I cannot tell you how amazing the food was. Everyone had so many positive reviews (& you usually don’t hear that about wedding food)! Extremely accommodating & helped us make all the right decisions for those with allergies/dietary restrictions. When we started to plan my daughter’s wedding, we were a bit frustrated. That was until we met Donna. She made the process fun and enjoyable. She was a pleasure to work with and her staff were exceptional! She accommodated lots of little details to make her wedding personalized. Her food was absolutely fantastic, and all the guest raved about it for days. I highly recommend the biscuit bar with all the side fixings, including her phenomenal homemade pimento cheese. The tomato bisque soup with four cheese wedge sandwiches as a passed appetizer was a favorite! She made this wedding special, and I will forever be grateful. If you want exceptional food at a very fair price, along with exceptional personalized service, don’t look anywhere else. All you need is Donna at Twisted Catering. I can not say enough good things about Donna & her team! They catered our wedding of 35 people at Chestnut Ridge and worked with us to create a custom Tapas Menu! Everyone loved all the the food! Donna was one of the most responsive vendors I worked with! On the day of the wedding her team went above and beyond to make our event wonderful! Wonderful Wedding/Reception 11/21/2020 (even w/ COVID delay)
Jordan and the Twisted Laurel/Daphne Room staff went above and beyond to make our day special!
Our original date was 4/25/2020, but due to COVID-19, we had to delay. Jordan made the initial call to ask whether we wanted to reschedule for another date or offered our deposit back in full.
During this uncertain time of states opening/closing, covid cases rising/declining, Jordan worked patiently with us the entire way.
As a scatterbrained, stressed-out bride, Jordan was there to help keep me on track, offer suggestions, and to just do what needed to be done!
I've waited 37yrs to get married and with the work of Jordan with the Twisted Laurel staff, they helped make my day wonderful!

Helped me plan my son's rehearsal dinner and created a beautiful and perfect opening to the wedding weekend. Jordan Stewart led every aspect of the planning through the pandemic and was fabulous to work with. Very good value for an unbelievable amount of delicious homemade food and generous drink. The Daphne Room is intimate and warm yet right in the heart of downtown Asheville. The wait staff was amazing and took care of our every need. So many awesome things to say about twisted laurel!! I was a covid bride who had to reschedule and a month before my wedding my other caterer fell through. My planner had suggested reaching out to twisted laurel and I am so thankful I did. From the start Jordan was a delight to work with. She was able to recreate my original menu choices and make all my worries go away. She was so accommodating with any requests I would make and very professional and quick to respond. We had so many compliments on the food at the wedding and everyone was impressed with their service. We actually used them for our rehearsal dinner as well and it was the best decision! We had so much fun and the best experience! Truly the best food and the best service for such a reasonable price. Everyone was awesome to work with. Had to change venue at the last minute for rehearsal dinner due to covid. I ended up being more pleased with this venue than the original one. My son and his fiancé had to cancel their wedding plans in Asheville due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Jordan, the Event Planner at the Twisted Laurel, had helped us plan our Rehearsal Dinner there. She is so easy to work with, helping us plan the kind of event we were dreaming of.. from table set up, menu selections, music set up, cocktails, whatever we needed and helped us stay within our budget. When we had to cancel our dinner, she was the epitome of professionalism and kindness. I can not recommend a better place to choose for your special event. Thank you, Jordan!

Twisted Laurel was everything we wanted for our Rehearsal Dinner. Excellent atmosphere, the room upstairs as well as the food and drink selections were perfect. The staff really made the event, though. There was nothing the staff wasn’t willing to do for us. The menu was completely customizable, the assistance with the planning process was unparalleled. Vince, Jordan and the staff did an amazing job making sure we had the night we wanted.

My mother-in-law hosted our welcome party and rehearsal dinner at Twisted Laurel's upstairs space. We couldn't have been happier with the menu, which we were able to customize quite a bit, and the amazing service. Jordan, their event coordinator, goes above and beyond throughout every step of the process. All of our guests loved the private bar, the appetizers, and the location's proximity to everything you'd want downtown. The room itself is beautiful - rich wood, perfect lighting, and the ability to customize the seating pretty much however you need. We had 35 people for dinner, and about 70 for the party, and no one felt like they were on top of each other. Also, a fun little surprise: since it was dark, my husband and I didn't see the chalkboard announcing our party until we drove by the morning after the wedding, and it was an exciting, sweet surprise to see our names on the wall downstairs! Great event venue, amazing staff and delicious food.
My husband and I were looking for a place to celebrate our 1-year anniversary. We found Twisted Laurel while doing web browsing and the guest pictures in google captivated our attention. We went to visit the place and talked to the event manager and felt super comfortable. They had all the options for events compiled in a booklet which made everything very easy. They gave us multiple options for food and drinks and we were able to book the whole second floor to host our party.
They provided the flowers, linens, tables... The venue is fully equipped so we just plugged our iPad for music. Everything looked beautiful and the lightning of the place is just PERFECT.
The food was amazing!! All our guest gave great compliments about it.
It was the easiest and successful event planning I've ever experienced.
Thanks to all the staff for making this event such a success. I will definitely be back for food and drinks!

Michelle Sent on 10/25/2017We used Twisted Laurel for our rehearsal dinner. My husband and I have previously eaten there on several occasions and pretty much knew what we wanted for our menu from the start but we did draw some inspiration from their sample menus that they provided. They were very flexible with anything we wanted to add or change.
My mom and mother in law created a slideshow of pictures that they were able to display on one of the walls and my maid of honor made a playlist that we were able to hook up to their sound system. Everything went off without a hitch and it was a huge success! All of our guests raved about the food and atmosphere. They all thought the slideshow was adorable as well so I really glad we were able to set that up in the space. -

Stephanie Sent on 07/01/2017My in-laws hosted a beautiful welcome reception for our destination wedding at Twisted Laurel and it was absolutely perfect! We also hired them to host the cocktail hour at our ceremony venue located 35 minutes north of Asheville. The food was delicious and presented very nicely. Ali was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and went above and beyond to provide what we needed while staying within our budget. She was also very patient and understanding anytime I requested adjustments to the proposal. Her positive and easy going attitude made planning a breeze (even though we were in different states). The Twisted Laurel team did an amazing job with both events. Staff were extremely pleasant, punctual, and professional. They were professional and easy to work/communicate with, and our guests DEVOURED the duck sliders and french fries with multiple dipping sauces. The Twisted Laurel and staff did an excellent job for our small Wedding Reception. We had never been to the venue and planned the event sight unseen with the help of Jordan. It was absolutely perfect. The appetizers, drinks and main course were all wonderful.
