Some of my bridesmaids used David's to get their dresses! They were super helpful and overly nice! Have used them before for weddings I've been in on the past as have always been amazing!

I got a great deal on very simple, classic invitations. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something people would throw away. I was happy with the product. I would encourage people to read the descriptions carefully though, as I didn't realize I was getting folded invitations. It worked out fine, but it wasn't what I envisioned when I ordered them.

I bought my invitations from DavidsBridal.com. They were beautiful and very affordable. The only problem was that the invitations did not come with directions and there are so many ettiquete rules to follow. My sister got married early the same year and her invitations came from a different online vendor and they were affordable but they came with great instructions. I had to spend a lot of time looking up how to assemble the invitations. Also, there is usually tissue paper that goes in the envelope and mine didn't come with that.

They were incredible. They were great to talk to over the phone and helped when I underestimated the number of invitations I needed. They didn't overcharge me for extras and were quick to ship them out. I certainly would recommend them for any future bride & groom.

The wedding invitations were beyond perfect! I loved the design and the color was all I hoped it would be. I loved how they gave you options of wording as well as leaving the option to create your own format.

I purchased my dress that was on sale for half price at Davids Bridal's online store. It arrived quickly and although it was big on me (it was marked a size 0 but still had to be taken in), it was beautiful and a hit after I had alteration done. Compared to many places, you can really snag a pretty good deal.

I got a beautiful dress and had it altered in less than 3 months. The very first dress I picked up turned out to be "the one". I made payments on a beautiful dress that was on sale and got the alterations in time for my wedding!

I had no intentions to purchase my dress from there. I had went with my ladies to look at dresses for them. As they were being helped, my sister says to me to try on dresses so I can get an idea of what I was looking for online. Needless to say I found the most flattering dress there. I am so happy that I chose to get it there instead of online. So many alterations to be done. I know I would not have been happy purchasing something on line. A Bride needs that special attention and if alterations need to be done, it definitley needs to be done by a professional.

Beautiful dresses that the girls looked great in. I did not hear any complaints other than one of the employees ordered the wrong size dress for my sister-in-law but thankfully she ordered early enough. I would say to order at least 6 months in advance, just in case something like that does happen.

I needed a plus sized dress appropriate for a beach wedding. After repeated disaster trips to boutiques, I resorted to dbonline. My dress was perfect! The size was exact. I took it to a David's Bridal store and had the straps shortened half an inch. Amazing!

David's bridal has an online bridal collection that is not available in the stores. The turn around time is fantastic. I ordered my dress online on a monday night and got it that friday by UPS. The prices are very reasonable.

I had the best experience when I went to David's! They worked with me after I bought my dress and had health problems that caused it to fit differently. They refunded it and helped me find a new one that I loved even more. Stephanie was my bridal consultant and she went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy! Because I bought my dress here, I was offered extra deals with their partner stores. We took them up on Men's Warehouse and the David's Bridal special for bridesmaids. It really helped my girls out since they were all in college!

After losing 25lbs between buying and the wedding, our bridal consultant spent 4hrs with my sister and I as we returned our old dress for the dress of my dreams. We didnt even break the bank thanks to her. My girls dresses were great and under budget with our party purchase discount. Highly recommend the Davids Bridal in Kennesaw.

We chose to hire a photographer through David's Bridal largely because they offered the option of receiving all the digital copies and rights to the photos at a good price. I haven't seen the photos yet so I can only comment on our experience with the photographer.

The photographer did a thorough job of understanding our preferences for photography style and the pictures we most wanted to have.

She was unobtrusive during ceremony and reception yet made sure to get all the shots we had specified. She was quick with the posed shots so we could return to our guests within an hour (our request - and my husband didn't want to see me until the ceremony so we chose not to have the posed photos taken before the ceremony). She was pleasant and professional.

Okay, I found my dress for half off and it was being discontinued and I had a 50 dollar off coupon, so needless to say I got a 1000 dollar dress for around 350! Great deal! You can find some great deals and the dress was beautiful, you could not tell it was from davids and everyone said it looked like a boutique dress. maybe i got lucky i dont know. the ladies who i worked with were great. however, they get you with extra charges if your not paying attention, like to have your dress steamed and they dont have the bustles on the dresses already because they know you will end up having to go their alterations people to have them sew those on......so just make sure you know what you are getting yourself into. my 350 dollar dress, add 40 to steam it, 100 something to add on bustles, the skirt under the dress another 50, bra/corset another 60 (from department store though)...you get the idea. but other than that it was alot of fun. just have fun when you are dress shopping, you only going to wear it one day!!!!

The only downfall is that they dont have a huge selection compared to some other online sites, but I was still able to find one that went with my colors. Also, if you buy your gown with them, you get a discount on invitations.

I bought my dress from David's Bridal in October. I was shocked about the amount of time it took to actually get in dresses. However, we had a super sweet sales woman and she knew how to handle us. One thing I would have liked better was if she would have been more firm. She allowed my flower girl who was with me to try on dresses at the same time as I did, even though I had said that I would prefer for her not to. I understand it wasn't her responsibility but was upset by this and nothing was done. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter in the end. I still have my dress and was extremely happy with how it turned out. The only thing that I was upset about was how much it actually cost to have alterations done. It was a significant amount of money.

We chose to buy our invitations from Davids Bridal so the invitations would be a perfect match with our wedding colors. The invitation design was beautiful but the print on the response cards was very small given the amount of space. Additionally several of our invitations had small smudges on them from the print. We had ordered several extra invitations so we were still able to send them out on time but it was definitely annoying having to go through and check every single invitation for imperfections.

Good Selection, Mediocre Staff
The Good: 1. Website with photos of all the dresses they carry (not sure why, but it seems DB is the only vendor showing the dresses they carry online. ) 2. Good selection of dresses in a range of popular and traditional styles 3. When you buy your dress here, you get a discount on all the bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses at DB 4. Alterations knows the dresses well and how to fit them to your body. The Not So Good: 1. Busy store. Depending on when you go, it can be hard to get the attention, or help from staff. 2. Staff don't really know much about their dresses - you'll find out more yourself by looking online. 3. Store doesn't carry every size. Only down to a size 2 (Dresses run big. I had to order a size 0, but I hadn't tried it on because the store doesn't stock that. The problem with ordering a size without trying it on is I wasn't sure if I needed Petite or not. Salesguy told me to order Petite, but that wouldn't have fit me because I'm 5'4" (too tall for Petite). Luckily the manager stepped in and explained I needed a 0 Regular. 4. Timing. You pay for the dress when you order, and they would have exchanged sizes, but it takes so long for your dress to come in (4 months), even though I was way ahead of time I didn't want to wait 8 months to get my dress.

We ordered personalized match books and napkins from davidsbridal.com. The colors of the napkins and the design was perfect, they look great! The matchbooks were nice, but the color was slightly off on the design coloring - I wish it matched the napkins better. But they looked good too!

I decided to get my wedding dress from David's for two reasons, cost and their national locations for my bridesmaids. If you are looking for a luxury experience and custom designer gown, this is not the place for you. Personally, I did not want to spend a fortune on a dress that I would only wear for a few hours one day. I much preferred puttin that money into a nicer ring that I would wear everyday for the rest of my life. A nice-looking dress that fit me well and lasted through one evening was all that I needed. My dress was a great value - $400 for a strapless taffeta dress with embellished bodice, pick-up skirt and chapel length train. I only needed a few alterations, but they quickly added up to almost $300, mostly because the best bustle for the pick-up skirt was complicated.

I also selected the bridesmaids' dresses from David's. Their dresses were not quite as much of a deal, and the alterations, especially for the junior bridesmaids, added up to as much as the dresses. But overall we were all happy with them.

I will say that David's clearly lures brides in with great deals on wedding gowns, but there are not many deals after that. Even the rewards coupons are not so great because they cannot be used on sale merchandise. And all sales are final for in-store purchases.

Everyone at the San Jose store was pleasant and helpful. My matron of honor had multiple major problems with the store in Madison, WI, but I will write a separate review for that store since these are by location. Just be forewarned that the quality of service may vary by location.

David's Bridal did my dress and veil both beautiful. The slip ripped but not really bad.
I also had to exchange my maid of honor dress at last minute. They exchanged it with no problems. They also dont need your receipt for an exchange. There are no returns though.

I love love loved my wedding dress! It was fabulous! I knew I was having a small wedding and though the dress is important I didn't want to spend too much.
I found a beautiful dress online. The ordering process was fast and easy. Online customer service wasn't as fast in response to questions as I think they should be.

My dress arrived within two weeks. It came with a slip for free press and steam and the ladies at David's Bridal cleaned it for me as well.
I was not a fan of shopping in store. They were busy and pushy.

Overall I was happy with my dress. The sales representative that helped me find my dress was great. She kept running around to find me dresses as I slowly came to understand what type of dress I wanted. It was a little on the expensive side, but I was quoted that the alterations would be about $150 so I decided that it wouldn't be too bad in the end.

Three alterations later, I spent over $300 to have it fitted, shortened, and bustled. I think that they overcharge for this, particularly the bustling which they were doing as I waited in the dressing room during my final fitting. The quality of the work was ok. They brought it in quite nicely but the bottom of the dress was uneven in the end (though they tried to convince me that it wasn't) and when everyone in the fitting area agreed, they finally brought it to the back room to fix.

I went to the Fashion District in LA with my mom a few weeks after I had found my dress and saw some dresses of equal quality for about half the price. I'm not sure that this is the way for everyone, but if you have the time I would definitely recommend shopping around before settling on a dress and their alterations department. I went with the David's Bridal alterations department because I wanted to have some security just in case the alterations went wrong, but I'm sure there are people that do higher quality work elsewhere.

I love that there is a discount bridal wear store out there for those folks who don't have the budget for a pricey dress. If that is you, this place is great.

I did a destination wedding with no guests; just my groom and myself and didn't want to spend a fortune on a dress. However, I did want to feel and look like I was wearing a wedding dress. I found just what I wanted without spending a lot of dough.

The lady who was head of alterations was not very friendly, which as a bride was sort of a downer for me. I think her personality reflected poorly on David's Bridal. I asked to make a slight change to a strap by removing this large chiffon flower on my shoulder (mind you, I am petite in stature and the flower was overpowering my small frame) and she cut me off completely with a lousy tone saying that they don't make any changes to the original design of the gown. WHAT? That's what you do with wedding dresses; you request bustle changes, you add hooks, you add buttons, you cut and alter the dress, you add sequins... etc. etc. What I was asking for was soooooooo minor in comparison to those I just mentioned it really turned me off to the customer service of the alterations dept of David's Bridal.

Overall experience was decent. If I had more time to find a dress, I would've gone elsewhere. But I wasn't engaged for very long and didn't have time to look around at other bridal shops. Because my dress was purchased at David's Bridal, we decided to use the discounts we were offered through David's to also get our invitations. I wanted to spend a minimal amount and personalize the invites myself, but didn't want to have to deal with making/printing each invitation. David's offered a few really reasonably priced options that were simple enough for my liking. In the end we were pleased both with the way the invites turned out and with the fact that we didn't drop a big chunk of money on something most people tossed in the trash shortly after receiving it!

I ordered my invitations and I got them promptly. However, about 20 of the invitations were printed upside down. Luckily I didnt need them, but if I did need them I wouldve just been out of luck. I think for the price I paid, something like that should not have happened.

I want to be 100% clear when I review this. This was the davidsbridal.com Invitations that I went with.
I found the perfect invitation online and ordered it from there. I was told I would get my proof within 7-10 business days and at the 13th business day I had to fight tooth and nail to get through customer service to find someone who could help me so that I finally could get my proof. Once I finally did, they had a few things wrong, so I made the changes and faxed them back. I never got a confirmation receipt of fax or a call or e-mail saying they had received my changes so I had to call again to make sure that they got them and I wasn't outside of my time limit. Really, don't go through an on-line service if you can help it. They did turn out beautifully, but it wasn't completely worth the hassle trying to get to the outcome.

David's Bridal Outlet online is an exceptional value. There are no returns on these items, but they state that upfront. The prices are so inexpensive that even if you don't wear the dress or order more than one dress, you're still not investing too terribly much money and could possibly re-sale the one you don't wear.

My only complaint is that once you're on their mailing list, you will receive emails DAILY. It's a little overkill. Unsubscribing went smoothly.

I ordered my invitations from David's Bridal. At first I was a bit skeptical since they aren't really known for their print services. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Their prices were a little bit better than other places that I looked and they have a decent selection. The paper quality was above average and the actual printing didn't have smudges, smears, etc. They did not charge extra for raised letters as most companies do and there was also a lot of fonts from which to choose.
The downfall of my experience though NONE of the pieces were assembled! I received a series of boxes and I had to find my own team to help put them together. Be sure to ask the assembly before ordering.

I got my dress off the $99 rack and was more than thrilled (it was a $950 dress). The quality of the dress was fantastic and I couldn't be happier. The girl helping up with fitting was very sweet but overwhelmes with the number of women the front desk had schedules with her at the same time.

Everything seems over priced to me but they did have many cute gifts and gimicky things at the register.

My issue is with the staff. You never talk to the same person, they took my dress in too much and told me it was tight because I gained wieght (I had actually LOST weight) and then they took it in even more when they tried to fix it. At visit number 4 they tried to tell me that I would "just have to live with the dress to small." Not until I went Bridezilla on them, did they become responsive. Alterations costes $400

Get your dress at Davids. DO NOT get your alterations at Davids.

I ordered engraved money clips for the groomsman, embroidered bags for the bridesmaids and engraved picture frames for the parents. I would have rather paid separate for engraving than get the barely scratched money clips I received. They spelled one of my bridemaid's name wrong and even spelled MY name wrong on the engraving for the picture frames. I called and after a week of waiting for them to verify that the mispellings were not a result of an error on my part, they resent the bag and frames. They said the engraving was supposed to be light and that they would not allow me to choose something of equal value to replace them. I was instead reassured that new money clips would be engraved and shipped. Well, they looked the same so I ended up ordering them all shot glasses to go with them because I was embarrassed to give such a cheap looking gift. Look elsewhere- you'll probably come out much cheaper.

service very unpersonal, really rude and bossy on the phone it is probably what you should expect from such a big store, sell sell sell. the value for money is good however if your budget is limited. there is no flexibility like exchange take a size smaller if you lost weight return the shoes if you have second thoughts...just forget about it! if you have friends in the rest of the country they can t either pick up their bridesmaid store at the local store!!!

I bought my dress and bridesmaids dresses at DB. While I had no issues with my dress. I felt rushed to choose. The woman helping me was also helping 3 other brides so she was constantly disappearing. I did not feel special or valued. For my bridesmaids dresses it was the same issue. The woman helping seemed like she had better other things to do and really made me feel like I had to rush my decision.

The real problem was that I was told that my bridesmaids would need to bring the dresses in 2 weeks before the wedding to be steamed. So one of my bridesmaids called at 2.5 weeks before the wedding to make a time to have the dress steamed. She was told that they would not be able to steam it until 3 weeks later! REALLY! I was super annoyed. Also, their bridesmaids dresses are not very good quality. One dress the zipper did not work correctly. The other was missing the clasp at the top of the zipper.

Overall I wouldn't go back.

I had 4 bridesmaids that complained on how they were treated here. I had to contact them on more than 3 occasions about what dresses I had chosen. 2 of my girls were given the wrong info on dresses. Overall, I would not refer anyone to deal with Davids Bridal in the future.

I got a dress on sale, which was great. My appointment consisted of the saleswoman paying attention to me- and another bride at the same time- when it was supposed to be all about me! She was not as attentive as i would have liked. It was a great deal, i got alterations done to make the dress more special and one of a kind.

Do not scrimp and go to David's Bridal! This is my biggest regret surrounding my wedding experience. I chose a dress for my wedding from David's Bridal and then got on a treadmill, inspired to get in shape before my big day. I ended up having to exchange the dress twice for a smaller size, and each time the sales people at the Chico David's Bridal tried to talk me out of going more than one size down, when I had already tried on the exact dress in two sizes down and it fit much better!!! Once I finally got the dress closer to my current size, it was time for alterations. The seamstress in house informed me that they would not be able to tailor my dress to conform to my shape as that would change the characteristics of the dress, a trademarked item.

At best, the seamstress in house could take in the top part of the dress down to my ribcage, but from the top of my hips down they were inable to do anything to it. As a result, the dress was made corset tight from my shoulders to my waist and then was so big it looked sloppy from the waist down. I had to take the dress to another seamstress to finish the hack job David's did to it, to taylor the waist and hips to conform to me as well as the top, and to let out the top a tad from their attempt at bringing it in.

I was so unhappy with the whole experience, it really put a damper on the idea of feeling your best and most beautiful on your wedding day... Not to mention the cost of alterations - just in-house - NOT including the emeregency repair alterations the week before the wedding, ran the price of the dress to nearly double the initial sales price.

DO NOT cut corners here, look for dresses on sale at local bridal boutiques and seek reputable alterations shops when shopping for your wedding gown ladies! Please learn from my experience and cut costs elsewhere, your piece of mind that your gown will be beautiful (and you in it) will more than make up for any money saved by going here...

The day I went to get a dress, I had to wait for over an hour for someone to help me. The woman that did help me was wonderful. I tried on 15 different dresses but they didn't really have what I was looking for. In order not to disappoint my family that was with me I chose the dress I liked the most. Lucky me it was on sale for only $250. when I got to the register and the bill was $900 I was very upset. They charge a ridiculous amount for all my little accessories and even charged me for the protective bag the put the dress in without even asking if I wanted it.

5 months ago my faience passed away unexpectedly. I can not even begin to describe the pain I am in. every time I looked at my dress, I cried even more so I took it all back to be returned. The accessories were unopened and the dress unaltered, but they refused to let me return anything saying all sales are final. I am now out all that money and have a permanent reminder of what my life was supposed to be. This company does not care about anything but making money. Do not put your trust in them and do not waste your money.
