From our tasting to the late-night pizza at the end of our wedding night, Shortstop Custom Catering did an amazing job feeding us and our guests. They had such a variety of entrees and sides so I was able to fully customize the buffet. They had flavorful dishes for everyone with dietary restrictions too. Their dinner service was excellent and really made everyone at the head table feel special. The staff were kind, attentive and efficient.

We had our wedding at 912 Regency Plaza in St. Cloud. We could not be more pleased with the staff and our experience at Short Stop. They were very responsive to all of our questions and welcomed any suggestions. On the day of our wedding, the entire staff was very professional, and many of our guests commented on that! My husband and I recently had custom catering provide our food and beverage services at Rolling Ridge Wedding and Event Center in St. Joseph's, Minnesota. We could not be happier with the services! From our initial meetings to the final details, Custom Catering truly met our wants and needs. We heard many compliments throughout the evening on how friendly and professional staff were and how quick service was from drinks to food. The food was absolutely delicious and drinks were spot on! Many of our guests were very pleased with the portion of food they were provided and reminded us that they NEVER went hungry and our wedding! Short Stop Custom Catering had wonderful service and their food was so yummy!! I had so many commets on how much my guests loved the food and the display! The staff was so great to work with and took care of all of our needs. They even went above and beyond the day of my wedding when weather made us move everything inside, they were right there helping move everything around and made sure everything was taken care of!!! I seriously love this company and if I have the chance again to need catering, I will go back 100 times over. From my initial contact and conception of my wedding event, the whole team was so responsive and eager to become involved. We scheduled a tasting for a pasta bar with appetizers and everything was fantastic. The linens (table cloths and napkins) were included in the pricing. We were able to pick up our table linens the night before, so that we could set out table scapes. They arrived at our home early in the morning to set up the buffet, chef station, drink station, appetizer area and each table with glassware and utensils. The girls were a gem to talk to and even with the stress of the day, found a way to make me feel relaxed.
The food was so good...everyone raved about it...infact they still do. I hear all the time, I am so glad that you didn't just do a traditional pig roast, since it was an outdoor wedding, etc. Truth be told, SO AM I!!!
I love Short Stop Catering, they met and exceeded my expectations and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for my big day, even though we forgot to tip. Thank you cards and tips were sent in the mail a few days later and my in-laws dropped off the linens a few days after that. I could not be happier with budget & price point, quality of excellence provided, professionalism, and most of all the taste of the food. The catering chef is awesome. PS. he carries a pocket wine opener if you happen to be at an event and cannot find one...lol!

Short Stop Catering came highly recommended to us, and I will now highly recommend it to everyone! Before meeting with Byron at Short Stop, we had met with another caterer - after that experience, we were very discouraged! But after walking into Short Stop and seeing the care they took to just prepare the taste test meal and after speaking with and being served by the owner himself...we knew we'd found what we were looking for. Short Stop was so easy to reach, and they were very responsive. They were absolute professionals and knew what to do. A few team-members came the day before our wedding to set-up and they were just a joy! Great personalities and great eyes for details...even in the set-up! The reception ran so smoothly - without a hitch. And the food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, it held it's form and was presented beautifully. Short Stop even bent over backwards to accommodate a special request regarding our desserts, as well. Even if you're in the cities or a great distance from St. Cloud, I would recommend that you at least contact Byron or Paul - our reception site was 40 minutes from St. Cloud, and they made it happen...beautifully and wonderfully!!! Very, VERY highly recommended!!!

Custom Catering was so great to work with! I married an Iron Ranger who loves his Porketta, and Custom Catering was able to incorporate Porketta roast into our menu! It made it very unique and special to bring a part of my husband's culture into our special day. Both Paul and Byron were great to work with, even if I was still emailing questions two days before the event! The food was incredible! It wasn't dried out or cold like many other meals you may get at weddings. Custom Catering knows their stuff. They've been at it a long time, and their passion and dedication to food shows.

People are still talking about the Smoked Guoda potatoes they made for our wedding. They were well organized, had great food that was served hot. There was plenty of food for everyone on the buffet. They took the time to let us taste different options. Any leftover food was packaged for us into tupperware! We were able to use some of the food the next day at the gift opening. Highly recommended!

The food Short Stop provided was excellent. They were very professional and the presentation was excellent.

Short Stop has an exclusive contract with our venue, but we were very happy with our service! We had a couple hiccups along the way, but nothing too crazy. The entire waitstaff was amazing, so friendly, professional, and engaging with our guests. Our food was great, but I did hear the few plated meals we had (we did buffet) came out cold. Also, the head table wasn't served dessert and two of my bridesmaid's meals were taken away when they were in the bathroom.
