From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly responsive, organized, and communicative, which made the entire planning process so much less stressful. On our wedding day, everything ran smoothly and seamlessly thanks to their attention to detail and professionalism.

The team went above and beyond to ensure everything stayed on schedule while making us and our guests feel welcomed and cared for. We were able to truly enjoy our day knowing everything was in such capable hands. We are so grateful for all of their hard work and would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run, and stress-free wedding experience.

I would highly recommend the Danversport for any event you would like to plan. My daughter got married on October 18th. The day could not have gone more smoothly, thanks to Ron and his team. The planning was easy, what ever you want they will figure it out. From the moment we pulled into the location, running a little late, Ron was at the door. The wedding party headed to the river front for pictures and he took my daughter and son in law in for a first look at the venue. The appetizer's kept flowing for our guests and the staff was everywhere. I have received more compliments from family and friends about their experience. Most have said it was the best wedding they have attended. From the appetizers flowing non-stop, the multi bar locations, the views overlooking the Danvers River, then to have the curtains pulled back to see the actual dining area, just incredible. You want a wedding venue, this is the place for you.
I would like to give a shout out to Ron and his team. Their attention to detail thru out the day was amazing. They made this special day a memorable day.

This was the most perfect wedding imaginable! Everything was what every couple dreams of! The weather and scenic backdrop is incredible! Our wedding at Danversport was absolutely perfect! I really connected with Christine, she was amazing! She felt like family the night of the wedding. Everyone raved about the food and how beautiful the venue was. My husband is a lobsterman so it was really important to us to serve his lobsters on the seafood display and Danversport accommodated that. It meant the world to us! All of the food was displayed beautifully ! I can’t say enough about Christine and the rest of the Danversport staff, everything was perfect! 

Danversport exceeded my wedding day expectations. I had the privilege of working with Tiffany! From the first day I looked at the venue until the end of my wedding Tiffany made me feel like I was her only client. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, confident and more importantly excited about my day. I went into Danversport not wanting a wedding but feeling the pressure of having one and with the help from Tiffany I have zero regrets and enjoyed my day immensely. From the food to the atmosphere and the wait staff everything was a 10/10. I would recommend Danversport to anyone for any event they won’t disappoint.

We had our wedding at Danversport Yacht Club and everything was absolutely amazing and seamless! From start to finish, the entire experience was so easy for us as the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and made sure every detail came together effortlessly. As a bride, this truly relieved so much of my stress. The event staff was always quick to respond to my many emails and did such a great job calming my wedding anxieties along the way. Our guests cannot stop raving about how elegant and chic the wedding was, how much fun they had, and—of course—the AMAZING food! A huge part of that was thanks to Danversport and their wonderful team. If you’re considering this venue, I can’t recommend it highly enough. Five stars without a doubt!

Danversport was the only venue my husband and I looked at as we knew once we saw it, this was the place we wanted to get married. The views are stunning. The ballroom is absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail is outstanding. Everyone raved about the food and thought it was one of the best wedding meals they had ever had. I highly recommend the seafood boat which was a hit during the cocktail hour. Heather and Lisa made sure the day went smoothly and they were such a pleasure to work with. We even had our rehearsal dinner in their Lighthouse room the night before and everything was outstanding. One thing I want to mention is that everything is included in the quoted price. There are no hidden charges. Many wedding venues charge for linens, chairs, etc but not this venue. Tips are not expected. Recently, my bridal shower was held at a country club where they charged the 7% meals tax plus a 22% administrative fee. Danversport only charges for the meals tax and nothing else. The cake was also included plus centerpieces if you want to use them. I highly recommend you book this place if it is available.

Highly recommend Danversport as a wedding venue. The entire staff are consummate professionals and made us feel confident that our wedding was going to run smoothly and as we had imagined. Ron and Darrick were with us leading up to and on the day and did an amazing job coordinating the entire event with their team and personally making sure we were enjoying our day. We also appreciated that Danversport was upfront with pricing and had no hidden costs or surprises in their pricing structure.

The venue is stunning in person and truly speaks for itself. We were especially glad that we chose Danversport, because when it rained, we had the ballroom as a beautiful backup plan for our ceremony. The ballroom is stunning at night, and the venue gave us the perfect space to enjoy cocktail hour, eat, and dance. We have received so many compliments from guests about our wedding, many specifically about the venue and the food that was served. We have absolutely no regrets having our wedding at Danversport and we wouldn’t have changed a thing about the day.

Our wedding on the Lawn and reception in the Harborview Ballroom went perfectly - and all our guests were raving about the hors d'oeuvres and delicious meals. Unprompted, the Danversport team moved all our ceremony florals into the reception space so we could enjoy them the whole evening, something we are so grateful for! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better setting or a better team than Danversport to help us plan the best day of our lives! 100% would recommend hosting your wedding here if you’re looking for an intimate family feel throughout the wedding process.

I married my husband Damon at Danversport Yacht Club on May 25, 2025, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. My husband and I just got married on 12/7/24 at Danversport. We had the absolute time of our lives. The venue was stunning and food 10/10. Our guests complimented the food multiple times. The entire staff were friendly and nice. We had the BEST event coordinator Tiffany. She was so plleasant and accommodating. She made sure my husband and I were taken care of the entire night and that it ran smoothly. I wish we could relive the night and given the chance we would have our wedding at Danversport time and time again! It will not disappoint, book here!

We had our wedding here in the ballroom on August 31, 2024 and it was truly so amazing! It was the best choice we made for our wedding! The whole staff are so friendly, accommodating and thoughtful. The coordinators answered all my questions so quickly throughout planning, and the team executed everything to a T in partnership with all my vendors! Everyone raved about the food and the space was really beautiful for photos and the ballroom had a great indoor / outdoor space for guests. We can't thank you all enough!

My husband and I recently got married at danversport this past June. We knew about the venue from our high school proms! Danversport and staff did a fabulous job hosting our wedding of ~200 people. The venue was clean and had all the accommodations we could have needed. The venue was spacious. We never felt like it was too crowded with how many people we had. And there was plenty of parking for guests. Our package came with a lot of things also making it a great value. The staff was awesome, especially Ron, who helped make sure our day went smooth. They made sure everything was coordinated for us so we didn’t have to stress, but also made sure us and our guest were having a great time. My guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue.

Danversport was a dream of mine well before I got engaged. When the moment finally happened, I knew there was only one venue perfect enough to marry my groom and that was Danversport. The food, the room, the view, the experience was everything. I would do it all again the same exact way in a heartbeat!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Danversport in the main ballroom. We absolutely fell in love with the ballroom on our first visit and knew it was the venue for us. The staff was incredible, the food was amazing, and the beauty of the venue speaks for itself.

Our cake was beautiful and tasted great! We were blessed with rain on our wedding day and Ron and his team did an amazing job with making adjustments to our cocktail hour and bridal party photos. They were very accommodating given the circumstances we were dealt with and made it stress free. We highly recommending booking with Danversport, the venue and outdoor areas are fantastic and they make your wedding day one to remember.

We could not have asked for a more perfect summer wedding venue in the Boston area for our July 1st wedding. This is truly a Northshore staple with incredible views and a hardworking team. Touring and booking with Danversport was so easy and we were fortunate to work with Ron during our tour and on our wedding day. He has been there for over 30 years & was truly a professional that evening. There are no hidden fees or extra gratuity expected at the end of the evening which made the decision that much easier. Communication via email was a bit tricky as they have a larger team with a different person answering almost each time so we felt that we had to double check that some requests were documented when confirmed as there is no portal to view your plan/ contract with them. We did not get a reception timeline when we thought we would so it delayed our timeline planning a bit. However, the Danversport team is so accommodating, kind, and their food is the best! The ballroom is so elegant, spacious, and has such a great view. The deck is larger than it looks so it is the perfect cocktail hour space. Their bartenders make great drinks and everyone was talking about how good the food was! Genuinely very happy with our experience there.

Ron and his team at Danversport could not have made the wedding planning process more easy. The venue truly has everything you need including place cards, cake, and personalized cocktail napkins, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We got so many compliments on the food, staff, and the whole atmosphere of the night. The menus are so customizable and the annual food tasting was a great time. Danversport was the first of 10 venues we toured in the area, and we are so happy with our choice. Everything about our wedding day was beautiful and meaningful.

Once we met with Danversport, right from our fist email with them to walking in the door everyone was so attentive, communicative, and helpful through the process. Where do we start with this review! Danversport completely exceeded our expectations. From our first meeting with the events team to the very last song of the night, our wedding was smooth, stress-free and incredible!
Lauren was our wedding coordinator and Darrick led our rehearsal and was our sweetheart table waiter. Both Lauren and Darrick made sure my husband and I had the best day of our lives and were able to see and enjoy everything the day brought. Lauren saw our vision and made it come to life from the floorplan to the placement of our wedding décor. In addition to Lauren, I often talked to Tanya and Katelyn who were very helpful with answering all my questions and providing suggestions as needed. The entire Danversport events team is professional, accommodating and experienced. They truly make your wedding their top priority.
Our ceremony was at Danversport at the lawn. My pre-wedding stress was put at ease when Lauren came up with a rain plan if needed. Luckily the rain plan wasn't needed and we got a 75-degree day in November and had our dream ceremony outside on the river with an incredible view. We used Danversport's "ring" to get married in front of and it was beautiful.
The food and drinks were delicious! Lauren and Darrick made sure that our bridal party had appetizers and drinks to enjoy after our ceremony while we took some pictures. Our guests LOVED the food and drinks and especially raved about the braised short rib, late-night snacks and signature drinks. The cake was incredible too!! Our reception took place in the Harborview Ballroom. It is a gorgeous room and it gave us plenty of space for dancing!

Danversport was exactly what my husband and I wanted for our wedding day. From day 1, they were extremely accessible and accommodating. The staff was professional and willing to make any changes we needed. I loved that there were no hidden fees. Pricing was straight forward. They made the whole wedding process a dream. It was so easy.

The day of our wedding was perfect! Everything went so smoothly. If there were any issues, I knew nothing about them. We were assigned a team of 4 people who helped with everything, even bustling my dress!

Our guests are still raving about the food. It was delicious. And there was something for everyone: gluten free, vegetarian, kids meals. We did buffet style since we had a small guest list. We made a few changes to some of the items but the staff were awesome about it. The desserts are still being dreamed about. My mother still has dreams of the white sangria... it was phenomenal.

I honestly didn't expect things to go as smoothly as they did. But working with Danversport was by far the best decision. Even my husband was impressed with what they had to offer. Definitely consider this venue and awesome team!

Choosing Danversport for our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made. The staff made the planning process so much easier for us and executed it perfectly that day. Ron answered all of our questions, took care of our special requests seamlessly, and kept us on track with each step on the day itself (first dances, cake cutting, etc). Our guests haven't stopped talking about the amazing location (we lucked out with beautiful weather to enjoy our cocktail hour on the deck), the show-stopping ballroom, delicious food, and attentive and warm staff. We couldn't imagine our wedding day without Danversport!

The Danversport staff, from planning to execution, was absolutely top notch and best-of-the-best. I want to emphasize just how much our guests raved about the beauty of the venue, the quality of the food (especially the cake! OMG it is all we hear about 😂), and the staff. It seriously felt like the staff was always two steps ahead of us in predicting what we needed. We never lifted a finger all night and I 100% trusted everything was completely under control, and that is truly invaluable when you have a million other things to worry about on your wedding day! I thought it was just because we were the bride and groom, but after speaking to our guests it was obvious that everyone in the room was treated as a VIP by the Danversport staff. They truly are some of the best in the business.

Where do I begin? Ron Bilodeau, our coordinator is the best! From the very beginning when showing us the venue, I knew this place was IT. Ron and the team was extremely responsive, patient and just so professional. Every email of mine, answered right away. The day of, I had nothing to worry about. The team was 5 steps ahead of me just leading the way! All of my guests were over the moon with the service they experienced from the servers and bartenders. The food was great, the drinks were too. I have nothing to complain about! I am in love with Danversport and its awesome team! I will be forever grateful with them for making my night magical!

Our wedding at Danversport was incredible. They literally do it all. They do the setup, coordinate the day of and make sure everything runs smoothly. The waterfront is amazingly beautiful and made great photos as well as the gorgeous ballroom. I can not say enough about the team and how everything came together so nicely. Timing was perfect all night and this is important as I have been to other weddings where there was a lot of downtime and waiting around. They did an amazing job. The food was great and so were the drinks!

We had our dream wedding at Danversport! We worked with several people during our wedding planning and everyone was very knowledgeable and attentive! Everything from the grounds to the food was exactly how I had imagined it.

We ran about 1 & 1/2 hours late. The staff was great about giving us options where we might be able to save time but left it to us to decide instead of just cutting things short. The food was delicious (many of my guests also thought so) from cocktail hour to the dinner. We had our ceremony there as well we had the pergola & it was stunning! The rehearsal, I felt, would've been better if I had the officiant there (NOT Danversport's fault just a word of advice for anyone reading this) I gave 5* but there were definitely a few things I was upset about. We ordered the "Late Night Snacks" I was told they'd be handed out & they weren't they were sitting on a table with the boxes OPEN during COVID? They tended to me (bride) & the head table (8ppl) wonderfully the day-of however I felt they could've been more attentive to my mom ESPECIALLY because she's disabled. I got my own centerpieces (they have ones you can use) & I know not all of the lights were used & they didnt give them back. Come the very end of the night there was not a staff member ANYWHERE to ask for anything. A few other things but nothing I feel to be mentioned here. They're super professional & great to work with the fact that it's a wedding "package" is definitely a plus! All in all I would recommend.

We had our wedding at Danversport, Friday August 20, 2021. When we first started looking at venue’s in the North Shore area of Boston, we were somewhat disappointed until we visited Danversport! Immediately, we knew we found our venue. As a same sex couple, finding a diverse, all-inclusive group to work with was top on our list. In August 2020, we stopped by Danversport without an appointment; called before going in and Ron was very welcoming. He dropped what he was doing to meet with us and give us a tour, complete with a full packet of information to review. The very next day, we put a deposit on our wedding date for a Gazebo Ceremony and Lighthouse Point room for 54 guests. We were thrilled and could not wait to get the planning going!
Throughout the entire process, we were pleased with each interaction. The taste-testing was phenomenal! There were samples of every item on the menu; including wine, and other bar beverages. The food is ridiculously delicious. When the day came for our rehearsal, we were slightly unprepared as we forgot an important folder of information at our hotel. Sean was assigned to be our wedding coordinator. Not only did Sean help to calm me down, she was patient, direct and supportive beyond our imagination. She knew exactly what we needed to prepare for the following day and managed our wedding party through that process with ease and professionalism.
The day of our wedding, we were at peace knowing we had the best Event Coordinator at Danversport! Not one detail was missed; everything went off exactly as Sean planned with us during the rehearsal. At one point during the evening, our server, Mark was fanning our Officiant as she was sweating in the heat!! This screamed volumes to us that we were all being pampered to the nines! Our guests are still talking about our wedding and have shared many compliments.
Of course nothing is perfect, right?! However, once again Sean ceased to amaze us. My ballgown started to fall apart due to poor seamstress work. After the bustle broke three times, Sean came to the rescue and hooked us up…LITERALLY! Through many laughs we made the best of it.
It is without hesitation that we highly recommend Danversport for special events! The team at Danversport are all dedicated people who truly care. Ron was an absolute pleasure to work with. Even to this day when we visit for Party on the Patio, Ron and his team stop to say hello and welcome us. Genuine. Real. Humble.
In closing comments, we will share that we were shocked that we could manage to fit Danversport into our budget. The all-inclusive package is what made our dream wedding possible and for that we are thankful to the moon and back. Amazing A+++++ experience.

My daughter’s 8/21/21 wedding was amazing! From start to finish, the experience of working with Danversport was great. Ron Bilodeau, Director of Special Events, guided us through every aspect. He has been doing this at Danversport for 35 years and it showed. We’ve attended weddings there before but had no idea of how dedicated the team is to making everything run smoothly. From the initial tour to picking up our decor the next morning, they were there to help.

The all inclusive package (taxes, tips, fees) means the cost is transparent. The venue is gorgeous, the food amazing, the staff very attentive. Our photographer already sent a sneak peek look at the photos and they are beautiful. We opted for the Viennese Dessert Display and it was a showstopper.
Ron had my husband and I go over to see the setup before they opened the curtains and it took my breath away.

We picked Danversport for our wedding venue - best decision ever! When we first visited them, it was immediately clear that Danversport have years and years of professional experience hosting events on site. Wedding planning can be overwhelming but Danversport was always there to help us plan every step of the way. We had the pleasure of working with Lauren and Sean! They are amazing and I highly recommend them! Their suggestions were always helpful. They are professional at conflict resolution. All pricing on their menus already includes taxes and fees so that is one less thing for us to worry about. Wedding is so much less stressful since their team is quick, efficient, and experienced. They have so many beautiful backgrounds to use for wedding ceremony. If it rains on your wedding day, they always have a backup plan! Danversport did an amazing job with our wedding and we are beyond pleased with the outcome! Please save yourself the time and book your venue with them! Planning is so much easier with them! Your guests will also leave your wedding talking about how amazing the food was!

The best decision we could have made for our wedding was choosing Danversport as our venue. Crazy enough, while we were touring other venues, we saw the sign leading to Danversport and decided to pop in since we had heard about it on “The Knot.” The second we walked onto the property, we were in awe. When we stepped into the Harborview Ballroom I knew that this venue was it. The chandeliers and cathedral ceilings literally took my breath away. Don’t forget about the sundeck and unreal waterfront view! We didn’t have an appointment so we were trying to stay out of everyone’s way just admiring the space, and Ron, the Director of Special Events introduced himself and literally guided us around as he prepared for another couple's wedding. He had us head over heels for the venue by the time we left. Of course, we finally set up an actual tour and saw both the ballroom and waterfront ceremony space and we knew it was meant to be. The staff was so beyond attentive and compassionate through the entire process.

In our opinion, the venue speaks for itself and was absolutely everything we could have hoped for. Danversport made our dreams come true and all of our guests were truly in awe. We still have guests telling us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, from the atmosphere, to the service, and especially how AMAZING the food tasted. My family is still going crazy about the fillet!! Our wedding day was everything and more with the help of Danversport. It’s truly a day we will never forget. Ron guided us through the day with ease and his experience really made the day a breeze. Obviously, we’ve never done this before haha!

Danversport were so accomodating throughout our entire micro-covid wedding. We had experienced so much stress leading up to the day of our wedding due to cancellations etc. and Danversport made sure that everything went smoothly and that we were happy with every decision that we made with them. They are so accommodating and really want what's best for you! My favorite thing about them is that they are very honest with their prices and packages, you know exactly what you are getting and there are no extra add-ons -- everything is included (taxes, tip, cake, service fee etc.) Would 100% recommend this special place, especially during these circumstances!!

Danversport is the best! They exceeded my expectations when it came to executing on my vision! Everything was beautiful and they made it all stress free despite this pandemic we are all in. I heard horror stories from other brides about their experiences but I didn’t have one worry! They worked with us on alternate possibilities, if we needed them, and there was never any pressure.

On the day of the wedding, everything looked beautiful and the food was delicious!! I’ve gone to lots of weddings and the food is always generic hotel food. NOT here!! The presentation was beautiful and the service was awesome!!!

They also worked with the other vendors to ensure the timeline flowed which allowed us to just have fun!

We will definitely be having other functions here!

We had an amazing experience. It was very last minute booking because of COVID. We originally had booked in Boston, but I am so happy we ended up being able to get married here. The wedding planners Ron (initial meeting) and Heather (Day of, and EXO) were exceptional. Heather took care of EVERYTHING, any questions ,worries, concerns, logistics, ALL OF IT. It was so reassuring (read calming because let’s face it, you are all never on the big day). Sean (Heathers #2 in my mind) our point person on food and bev (and pretty much all the guests) was absolutely one of the best. She made it a point to ensure we had everything we wanted AND managed the guests flawlessly. Their support staff were wonderful and the food was amazing. I would recommend this venue 10/10 times, and if you can finagle it, ask for Heather and Sean.

From the beginning to the end, this was the most perfect experience. Thank you to Nancy (our planner) and Derek (our event captain) for your exceptional service and incredible attitudes. This venue is a hidden gem in terms of setting and location and the staff is even better than the truly incredible views! We couldn’t be happier or more thankful for the entire experience. We highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone... as a bride who is NOT very smooth with details, these guys made me look like I had sorted through any and all details... and really, it was all them. I meet with Michael at Danversport and when we arrived her was already outside of the venue with all information in hand awaiting our arrival. He was so warm and welcoming and took all the time to answer our questions. We then called back a few hours after the tour to ask more questions about the venue and got a call back the same day!! They have been so helpful and we feel truly cared for.

Very transparent about price from start to finish! Heather and Tanya were INCREDIBLE to work with. Answered emails as soon as possible, never kept you hanging! Paid attention to important personal touches!

They were all very kind, profesional, and made it seem like we were the only wedding that they had, even though we had a small wedding. They able to quickly answer any questions we had before the wedding and set up all of the decorations exactly as we wanted, and the night of the wedding they were consistently around and able to help us with anything that went wrong or any last second requests we had.

Everything from the ballroom decor, staff, food and execution of the actual day was perfect! They were great at communication and putting my crazy bride brain at ease!

Our wedding was September 15, 2019. The venue was absolutely beautiful, the gardens are well-kept, the canal is clean, the gazebo where we exchanged our vows is beautiful, the patio for our cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres for our guest was beautiful next to the waterfall, our Lighthouse room was spectacular .
The staff that took care of me and my groom and all of my guests were top notch! They helped me with every moment during our special day. They made sure that we always had something to drink, that we ate our meals, that our area was always clear so we would not stumble or spill anything. Our family and friends were so pleased with the staff. The entire staff was kind, professional and invisible yet available at every moment.
Danvers port actually recommended our photographer Barbara Lynch and then Barbara recommended DJ Tommy. Everyone worked so well with each other, everything felt flawless.
All of our guests are still calling us to tell us what an amazing wedding and how the staff was so accommodating, professional and Friendly.
We absolutely will return to this venue for any other type of function in our future. We will recommend this venue to anyone we cross paths with for any type of function.

Our wedding at Danversport was perfect. And while everyone may say that I honestly truly feel our wedding day was perfect and I owe it to Danversport. They were the most amazing venue to work with. We chose the venue not only for its beautiful location, space, decoration and ease of location but the biggest deciding factor was the staff and service at Danversport. They took care of everything up until the wedding day. Any time I sent an email with a question they no lie would respond within the hour! I always felt comfortable reaching out or asking for their advice on anything. If you are thinking you want this or that at your wedding or may want to try something different just ask and they will assist and help. They let it truly be your day. Not to mention the amazing affordability of this place!! On the actual wedding day the waterfront ceremony, the cocktail hour on the deck and the gorgeous ballroom was everything I dreamed of and more for our wedding day. Ron, Derrick and team kept everything moving and I knew we didn't need to worry about a thing. As other reviews will tell you its weeks later and people are still raving to us about the venue and the food. Do not look anywhere else, book this venue you will not regret it and your wedding will be everything you dreamed of. I want to give Danversport a million stars just so people recognize how amazing they are. Thank you for making our wedding the greatest day. We wish we could do it all again!!

We were married at Danversport in July 2019. Everything from beginning to end was seamless with the team. They answered any and every question quickly and happily accommodated any small or big requests we had. I can not recommend this team enough.

Amazing, easy and beautiful place for a wedding or any event.

There are one million great things I can say about working with the team at Danversport - and I mean the ENTIRE team, from coordinators to bartenders to servers, etc. Every single person was responsive, accommodating, helpful, and so positive throughout every interaction. We had a very specific goal for our wedding: throw an awesome party, make it accommodating for our guests, give them a great experience, and enjoy ourselves, too!

To start, this was a very short engagement - barely 6 months from announcement to wedding day. I knew going into Danversport that I was going to love the look fo the venue, but I didn't know if we could afford it. I was so wrong - when you factor in the taxes, fees, gratuities, etc. at so many other venues, it is a no-brainer. Plus, it decreases how often I have to do math, and that is always a bonus for me! We had a guest list of over 250, so we were limited on venue choices, and I'm glad we didn't waste time looking at too many because Danversport was absolutely the perfect place - the Harborview ballroom + the Sundeck are amazing!

Setting up the very first meeting was easy, Lauren was awesome, and within a few days we were working on the contract. The team was so great about a couple of additions we wanted, and they made the process smooth and stress-free. The food tasting setup was great - I loved getting to try everything in a group setting where we could really see how the food tastes when catering for a large group of people (if you're only tasting food cooked for 4-6 people, it's not usually the same as tasting food cooked for 200+ people).

From there, we introduced our wedding planner/event stylist to the Danversport team, and my planner (who is based out of South Florida and is also a close friend) has been singing the team's praises from the beginning. She has literally raved about how accommodating they are, how helpful they were to her, how flexible they were, etc. This made me SO happy that the venue wasn't adding unnecessary headaches (I have heard the horror stories from other places).

We did the deluxe open bar, and they had no issues bringing in some specific drinks we wanted! And yes, if you're basic like me, you'll be thrilled to know that they can in fact get White Claws in - you're welcome!

Ron was great at our rehearsal and the day of. From the moment we got to the venue, everyone was amazing! The bridal suite service was incredible, we even had staff following us with ice water pitchers and cups while taking our pre-ceremony pictures, one of the women (I'm sadly blanking on her name) even carried my train for me at one point. SO many of our guests made a point to tell us just how incredible the staff was - it is not often that people go out of their way to make that compliment at a wedding, in my experience, and it made me so happy to know our guests were loving the team as much as we were.

Once the ceremony was over and some additional pictures were being taken, apps and drinks were immediately served to us under the tent, absolutely no time was wasted! In fact, the apps and freshly poured champagne were there by the time we finished walking back up the aisle! They were even taking our drink orders and pouring us very generous glasses of champagne so we wouldn't need refills while taking photos. Anything we needed, they were there. The rest of the night also went amazingly, and Ron made sure to find us when it was 15 minutes to last call so we could let our guests know. This was really appreciated because I had no concept of time. When people say that your wedding reception flies by, they are not exaggerating!

Just about every single thing went perfectly! It's a wedding, something is sure to go wrong, but what matters is whether it can be handled and easily resolved. The only issue we had (which I didn't find out until after the fact) is that the special dietary meals were at first forgotten (i.e. I was never served gluten free pasta, a celiac-friendly meal for one of our guests was not initially brought out, and my bridesmaid's vegan meal wasn't served). The celiac-friendly meal was handled upon reminder from my MIL (I had no idea it was happening), but I didn't get to resolve the vegan meal since I didn't know it was missing until the next day. Had my bridesmaid said something, I have every confidence that they would have had it ready to go. As someone with dietary issues, I wouldn't let this hiccup stop me from working with Danversport, I would just be more vigilant the next time, especially since they had the meals available. Something just got lost in execution, but everyone was still safely fed and in a timely manner (i.e. no one was just sitting there waiting for food to be served long after everyone else was done eating).

It didn't even stop there. We hosted a brunch the next day as well, and the team let us keep some of our centerpieces on site and then THEY moved them downstairs to the brunch space to decorate the room for us! This floored me and was such an incredible and thoughtful touch. I even saw Lauren that morning at brunch, and per the usual, she was all smiles and congratulating us.

Truly, every single person we encountered at all levels was awesome. It was kind of unreal, especially because I've heard of so many nightmare issues for so many brides, even at venues that are supposed to be great. I will sing the praises of the team at Danversport to anyone who will listen because the experience was tremendous. There is already so much to stress about when planning a wedding, nothing beats getting to work with a team that is this efficient, talented, and friendly to work with. There is zero question that I will book future events there.

Oh, and maybe one of the best parts? Paying for exactly what you were told you would pay for. No surprise fees. No surprise add-ons. There was zero added stress dealing with the invoice. When comparing venue costs, be SURE to take into consideration the fact that Danversport provides the linens, napkins, chiavari chairs, etc. all as part of the inclusive pricing. This is important because I've seen venues charge per chair, per napkin, etc! Make sure you're comparing apples to apples because for the size of our party and the number of things we added on (deluxe open bar, classic hors devours, buffet with prime rib added, viennese dessert table, cappuccino and espresso), we actually paid less than we had anticipated (we skipped the wedding cake just because neither of us cared about cake and loved the dessert table - which so many guests also raved about, btw).

Bottom line: I couldn't have dreamed up a better venue. It was stunningly beautiful, every member of the team is a dream to work with, everything ran smoothly, and it was quite literally the best day we ever had. I have SO MUCH gratitude for the Danversport team and cannot recommend them enough. If you are on the fence, work with them. You will not regret it.

Our experience with Danversport went above and beyond our expectations. This venue will forever hold a very special place in my heart. We fell in love with this venue instantly after only looking at one other venue first. I remember driving onto the property in snowy December and falling in love with it, without even seeing how gorgeous it really is in the summer! In the months leading up to our wedding, every question or concern we had, our coordinator Michael responded to right away. This honestly helped make the wedding planning process a very low stress experience for us. In the days right before the wedding, I was able to drop off the many crafts and centerpieces I had made and shared my vision for our wedding with Michael. He set everything up exactly how I had envisioned it so when we arrived for our rehearsal dinner we were able to peek into the Garden View Terrace room to see everything coming to life. Our rehearsal dinner was under the tent at Danversport as well, with a beautiful view of the water beside us. We played yard games and beach volleyball and took pictures with the gorgeous views. Our wedding day could not have gone any more perfectly thanks to Michael and Lisa who kept us calm while running the show seamlessly. Not to mention making sure we had a cocktail from our mason jar station in our hands about a minute after the ceremony ended, and a tray of hors d’oeuvres in front of us immediately after that. They made sure everything was perfect for us the entire night. Not only was our experience wonderful, but our guests all raved about the venue as well! We can not recommend Danversport more!

When I 1st met Michael he was pleasantly warming, informative, professional and reassuring. His demeanor convinced me Danversport was my venue of choice along with the beauty of the venue itself! The food tasting was one of my favorite moments when planning! Food is important, it was delicious and my guest are still talking about it! There was only one miscommunication and it was that, another couple getting married the same day in the smaller ballroom, would be using the gazebo (we were told goes with the big ballroom we rented) an hour prior to our wedding making it inconvenient for it to get decorated early as discussed upon our initial meeting. I found out closer to the wedding that another couple would be using it, but thank goodness people I hired made it work & look the way I wanted it to. I will say during the wedding Michael and Derek both were extremely professional, attentive and on top of everything! Michael helped to make sure everything went by smoothly. My husbands pants came lose and he did not hesitate, he ran and went to get him a safety pin. Ironically soon after my 2nd dress came lose in the back and he again swiftly went and got me safety pins & stood there to help put it together! He grabbed my belongings out the limo when I was tied up with our guest so I could have things I needed in my posession! He came to make us aware his night was over towards the end of the night and made sure we didn't need anything else before he left for the night. Danversport is beautiful, clean and the food is delicious! Only suggestions I have is to offer the bride & groom if they want to take the remaining cake with them being we were busy. Also, due to weather, to be a bit more accommodating to early arriving guest, because being that it was over 100 degrees outside, thank goodness that Derek, with no hesitation was trying to be accommodating to the guest with providing a jug of water that technically needed to be paid for and offered them to go under an unused tent for shade. Not complaining I loved my wedding and the location, just sharing what i believe to be valuable information! Again, thank you Danversport your location is beautiful and hats off to the chef!!!

They where amazing they plan pretty much everything so you don't have to worry. Extremely professional and helped me with everything from fixing my dress to making sure everyone was having a great experience I absolutely loved them.

Choosing to get married at Danversport was the best decision we made. From the initial meetings, I was impressed with the staff and how they really give each couple a personalized experience. Their simple pricing model also makes it really easy to understand how much you'll spend and so many things are included that makes the planning so much easier. I was impressed throughout the planning process by the responsiveness, flexibility, and knowledge of all members of the staff. Every time I contacted the venue, no matter who answered, they all knew all the details of our day and could address our questions. The day of was fantastic. Our guests are still giving us compliments on how fantastic the venue was. The highlights were definitely the staff and the food. Danversport made my dream wedding come true! They are all super nice! They answered my hundreds of emails and phone calls. They set up everything exactly how I pictured it! We contacted Danversport at the suggestion of some friends. We called on Monday and got married on Friday! Yes, we planned our wedding in one day! It was a small, intimate affair and the Danversport made it simple! We met with them, chose the room, the cake, the color scheme and they handled it all! They were so accommodating and our wedding was”stress free”! We had a beautiful evening and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was, how awesome the service was, we had a magical evening! The entire staff was just incredible, so helpful and a delight to work with! I highly recommend this venue!

We had our wedding at Danversport in early September and couldn't have been happier. We had our ceremony outside and the reception in the Garden Terrace room. The marina was the perfect backdrop for our wedding and the pergola was well groomed with fresh flowers and greenery. The staff at Danversport is the main selling point though. Everybody we worked with was incredibly friendly and more than accommodating. Nancy was the coordinator for our wedding day and she worked behind the scenes the entire time to make sure everyone was in the right places and following the program we laid out for the evening. The food was terrific and the vendors even got a full meal! Danversport helped take the surprises out of our wedding day with their pricing structure. Everything they shared with us included gratuities and taxes - they made it so easy! There's been recent renovations to the venue and they were stunning. The Garden Terrace room has a new floor and bar. It was gorgeous! We're so glad we chose Danversport Yacht Club for our wedding. Our guests and vendors had nothing but good things to say as well!

We picked Danversport because we wanted our entire wedding on the water including the ceremony. Ron and all of the staff were very helpful throughout the year while planning. When it came to the big day everything was perfect from the ceremony, cocktail hour, to the reception. The set up was more than I could have ever dreamed of. The food was amazing. The sweets gala table was perfect as well. My guests keep asking me where they can get more desserts from the wedding. The staff made sure the night went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend Danversport for your wedding.

The team at Danversport is what sold us on choosing it as our venue for our June wedding! From the moment that they gave us a tour of the place and told us about their different options, we knew it was the perfect spot. A few top things we loved the most about the Danversport:

1. The TEAM! Ron, Mike, Nancy, Derek, Katelyn, Lauren - were all amazing with helping me plan the wedding. They were always a quick phone call or an email away and they would get back to me super quickly. And Ron and Mike were amazing on my wedding day. Honestly, the day could not have gone any smoother. I got so many comments from guests during the wedding and now weeks later, that they were so nice, accommodating, and a few people said that they just felt like the team cared so much about the event and weren't just "working another event".

2. The TEAM! Lynne was also with me on my wedding day - when we got up to the bridal suite before the ceremony, she came right up and asked what we needed or wanted. We asked if we could actually have the flower girl's kids meal before the ceremony since she was getting hungry - 5 minute later, she was back with her chicken fingers and fries. She made sure that I had everything I needed - and when my maid of honor ran into the bathroom to look for safety pins when my bustle came undone, Lynne noticed her panic and followed her in and asked what she needed and came back with safety pins for us.

We literally are over the moon happy about how amazing our wedding was at Danversport. The food was amazing, team was awesome, prices were unbeatable, location was fantastic, and we will forever and always recommend them to everyone we know! Thanks Danversport!

They're truly wonderful. Ron is my favorite! Lynne is wonderful too! We have the most beautiful pictures since the views are stunning there! Everyone is nice and friendly. And I looked at a lot of venues but this was easily the best value. Ah!! I just loved our day and couldn't imagine it anywhere else.

It wasn’t long after I met Elyse that I knew I would spend the rest of my life with her and when she said “Yes”, she made me the happiest man alive! Since that magical moment, my now fiancé and I have set out to plan the wedding of our dreams. From the very beginning, we knew a “cookie cutter” wedding reception was out of the question as we wanted to put our own personal touch in every little detail. After our initial search we thought we had found just that in a “do-it-yourself” wedding venue. The idea was to rent out the space and plan everything else ourselves. Sounds stress free, right?!?... Wrong! We soon found out planning an entire wedding on our own on top of our day jobs was overwhelming to say the least. With every new vendor came a new personality to work with and a new budget to manage, which brings up another interesting point; contrary to popular belief, the “do-it-yourself” option is very expensive!

The last thing my fiancé and I wanted was for this experience to be stressful. We always thought planning a wedding together would be fun. With that said, we decided to take a break and reassess. We broaden our horizons on our venue search and figured there must be something out there to better suit our needs. It wasn’t long before the Danversport Yacht Club (DYC).

Yes, the ballrooms and views at the DYC are gorgeous, which were a big selling point for us but it is the world-class staff that sets them apart. When we first arrived to view the property we were greeted by one of the DYC managers, Ron Bilodeau. Since that day, Ron has been with us every step of the way… suggesting and working with our vendors, designing our menu, and even helping us add in custom features to set our wedding apart. I would highly recommend considering this venue for you wedding.

Wow... just outstanding in every way. When we brought our brother in law to help us deliver reception decor the day prior to our wedding, he asked, "can these people make it any easier for you?!" And the answer is no! We had a perfect experience! Stunning venue inside and out, superb and really delicious food, complete care and attention from every staff member we worked with from day one. They treated us like we were their only bride and groom, answered every question and email promptly, and made sure we got everything we wanted. We trusted them completely with our day and they really did make every step of the planning process clear, easy, and enjoyable. The wedding packages include so much for the money and make planning so much more straightforward. They handled my food allergy perfectly which was critically important to me. Every single one of our 140 guests commented on their delicious meals and how great of an overall experience they had there. Our personal staff member for the day was Heather and she is just the best...so kind, helpful, and had everything under control. We felt catered to and so did our guests. My husband and I just got married at Danversport and LOVED it. Every person who works in their special events dept is amazing and super helpful! They really made the wedding stress free. They go over everything with you and make sure you know exactly what you're paying for. Their prices are super competitive - I didn't see another venue that even came close to Danversport.

Danversport exceeded my expectations for my wedding. The ceremony was at the gazebo which is beautiful and my reception was held in the Lighthouse Point room . The staff at Danversport were extremely calming, helpful, friendly and reassuring. I had the pleasure to work closely with Nancy and Kim...lovely women. The food was delicious and all my guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I love the fact that there are no hidden fees at Danversport and they are a very affordable venue. We left our first meeting at Danversport knowing it would be our reception venue. The grounds were beautiful and there was plenty of room to accommodate all our guests. Danversport made the planning process easy from the tasting to the invitations and final meeting. Every time I called I got someone on the phone right away. They were very organized with giving us deadlines. We met Nancy the day we went to look at invitations. She was very helpful and went above and beyond for us. We requested her as our coordinator for the day. The final meeting we had with Nancy she accommodated us by meeting with us at 9:00pm due to our work hours and stayed until all out questions were answered.
The day of the wedding went perfectly thanks to Nancy and the entire staff. Nancy greeted the car as we pulled up and made sure the entire day ran smoothly. She let us take pictures a little longer because we were running late from the church due to traffic. She made sure all our requests were met and that we had a terrific day.

The entire staff was so helpful and we are so glad we chose Danversport Yacht club as our reception venue!

From the moment we first walked in, we fell in love with Danversport! The staff was attentive and helpful throughout
the entire process. Nancy is amazing and had everything under control and Derek was very helpful too. The food and service was excellent! The entire event
was a success and guests are still talking about what an amazing wedding it was!

Very easy to work with. They have every little detail set up for you. We had the ceremony outside on the water at the gazebo. Cocktail hour on a huge deck overlooking the marina. The main ballroom was gorgeous. All of our guests were complimenting the food all night. The staff was very helpful all night.

Getting married at Danversport Yacht Club was absolutely the best wedding-related decision we made.
We'd seen the photos online and knew we would love it, and even though when we saw it for the first time it was pouring rain, we weren't disappointed! It was lovely and so were the people. They were EXCELLENT at responding - I honestly think I emailed them practically once a week with questions and they literally responded within an hour every single time. Their chef accommodated all of our food allergies and happily created a delicious menu for us, and our wedding day ran like clockwork. It felt easy and effortless and I was able to just relax and enjoy.

After our ceremony our photographers asked us to take some photos in the adirondack chairs that sit out by the water. I hesitated to sit down because of my lovely white dress and what looked like dirt on the chair. One of our day-of coordinators was standing near-by and heard me say "is that going to get on my dress?" She looked at it and without any hesitation said, "Let me check!" Then sat down, wiggled around in the chair and stood up to see if anything rubbed off on her. She checked her clothes and went, "Nope, you'll be fine!" And we were able to get some really great photos there! If that's not amazing service - I don't know what is! :)

They were amazing! They had everything covered. I didn't have to worry about one thing. They have the whole thing planned from start to finish. The food is amazing there. So many guests were so impressed with the food.

The pricing and logistics were extremely easy to understand...especially compared to other places we visited.

The Danversport was exactly what we were looking for in a venue. Beautiful grounds set with the river as the back drop. The ballroom is gorgeous also. The food was excellent and all our guests commented on this. We also had open bar and you never had to wait for a drink. They took care of every last detail for you before and during the wedding. Our wedding went on without a hitch. It was the best day ever!

I had my wedding at Danversport Yacht Club in May! I fell in love the minute I walked in a year prior to book it. It was the grand ballroom upstairs and the first thing that caught my eye were the chandeliers! They are stunning! The night of the wedding was even more beautiful. We had the entire back patio and the weather was perfect! People had the option to go outside or stay inside! We had 300 guests and not once did we feel like we were crowded!! There was room for everyone and the dance floor was massive even with the amount of tables there. We didn't realize everyone was dancing until we saw the pictures and videos because that's how big it was! The food was delicious and the desserts....OMG EVERYONE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE SWEET GALA TABLE. They had never seen so many desserts and delicious may I add! 4 tables of all different assortments! Couldn't of asked for a better place to enjoy my reception! The grounds were absolutely beautiful! The gazebo was a great place to take pictures right on the water! The staff was super accommodating and met every need of ours! There was actually a medical emergency at the beginning of the reception and because my husband and I were not around when it happened, people were complimenting the staff on how professionally and how calmly it was handled! Every detail was met and every expectation I had was met! I couldn't be happier with my choice of having my wedding there and my husband and I have and continue to go there for dinners! We love it there!!!! Great wedding venue!!!

TThis was one of the first venues we checked and after seeing 2 others, we decided to choose the DYC. We were a little worried because the room we chose was a little small for dancing (we had less than 90 people, so the lighthouse point room fit our needs). I also loved the idea of all the food and cake being taken care of through them and everything was all included in one price. So I didn't need to worry about catering or paying for an outside cake vendor. We originally met with Ron and he was great. Lauren and Heather always responded to my emails promptly (and I sent many!) Heather was amazing the day of our wedding. She did everything we needed her to and things we didn't think of, she even helped my daughter with my bustle. I had a lot of things go wrong the day of my wedding, but I'm happy to say the DYC has nothing to do with any of them. Everything was taken care of. We had 3 gluten free and 1 dairy free guest and they were accommodating to all of their meals and even gave out 3 gluten free cupcakes that we purchased for those guests. We gave them the guests names and table numbers and everyone who should have gotten one, did! I have no words for the food! No one complained about anything! The seafood trio literally melted in your mouth. The carrots could have been cooked more, but the main dish was AH-MAZING! We dropped all of our stuff off the afternoon before the wedding and had specific instructions on which centerpieces needed to go where and they were exactly where they should have been. I needed a framed picture of my dad in the front row, first seat and there it was. The only small negative I have, is that the lighthouse point room doesn't have an area for the bride/bridal party to get dressed. I won't call it a complaint, because they completely accommodated me. There wasn't another wedding going on while mine was, so I was able to get dressed in the picture room for the garden terrace bride. I would recommend the DYC to everyone for a wedding!!

Danversport Yacht Club was the perfect venue for us! Our wedding ceremony was at a church a town over, so the location was perfect. The coordinators and service staff are incredible! The food is excellent and the venue is accomodating for big and small weddings.

The pricing is completely based on a per person rate with no additional hidden fees. You know exactly what you're paying with that final head count.

My wife and I have nothing be good things to say about Danversport! Highly recommend the venue. It's almost worth it for the food tasting night alone!

I could not have asked for a more perfect venue to celebrate my wedding! This was the first venue that we looked at and immediately knew that we wanted to have our reception in the ballroom. Everything was perfect! Our guests could not stop talking about the food, as it was simply delicious. We opted to get the Gala Sweet table and it has been something that our guests cannot stop talking about since the wedding. Our coordinator for the night helped us from the very start and ensured that all details were just as we had spoken about and even added some special touches! Since our wedding was at night, the atmosphere of the ballroom was wonderful, as we had all the lights shining from the chandeliers and the lights leading up the stairs outside was just enough for some great photos. Danversport Yacht Club was a true gem and I am so pleased with everything… I cannot thank them enough!

Danversport gave us a great Thursday deal and allowed us to cut costs in a variety of ways. They took care of all the decorations and made it a wonderful time. They also recommended inexpensive flower and photography vendors for us and made us feel special and respected even though we were on a tight budget. Thank you so much Danversport Staff!

Danversport Yacht Club was AMAZING! We arrived before cocktail hour to take pictures and they had a private room for us and our wedding party with TONS of appetizers and two waitresses to get everyone drinks! The appetizers and drinks kept coming. A manager followed us outside for pictures to get us what ever we needed. The photographers asked if we could go down to the docks for pictures and the manager quickly ran to go get the key with out hesitating to let us down there and we got the most beautiful pictures.

Our guests could not say enough about the food. The appetizers kept coming and the meals were very big! Everyone had more than enough to eat. The wait staff was friendly, accommodating and worked quickly and efficiently. They got people what ever the needed - drinks, more dressing, bread etc.

Mike and Ron were our room captains and they did a great job organizing and keeping everything on schedule while letting us know what was going on and making sure everyone of our guests were happy!

The venue was beautifully decorated and set up so there was plenty of room!

Everyone was happy and could not say enough of Danversport and their staff! We highly recommend them!

I could not have imagined having our wedding anywhere else! All of the staff was so helpful. Ron is the absolute best!!! Very professional and ensures that everything for your special day goes off without any problems, almost as if it was his own wedding day.

We had our wedding here June 2014 and all I can say is that it was amazing and perfect! We received such amazing personal care and attention at Danversport Yacht Club that it seemed like we were their only clients. Michael was our coordinator and he went above and beyond which truly exceeding our expectations.

My husband and I are thoroughly impressed with the venue and the staff. After the wedding countless individuals told me that everyone working there was so polite and so organized. There was no aimless wandering, puzzled looks, or strange downtime. Cocktail hour was set up amazingly outside in the newly renovated Garden Terrace, and greeting the guest with a glass of champagne as they arrived was a beautiful touch. I have heard over and over again that the food was insanely good (which we already knew) but it only adds to our overall satisfaction and experience.

I planned my wedding from across the country and am a very detailed person. I called so many times with so many questions and they were always great about it. I don't drink very often and the only thing I like they didn't have in stock so they special ordered it for me. I had a HUGE list of details for the wedding and they executed everything amazingly!!!! I couldn't be happier with the service I received!! The brought everything I had in my head to life!!

But what makes Danversport special is the people who work there: they made us feel "taken care of" and as though planning a wedding was easy! Everyone was so nice and so organized. Their wedding packages include everything, with many choices, for very reasonable prices - we felt like we got excellent value in every way. The food, from hors d'oeuvres through dessert and wedding cake, was plentiful and absolutely delicious - our guests were raving about it!

Our Event Coordinator, Nancy, went "the extra mile" to make everything run so smoothly at the wedding. She was such a lovely person and was a real pleasure to work with. She made us feel like royalty!

If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, you really don't have to look any further than Danversport Yacht Club. This was the only venue my husband and I looked at and from the moment we walked in, we knew this was where our wedding was going to be. Their entire team is very knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions. I myself am an event planner and wanted a venue that I did not have to be a planner on my wedding day, and Danversport far exceeded my expectations and had me completely at ease the entire process. Both our ceremony and reception were held at DYC - it looked like it may rain and Ron and his team had both outdoors and indoors set-up and did not make me feel rushed to make a decision. We wound up sticking with our plan to hold it outside, the rain held off and they even put heaters outside for guests since it was a bit chilly. The ballroom was breathtaking and every detail was covered. Our cake was missing the flower topper it was supposed to have and Ron fashioned together a topper using roses from some of our arrangements and it looked beautiful. The food and service was AMAZING - I am still hearing from guests how incredible the cocktail hour was (the food literally just kept on coming with no end) and how delicious the meal was. Ron and Derrick tended to our every need that night and were so accommodating. DYC really went above and beyond to make our wedding beautiful and special and I cannot thank them enough.

They were the most amazing, professional group of individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! They went above and beyond and nearly bent over backwards to accommodate all of our wants and needs. They went so far as to allow us to offer a Grooms BURGER as a menu option because my fiance(husband!!) loves burgers! It rained the day of and the held giant umbrellas so we could still hold the ceremony outdoors! And price wise I couldn't find a better more inclusive price anywhere, especially for such a stunning location!
