Loved working with Daniela!

Having Daniela as my makeup artist for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made! She has an incredible ability to understand exactly what you want, even when you’re unsure how to express it. Her work is truly stunning—everyone loved my makeup and hair, and I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life. Daniela made me feel special and confident throughout the whole process.

Not only is she a talented artist, but she’s also the sweetest, most patient person. I don’t usually wear much makeup, so I was nervous about how I would feel, but she quickly understood my vision and made me feel completely at ease. I adore her and would recommend her to anyone!

Amazing bridal hair!

Daniela was the best! From our trial to the day of my wedding she was super helpful and always so nice! During my trial we were able to look at a couple of options and she helped me pick the perfect style. On the day of, I asked for a small tweak and she really delivered exactly what I had envisioned! She was also very knowledgeable and helped me to work work with my normal hair stylists to get my clip in extensions trimmed. Not only was my hair great, but the styles she did on my bridesmaids was amazing. She is experienced with different updos and half up styles and everyone was very happy with their looks. I cannot thank Daniela enough for the great experience and making sure I looked amazing for my special day!

Daniela is the best!

Daniela did the hair and makeup for me at my August 2021 wedding and for 7 bridesmaids and my mother and was absolutely wonderful. I did a trial with her a few months before and she was so professional and the hair and makeup came out great. On the wedding day, the hair and makeup turned out exactly as planned. All the bridesmaids looked beautiful and were thrilled with their hair and makeup. Daniela brought in two other girls to keep us on schedule and help get everyone styled in time and finished exactly on time. The other girls were wonderful too and did a great job. Scheduling and communication was a breeze--all via email with an easy and professional way of paying and signing the contract. She created a schedule for the day and let me make some changes last minute to the schedule when one of my bridesmaids asked to go last. I would absolutely recommend Daniela for hair/makeup. I wanted something classic and not too over the top and felt beautiful on the day, as did all my bridesmaids and my mom. I'm confident she could handle any style and really appreciated how I still felt like me despite wearing more makeup than usual. Also, I have very curly hair and my hair stayed frizz-free all day of both the trial and the wedding. The day of the trial was particularly humid, and I was outside for several hours after and my hair stayed put and frizz free. Daniela is the best!

Outstanding.

Daniela is very easy to work with. She listened to my requests and provided suggestions. I loved the way i look on my wedding day, both hair and makeup. I don’t wear makeup on a daily basis and i don’t know a lot about makeups. I wanted a natural look and she captured what i wanted and more.

New York wedding

Daniela saved me! After my initial artist stopped replying I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to find a replacement. She remembered my initial inquiry and booked me right away! The artist was professional, kind, and on time! She listened to what I wanted and made sure all my concerns were taken care of! Her name also happened to be my late grandmothers name... first and last. A detail that still gives me chills. Thank you for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

Absolutely amazing!!

My family and bridesmaids used Daniela and her team for our hair and makeup on my big day. Everyone looked fabulous thoughout all of our pictures and all the way through the night. No makeup smudges of hair falling out. It stayed perfect the whole day!!
Her team was there and set up when we arrived to my venue and efficiently got everyone ready to go on time. They were all so kind and listened to what everyone wanted. I could not have asked for

Daniela is A M A Z I N G!

Daniela was so sweet and kind! She really listened to what I wanted. I was conflicted on what hairstyle I wanted because all of the hairstyles she did for me were all beautiful. I did book a second one a month before my wedding and she did squeeze me in for another hair trial. The day of my wedding, Daniela and her assistant were so calm and professional. They made all my bridesmaids, moms and myself so beautiful. I did tell her I wanted to make some changes to my makeup and she did it. She was on time and we didn't feel rushed at all. I highly recommend her! She is definitely a hard worker and has a wonderful talent.

Never felt more beautiful!

I cannot say enough about Daniela and her very talented team! She is the best in the business. Once she did hair and makeup for my best friend’s wedding, I knew I needed her for mine. She is nothing short of AMAZING!! She is extremely talented, friendly, caring, and takes pride in her work. I have referred her to all my bride friends. From the beginning, everything was very easy. Daniela will Exceed Expectations

I’m incredibly picky when it comes to hair/makeup...which is why I was expecting my wedding stylist experience to be a nightmare. Daniela Rodriguez was a dream come true. Besides being absolutely amazing at hair/makeup, Daniela is one of the most genuinely kind people I’ve ever met. She was extremely accommodating despite my last second requests - sure, my wedding day was as stressful as anyone’s, but hair/makeup was an element that I didn’t have to worry about at all. Daniela was Wonderful! I don't have much experience getting my makeup done and she made the process fun and stress free for me at my trial and the day of my wedding. I found Daniela here on Wedding Wire, and I cannot express how grateful I was to have found this gem! From the first contact with her and throughout the whole process, she made it so easy and enjoyable. Daniela brought along two other women (one hair, one make-up) to ensure that my whole bridal party was ready in plenty of time (bride, 7 bridesmaids, 2 moms). All three women were so talented and kind. I have spent more time talking here about the experience rather than the actual outcome - which I should say that I LOVED my hair and make-up! Both the hair and makeup stayed in place perfectly the entire day. I was even so exhausted that I went to bed with my hair still up, and I wore it the entire next day as well! Daniela was wonderful! She was extremely flexible when I set up my hair/makeup trial and went out of her way to accommodate my crazy schedule. When she came to my apartment for my trial, I felt like I was hanging out with a girlfriend that I've known my whole life. I felt very comfortable and relaxed with her, which made it even easier to trust her in making me beautiful. She did an amazing job at my trial. The day of the wedding she did myself, my mother/mother-in-law, 2 sisters, and friend. She did take her time with everyone which made me nervous that she wouldn't finish on time, but she kept assuring me that she would. She was right! She made all my girls beautiful just in time to go to the ceremony. I felt GORGEOUS - the most gorgeous I have ever felt in my life. I truly felt like a movie star - what more could you ask for as a bride!

I hired Daniela for my wedding January 16, 2016. We were 5 ladies getting both hair and makeup and Daniela & Vicky did fantastic jobs. All of our hair and makeup lasted all day & night, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Daniela was very responsive and took the time to understand what type of style I was looking for. She assigned Vicky as my stylist, and from the trial to the day of, she was perfect. We did everything we had discussed and even added some jewelry to my hair after the fact. My mom loved her look and one of my bridesmaid even had her hair extensions put in. I would very highly recommend Daniela and Vicky for your event.

Daniela and her team did hair & make-up for my wedding on 8/8/15. I could not be more thrilled with the work that she did for me and my 8 bridesmaids (plus several others who wanted to be included...!). I was happy to do a trial with her about 8 months in advance, which was not only a lot of fun, but also made me feel comfortable with my style options.

Daniela provides both hair & make-up services - I found that many vendors either do one or the other, but you get the whole package with her. Her rates are also very reasonable for the exceptionally high quality of work. Daniela is a wonderful person and a fantastic stylist - book her!

Leanna did my natural soft look hair and make-up for my daytime wedding. I felt very very beautiful and recognizable which is very important for me. This translated to my husband and guests to remark that I was glowing. I don't wear make-up often but I do know what a great make-up is and she nailed it. She highlighted my best features and made me feel comfortable during the trial and on the day-of. She used great products which lasted the whole day, and my make-up did not feel heavy at all. My hair and make-up translated really well in photos too. For the hair, she was able to excellently work with my fine, thin hair. She was very professional, punctual and easy to work with. I am very grateful Leanna! Thank you for sharing your skills and talent with me.

For the email communication, booking, payment etc, Daniela has an online set-up that made it very easy to the customer. She also responded promptly to all my inquiries via email.

Daniela is a great hair and makeup artist. She is a true professional and really knew what I was looking for in my hair and makeup from day one. Daniela was nothing but amazing! This is the second time we have used her for a wedding (first my sisters) and now my own wedding! She did 10 bridesmaids updo's and a great and reasonable price! My goodness, I cannot say enough about Daniela. I planned my sister's wedding and went with her simply by her reviews and thank God I did! She did the trial run for my sister's big day and I loved it, so I then decided to have her do mine, my other sister, and mother's hair & make up as well. She made us look natural & flawless. My family has completely different skin tones and complexions and she managed to make all of us looking amazing (without having met the 3 of us). I wish I could have her around for all of my events! Daniela did my hair and make-up for my wedding and she was amazing! I absolutely loved working with her! She is incredibly nice, sweet and very talented!

I'm not someone who wears makeup a lot so finding a makeup artist was one of the things I had a really hard time with during the wedding planning, but Daniela made the process so easy! I gave her a rough idea of what I wanted and it came out great at the trial and even better on the day of the wedding!

She showed up in our hotel on the day of the wedding right on time (which is to say really early at 6am) with her assistant and my hair and makeup were ready with plenty of time to spare. She remembered exactly what I wanted and didn't need any direction from me the day off. She also put in my hair extensions perfectly even though I decided I wanted them after the trial and we haven't tried them out yet.

Overall it looked exactly how I wanted it and the hair and make up lasted all day!

I'm really happy with everything. Thank you Daniela!

Daniela was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I was an indecisive bride when it came to hair and had changed my look various times throughout the wedding planning process but Daniela was right there with me making these changes! She was flexible and patient. I don't know much about makeup and had never had airbrush makeup applied but Daniela reassured me that she uses the best products and I am so glad that I trusted her with one of the most important days of my life! She arrived on time and worked in a timely manner, amd it just felt so comfortable working with her! My mom and Matron of Honor also had their hair and makeup done with Daniela and they could not stop taking selfies! Lol. Daniela is the best at what she does and I would recommend her to everyone!

Daniel was great to work with and I highly recommend her. She did a great job giving me and my bridesmaids a natural makeup look. She also did everyone's hair and no one looked too done-up, it was perfect and exactly how I requested. Her prices are very reasonable compared to other NYC stylists. Daniela and her team were absolutely wonderful! First of all, Daniela is the nicest sweetest person to work with. She is so accommodating and really understands exactly what you want for your hair and makeup. Having had really bad hair and makeup done at other weddings I have been in, I was very picky and nervous about it. I two trials with her before my wedding to get my look just right and she was very nice about it. On the day of my wedding, I could not have been happier!! She really understood exactly what I wanted and made me look like a better version of me. Also the airbrush foundation she uses lasts ALL DAY AND NIGHT! amazing.

My bridesmaids also loved her and her team's work. I had one bridesmaid who has been in over 10 weddings and she said Daniela's was by far the best hair and makeup team she had seen. All the girls loved their makeup and hair -- they all looked sophisticated and gorgeous, not pageant-y or garish. We had girls with many different skin tones as well -- pale blondes, a redhead, latinas, asian -- and everyone universally looked good. One bridesmaid who is getting married next fall in the new york area wants to hire Daniela and her team. Also, daniela and her team were extremely efficient -- we had 11 people have their hair and makeup done in just under 5 hours. Daniela brings enough stylists with her so that you dont have to start super early in the morning (for example, i was in a wedding where hair and makeup started at 7 am!!!!! i really didnt want that)

Overall so happy I went with Daniela and would recommend her and her team to anyone!

Daniela and her team were the absolute best a bride could ask for on her wedding day! I searched high and low for a hair and makeup stylist that would enhance the natural beauty of my bridal party on my wedding day. Everyone that had their hair and makeup done absolutely loved it! Daniela did my hair and makeup the day of my wedding. My makeup was flawless because she used airbrush foundation and even through the summer humidity it lasted all day! Additionally, she styled my fiancés hair which looked amazing! She is very talented and pleasant to work with! It was so great having the same person do both hair and makeup. Despite the chaos surrounding the wedding and getting ready, she remained professional, calm and did a great job! Definitely recommend!

Amaaaaazing is the word to describe Daniela! Not only did she do a fabulous job with my hair and makeup but she was extremely sweet and attentive to my needs. She also did my MOHs makeup and my flower girl's hair, she even put some makeup on her, free of charge. Everyone at my wedding kept complimenting my hair and makeup and saying how beautiful I looked. She must use great products because my makeup did not come off all night, not even with the tears rolling down my face. Highly recommended!

Daniela did a great job with my hair and makeup. It was easy to schedule a trial appointment, and she understood what I wanted and tried a few different looks. She was very flexible with adding a couple services for bridesmaids who changed their mind at the last minute. On the day of the wedding, she arrived and finished on time. I got a ton of compliments on my hair and makeup, and it looked great all day. My one complaint was that she didn't give me the touchup kit that was in the package, but it was obviously a hectic morning and I completely forgot to ask, so I'd take some of that blame too. Overall, definitely recommended!

I booked Daniela for my engagement shoot and wedding. I first met Daniela on the day of my engagement shoot in lower Manhattan. (The original date for my engagement shoot was called off because of bad weather. I called Daniela an hour before our appointment to cancel, and she was SO nice and accommodating, and gave me no trouble in rescheduling the appointment. How's that for 100% customer service?!?) I showed her my idea for hair and makeup, and she executed them perfectly. We reviewed what I did and didn't like, and she instantly made the changes I wanted until I felt completely comfortable. I don't usually wear much makeup, so the makeup felt a little heavier than I was used to, but she assured me that it would appear perfectly on camera...and it did! She did such an excellent job and was a great listener!

For my wedding, I had 3 girls and myself that were getting h+m done. Daniela brought in another girl to help out, and they arrived exactly on time. They were very efficient and skilled in fulfilling everyone's needs- my favorite were the airbrushing and individual application of fake lashes (which were included in the package price.) I asked her to change up my look a little from the engagement shoot, and she did a beautiful job. I LOVED everything she did, and I received complements all day long from guests.

I would highly recommend Daniela Rodriguez NYC to anyone looking for a hair + makeup artist- She is super talented, efficient, and professional. She is very responsive to emails and phone calls- She will listen to your needs and make you feel completely comfortable and beautiful!

Daniela is absolutely amazing!!! I booked with Daniela in January and when I did my trial shortly after booking, I was absolutely amazed. Zarielle, the stylist who did my makeup, is extremely talented. My skin is sensitive, oily and can be absolutely a hot mess. I was happy to have gone with Daniela. Her team is very professional and 11 women had their makeup done, including my mother, my mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, 4 bridesmaids, 2 maid of honors and me. I have never seen so many women so happy with the service provided by Daniela. My wedding was in July and in NY and my makeup was perfect! After the wedding, I went straight to my honeymoon in Costa Rica and didn't have the chance to remove my makeup and still looked fabulous despite the crazy amount of humidity. Zarielle stayed the entire day even as I was leaving to the ceremony and made sure that I looked good for my wedding. Daniela will make sure that the most insecure of women feels amazing and that is such an important feeling especially on your wedding day.

I used Daniela and her team for my bridal shower and wedding day. Daniela did my hair, my mother's, sister in law, mother in law, and a few bridesmaids. Daniela took the time to do a trial and was willing to play around with different styles until we were satisfied with the style we would be wearing on my wedding day. Daniela was a pleasure to work with prior to our wedding day as well as on our big day. I'm so glad I found her on weddingwire! She was one of the first vendors I booked for our wedding; she was friendly, professional, and most importantly prompt in replying to my emails, which is a must for me. She has an online system to book trial appointments which was very easy to use. We had to reschedule our first trial appointment last minute because of something that came up on her end, but she was more than apologetic, accommodating and willing to work with my schedule. Once I met with her she made me feel at ease and comfortable. She listened to my concerns and we worked on my look for the wedding day. I loved my hair and makeup after my trial, but unfortunately, I knew I couldn't use the same hairdo for our wedding day - It was a very intricate hairstyle with a lot of pins and my head started hurting within hours. She was very responsive through text when I told her that the style wouldn't work for the wedding and she immediately sent me a link to her calendar so that I could schedule a follow-up trial appointment. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule I was unable to book another appointment, but after having met her and knowing what she could do from her pictures on Instagram, I knew there was no need for a second trial. She arrived on time at my parent's house the day of our wedding and she worked on me, as well as my maid of honor's hair. I absolutely loved everything about my look. Daniela is very attentive to detail and even though we were running a little behind schedule and the photographer and videographer were hurrying us along, she was able to work under that pressure and still do a perfect job. My up-do and makeup remained intact the entire day. I know I will be using her services again in the future. Thank you, Daniela!

Daniela scheduled me with hair and makeup stylist Tena for my wedding. She was totally on time for the trial and did an excellent job, so I of course booked her. Between the trial and the wedding day I totally flipped my entire idea for me look…and totally spaced on getting in touch with Tena about it. But when she showed up the morning of my wedding and I dropped the bomb on her she more than rose to the task. She made my hair look exactly the way I wanted and my makeup was FLAWLESS. I was getting compliments on it all day and questions about who did it. Usually when it comes to makeup people typically say nothing to the bride and often make fun of the makeup behind her back. I would recommend Daniela's business and specifically Tena as an artist to anyone who asks. And if I ever have reason to get my makeup done professionally again, I will contact Daniela and request Tena specifically.

Daniela was so amazing to work with prior to my big day and make me feel so calm, confident and beautiful on my wedding day. From the first time I contacted her she was so friendly and professional. She was extremely patient and helpful in helping me figure out my hairstyle and makeup that I wanted for my trial and I left that day knowing I would be so happy on my wedding. On the day of myself, my mom, my sister in law and mother in law got their hair and makeup done and each one of them so extremely happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. I contacted Daniela about 10 months prior to my wedding, she was quick to respond to each email I sent her.

Up to the same week right before my wedding I was making changes and she was able to assist me with every change and made sure that everything worked out for me.

Zarielle!!!!!!!!! my hair and makeup stylist was the most sweetest person you would ever meet. I adore her, she kept me at ease throughout the whole day.

I was originally planning on doing my own wedding makeup, but decided to have a trial with Daniela to prove to myself that my own skills were enough. Boy, was I wrong. She was AMAZING. Super friendly, very responsive and the final product...WOW! Not only did the hair and makeup look amazing' but it lasted 14 hours without budging. I also enjoyed my nice, peaceful wedding morning with Daniela in my home because she's really friendly and easy to get along with. I highly highly recommend her services, even if she charged twice as much!

Daniela was the third vendor I contacted for hair and makeup. After being unhappy with my first trials and the prices some of the other companies wanted to charge me I started losing hope- but Daniela got back to me right away, and her prices were very fair. Even though Daniela was unavailable on my wedding date, she sent Tena to do my trial and she did a FANTASTIC job. She listened to what I wanted, and knew what she was doing. She was on time to both my trial and on my wedding date. She did an amazing job with both my hair and makeup, as well as the hair and makeup for all my bridesmaids and my mothers. On my wedding day she also brought Mallory to do hair and makeup and she did a fantastic job as well. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup on my wedding day and I am SO pleased with the job Tena did. Finding a make-up artist was very difficult for me. I love make-up and was actually scared of someone else doing my make-up on my wedding day! I didn't want to spend so much money on multiple trials so I looked at so many portfolios, websites, blogs, you name it. I really liked Daniela's work so I emailed her and got a very prompt response. The value was amazing and my trial with Zarielle was great.

On the day of the wedding Zarielle was awesome and fit right in with my friends and family. My mother, bridesmaid, and I looked absolutely gorgeous. I loved the way my make-up looked and I felt beautiful the whole day. Another important factor is that my make-up stayed put all night, even through dancing and tears! If anyone is struggling to find a make-up artist I would definitely recommend Daniela and her team, they will not disappoint!

Daniela did my hair and makeup and the hair and makeup of my five bridesmaids. She was great to work with during the trial, I had a basic idea of what I wanted and she took my ideas and came up with a beautiful look. My bridesmaids looked fantastic, and we were receiving compliments all night long. My husband in particular really liked my hair, he kept commenting on how good it looked (which is a rare thing!). Daniela and her two assistants were very friendly and relaxed on the wedding day, and is was really reassuring to be able to relax during the getting ready process and know that we were all going to look great. Daniela was amazing to work with! After contacting about a dozen hair & make-up artists, she was the only one who was so professional, quick to respond and with a great price (I had gotten quotes up to almost $2000!). After talking with Daniela and reviewing her portfolio I felt so comfortable that I booked her about a year and a half before my wedding without having a trial. As it got closer to the wedding I had my trail and loved every minute of it - Daniela took the images of hair styles and make-up colors that I liked and delivered a beautiful style that fit me & my personality perfectly (I kept calling the hair style my "Disney princess hair"!). The day of my wedding comes, and Daniela was right on time at the hotel we were getting ready at (maybe even a little earlier actually) and got right to work doing hair & makeup for my bridesmaids and I. All my girls looked so gorgeous! And everyone at our wedding could not stop saying how beautiful I looked (and I felt it too!). Thank you Daniela for helping to make my wedding day so magical!

Daniela was everything I was looking for when I was searching for a makeup artist, Friendly, sweet, open to suggestions and most important extremely attentive to my needs. She did everything she told me she would do on the day of the wedding and I couldn't express how grateful I was for that. She was punctual and efficient in managing to not only have me on schedule for everything else I had to, but she also had my bridesmaid in and out looking beautiful. Daniela was recommended to me by a friend of the family. She provided makeup and hair services for my wedding on November 24th, 2013. She is so personable that it felt like she was family! She did my makeup beautifully! She also did my mothers hair and makeup. My mother was very happy with her hair and makeup!! Daniela is truly a professional!! I absolutely loved my hair and make up for the day. Tena was really on top of her stuff. She knew what I wanted and I've been through 4 trials with other hair stylists and only one with her. The day of she was on time, and the venue was nearly 2 and a half hours away. The second stylist, Marisa was awesome as well. My sister and my mom never got a trial but their hair came out flawless. Great team and they pay a lot of attention to detail. They know what works for your hair type.

Daniela did my hair and makeup for my engagement photo shoot and she was wonderful! I love that she is able to do both hair and makeup, and she does both of them very well. The photo shoot was on a boat in pretty high winds, and Daniela was an absolute star! She did a beautiful job of everything and was there to give touch-ups as the wind blew my hair all around. She even expertly applied red lipstick to my lips while the boat bucked in the waves. I highly recommend Daniela for both hair and makeup services for either a photo shoot or a wedding.

Daniela made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. I had a total of 6 ladies getting ready prior to the ceremony, we had a strict deadline for photographs, and we were running late. Daniela was very professional and flexible. Daniela and her assistant managed to get us all out the door on time and looking fabulous. I was about a month away from my wedding and I had previously got my makeup trial by my hair salon and it was awful! I desperately looked for a makeup artist and that's when I came across Daniela. First glance, I liked the makeup on the website so I immediately contacted her. Within hours she got back to me and said she was available on my wedding date and I immediately booked the makeup trial. Everything went very well and as my wedding day got closer, Daniela and I kept in contact regarding our timeline etc. On my wedding date, she arrived early to setup her makeup set and rocked! Daniela and her assistant did hair and makeup for me, the mother of the bride, the mother of the groom, and my four bridesmaids the day of the wedding. Not only did she do a fantastic job, but she was also very friendly, easy to work with, and flexible in meeting my schedule. I had a specific look in mind for my hair (long, romantic curls) and makeup (natural but feminine) and Daniela captured it perfectly. I was really nervous about looking good on my wedding day, and she more than exceeded my expectations. My husband and guests told me I looked "gorgeous" all night and I have Daniela to thank. I had great experience working with Daniela. She was patient, flexible, and quick to repond. I want to thank Daniela Rodriguez for doing my hair and my bridesmaids hair makeup. I highly recommend her to anyone .. The day of trail I showed her a picture of the hairstyle that I wanted and she did exactly what I wanted . The day of my wedding she came on time and did exactly what I wanted ..My bridesmaids and myself were all dolled up and beautiful and on time thanks to her .. I had the BEST experience with Daniela and her team (Tena was my stylist and I loved her!). From the first email exchange I felt instantly comfortable. When I met Daniela and Tena for the hair and make-up trial, the personal connection that they have with their clients was evident. I truly enjoyed their company. I was not completely satisfied with how my first trial turned out, and I was offered a second trial free of charge. They were truly willing to listen to me and work with me, and I never felt pressured into anything. My wedding hair and makeup came out better than I ever could have imagined, and everyone told me I looked like an old hollywood movie star. I felt like such a beautiful version of myself. Daniela and Tena were professional, responsive, and overall extremely pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend their services to anyone!

Daniela made me into a beautiful bride on the outside that made feel much more beautiful on the inside!

After our initial trial, I was very happy with the makeup but had reservations with the hair. We did a half updo and a full updo. Thorughout the night, it didn't feel like me and I was upset that I wouldn't find a hair style that would suit my style on my big day. After I told Daniela how I felt, she immediately offered another go at the hair at a later time to understand what I wanted. Well, not only did her second updo rocked but her third and final updo hit a home run!!! my hair withstand all 12 hours and I mean all the jumping around and dancing all night! And she also gave me a very complimentary lip gloss so I could reapply all night! After all that kissing, it came in handy.

I got many compliments on both my hair and makeup. So did both by Maid of Honor and Bridesmaid. She made my girls look so chic and fabulous!

Couldn't have asked for a better person to work with and share my day with.

Daniela Rodriguez is amazing at what she does and she is super friendly and willing to accommodate any last minute tasks. My Wedding events started at 5:30pm and ended at 5am (yes it was a really long wedding and we had an afterparty!) and i was still looking awesome. Definitely recommend her.

Daniela was super fast in replying to my initial inquiry. Her email was clear and gave me plenty of options to organize a trial. When she came to my home she was super professional and happy to take my ideas and try as many as I liked. I loved my hair at the trial and even more so on my wedding day. She's also very fast and a very calming influence! Would happily recommend her to anyone.

Daniela is a fabulous make-up artist. She did an amazing job with each of the girls, tailoring styles to specific tastes.

Daniela was extremely flexible and easy to work with - we switched locarions back and forth at the last minute which she took in stride. She was professional and friendly, on time for arrival and finish.

Oh - and she's REALLY REALLY good at updo's!

Daniela was wonderful! She made me feel amazing from start to finish. I hired Daniela mid April to come to an apartment to do 13 people's and my hair/make-up for my wedding! She gathered a team of 4 and they worked hard and fast to get us all ready in time. Her skills are impeccable, my bridesmaids were fighting over who got her for the stylist. You cannot go wrong with hiring Daniela and her team for your wedding.

For starters, the makeup she used was extremely good quality. I had an outdoor engagement photo shoot which turned into a thunderstorm...I was completely soaked but the makeup and lashes still stayed on! If the makeup can withstand that thunderstorm, it can definitely survive a few tears at your wedding.

Her rates are extremely reasonable, she is helpful and attentive, and she listens to exactly what you want. I saw a hairstyle on a celebrity and expressed to her that I would like something similar, and she was able to replicate it exactly. She was on time, didn’t forget anything and was even able to help my mother-in-law out when a different stylist botched her hair—Daniela’s assistant saved the day by adjusting the style so that it was perfect.

Many of the other stylists I looked at seemed to offer a reasonable price—but then wanted to nickel and dime me by charging extra for airbrush makeup, extra for lashes, extra for touch up kits, etc. This is not the case with Daniela, who included everything in the bridal package. It is nice to pay a flat price and know that everything will be taken care of, instead of frustrated by extra charges.

Last of all, she made payment easy with PayPal and was even able to bill my bridesmaids separately, which saved me from being in the awkward position of having to ask them for payment.

In conclusion: Book Daniela. You won’t regret it.

Daniela did my hair and make-up for my July 2014 wedding and from the very start of my trial run with her, I knew that I was in good hands. She is a great listener and after discussing what I had envisioned for my make-up, she created a really beautiful look. Please understand, I never wear makeup. Not a drop! EVER! And she was so patient and helped me find a look that would make me look beautiful while still being comfortable. She was even so kind to do a second trial 2 days before my wedding because I had doubts. Wedding make-up artists in New York can be pricey, but Daniela’s rates are incredibly fair…and the results are incredible! She used airbrush makeup for me and my party, and everyone looked flawless. She made the whole process easy and fun. Her outstanding reviews are well-deserved! Hire her!

Working with Daniela was incredible! From the hair and makeup trial to the day of, she was warm, accommodating, and incredibly talented! I cannot thank Daniela and her staff enough for taking care of our extremely large wedding party. We had 20 women receiving services, 16 of them bridesmaids and everything was accomplished without any problems! Daniela took the time to write up a schedule and keep everyone on time the day of the wedding- I was so relaxed to know we were in such good hands. Each and every persons hair and make-up came out gorgeous; the staff was very knowledgable! In addition, Daniela even stayed after my church ceremony to touch up before we left for our reception. My pictures came out flawless thanks to Daniela!

I had Tena do my hair and make up for my wedding on 3/29/14 and she was great!! Before the wedding we did a trial and she came right to my house. I had some changes I requested for the wedding day and she did them perfectly! I looked beautiful but natural (hair down and curly with veil and headband, airbrush makeup with fake eyelashes) and everything lasted all day! She even stayed a little late so my photographer could snap a few getting ready photos! My mom loved her hair too and she is hard to please. All my girls looked great and loved her work, even the bridesmaid that hates makeup!

I also had Zarielle do my junior bridesmaids and flower girl and they had so much fun! One of the junior maids found a photo one the day-of of what she wanted (a side-swept and braided style) and she was able to make it happen!

Everyone looked amazing and everyone at Daniela Rodriguez was easy to work with, they even let all the girls pay separately and add themselves on with whatever services they wanted. Thanks again!!

Fabulous Hair and Makeup

I hired Daniela to do my bridal hair and makeup along with 4 bridesmaids, 2 sisters, 1 mother, 1 flower girl, and last minute 2 guest. The first step was to set up the bridal trial which was a great experience. She listened to what I wanted, was very receptive to feedback and took her time to get it just right so that I knew what the final outcome would look like the day of my wedding. She took pictures of the final result so that months later she will have a reference. A couple of weeks before the wedding, she sent me a hair and makeup schedule so that everyone in my party would know what time their hair and makeup would be. I tweaked the schedule and sent it back to her a couple of times, she had a good response time. Since I had a lot of people that needed their hair and makeup done, Daniela took care of hiring two other hair/makeup artist, she mentioned people that she worked with in the past. The day of my wedding Daniela and her two independent hired hair/makeup artist showed up on time, brought all the necessary equipment and quickly set up in my parent's dining room. I am a very well organized person so I printed a couple of copies of the schedule and handed it to each artist and one of my bridesmaids to make sure everything ran smoothly that day which it did. I am sure Daniela and her team would be on top of it but this is something extra I did for my peace of mind. The day of my wedding I had a slight modification to how I wanted my hair and she delivered. I think Daniela personality and quality of work is GREAT! The only reason I am giving Daniela 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the other 2 artist as their level of quality didn't match Daniela's. As the two makeup/hair artist were finishing up hair and makeup I was not satisfied with their work and asked Daniela to step in and fix certain things and she took care of it so that everyone, in the end, looked fabulous. Daniela's services are reasonably priced. I received a lot of compliments on my hair and makeup that day and most importantly I felt glamorous and beautiful.

I got married on 8/14/15 and Daniela Rodriguez NYC provided hair and makeup services for myself, my mother and 4 bridesmaids. The two stylists I had were Zarielle and Ivy. They did a great job listening to what my mother and bridesmaids wanted, and everyone looked beautiful. Their makeup lasted all night, and their hair held up pretty well, considering they were dancing and sweating all night lol. As for me, Zarielle did my trial run months before the wedding. She took pictures and had them with her the day of the wedding. My hair came out the same way as the trial, and I loved it. She also did a good job pinning my veil in and adding the rhinestone headband and clips I had. The only thing I wish she would have done was add more hairspray to the thin ringlets I had falling out of my updo. They were already dying before I left the house and my photographer told me to have Zarielle recurl them. They died again shortly after. Also, I feel as though my eye makeup was darker than my trial run. She lightened it after I asked and it looked a little better. Last, the false lashes she put on me were different than the trial - they were much longer. But overall they looked nice in pictures so I can't really complain. But the right one was coming loose by the end of the night. Overall, I was happy with the services. Everyone told me how beautiful I looked and I did feel like a princess bride that day. I saw the unedited video already and my hair and makeup looked great on camera. I would recommend Daniela Rodriguez NYC.

Daniela was sweet, professional, and fabulous at her work! She made everyone, especially me - the bride - feel comfortable and beautiful. I felt like myself but glamorous and lovely. Daniela was consistent from trial to wedding day and made any last minute adjustments I wanted. Daniela was a delight to work with. During my trial appointment she listened carefully to what I told her I liked and disliked, and she was extremely flexible and eager to make adjustments to give me the look I wanted. I had to change my schedule close to the day-of, so Daniela sent an associate to get started with my bridesmaids (the associate was great!) and Daniela arrived punctually. My bridesmaids loved their look, and my makeup turned out even better than at the trial. She worked so quickly and professionally that we were finished ahead of schedule. My makeup held up from 1 pm - 1 am, even with hours and hours of dancing! I would absolutely recommend Daniela for your wedding or other event.

I booked Daniela to do my hair and my seven bridesmaids and my mother about 8 months before the weddings. She is very professional and I loved the trial so much that I had to have her. About 2 months before the wedding I needed Daniela to also do the makeup for me and my seven bridesmaids because my original makeup artist was too busy (she was a friend). Daniela was kind and gracious enough to meet with me again for a makeup trial which I loved I wanted something simple yet flawless. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and I wanted to look like myself. She did a great job with balancing that. She even tried different lipstick colors on me and once we found one she let me keep it free of charge nice of her and I still use it!
The night before the wedding I get an email saying she would be unable to bring any other stylist because of an emergency and she needed to have extra time to do all of us because it would just be only her. I was livid at this email I’m at my rehearsal dinner and this is what she sends me. In a crisis like this she should have called me. What if I never would have checked my email!!! I not so nicely called her and demanded that she should have called me and said she needed to find one other person because with our time table it would be impossible. (I felt bad afterwards but I will chalk it up to bridal insanity).
In the end she called me back and did find another person to help with hair. I was impressed despite being down an extra person she did everything on time and professionally, she did a good job I loved the way everyone looked. Daniela was as cool as a cucumber and she even helped one of my bridesmaids with her hair when she originally only charged me for the makeup on her. My makeup was perfect when I look at the pictures I am happy I choose her to do it. Thanks Daniela

I'm really baffled as to how this vendor got such great reviews. I'm pasting an email I sent to Daniela after my trial- which I never got ANY response to:
Hi Daniela,
Unfortunately, I had some issues with the trial, so I will be going with another company. Some of the things that went wrong were:
-after not showing up at 10 like I had confirmed the day before, (employee) called and told me she could be there by 12. She didn't get to my apartment until 12:30. This made me very un-confident that she would be on time the day of the wedding. Also, my sister had woken up early to drive an hour to my apartment to be there at 10 am.
-she didn't have any bobby pins. My fiance had to fish around the apartment for some, and luckily I had some
-she didn't have a hand mirror
-most importantly, she didn't do airbrush makeup (she didn't bring the machine); I was under the assumption that I was paying the $150 for a trial of the products that would be used the day of the wedding...
I'm disappointed it didn't work out.
