From our tasting to the late-night pizza at the end of our wedding night, Shortstop Custom Catering did an amazing job feeding us and our guests. They had such a variety of entrees and sides so I was able to fully customize the buffet. They had flavorful dishes for everyone with dietary restrictions too. Their dinner service was excellent and really made everyone at the head table feel special. The staff were kind, attentive and efficient. -

Carrie Sent on 08/22/2017My husband and I recently had custom catering provide our food and beverage services at Rolling Ridge Wedding and Event Center in St. Joseph's, Minnesota. We could not be happier with the services! From our initial meetings to the final details, Custom Catering truly met our wants and needs. We heard many compliments throughout the evening on how friendly and professional staff were and how quick service was from drinks to food. The food was absolutely delicious and drinks were spot on! Many of our guests were very pleased with the portion of food they were provided and reminded us that they NEVER went hungry and our wedding! Thank you Custom Catering for helping us create the perfect day for us and our guests! -

The staff was so great to work with and took care of all of our needs. They even went above and beyond the day of my wedding when weather made us move everything inside, they were right there helping move everything around and made sure everything was taken care of!!! Great staff =) -

Katie Sent on 08/30/2011Custom Catering was so great to work with! I married an Iron Ranger who loves his Porketta, and Custom Catering was able to incorporate Porketta roast into our menu! It made it very unique and special to bring a part of my husband's culture into our special day. Both Paul and Byron were great to work with, even if I was still emailing questions two days before the event! The food was incredible! It wasn't dried out or cold like many other meals you may get at weddings. Custom Catering knows their stuff. They've been at it a long time, and their passion and dedication to food shows. -

Sarah Sent on 07/20/2016Overall we were very pleased with the service on the day of. As other posters said, they definitely need to work on their responsiveness! It seemed impossible to get in contact with anyone throughout the planning process! If you call no one returns your call, if you e-mail same thing. It got to the point where I would have to contact and say, "Do you want our business? If you have changed your mind about providing catering services, please let us know and we will go elsewhere." Having said that service the day of was great. I like that the China and cake cutting are included already in the cost. The staff that came out was very friendly and everything went smoothly. The only complaint that I have food-wise is that my MOH is a very picky eater and Luke and I had talked about doing macaroni and cheese for her, but I had specifically told him not like what the kids would get, but real gourmet mac-n-cheese. He said it would not be a problem, but they definitely gave her a big plate of what was served to the children. I really paid $22 for that? She ate about 2 bites of it and left the rest. That was very disappointing that they dropped the ball when we had specifically discussed it. But as I said, the rest of the food was lovely. We received many compliments on it.
