Danielle Forte did my makeup for my wedding and I cannot recommend her enough! I came to Danielle after a makeup trial with someone else that I hated, and she completely turned the experience around for me. The most beautiful I’ve ever felt!
Danielle was absolutely amazing. She made me feel so beautiful on our wedding day. My makeup lasted all day long, even through all the happy tears, and still looked flawless by the end of the night.
She was incredibly kind and so accommodating throughout the entire process. As someone with fair skin, finding a makeup artist I felt confident with was really important to me, and I trusted her completely. She exceeded every expectation and made me feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful.

Danielle is a wedding must-have!
I first connected with Danielle after spending hours searching Instagram for Makeup Artists. I loved her work and reached out immediately. She responded very quickly and we scheduled my trial! At the trial, I was very impressed by her makeup studio and felt very comfortable with her.
On the day of the wedding, she brought another Makeup Artist to help out. In total, 9 women got their makeup done. Both Danielle and her assistant did amazing jobs and everyone looked so beautiful!

I felt like a beautiful bride!
Danielle was beyond wonderful during the wedding planning processes. I thought her services were very reasonably priced and her professionalism was beyond exceptional! Danielle is so sweet and made me very comfortable during our time spent together during our makeup trial and on the wedding day. I even reached out to her regarding a second trial the week of the wedding because I had a last minute change of heart in how I wanted to look on my special day. She was super quick to respond and was more than happy to do a second trial! I absolutely adored the way she did my make up on the day of the wedding, I had never felt that beautiful before! What I loved most about my makeup is that I felt that she had highlighted my natural beauty rather than contouring me to look different than how I truly appear. I also really loved how she did my mom and bridesmaids makeup! They all looked so beautiful and truly glowed! I highly recommend Danielle, you will not be disappointed!

Danielle did my engagement photo makeup, a bridal trial, and my wedding makeup. I was a little nervous to have my makeup professionally done because I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup and it was important to me to still look and feel like myself on my wedding day. Danielle 100% nailed it!
She took my feedback for a natural and “glowy” look. She is also extremely easy to talk to and makes you feel so comfortable while you are getting your makeup done.
I LOVED how my makeup turned out and the same for all of my bridesmaids and my moms too! Everyone was extremely happy and looked so beautiful.
She is also very punctual and organized which is key for your wedding day! Danielle is amazing at what she does and I can’t recommend her enough!

Amazing make-up!
Danielle is a make-up artist goddess. My Asheville wedding was cancelled due to COVID restrictions. I emailed Danielle for a small Wilmington wedding and she quickly responded. She made everything so easy, came to our house, and make us look amazing. I have been in several weddings as bridesmaids (Danielle has done my make-up 3 times) and she is by far the best! The make up looked natural (which is what I requested) and last all day long.

I can't possibly say enough about how fantastic Danielle is. She was always responsive, friendly, and is SO talented at what she does. Danielle was a pleasure to work with on our special day. Beyond her professionalism and good sense of humor, she has the most to offer in her field. The airbrush foundation is a MUST, along with the dramatic false lashes. We drove about 4 hours to have the trial session done, and rode home on the motorcycle. My makeup was still in tact!! I showed her several pictures of looks I liked, and she immediately caught on to exactly what I wanted, and was able to replicate it for my face. I am looking for excuses to have my makeup done again by her because I have never felt so gorgeous. Thank you Danielle!

She was able to get me in touch with a great hair stylist too (Rosalie - owner of Top Knot Studio). I was struggling to find an affordable makeup option that was high quality and was thankful to find her. She was contracted to do the makeup for my Mom, mother-in-law, and myself, but ended up doing two other bridesmaids and was extremely flexible! She came to us at no additional charge, worked on a tight schedule, and I could not have been happier with my makeup. Danielle does a truly fantastic makeup job!
For my son's wedding, I asked Danielle to make me look glamorous and have my eye makeup really stand out. WOW - She did that and more!
The total look was not overdone, it was simply AMAZING! I received many, many compliments on my makeup, especially my eye makeup.
Danielle also did my sister's and my older son's girlfriend’s makeup - they too looked amazing and received many compliments on their makeup.

Danielle was amazing! Found her through wedding wire and also through recommendations from other make up artists. My bridesmaids and I wanted to feel the most beautiful on my wedding day and Danielle most definitely achieved that. She was professional and fun all morning lunch. People are still commenting on how much they loved our make up! Danielle and I mostly communicated through emails and she was quick with her responses and was very flexible to my schedule. I highly recommend using her for your make up services and can't wait until I can personally use her again for another event.

Danielle is amazing! From the very beginning she was professional, easy to work with, and very talented. Makeup was one thing I knew I didn’t want to worry about on the day of the wedding. Not only did she make me look and feel gorgeous, she also did an amazing job with the makeup for all of my bridesmaids and my mother. It was a real pleasure to work with her. Danielle did make up for my three bridesmaids, my mom, and myself on my wedding day. She was absolutely wonderful to work with from beginning to end! She was really flexible in setting up trials and the day of. My make up was exactly how I envisioned it. I felt beautiful and got lots of compliments. She was also a lot of fun to be with as we were all getting ready.

For my Wedding I used Danielle for my makeup and my bridal party. Danielle had great communication with me. She was on time. She did 4 bridesmaid and myself. She did an amazing job. My makeup lasted all day and night. I got a ton of complements. I also booked her to do my makeup for a wedding I was attending and she did awesome again. I plan on using her in the summer for some family photos I'm having done. I would definitely recommend her for your Wedding Day or even other events you have in mind!

Danielle has done my makeup on several occasions. The first time I met her was for a photoshoot for a local magazine. She paid so much attention to detail and made adjustments for every look. Her makeup was flawless. I met her again on a shoot for another local vendor, and again the makeup was again, incredible. It was natural and even and beautiful, she made it very natural and absolutely stunning. I decided that day that when I get married, i'm calling her. I had headshots made in Oct of last year and again, it was stunning. Danielle knows what she's doing and is incredibly reliable. She's moves quickly and leaves you with a flawless makeup job. I would recommend her to anyone needing their makeup done for an event, a wedding and/or a photoshoot.

As an editorial photographer, Danielle is my go-to makeup gal! She consistently does an amazing job, uses her training and expertise to make suggestions, and is really good at listening to suggestions from the editorial team to create the look we want. Not only is she great at her job as a makeup artist, but she is super reliable. When she says she will be there at a certain time, she arrives at that time, which can be tough to find in this town! I am always impressed with Danielle's work overall and am so happy I found her!

Danielle was very professional, Punctual, flexible, and sweet. I had a couple people in bridal party ask if she could do their makeup as well night before and she was able to do it no problem. I was so pleased with how it turned out. Would use her for any event in future.

I had my makeup trial with Danielle and it went so well I booked her for my wedding. I instantly hit it off with Danielle when I met her, we found out that we had a lot in common and she made me feel like a friend and not just another client. She did an INCREDIBLE job with my makeup and made me feel absolutely beautiful and I still felt like myself. I didn't feel "overdone" like I did with other makeup artists that I had trials with before Danielle. On my wedding day I even had to do a last minute time change due to a bad storm and Danielle was so amazing, she was able to accommodate the change and save the day! It has now been a few months since my wedding and I just had my 10 year high school reunion and I wished Danielle lived in Orlando (where I am from) so she could have done my makeup for my reunion! :)
Danielle is an amazing makeup artist that clearly has years of experience and truly listens to your vision so you get exactly when you want, while exceeding your expectations! Danielle is a MUST!

Danielle was essential on our wedding day! She was scheduled to provide back up services (makeup for 2 or 3 bridesmaids), but due to the lead makeup artist's packed schedule that day, ended up doing most of the bridesmaids and both mom's herself. She really stepped up to the plate and stayed long after she originally planned to be there to make sure we all looked our best (despite being 8 months pregnant and on her feet all morning!). All of the women looked amazing and she was an expert at calming my pre-walk-down-the-aisle jitters.

I had the pleasure of having Danielle as my makeup artist for my business advertisement photos. I asked her to make me look like a polished version of myself, and she did just that. She listened to my needs and made me look stunning. Plus, she pushed me outside of my box a bit and gave me a bright red lip for one of the shots. I still receive endless compliments on my photos and that's thanks to Danielle! She definitely helped me put my best face forward!

Danielle was amazing! I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day thanks to her fantastic makeup skills. I did a trial with her, and experienced some smudging later on that day. On my wedding day, Danielle made sure to use different products that she knew would last all day and night, and it truly did. I was so appreciative that she took the time to change out products that didn't work the first time on me for new ones. I would recommend Danielle to anyone looking for amazing makeup. She will not let you down!

She did an amazing job. The half a star is only because her airbrush machine was out of service at the time. Other than that I was extremely pleased!! I flinch uncontrollably when someone goes near my eyes and I'm a little embarrassed by it. She was very kind and told me it was no big deal.

Danielle was great to work with! I was able to purchase a package from her, which included a makeup trial as well as my wedding day makeup. My mom and matron of honor had their makeup done on the wedding day as well, and they looked beautiful. Danielle did a great job, and I feel like her prices are competitive.
