Darko is a wonderful individual and a true professional. His ability to capture each moment and facial expression is truly phenomenal. We were very pleased with Darko's work and were excited to receive all of our photos shortly after the wedding (about two weeks after). Darko shot our engagement photos and our wedding photos and did an absolutely amazing job. From our first meeting through to receiving our pictures (less than 3 weeks after our wedding!), we were thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and enjoyed working with him immensely.
Price, quality, communication and fun working with Darko were all top notch. If you are looking for a photographer for anything, we would definitely recommend him.Darko shot our engagement photos and our wedding photos and did an absolutely amazing job. Booking a photographer was the second thing we did, after booking the venue. It was very important to us to get a professional photographer who can capture our once in a lifetime moment. We browsed through the work of a lot of different photographers, before choosing Darko. He did not disappoint!
On top of being a great photographer, Darko is also extremely punctual and very professional. This is exactly what you want from any of your vendors on your wedding day. When he was taking pictures, we felt very comfortable showing our true emotions, which really showed in our photos. What also stood out is how quickly Darko was able to recognize and capture perfect moments throughout the day. He has great vision and is very efficient with his shots.
We received our photos in two weeks, which is very fast comparing to other photographers who take months. All the photos look very bright and full of rich colours. We got compliments from all of our friends and family as well as the people that were unable to attend. They truly felt that they were able to share this experience with us by looking at our photos.
I would definitely recommend Darko to anyone who is looking for a professional wedding photographer. Just look at his work, you will not be disappointed!

We can't say enough about Darko and Carrie - they are Awesome! We would recommend them without any reservation to anyone having a special occasion - but in particular, a wedding. Our engagement shoot was a lot of fun (and wasn't something we were looking forward to…both being a bit camera shy); Darko made it feel so relaxed and comfortable - and so this also meant that on our big day, we had no stress whatsoever! Our wedding photos are just simply beautiful - we love them as we feel they really capture the emotions of the day and such memories! All of our friends and family have raved about them as well! If you need a photographer, Darko is your man. He is AMAZING. My fiance and I had an engagement shoot with him after a long day - and the shoot was so much fun, totally relaxed and turned our day around completely! The resulting photos were spectacular!! Our wedding day was completely low stress and fun because of Darko and Carrie's energy and all their help (which was above and beyond photography!). We don't regard ourselves as photogenic or even very comfortable in front of the camera, but our photos from Darko and Carrie say otherwise! My wife and I hired Darko as our wedding photographer and for an engagement photo shoot. He is an amazing Vancouver wedding photographer who is incredibly talented at capturing the chemistry between couples and leveraging lighting and composition techniques to produce brilliant photographs. He has a great eye and was able to capture us in the best, most flattering light and angles. Within minutes of viewing my wedding photos, I got the same butterflies I had on my wedding day; he captured our energy and emotions so vividly that I experienced my excitement all over again. He is honestly such a talented photographer that I cannot even begin to decide on a favourite photo, let alone top 10 - there are numerous photos I absolutely adore. Darko also has a wonderful personality with such professionalism that it was easy for us to relax and just be ourselves. Searching for our photographer online, what drew me most to Darko and set him apart from the hundreds of other photographers in the Vancouver area was that in his photos, I could truly visually see the love between the couple. He took our engagement photos which were super fun and he and his lovely wife Carrie did an amazing job capturing our wedding day. Darko is very professional, flexible, super friendly and very talented. The collection of photos we received are incredible and they were ready in record time! Darko and his wife Carrie shot our wedding a few weeks ago. What can I tell you? He was superb, and went so far beyond our expectations. We wanted a very candid, photojournalist approach and he captured that perfectly. We now have hundreds (!) of amazing photos of our friends and family and ourselves in really compelling images that perfectly describe how the whole event unfolded. Besides that, the standard family and groups shots look awesome, and the portraiture he did of the two of us is stunning. He posted all the shots online and gave us discs of every single image (lightly retouched and adjusted) within two weeks!!! I'm sure that's not always possible, but it tells you how professional he is and conscientious of seeing the job to completion. We couldn't be more impressed with Darko (and Carrie!) and we know we made the best possible choice hiring him as our wedding photographer!
