We had our wedding reception at the Cultural & Civic Center of Round Lake Beach. There wasn't an option to check just reception, so I wanted to be clear that our wedding ceremony was not here.
We were incredibly pleased with these guys. We planned our wedding in 4 months and were aiming for an autumn wedding which is a busy season. In fact, our date was October 10th and October is one the 4 most popular months for weddings. For bookings, we were slightly worried about finding a good reception site. These guys were able to work out the timing for us to use their site for our reception. We took two tours in order to make our final decision. The staff were welcoming, kind, and able to answer all of our questions.
We returned later to make some final set-up and decorating decisions. They trained us how to use their sound system, which was excellent and user-friendly. We had a friend doing our music in order to save money. They allowed us to store decorations the day before so that friends could come and decorate the day of the wedding. This relieved SO much stress! One decor item was left behind and they patiently held onto until I was able to return and pick it up.
They communicated directly with the photographer and caterer to coordinate any necessary details. The whole place is nicely kept and spacious. The bridal party had a separate dressing room with a bathroom. This was great for our reception entrance.
