  Best wedding hire!

  Danielle was far and away the best choice we made for our wedding! From the first time we spoke to her, she was sweet, calming, knowledgable and so much fun. During our engagement session she was willing to try new poses and spots, but also helped guide us through every moment when we weren't as adventurous. Her timeline creation skills were incredible and she knew exactly how much time we'd need for each moment. I knew that I could always reach out if I had an idea for a pose or photo spot that I wanted to add to the list, or if I just had any other random wedding related questions. On the day of, she was an EXTREMELY calming force in the room for me, and helped keep everyone on time and relaxed. I cannot recommend Danielle enough and will absolutely be using her for any and all photography needs in the future!

  Best decision we made!

  Let me start by saying that Danielle Flake is one of the sweetest and kindest souls you'll ever meet. I met Danielle for the first time back in March 2014 because she was the photographer at one of my best friends weddings. She was so great! Since then, we've got to watch her work again as she has shot 2 other of our good friends weddings and every time she blows me away with how TALENTED she is! I just knew that when it was finally my turn to get married I HAD to have her. Fast forward to 2018 and I am happily engaged, Danielle was the very first vendor we booked for our October 2019 wedding. I didn't know where we were getting married or what food we would eat, but I knew I had one of the best photographers on my team!
  Danielle and her husband have been photographing weddings for years and, as a bride let me tell you, you NEED an experienced photographer! She is very knowledgeable and a great multitasker. For me and my fiancé, we personally had not done many "professional" photos, so we were both a bit nervous. Danielle does a GREAT job at getting you to relax and captures AUTHENTIC smiles which believe it or not is very hard to do when you're being photographed for multiple hours on your wedding day. She shows up on time and organized which makes for SUCH a smooth process. Wedding day is chaos with all the moving parts and vendors that it could seem overwhelming, but not to Danielle. She sets up a timeline with you way in advance (and your wedding planner/coordinator if you have one) and allows plenty of time for all the vendors to do their thing and everyone to work seamlessly.
  Our wedding photos turned out better than I had even imagined which is really saying something because I've seen how good she is...for years! She really takes the time to get to know you and your fiancé on a personal level and that connection allows her to capture magic through her lens. Just take a scroll through some of her galleries; her talent speaks for itself!
  
  We are so very thankful to have hired Danielle Flake Photography for our wedding and will cherish the memories she captured forever!

  Our experience

  Danielle is amazing. She took my senior pictures in high school, and so it was so special to have her photograph my wedding. I did a bridal portrait session with her a couple months before the wedding and it was so fun. She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and I really felt like myself in the photos. She made me laugh a lot and really helped me to relax. On our wedding day she arrived early and had a second photographer with her. They were both incredible. We had a very large bridal party and a very large family so photos had the potential to be very hectic, but she handled it wonderfully and really kept us on track. We got married on a Saturday and by Monday we had an email with a sneak peek of our pictures and they were all so beautiful!! I love that her editing style is classic and clear, not too trendy or tinted. I know that our photos are classic, and will never feel out of style. She did such an incredible job, I look forward to using her for other special life events. She is amazing!

  Danielle is incredible! She did our engagement and wedding photos and we have been absolutely blown away by how beautiful her photographs are! She makes us look far better than we do haha and her photographs are dreamy! She was also the best on the wedding day and is so fun and professional at the same time and just so easy to be around!! I would highly recommend her and we are all dying to see the rest of her photos because she is so talented t is unreal!!!

  Danielle (and her husband Michael) were so awesome to work with. They had such a great collaborative vibe on our wedding day.
  
  Danielle made us feel so at ease the whole day and we had so much fun! She even made sure we left for a bit during our reception to get a few photographs since the whirlwind of the day left us with only a few pictures of just the two of us. She also did our engagement photos and was willing to hike through a wooded state park to get us shots in some of our favorite spots. We definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding day!

  Danielle was absolutely wonderful to work with! She is a sweetheart and went out of her way to make us very comfortable and get the shots we wanted at the engagement session and on the wedding day. We love the photographs she took. She shot a lot of it using film, which gave the pictures a beautiful ethereal feel. She did a spectacular job capturing unique portraits during the engagement session and first look on the wedding day, and also captured some great candid moments during the ceremony and reception. I would absolutely recommend working with her! We are so happy that we chose Danielle for the big day, she did not disappoint!

  Danielle Flake is the best photographer I have ever used. She has done everything from our family photo sessions, senior portraits and graduation sessions, to our 25th wedding anniversary party. Her prices are beyond reasonable and the quality of her photography is incredible! I would recommend her photography services to anyone I know and for any type of memorable life moment. Danielle isn't just your photographer, she becomes a part of your family!!

  Thanks again for providing a first class service! With one of the biggest days of our lives and a snow storm that made the day very stressful Danielle was excellent and I'm not sure I could have made it through that day without her. She truly captured the essence of our day and we have so many wonderful images.

  Danielle WAS INCREDIBLE! I hired her to shoot both my wedding day and my bridal portraits. The first time I met Danielle I knew she would be so easy to work with, and boy was I right! She has such a glowing personality about her and is always wanting to work with you! Danielle worked with my budget perfectly and was always coming to me with ideas for photo poses that he found on my pinterest! She didn't just "show up," but really took the time to learn what it was I wanted from every shoot. Hiring Danielle was the best decision I made in my entire planning process (and I definitely had some photographer mishaps along the way). Danielle brings her husband Michael with her during weddings to help with shooting, and he too was so professional and fun to work with! Danielle had such quick turnaround time and within weeks all my wedding photos were being delivered to my doorstop! Danielle truly loves what she does, and she loves her clients! Each time i received photos they were put in a box that was always packaged in some creative manner. When my wedding photos arrived, she sent a thank you card and a gift for me. At Christmas time, I also received a package with a movie gift card and some candy, thanking me for hiring her (this was months before my wedding was even to take place)! Danielle was by far one of my very favorite vendors and I have already planned other photo sessions, just so I can work with her again! She made me feel so special on my wedding day! She showed up early and left late, telling me not to worry that my day was all about me and she wanted to help make it perfect! WOW! Talk about a truly gracious person! Danielle's work is fabulous and her knowledge and experience far exceed her amazing (truly reasonable) prices!
