    Delicious crowd-pleasers

These pies were so tasty and the guests were very excited. We had a great time at the tasting while picking flavors as well!

Start to finish, we had a wonderful experience with Dangerously Delicious. At our tasting, we left with boxes of leftovers so we could finish our decision making at home. The guests loved the pie and the logistics and communication were great. I highly recommend the french toast pie- my favorite!

We loved Dangerously Delicious Pies and wanted to have them be a part of our wedding, so we chose to serve pie instead of cake. They were incredibly easy to work with—we stopped in for a pie tasting at the H Street location during a slow time, picked the flavors we wanted, and scheduled a delivery time on our wedding day. It almost felt too easy, and everything went perfectly!

We had Dangerously Delicious Pies for our Halloween wedding and they were the perfect dessert for our day! The tasting session was amazing and we narrowed it down to ordering several pies in three flavors- apple, sweet potato, and winterberry. Everyone loved the pies and it was a great alternative to a traditional wedding cake. We opted to have the pies delivered to our venue in Maryland and they arrived on time. We highly recommend Dangerously Delicious!

Dangerously Delicious provided pies for our recent wedding, and we could not have been more pleased. We had a great time at the tasting, and couldn't make up our minds, so we chose a little of everything (seriously - I think we had six different pies!). They also delivered the pies for a small fee, which made the day much easier. I highly recommend them for other events!

Pies, pies, pies :) We loved this alternative to traditional wedding cake - especially in the fall. Guests enjoyed sampling several types! We love Dangerously Delicious - you can't go wrong here. Although we opted to have a dessert table you can even have the pie truck show up at your event :)

With a husband-to-be who didn't like cake, pie was a natural choice for us. Working with Dangerously Delicious was a breeze. The tasting was a lot of fun, and we had a tough time narrowing down our favorites. Mary at the Baltimore location was very easy to work with when it came time to finalize our order, arrange delivery, and make our payments. Our guests all raved about the pie at the reception. Definitely recommended!

We ordered a variety of pies from the Canton store that were delivered as our "wedding cake". As expected the pies were delicious and our out of town guests fell in love. So happy we made the choice to go with our favorite Baltimore dessert rather than cave to the pressures for a standard wedding. Everyone at Dangerously Delicious made the experience super easy, and the tasting was well worth it (especially bringing back our leftovers.)

We decided to do pie instead of wedding cake, and we were so happy with Dangerously Delicious! We had a great time at the tasting, and they explained what their recommendations where for types and quantity. Everyone raved about the pies - somehow I didn't get to try any (too busy with guests!) but from all the times I've had their pie I'm sure it was awesome. Such a great alternative to overpriced cake, and especially great for a Fall wedding! Everyone loved it - if you don't love cake definitely go for pie!

We are so happy that we used Dangerously Delicious Pies instead of cake! It's very difficult to find wedding cakes in Baltimore that aren't either overpriced or not very delicious, and Dangerously Delicious is a fantastic alternative!

Pie tastings are $20 for 2 people, and you get a plate filled with pie pieces and two drinks. You can choose which pies to taste, though we were able to sample just about all of the pies they had available. My fiance and I had a great time. I highly recommend going in for a tasting-- it's like a little mini-date all on its own.

We ended up choosing 3 different flavors, Baltimore bomb, lemon chess, and mixed berry, and everyone LOVED THEM. We hardly had any pie left, and we ordered plenty. Mary is very timely in responding to emails and phone calls, and was quite friendly and helpful.

I'd highly recommend them as a wedding vendor, or just as a yummy place to get dessert in Baltimore!

We opted for pie instead of cake, and used Dangerously Delicious. Not sure about the danger, but they were delicious. The staff had a wonderful tasting for us, and explained all the options. Really easy to order and pay. The delivery went off without a hitch and the pies were a hit.

We loved our Dangerously Delicious pies! We served three varieties of 4" mini-pies instead of traditional wedding cake. The whole experience was good. We communicated with DD Pies via email to get all the catering info, then arranged a tasting at their shop on H Street. They provided (at no charge) seven or eight full-size slices of pie for us to try. We chose three varieties and ordered 40 mini-pies in each. The cost per mini-pie was $8, cheaper than the per-slice cost for most wedding cakes. There was a small ($25) delivery fee for the pies to be delivered to the wedding venue.

Our guests loved the pies as much as we did. I highly recommend Dangerously Delicious Pies!

Pie-- a GREAT wedding cake alternative!

Our wedding was outside, and our reception in a barn. We couldn't help but feel that a fancy cake just didn't fit. Then we came across Dangerously Delicious Pies, and we're glad we did.

After lots of e-mail communication with the Pie Lady, we narrowed down our flavor interests to about 10 different pies. We were invited in for a tasting-- and man, we needed a wheelbarrow to cart us out of the place. They provided very generous portions, and talked with us throughout the tasting to help us figure out what we wanted to serve.

The pies were made fresh the day of the wedding. We picked them up ourselves, but they do offer a delivery option. They are also willing to work with your caterer, should that prove easier or necessary. Prices are a bit high (hence the 4-stars on value), but they were a pleasure to work with. Super flexible on payment, choice, etc.

Our pies were adorable and delicious-- we went with Key Bridge Lime, Baltimore Bomb, and Apple Crumb. All pies whose flavor profiles captured who we are. We threw in a Lemon Chess, too-- just because it was so delicious. A piece of advice-- if you go with pie, get a cake topper anyway. Guests aren't really sure what to do when they see pie sitting out, and ours just decided to tear into them at dinner time, leaving no pie for cutting. Not a big deal, but if you want a cute pie-cutting pic, stake out your pie territory with a wedding cake topper!

Bottom line: don't get stuck in the traditional wedding cake rut-- get some pie!

We had these amazing pies for our farm wedding. They were so yummy and we got tons of compliments on our choice. My only criticism is that they are pretty expensive for pies. AMAZING but expensive. They cost at least what a fancy cake would have cost.

This is for the Baltimore location:
The pies were really good, don't get me wrong. But they were hard to work with. I had to leave multiple messages and when I called a couple weeks before the wedding to confirm my order they "didn't have it."
I was stressed enough, I didn't need that. But they made me feel at ease again, though I did call a couple times after just to make sure they didn't lose me again.
If I had to do it again, I wouldn't choose them, I'd have my caterer do it. They would have been just as good.
