D’Perfect Wedding!
There aren’t enough words to express how amazing Donesha and her team are! My now husband and I began planning our two weddings (one traditional Ghanaian and one American) 1 year ago. From the moment we met Donesha, she was professional, responsive, reassuring, educational and helpful! She helped us to find all of our vendors for both days, and communicated thoroughly with each of them throughout the entire process so that my husband and I wouldn’t need to! And as if Donesha wasn’t awesome enough, on the week of our wedding, Hurricane Milton came through Central Florida and she jumped into action immediately. On one of the most stressful and uncertain weeks of my husband and I’s lives, Donesha remained calm, she communicated with all of vendors, and when we needed to change the date of one of the weddings, she made the transition easy for us and allowed us to focus on communicating the changes with our family and friends. I’ll forever be grateful for the way Donesha handled what could have been a disastrous weekend. Both events turned out beautifully and I can’t thank Donesha enough for helping to make our dream weddings come true!! -

I gave her my budget & she executed with class & professionalism, long distance. We live in Jacksonville & our wedding was in Clermont, Fl. She kept us on schedule throughout the entire planning process and made recommendations when we needed them. The “day of” events were executed perfectly and she made sure our vendors were in place and ready to make our day memorable. Earlier this year I walked into a Ford Motor Company event mesmerized by the decor, ambiance and beauty. I inquired and learned that that Donesha Anthony and the DPerfect Touch Events was responsible. I reached out to Donesha and asked for her assistance coordinating a Fall Employee Appreciation Event and Christmas Party for over 200 employees and their families - the best decision I could have made! We discussed the vision and budget and Donesha made it happen - all we had to do was show up. At both events, team members showed up and were blown away. Donesha and her team hit a home run from ambiance to activities to organization to food, entertainment, awards, pictures, experience, this years' events were the most memorable our organization has ever had. Days later, team members are still thanking management for the great time and awesome memories. What can I say, booking Donesha for full service planning was absolutely the best decision that we could have made! I knew I wanted someone to plan our big day from start to finish and we booked Donesha after a trusted friend recommendation and couldn’t have been more pleased with Donesha and Samantha’s professional service, attention to detail and positive vibes throughout the planning process. Donesha was able to handle my Type A personality/perfectionist self with no issue at all and that alone says a lot. Donesha recommended top tier vendors which included our DJ, photographer, florist, rental needs, custom signs and our dessert vendor to name a few all while staying within our initial budget! Donesha was available to meet in person and via telephone for every vendor consultation and final appointments and made it her duty to attend every dress fitting which meant so much. She genuinely cared! I must have sent Donesha a thousand emails when my mind would race and I asked a million questions and not once did Donesha make me feel that my questions or concerns were not valid, rather it was a question regarding linen design/color selection or adding another vendor to our growing list. We always laughed about it the next day whenever even I knew my “extraness” was extra haha. Donesha listened to every single detail and idea we had concerning our wedding and leading up to the big day (including our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner). Our wedding weekend went extremely smooth because of Donesha and Samantha. Alex and I can’t thank you ladies enough! Our guests truly experienced something special on our big day!

Working with Donesha was what we needed and more than we knew to ask for when selecting a wedding planner/coordinator. As a young couple, we truly had the slightest idea of where to start when it came to planning our wedding, but Donesha knew and she guided us from start to finish. What started as a Pop-Up Wedding during COVID with 30 guest turned into what I consider the “Extended Pop-Up” wedding of our dreams with 90 of our closest family and friends. Throughout the duration of planning our wedding, life happened and continued to happen. We pushed our date back, we moved out of state, got a new job, but the one thing that remained, was the minimal stress experienced surrounding our wedding planning because of Donesha. From contracting AMAZING and extremely talented vendors (photographer, videographer, saxophonist, florist, venue, etc.) our wedding day was all that we ever dreamed of it being and so much more! Donesha was truly D’Perfect Touch that was needed to not only plan but also to execute our wedding day. From ceremony to reception, she made sure everything was in place, moving on time, and better than we originally planned. She did not allow the rain to stop our wedding day from being all that we imagined, along with her assistant Samantha, she made sure our reception was still an enjoyable experience despite the shift from outside to inside. Honestly, every adjustment that was made surrounding our wedding made our day even better than we planned and a day that we will never forget. We cannot thank Donesha enough for all of her hard work, professionalism, insight, ability to adapt, and her calm and supportive spirit that was felt and much appreciated during the planning and on our wedding day!

Donesha is the absolute best and we were so blessed to have found her. We were looking for someone who is attentive, trustworthy, professional, organized and able to adjust and deal with strong personalities. We found all of this in Donesha and more. Donesha’s professionalism is incomparable. She was so welcoming and made us feel like family. It didn’t matter what I called her for or what time, she made herself available to assist my groom and I with whatever we needed. The day of the wedding I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Donesha came early that morning and stayed until the wedding was over and everyone was gone.

When I was first meeting with wedding planners I met with 2 on the same day. The first I met with for less than 10 minutes and wasn’t super impressed. Then I went and met with Donesha. We talked for over an hour! I genuinely felt like she wanted to get to know Taylor and I, know our story, and how she can make our dream wedding come true. After meeting with her I was sure there was no one that could compare. Donesha was always there to support our decisions and make sure we got everything we wanted even when we weren’t sure how to ask for it ourselves. Our wedding date was rescheduled 3 times due to COVID and Donesha took care of everything and took the stress way from us. I always knew that Donesha was just a text away if I started to feel the stress of the wedding. No matter the situation , she always had great advice and a great solution. She could always tell when I wasn’t happy with something and would not rest until I was happy with it. On the day of the wedding she made sure that everything was perfect and how we envisioned it. There was no stress because she took care of absolutely everything. We seriously cannot recommend Donesha enough. -

P.S. We Love Donesha is an understatement.
It doesn’t add up to the amount of appreciation and indebtedness she deserves for the service she provided, and the level of support she showed throughout our wedding planning and ceremony. She communicated with all of our vendors constantly taking that weight off of our shoulders. She helped find our dresses and the design of our wedding attire, she scheduled tastings, and created a wedding design with the amazing RJ Glam that fit our personalities. We were all set, and the wedding planning was completed within 7 months of our 1-year goal.
The average person couldn’t fathom the amount of stress and frustration that is endured when you suddenly find out that your fully paid off wedding venue shut down (OUT OF BUSINESS) 8 weeks before the wedding day without notice. Donesha found us another venue for the same exact date within a week, transferred all of our vendors; then, the COVID-19 Pandemic shut down the world. After, getting over one devastating event, we encountered another. Not to mention the added atmospheric pressure from being a lesbian couple (2 BRIDES) getting married. Our 1 year of planning suddenly turned into 2 years of uncertainty as the COVID-19 Pandemic changed everyone’s lives.
During that time, Donesha became more than just our wedding planner, she was our counselor, our friend, and the uplifter of our spirits. There were times where we wanted to give up and she wouldn’t let us. When our guest counts changed from 100 to 60 due to health restrictions, she redesigned our entire ceremony set up, while reallocating our overages to enhance the wedding day experience. When our wedding dates changed 4 times, she ensured that all of our vendors were correlated and on the same page for our final special date. Ironically, she was able to schedule our wedding exactly one year later on our 1-year anniversary (4/17/2021).
On the day of our wedding, my wife and I didn’t have to do anything but show up and look amazing in our attire. Donesha made sure that our vendors were on point, our guests were taken care of, and her brides experienced every part of the wedding day as planned. If there was something we forgot to do, she would pull us aside and make sure we experienced every aspect of the wedding day. One thing I will say is to the future brides and grooms, listen to Donesha when she directs your steps on your wedding day. There is a reason for it, and if we had not done everything, she told us to do, we would have missed out on some grand moments. At the end of the night, we thought we left everything at the venue (Phone, Keys, Wallet, Tote Bag, Parting Gifts) only to find it sitting in a crate in the hotel room when we got back, because Donesha made sure we had EVERYTHING!

If your search for a wedding planner in the Central Florida area brought you to this review page... congrats, your search is complete! From the initial email I sent, she responded back immediately with her packages and to set up a meeting date. At our first meeting, she asked and answered all questions that any bride would immediately feel relieved with her taking the driving seat as their planner. She went to vendor meetings with me and even had vendors leave the room so we can talk candidly on how I felt about their services and prices. An accurate indicator of her representation is when multiple vendors say, "Donesha is your planner!? Awesome, I have nothing to worry about". Even with her knowing the vendors, she still puts you first. She gives you solutions and suggestions to stay within budget while not compromising quality.
I used her partial planning package since I had already chosen my venue and catering, and I don't regret selecting her at all. It wasn't initially in my budget, but one of the BEST decisions mentally and financially because, as I said, she still helped us save!! Think of her as a wedding planning bestie. She has done tons of weddings, so he has the best advice for everything! Months and days before the wedding, people would ask the typical "are you stressed? Did you forget about..?" And I would feel confident, saying, "I'm GOOD." Donesha had check-ins with me throughout the whole process. From selecting the right photographer to ensuring I had wedding jewelry and that every other detail that I did not think of was taken care of. During our wedding rehearsal, my bridal party, who had been at previous weddings, noticed how organized and detailed she was. She took charge (in a good way lol) and let everyone know how the wedding day would go, including exactly where parents and family members would sit. She even told the bridal party that if she sees gum in your mouth, she will have them spit it out! Details that not your ordinary wedding planner things of. For every wedding picture, she paused the photographer to fix and ensure my hair looked perfect in every shot! She even took out a bobby pin from on hair to keep my hair together when the wind started blowing! I will always love her for that!!
All in all, Donesha was nothing short of amazing. Any question or problem, big or small, she had a solution for. On the day of the wedding, she went straight to work and had all my vendors on a schedule. The only thing I had to do was show up on my wedding day, and she took care of everything else. All I can say is, Book her now!! -

I don’t even know where to begin. At first my husband and I weren’t going to book a coordinator, but we decided it would be best for day of (so no one would bother us lol) and we could not have been more lucky to meet Donesha at a Bridal Show. From our first encounter, she was pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. That initial meeting was like re-linking with an old friend because she made us feel so comfortable and like she was really there for us and she was. I later found out that we are both alumnus of the same university and I liked her even more lol. We booked Donesha as our Day of Coordinator about a year and a half before the wedding (our wedding was in 11/29/19) and she went above and beyond our expectations because she was still checking in with us during our planning process and even attended other vendor meetings with us if she was available. She was very helpful in helping us make sure our planning timeline was realistic and made sense and she even recommended a few vendors to us. She literally became my best friend through the process. On our wedding day, she was attentive to our needs, made sure we stayed on our desired timeline, and put out fires left and right (once I found out afterwards some of the things that occurred day of that she dealt with so we didn’t have to worry I was amazed!). I would HIGHLY recommend Donesha and will definitely be booking her services again in the future for any other planning needs that I may have. -

Donesha was worth every penny. We got engaged in May of 2018 and. And we officially started working with her in Sept/Oct of 2018. Her professionalism was exceptional. I am very hard to please and at times can be very indecisive. Every vendor that she recommended to us fit our personality to a “T” Donesha knew what I needed when I needed it. Her attention to detail was and is everything. She worked around our schedule. She even went with me to look at wedding dresses which meant everything to me. My now husband is the one that recommended that I use her as our wedding planner when I made the decision that I was not going to plan this wedding. She has exceeded every last expectation that I had. When I had questions she always had an answer then told me not to worry, because she had it. One big thing that stood out the most to me is during the planning of our wedding my Father had passed away and during that time I also found out that the design layout me and my husband was set on, the venue did not have the amount of tables required to achieve the design. That alone thru us for a loop. I don’t know what Donesha and her team did but the design we wanted we got. She told us don’t worry about it she “got this” and she sure did. She is very responsive which is a big thing for me. My wedding day was perfect because of her. If anything went wrong, I know nothing about it. As far as I’m concerned nothing did go wrong. D’ Personal Touch, made my daughter’s wedding experience a breeze. My daughter was not able to be Orlando while planner her wedding and me the mother of the bride works full time. Donisha and her staff was able to plan meetings around my schedule and meet with vendors when we couldn’t. It turned out to be the most beautiful experience we could ever ask for. But what put the cherry on top was when I ran up to her in a panic during the wedding thinking Rachel and I had forgotten something, Donisha said, “Mom, stop worrying I didn’t forget, I got this, please sit and enjoy yourself.” It still brings tears to my eyes how well she knows yer stuff. I Since the first day I wandered into the wedding expo Donesha seemed to know what I wanted and what I needed for the wedding I was trying to plan . I went into the situation with so many ideas that clashed and she sat me down and managed to get me to narrow my ideas down . And this was just in the consultation. Once we started working together to get vendors chosen she kept in mind all of my concerns and stayed within my budget. If there was something that I wasn't 100 percent sure on she brought more options until we found the one that was best . Donesha was very professional and knows her business ! She's not afraid to tell you if things won't work for the overall look /feel of the wedding and that's what I liked best about her ! She's always got your back and is always willing to help . For the day of I don't know what I would have done without her . A few things didn't work out as planned but she was on top of it all. If you didn't know that's not what was supposed to happen you wouldn't have been able to tell anything was off because everything was perfect and stress free . I cannot put enough into words in regards to my beautiful and professional Wedding Planner Mrs Donesha Anthony of D” Perfect Touch for Wedding and Events , she is very professional , available and very organized so did the rest of her team. The best decision !
Donesha was the best decision my husband and I could have made. When I first contacted her via email, she scheduled a phone call to see how our personalities interacted together. After that first phone call my anxiety was gone. I hired Donesha for month of coordination but she also included design for us. I had no clue about how to bring my vision to life but she provided the tools needed to make our wedding design so beautiful. Any vendor I needed she had a list of trustworthy people she has worked with before. I was a few months away from my wedding and she made appointments and came with me to figure out floral and décor options. She also provided a final checklist and timeline for the wedding. I was always in communication with her via text and email. If you are getting married you really want to be able to enjoy your day after all the planning. Please get yourself a coordinator/ planner for your day you won't regret it. I highly recommend Donesha she really made our day a success. Family and friends are telling me not only how beautiful our wedding was but also how awesome our coordinator was.

What a perfect day and beautiful experience!!! Donesha and her team is simply amazing! My wedding day was perfect! Not one issue that I knew of and she put up with every change and crazy idea that I threw her way! She made all my ideas come to life and more!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because she is way more than that!!! -

I begged my wife to be to get Donesha, because of her confidence in her impeccable services and her ability to make us feel at ease and stress free just talkinng with her. The event was awesome and when a unforseen problem arised, Donesha would say, "l'll be right back" and in moments she had the problem resolved, fixed, taken care of! She is a sweetheart, but make no mistake she keeps everyone on schedule even vendors. She also holds your venue to their schedule and makes sure they fulfill all their promises. Believe me...she is the best!! When we have an anniversary ceremony we are calling Donesha!
