of the wedding (of course). But it didn't matter at all - she covered everything up perfectly and even gave me a face mask treatment before putting on makeup. Also, I've had so many bad experiences in the past with professional makeup being way too much. Teresa did a great job putting together a natural bridal look for me that made me feel so gorgeous. I had Angie for makeup and Phrenchie for hair – they were professional, prompt, knowledgeable, respectful and warm. I’d say generally they did a good job incorporating my suggestions and being responsive to my needs, but as always with hair and makeup, folks tend to gravitate towards their own vision and towards what they know how to execute. I’m happy I had a trial, because the makeup had to be considerably toned down for the actual wedding, despite both Angie and Phrenchie trying to convince me that the initial iteration was necessary for the makeup to be visible in photos. In person, it looked like I had a mask on. Having the experience of several years of modeling, I was confident that a more subtle and elegant makeup would still be visible in photos, which ended up being the case, but I felt I had to overcome a bit of resistance, including on the day of the event. The trial was also a bit rushed for the makeup, resulting in some areas where the foundation looked cakey or uneven. I also wasn’t impressed with the brows, so asked that Angie use my pencil on the day of the actual wedding, which she did, to a much better result. I thought my hair looked better for the actual trial than for the wedding, but Phrenchie did her best to incorporate my suggestions and managed to work in a very tight space, given that my photographers had set up shop almost everywhere there was natural light in the room. My mother’s French twist was also set a little lower than I had showed in example photographs, but overall it looked very nice. Melissa, the office manager, was also very helpful throughout the process, and assuaged my hygiene-related fears. She didn’t, however, go into any detail about their cleaning procedures or other protocols, unlike other makeup and hair companies I researched for the wedding. I always tend to think more information is better, but I understand that time is precious. All in all, I would recommend them, but make sure you communicate very clearly about your preferences and expectations throughout the process, bring photos as examples and definitely have a trial if you want to ensure you get the result you want! -

Very experienced and really took their time to ensure that I was 100% with the looks of both. Celthia did a great job listening to me while providing great feedback at my trial and Jacqui invited me in for a complimentary blow out the day before my wedding - which was perfect for me to be able to have my hair done for my Rehearsal dinner while also ensuring it was prepped for the next day. I chose Teresa as my wedding MUA because I saw all the amazing modeling and makeup pictures she shared on her instagram and I knew a beautiful woman like her would have good taste. I wanted American-style makeup that fits my Asian features, which is really hard to find in D.C., but Teresa did it for me! She was so nice and professional through out the whole process. We did a trial and I told her what I’d like to change later and she listened to me patiently. On the wedding day, she arrived on time at my hotel room and brought her own makeup light. I can’t say enough good things about her gorgeous taste and outstanding makeup techniques. Teresa from DC Elite image was a joy to work with. She's a complete pro at what she does - incredibly talented and creative with lots of experience and expertise. I had the opportunity to work with her on both my wedding day and bridal portrait makeup following the wedding. For both photoshoots, she gave me a look that felt very much like me, just glammed up a bit, and they came out wonderfully in the photos. What was a deciding factor in my choice to work with her was that Teresa has a lot of experience working in different industries and for different photo settings. She can therefore tailor makeup appropriately. I also appreciate that my makeup didn't look overdone or feel heavy. I didn't feel like I was wearing a makeup mask and it lasted throughout the day and evening. Also, my fake lashes looked natural in the photos and felt very comfortable - I've had them applied before when they didn't look or feel like that. Teresa chose the right lashes for me and applied them perfectly.
Teresa was completely professional to work with. Prior to booking with her, she was willing to chat with me on the phone and answer my questions. The only challenge to working with her is that she frequently travels between Los Angeles and Washington, DC, so you may be limited in when to schedule trials and what not. But, she's totally worth it. My bridesmaids were also very happy with the makeup she did for them on the my wedding day.

I used DC Elite to do both hair and make up for the bridal party which included a range from flower girl to mother of the groom. They were able to cover a wide variety of style requests for the group and did a great job on all the down and up dos and makeup that looked natural yet also dramatic enough to photograph well! I did a trial in advance for hair and make up which went great and help focus my vision for the actual wedding day. She was very quick to respond to me and very flexible as my numbers for makeup were ever growing. As someone who is generally very shy and reserved, I really appreciated how sweet and friendly Teresa was; she put me right at ease at my makeup trial and helped me to feel confident that she was the right person for the job. Day of, she did not disappoint, she showed up early, set up and got right to work on my bridal party, making each look absolutely amazing. One of my bridesmaids had gotten married 3 weeks prior and kept saying how she wished she had hired Teresa for her wedding, she hadn't ever felt so beautiful. When it came time to do my makeup she was so calm, not rushing to get me ready or anything (which was soo refreshing and calming to me as well) and so sweet to me when i kept opening my eyes, before my liner dried, and ruining my makeup, leaving her to continue to fix my makeup over and over (lol). Teresa and her assistant made everyone look absolutely stunning and it was very affordable, which is VERY hard to come by in this area. Not only did her skills as a makeup artist prove to be excellent but I thoroughly enjoyed her company!
