We found Crystal on instagram two years before our wedding and from that moment on, we knew we needed her at our reception. She ended up being the absolute highlight of our entire reception/party. ey're professional, polite, and have incredible talent as musicians. It was a pleasure to work with them and hope to work together again soon. Crystal killed it on the drums our wedding entertainment, vision was brought to life, her stellar personality and talent ensured to have all of our guests on the dance floor all night long. We hired Crystal for our wedding on 10/18/24 and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Crystal was so easy to work with. She was always responsive and even when we had to make a last minute venue change due to our original venue foreclosing, she assured us it wasn't a problem and was still on board. When talking about the reception with our guests, every single one commented on how amazing Crystal was. She brought so much energy to our reception and I couldn’t have imagined it being as hype without her. Her positive energy while drumming/dancing gets everyone to want to be on the dance floor. She acts as a catalyst for dancing at the wedding and keeps all the guests having fun and staying energized on the dance floor. Crystal is absolutely amazing. A true professional and worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. She made our wedding. Not only is she an extremely talented artist but her whole personality is a vibe. She makes you feel like you’ve known her your whole life and her energy is magnetic. Planning with her and giving her details about our day was seamless. She and I coordinated a surprise entrance/performance and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Not only was my husband surprised but our guests were blown away by her talent. I found Crystal on instagram and saw her perform once at Centrada, and instantly we wanted her to perform at our wedding! I cannot recommend Crystal enough. She preformed at our NYE wedding at Seasons Catering Hall. Her energy was unreal and the collaboration between her and our DJ was next level. Take your party to the next level
If you value good quality entertainment for your event, I strongly recommend hiring crystal. The moment I saw video footage of her doing her thing at a wedding, I knew I needed her for mine. Aside from her talent, crystal was very accommodating, as my original wedding was postponed and then ultimately canceled due to COVID- but we finally got to celebrate 2 years later and she stuck with us along the way. Not only is it fun to be on the dance floor while she’s performing, but it’s also entertaining for guests just watching from their seats. But, I will say, her vibrant personality and incredible musical talent can even get the most boring fun sponge of a guest on their feet. We had a blast at our party and several guests at the end were already asking for her contact info for their future events. If you’re looking to take your party to the next level, you won’t regret booking her!

We found Crystal through our friends who had her perform at their wedding and instantly knew we needed her for ours. We didn’t tell anyone we got a Percussionist so our guests were STUNNED at how amazing she was. Her and our DJ vibed perfectly and everyone kept coming up to me absolutely floored at how amazing she was. My family gets quite rowdy and at one point they even crowd surfed her WHILE AHE CONTINUED PLAYING IN THE AIR. In the words of my sister “Crystal is literally the coolest person I’ve ever met”.

Crystal was absolutely INCREDIBLE starting from our very first e-mail correspondence! It is very clear that she cares deeply about each and every client and does everything in her power to not just provide percussion for those who hire her, but to provide a once in a lifetime experience. We hired her to play during the reception of our wedding and she very quickly threw herself into the planning, the countdown, the excitement -- everything. She did not feel like "just another vendor" to us, we felt (and still feel) like we have known her for years! Whether it was dancing/playing out on the dance floor with us/guests, jamming out at her set up, making my now husband and I actually look like we know how to hit a drum -- our reception was on fire!!!! Every single guest has not stopped talking about our "unbelievable percussionist" and we don't blame them, neither have we!

Crystal is an absolute must have at your wedding or event!! I met her at my Uncle’s wedding the summer before mine and I knew I needed her to perform at mine and booked her immediately after! Throughout the whole process she was so easy to work with!! Beyond friendly & responds quickly! I kept saying I wanted to be her best friend that’s how amazing, personable, & sweet she is! I asked her if she knew of a good saxophone player to perform with her and her recommendation was amazing as well and I was able to book him directly through Crystal which was so easy. We found Crystal from another wedding we attended a few years back in which my husband and I were not even engaged but we turned to each other and both said we needed her to be at our wedding one day! Fast forward to our engagement and Crystal was one of the first vendors I booked and I am SO glad I did. From the moment we first spoke on the phone until the last minute of our weddings day Crystal was the absolute best! Her professionalism and communication kept us both calm during the planning and even throughout our wedding. Crystal was AMAZING and absolutely stole the show in the best way. She kept everyone on the dance floor and was so great with the crowd. The Percussionist you never knew you needed at your next event!
I don’t even know where to start when it comes to Crystal, she is that awesome. She is a high energy, amazing spirit who is always upbeat and gives off great positive vibes. She is such a down to earth and genuine person that my wife and I felt like we had known her for years, way before our big day.
Throughout the whole process leading up to our wedding, the day of, and beyond, she was always willing to answer any questions without hesitation. She is as real as it gets and it is truly refreshing the level of honesty, integrity and straight forwardness you get from her in a competitive environment such as the wedding industry. As great a person she is, it is only matched by her extreme talent as a musician. She can liven up any party and get any group of people moving and grooving. She is a true musician and talent that can play off anything thrown her way musically. The added atmosphere she creates is something you never knew you needed at your wedding, but truly do need. The guests at our wedding could not stop talking about her throughout the night. In fact, she is still mentioned to this day!

There is no party without crystal the percussionist
This review is LOOOOOOONG Overdue!!!!!!!!!!!!! My now husband and I decided to have a destination wedding in Xcaret Park in Mexico last summer and we were so nervous about the entertainment especially since that is one of the major key factors of having a successful event. So when Crystal agreed to be our percussionist and travel to Mexico to perform at our wedding we were soooooo excited!!!! We had nothing to worry about knowing we had Crystal there! There is only one word to describe her and that's SHOWSTOPPER!!!!! She brings the HEAT!!!! Her energy is contagious and she had the crowd going all night long even into the long hours of the night until sunrise!!! My husband and I will forever be grateful to Crystal for surpassing expectations! She gave one hell of a performance! I wanted a little something extra at my son's wedding for our guests to remember other than the bride and groom. Ms. Vargas was by far that extra something. The e-mails and text messages I received the next day were....Where did you find her.....That Girl Was Amazing ! and they were not referring to my daughter-in-law. If you want a performance to remember and shoot your event to a level you would not believe is attainable go no further....Crystal Vargas is the young lady you want to hire.....She is worth every penny and then some.

Crystal Vargas was by far the best and most entertaining part of our wedding reception. Crystal was highly recommended to me by both our venue and other couples whose wedding she played at. Crystal played percussion with the DJ while bringing our guests to their feet and engaging the crowd. From the second Crystal started playing, our 230+ guests did not leave the dance floor. It was absolutely amazing! Our family and friends can't stop talking about Crystal's talent and how much fun they had. One of the best parts about Crystal is that she truly cares about providing the best experience for both the couple and the guests, and this is very evident in how she plays. My husband and I even got to have some fun playing the drums, a moment we will never forget! I am so grateful to have Crystal as a percussionist on our special day and highly recommend her to all couples!

We hired Crystal as the percussionist at our wedding and all we can say is Crystal was AMAZING!!! It was one of the best decisions we made to have Crystal add that live music touch to our wedding. Our 200+ guest were on the dance floor all night and are still talking about how amazing Crystal was. She also made us feel like percussionist ourselves as she stepped aside to allow us to play on her equipment. It was an amazing time!! Our guest were so impressed from the minute they walked in the ballroom and saw her equipment setup. We have people still asking about her. She was on time setting up, very professional, and she loves what she does. Crystal is an all around awesome person! I would absolutely recommend Crystal to anyone!! You will not regret it! We can't thank Crystal enough for being such an essential part of our wedding day and for making it a memory we will never forget!

Crystal brought such a unique and vibrant energy to my 33rd birthday party! She went above and beyond her call of duty to ensure that my event was a huge success. Multi tasking her skills as a DJ, MC, and percussionist, Crystal kept the crowd on their feet and dancing all night long! My guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves to the point of singing along with classics and demanding that the party go into overtime. I could not have asked for a better turnout. Where do we even start?! Crystal is AMAZING!! If you want your wedding to be a party and you want your guests to be dancing the whole night, Crystal is your girl. Adding a percussionist to our event was one of the best decisions we ever made. Our guests are still talking about how cool and different it was. We had a DJ and adding Crystals percussion set allowed everything to get kicked up a notch. Her professionalism throughout the whole process was excellent! I will be telling anyone and everyone about her and I hope to work with her again for future events. Don't hesitate and just book her! Money well spent!

Having Crystal perform at our wedding was AMAZING and probably the best decision we made in planning. We can't even really describe how much she added to our wedding. At first we weren't sure if the crowd at our wedding would respond to a percussionist, but everybody LOVED it and Crystal really made the party rock. She just brings so much life and energy to a party and the drum sound really makes people want to dance. She even let the bride and groom play a bit which made for a great photo.
At the brunch we hosted the morning after the wedding the #1 question/comment we got from friends and family by far was "Oh my God, where did you find the bongo/drummer lady? She was so awesome!" People are literally still talking about it now, almost a month later. There's no doubt in our minds that 5 or 10 years from now everyone who came to our wedding will have forgotten what the centerpieces looked like or how the steak tasted but they will remember Crystal and that the dance floor was rocking because of her. We can't recommend her highly enough.

We hired Crystal for our wedding to add a live feel to our DJ. She was amazing!!! She made the music so much better and is a wonderful percussionist. She goes with the beat of the songs and really gets the crowd up and dancing. She is very professional, fun, talented and truly amazing all in one. We had a lot of children at the party, they all got behind the drums and played and even with them just pounding off beat she still sounded amazing when she played along side the kids. Playing on her own was mesmerizing she has such an amazing personality that makes people want to get up and party with her! From start to finish she was nothing but smiles and filled with energy! We will use her again %1000 !! Wedding, eventually christening and other parties because she really adds that extra spark to any event! I can't thank her enough!!! She was amazing !! As a bride and groom, we made music a priority and wanted a percussionist to go along with the DJ. Crystal Vargas exceeded that expectation and everyone was dancing all night! People still ask about her and rave about how great our drummer was! She was professional, great to work with and her energetic personality showed through in her music. We had Crystal do percussion with our DJ for our reception and it could not have been any better! She arrived at the perfect time to set up, and our guests were amazed when they walked in from the cocktail hour. She added the live music touch that we wanted to make the party amazing.
