When searching for our venue Cypress Manor was my second tour and I knew it was the one! From the moment I met with Taanya I felt assured with moving forward. The communication was top notch, and she went above and beyond with answering any questions and happy to help with giving suggestions to create a wonderful layout and event in the space. I could not be happier with my venue choice and our wedding day was a complete dream come true! HIGHLY RECOMMEND CYPRESS MANOR!!!

This venue was a great place to hold my wedding. The venue is pretty spacious with separation between the different areas. Amanda helped us through the whole process. She was very helpful and flexible even when we had last minute and day of changes.

We found Cypress Manor during an unfortunate event of having to find a new venue with four months to go to our wedding. The minute we walked into Cypress Manor for our first meeting, we thought the place was beautiful and unique. The staff cared for our situation and when we made our decision to have our wedding reception at Cypress Manor, they were very accommodating! We worked with Alex as our venue coordinator. She was very quick to answer any emails and any questions we had during the process. She was organized and helped our wedding coordinator at Nouveau Event execute our event to beyond our dreams! The venue is unique with multiple levels, has a couple of bars, a stage, beautiful fire place/mantle to decorate, great tables with Chiavari chairs, cocktail tables and a great staff. This venue was our "second choice" due to our planning situation but everything ended more beautiful than I ever could have imagined at our original venue. We are more than happy with how everything turned out. We received so many compliments from our vendors and guests about how great the venue was and how beautiful everything turned out. I would suggest Cypress Manor to any bride for their wedding reception venue! The possibilities are endless for what you can do in this space to create the wedding day of your dreams!

We held our daughter’s wedding at the Cypress Manor this month and were extremely pleased. The venue is beautiful and was perfect for a Hindu ceremony and a traditional American wedding banquet. The venue is huge and has different tiers that accommodated the many aspects we wanted for that day. We used one area for the Hindu ceremony and had the Mandap set up on the stage. There was plenty of space for the guests to comfortably view the ceremony. The dinner reception was set up on the other side and there was still an area dedicated for the appetizers and drinks. The decor is a stunning mix of elegance and simplicity, pillars, stone and a beautiful fireplace perfect for pictures!
Working with Amanda Frystock was a true pleasure. She was extremely professional and incredibly helpful with the planning. She helped make our daughter’s day truly amazing in so many ways! She is very knowledgeable about the local vendors and we used her as a resource for planning the catering, wedding cake, flowers and table décor. She was very easy to work with, very organized and helped us stay on schedule. Her team was helpful and efficient with set up and flipping the room after the Hindu ceremony into a dance hall.

We had our reception at Cypress Manor and it was absolutely perfect. It has a rustic, almost mountain cabin feel to it, which was perfect for a couple that had just graduated from Appalachian State! The venue is beautiful enough on its own that we really didn't feel the need to add much decoration, which saved us a lot of money! The best part about Cypress Manor is how spacious it is. We had about 175 guests, and there was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. We loved that there are different levels in the venue. It made it interesting and made the dance floor more visible than a flat room would. There is a huge parking lot so finding parking for our guests was not an issue. There are also several hotels within walking distance from Cypress Manor, which was super convenient for our guests!

We worked with Amanda, and I could not recommend her highly enough! We had a few things that came up last minute with one of our vendors, and she bent over backwards to help us figure them all out. She was very easy to work with and responded right away if I ever had any questions. I would definitely recommend Cypress Manor to anyone who is getting married in the Raleigh area!

I had my wedding reception at Cypress Manor recently and it was perfect! The venue is so unique and like nothing else we found while looking in Raleigh. The space is so large, but didn't feel empty or bare. We had about 175 guests, and the tables fit perfect while still leaving plenty of room for the dance floor. The venue has a huge main bar, smaller side bar, tables and chairs, large movable dance floor, and stage that was perfect for the dj! I loved how the venue is broken up into different levels, but nothing is closed off with walls. It was perfect for keeping areas allotted for specific tasks such as the buffet line, dinner tables, gift room, cake area, dancing, etc. All of our guests seemed to really love the venue, I would highly recommend it to anyone getting married in the Raleigh/Cary area!!

We worked closely with Amanda, our events coordinator, during the planning process. She was awesome, I can't say enough good things about her or the venue! She was willing to work with my work schedule by meeting at night and she responded to emails almost instantly! She was extremely helpful throughout the whole process, but especially the day of! I felt at ease during the day knowing she would be there to guide our other vendors during the setup!

My special day was on April 20, 2013. This venue is ABSOLUTELY stunning. I could not have asked for ANYTHING more perfect. This place can be dressed up or dressed down - either way, it would be beautiful, I'm sure. We had close to 250 wedding guests, all of which were raving about Cypress Manor. There was plenty of space and the layout is perfect. There is a stage and dance floor area for those of us who wanted to party the night away, and a landing overlooking the dance floor for those who just wanted to watch! The floor plan is so open, I never felt like one group was separated from another.
Amanda was our event coordinator and I cannot say enough good things about her. If ever I had a question or concern, I could call/text/email/facebook Amanda and she would respond right away! She always put me at ease and I felt she had everything under control.

We held our 20th high school reunion at Cypress Manor this past weekend and it was just fabulous. The wood work in the building is gorgeous and we had to do very little decorating. One of the best parts is that though there are levels to the floor plan, there is a clear line of sight to every area of the building. We were able to utilize one side of the building for food and beverages, another area for mementoes, and another for dancing. This would be a perfect site fora wedding, reception, or both. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff at Cypress Manor and all of the vendors they recommended.

We had our rehearsal dinner/after party at Cypress Manor. Great place to host an event! Space was so big that we were able to eat in one area, have the food in another, dance floor, and had enough room for some cornhole. The staff was wonderful to work with and we really enjoyed our time there!

If you are a creative and vision person, this is the place for you! Lots of beautiful open space! Our wedding was perfect. Cant wait to have our 10 year wedding anniversary here!

Strict, not flexible. Difficult to schedule times to see venue/make appointments. Horribly overpriced for what you get

We had our wedding reception at Cypress Manor in spring 2017. While the building and facilities themselves are gorgeous, the staff and owners are unprofessional and unresponsive. Quite frankly, they stink. We signed our contract 16 months ahead of time. We dealt with Amanda and she was wonderful and responsive. About 6 months after that we received an email from Amanda that she was leaving the company and we would be dealing with someone else. Well, there was no 'person'. When we would call or email, we always had a response from a different person. And they never pick up the phone. You have to leave voicemails and then you're luck if you get a call back. Three months out from the wedding I tried to see if we could use the refrigerator for our wedding cake. I was told no. Flatly no. We weren't allowed to use anything in the kitchen. When we had our final walk through with my DOC and caterer, the person who let us in said that others were allowed to use the refrigerator. She called the owner to check on it and told us that we 'could' use it but it was unreliable and had failed in the past. HELLO??? How much are we paying you for using your building for half a day??? One would think that a venue that will have caterers would have a working fridge so that guests don't get food poisoning, but that's logic. And there is no logic with this place. I also tried emailing about final payment about 3 months out, when due, where to send it, etc. No response. Then a month out I get a very curt email in broken English telling me that they have not yet received my final payment and I must send it immediately. What the....??? I asked my DOC to deal with them from then on. She told me dealing with them was a nightmare and she would never use this venue for any of her weddings. Enough said.
