Our daughter, Meg, got married at Daughter’s Barn on December 13th. It was perfect! The venue is lovely in every way. Each detail is crafted to create an atmosphere that is romantic and warm. From our first visit to the date of the wedding, everything was flawless. Wendy is amazing! She is so knowledgeable and talented, she was invaluable in planning the event. She listened to Meg’s ideas and turned her dreams into a beautiful reality. We were overwhelmed by her generosity in sharing the gorgeous décor she has collected over the years, including many one-of-a-kind pieces specially created by hand just for her. It was a tremendous savings for our family and allowed us to host a wedding that was even more beautiful than we could have ever thought possible.
Each space on the property is ideally designed for its purpose. The groom’s bungalow is fun and functional with plenty of room to get ready and games to occupy the men while they wait for the main event. It is a short walk from the outdoor ceremony space. The outdoor ceremony space is lovely without a single bit of decoration but, once Wendy worked her magic, it was transformed into Meg and Zander’s dream backdrop for their marriage ceremony. The bride’s cottage is utterly charming and romantic with comfortable seating, lots of mirrors, make-up and hair tables, and places to hang full-length gowns. Wendy and her colleague, Julie, checked with us throughout the day while we were getting ready to see if we needed anything. They were lifesavers when one of the groomsmen’s pants ripped at the seam (sewing kit in a drawer) and when we realized the florist hadn’t delivered the flower petals for the flower girl. They immediately solved the issues and made sure we didn’t have a moment’s worry.
The barn where we held the reception is stunning. The beams are draped in lights, and a gorgeous chandelier hangs at the center. The handcrafted tables were beautifully decorated with the décor Wendy helped Meg select. The bride and groom’s table was perfectly situated with their cutting cake slightly behind them. We utilized the bar tender and servers with whom Wendy contracts, and they were awesome! They have a handmade wooden service cart that we utilized for cocktail hour that was just perfect. When it came to the cocktail hour and reception, we provided the consumables and food, but they set everything up and handled all the details. I cannot tell you how wonderful this was! There was plenty of room for the DJ and dancing. At the end of the evening, everything was boxed up and ready for us to take. We didn’t have to lift a finger… they did everything!!!
Daughter’s Barn is so much more than a venue. It is an integral part of the memory that is created on the day where two people celebrate their love with the people they love! There are no words that can adequately express the gratitude our family has for Wendy and her team. Wendy truly guides you through the wedding planning process so smoothly and handles so many of the details that she makes things amazingly stress free. She is never intrusive or pushy but utilizes her experience and expertise to provide the support a bride, groom, and their parents need. Julie, Wendy’s colleague, was also an amazing and invaluable support. She verified everything with our vendors and assisted Wendy as they guided us through the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. It was like having your best friends taking care of you and all the details on the most important day. In addition, the cost is incredibly reasonable and a tremendous value. I wholeheartedly recommend Daughter’s Barn if you are planning a wedding!!!

Amazing!!!!
I had my wedding at Daughter’s Barn, and I have to say it was the most special day of my life. Wendy and her team go above and beyond what we could have ever expected. The day could not have gone more perfect. The setup is amazing, and the whole location is dedicated to your wedding. The Daughter’s Barn team works like a well-oiled machine. I felt like part of their family by the end of the night. You can NOT beat this place. They provide everything, and price is a steal! -

Best day of my life!
Let me start by saying, my wedding day was the absolute best day of my life and I truly thank Wendy for everything she did for me before, during, and after that day! I decided to make the trip from South Florida all because of her beautiful venue and hospitality. She guided me every step of the way from choosing vendors to deciding how to decorate and everything in between. Wendy is a breathe of fresh air when it comes to the stress of wedding planning. The day of my wedding was just icing on the cake! Wendy and her team made sure every little detail was perfect and exactly how I had dreamed. I still to this day wish I could re live my wedding day and it would not have been the same if I chose anywhere other than Daughter’s Barn!! -

I cannot recommend this venue and everyone that worked the day of our wedding enough. They made our day special and really helped with my nerves by coordinating the day. The She-Shed was my favorite part because they decorated based on my colors with their own decor. I didn't have to haul a ton of decor after! If you are looking for an affordable, GORGEOUS venue with AWESOME people look no further! Thank you Wendy, Jade, Julie and everyone else who helped make our day special. -

If you’re looking for a venue that truly includes everything this is the place to go! Wendy and her staff will make you feel like family by your wedding day. Wendy definitely does everything in her power to make your special day is perfect!! I worked two jobs to be able to pay for the wedding, so I never felt like I had enough time to wedding plan or figure out all the details. Not to worry Wendy and her team along with the help of one of my good friends Bree helped make sure I had the perfect day. Every decor item or Pinterest idea you could ever think of they probably have which helps save so much money!! You won’t regret booking daughters barn it’s one of the best decisions Nick and I ever made!! The memories and pictures from this beautiful venue will last a lifetime! -

Oh man, where do I start. I could go on and on about how beautiful this venue is but you can tell all of that from the photos! What I really want to leave a review on is Wendy and her team. This wonderful woman and her staff are an absolute pleasure to work with. Wendy went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. We had major hiccups with our wedding coordinating that we hired and Wendy saved the day multiple times. Wendy met with me several times prior to the wedding to make sure our vision came to life. She was there when our hired wedding planner was not. She is a powerhouse & I can’t recommend her, her staff, and her venue enough. She offers a package with planning I definitely recommend that. She knows her venue best. Our day was perfect because of her attention to detail and hard work. She is has a “get it done” & friendly attitude that made me feel 100% at ease. If you want a gorgeous wedding that runs smoothly I highly recommend Daughter’s barn! I would do it all over again just to work with Wendy! One last thing, hire from her recommended vendor list! You won’t be disappointed! They are all hand picked by her and they did an amazing job!

The barn is so diverse.. every other venue i looked at wouldnt really fit my style but Daughters Barn did! It is so beautiful with the stain glass and flooring that helped keep my dress nice while dancing the night away! The lights through out the walkways outside were stunning as well as the cute little outhouses they built for restrooms! The owner was so helpful in every way too, from planning to helping make everything easy on the big day. You cant go wrong with Daughters Barn!! -

We had our wedding at Daughter’s Barn in March and everything was perfect! Wendy is so accommodating and helpful and made our day way less stressful. The barn & ceremony area is beautiful as well as the bridal cottage. The BEST Venue
I would recommend Daughters Barn to anyone, Mrs. Wendy is amazing and will work with you in anyway. My wedding day was an absolute dream come true. From the cottage, to the ceremony spot, and the beautiful barn where I had my reception. If I had to do it all over again I’d choose Daughters Barn everytime. I knew I wanted to get married here when I saw such beautiful photographs of the property. Every single inch of it has so much detail to it. It wasn’t just the property and beautiful barn that made my wedding day more than perfect and anything I could have imagined, it was WENDY! Magical, Beautiful Venue
We had our wedding here on 10/12/19 and to say it was the happiest day of my life would be an understatement. Wendy and her team were accommodating, so patient, knowledgeable and FUN! I am still receiving compliments from guests that say it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!! If you want someone who will go above and beyond and ease ANY stress on your wedding day then book your wedding at Daughter's Barn because Wendy Hernandez treats every bride like her own daughter!
Anyone who knows me knows I throw big, over the top parties (blame Pinterest), I’m always running around the entire party stressing and fixing every detail so all my friends and family just knew the day of my wedding I would be 10x worse! And when my big day finally arrived that wasn’t the case at all and that’s all thanks to Wendy and Julie. I wanted an appetizer table out for my guests before dinner.. no problem. I wanted a 9 dozen cupcakes and 7 dessert table... done. I needed chalk boards, drink dispenser, crates whatever Wendy had it all!
My big day was everything I had dreamt, planned and hoped it would be!

"Hometown Girl" Wedding
Living in a small town with limited venues like Folkston, I was super excited when I heard of Daughter's Barn. When I first went and looked at the barn, I knew it was perfect for my wedding. Daughter's Barn undoubtedly has that something special that makes any occasion memorable-LOVE. Knowing the story behind the barn made it a definite for my wedding day venue. Mrs. Wendy, the owner, goes above and beyond to make everyday special at the barn. She was always a phone call or text away to help and answer any questions I had. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months before my wedding, and Mrs. Wendy made arrangements to make sure everything wound be accommodating for my mom. From making sure she would be warm to having comfortable seating for her. This to me is showing how much she cares for her customers and even their families. I absolutely love Mrs. Wendy and Daughter's Barn. I would highly recommend Daughter's Barn to anyone looking for a place filled with love to celebrate their special da. -

I loved everything about Daughters Barn! We visited multiple barns in Savannah and as soon as we visited Daughters Barn in Folkston we knew it was the one! Even my Dad was excited for the barn!! Wendy was extremely easy to work with and helped plan the perfect brunch wedding for us! Wendy ALWAYS responds quickly to any questions. Wendy even woke up at 5:30 am the day of my wedding to help my hairdresser, bridesmaids, and myself find the cabin we had rented(from a different vendor) to get dressed in! She continuously calmed everyones nerves and made sure everything was set and ready to go! Daughters Barn makes for amazing pictures too! Wendy was very flexible with helping us create the perfect wedding! -

Magic in a small town
I stumbled upon Daughters Barn shortly after my fiancé and I were engaged. I had a tight budget and thought the romantic barn vision was nearly out of the question, until a friend of mine mentioned a new wedding venue in her hometown. I immediately googled the venue, read through the story behind the barn (which pulled at my heart strings for sure), and called Wendy on my lunch break. The next morning, after a 12-hour shift, my fiancé and I were on our way to GA from Jacksonville before 7am.
As soon as Wendy met us out in front of the barn doors, any hesitation we felt was gone. We were sold in a few minutes. Wendy’s outgoing and caring personality shines through in all she does. She goes above and beyond to answer any question and reach out to countless contacts to make sure your special day (and the process leading up to it) is as smooth and stress free as possible. Wendy and her family have taken a forgotten small plot of land and created magic with Daughters Barn.
The venue is the perfect sight for romantic country chic weddings: twinkle lights everywhere, rustic seating, handmade wooden tables and benches, and plenty of room for outdoor games and ceremony space. I appreciated Wendy’s straightforward wedding packages and pricing as well her flexibility and recommendations when it comes to vendors. Her professionalism and responsiveness is on point.
Julie, the day of coordinator, is another angel of Daughters Barn. I gave Julie my vendor list and rough timeline a few weeks before my wedding. I started grad school a few months before that and fell into a very tough week of demanding assignments, exams, ect before the wedding. The weeks leading up to the big day are by far the most stressful. Julie was there to find solutions and coordinate with vendors when I did not have the brainpower or emotional stamina to do so. Julie made it possible for me to put my phone away the day before and the day of my wedding so I could fully find myself present in those moments.
Looking back four days later, it was a whirlwind for sure. I could not have asked for a more perfectly fitting and magical day. I miss that barn and family and community behind it. I will forever hold Daughters Barn in my heart.
If you are bride looking for the magic of a small town and rustic barn tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, Daughter’s Barn is your venue! Wendy and the whole crew have everything you need (or know someone who does) to make your vision a reality! -

Besides providing a lovely venue, she assisted us every step of the way from helping us to find local vendors (we live out of state) to helping us set up the day before, offering suggestions based off of past experience. We found her to be very professional, responsive, and accessible. I even contacted her at 3 AM the day of the wedding with concerns (I hate to admit) and got a response a few short hours later. I'm convinced that we could not have pulled off the wedding of our dreams (within our budget) at any other venue.

Daughters Barn was perfect for my beautiful day. I really enjoyed the flexibility of decorating the venue and making it my own. I love how the ceremony space and barn for reception is so close together. It makes for a very intimate and beautiful setting. The owners are so very sweet and are willing to help and work with you any way possible. We really enjoyed our day and so did our guests!
